Ok, first I am sorry.
For what?

For decideing I won't be on the muck anymore once the new year starts.  Real Life needs to come first and role play times need to saddly come to an end. I have thought on this for the past couple months and finally deciided I have to say  goodby to the muck.

What does this mean ICLY for Krisha, I am unsure.

Donica,my hare is going to leave the LP and just go off elsewhere. Now her and Velm do have a child(NPC thats spoofed)..Velm can  spoof the son if he wants to or maybe the son gors with Donica.

I will figure out a IC thing for Krisha and then update.

Again, sorry if this upsets people. I would love to stay and keep roleplaying but other things in my life need to come first and to totally pay attention to that, I have to totally say bye to the muck. I have very much enjoyed role plays and will miss it.

So once 2023 starts,I am no longer on the muck.

Cole had been away like a couple days before he came back.He looked at the abbey gates and walked on inside slowly looking around, ears drooped a little.He had been doing some thinking.   

Krisha was near the entry talking to some novices about the chores they are to be doing when she sees Cole out of the corner of her eye and goes over to him"Cole?...wait where is Cinana..."Paws on hips "You better not of let her go on her own, it's dangerous to travel alone.Did...something happen?" She started to get a little worried.   

Cole blinks and backs up,he raises a paw"She is find Mother Krisha, the two otters are escorting her to wherre she is going.I am back cause...well..."He isnt sure what to say "I been thinking and even Ciana and those two otters agree, I shouldnt leave the patrol..they need me, even if I do mess up sometimes,I am still...or maybe not..a patrol hare still"   

About the same time Gorvenalus and Benar walked into the entry, the abbot smiled"Well it's a good thing your letter wasn't sent off yet then.And it seems you were asked to do a very important job for the abbey, escort out Ciana to where she was heading and you did that."He looks the hare up and down and clears his thoat "If I was you I would get your LP uniform back on before your seen without it."
   
Krisha nods to the Abbot and the Recorder and listens to Cole, a sigh of releif "Oh thank the seasons, I am glad Ciana is not going alone.I worry about any young ones that have grown and left to go elsewhere." She smiles"And I am glad to hear your not leaving the patrol Cole"   

Cole smiles"Thank you Abbot and..yeah"He chuckles some as he salutes.A look to the badger"Its ok , she will be fine and safe.Also the roads and woods...least south, seem fine no unusual actively going on."   

Benar nods"Good, I am glad the 67th is up and running again.Haveing then around will help keep the peace in Mossflower.I will let your officers know you got back safely and maybe Matilda can escort you back to the base after breakfast tomorrow morning."
   
Krisha speaks "I am sure Brother Rick can tend to the gates while she is away."She sighs "We still need a full time gate keeper though."
   
Cole nods, he is tired and oddly not asking for grub,he just wants to sleep.Likely it means a large breakfast,the poor Frair and cooks. He smiles once more "I am sure your find a good full time Gatekeeper soon.Maybe Brother Rick even,he seems to do a jolly good job of it"   

Benar shrugs"I am unsure yet whom will be, I am gonna speak with the elders in the next few days of that."He then excuses himself as he and Gorvenalus walk back inside the main bulding.
   
Krisha watches them head off and once more looks at Cole"As I said,glad to see you back..Private Cole."A small smile "I should check on the dibbunss,see you in the morning."   

Cole says, "Course Mother Krisha"At the mention of Private he smiles,it felt good to hear it."Goodnight then.."And off he heads to the guest room to sleep,in the morning he eats a large breakfast and then heads back to the 67th base with Matilda.Matilda heads back to the abbey after making sure the hare gets inside the base."

Krisha set out to the market with a list of some things the abbey needed."The spice merchant is at the market,some annoying reason he wants us to come to him, also we have some nails and such to get from the Blacksmith ." She does help with the forge at the abbey.The abbey forge is small and only used for things such as nails,henges and barrel rings but Krisha has been rather  busy heklping with harvest, and dibbun duties and helping with some abbot duties the past couple weeks Abbot Benar had some time off.Also the whole checking on Ferravale a couple days, that was ehausting and also upsetting to see the village so destoryed and basicly...well empty of beasts, yes a very,VERY small few was there but hardly any at all.

Kage has been spending time at a camp by the bridge, a camp thats likely well gyuarded and kind of hidden or least  not found really unless one is looking and knew where to go. He was heading back towards the abbey in fact, what he missed the food and no one said he couldnt go hang iout at the abbey and besides he could like spy or learn stuff.

Jaison looked at a list,"I will get some herbs,also some herbs by the river.Me and a small group of novices can also get clay by the river if that's ok?"

Matilda spoke up"It is as long as I go along with you.The ones who invaded Ferravale may well be miles away but I am not taking any chances some are still around to ambush us"

Krisha smils "You worry too much Matilda.It will be ok but yes Jaison have the champion go with you anyways and be careful.We meet meet back up at the entrry to the market."

Jaison nods to this.He was in fact fine with the hedgehog coming along as parts of the river was just down right scary sometimes,even in the daylight.

Oz was also along for the trip,well sort of, he kind of sliped out to eplore some on his own only to be found by Matilda and given a lecture.

Kage lookd up as he seen and heard voices.A paw goes to his side where he has a long dagger,but he stops when he sees Abbey beasts and his arm relaes but he stays alert still as he watches the group, or rather two groups it looks like now.

Matilda leads the group with Jaison to the nearby river bank for some water herbs and river clay.

Krisha makes sure Oz stays close"Your grounded by the way.You are to go to Lacota and tell him your helping wash dishes after the eveing meal and also helping after breakfast tomorrow, and after lunch." She also gave the badger a small lecture,she was good at lectures now as she learned from the best, Papa Oz himself.

The market soon came into view with it's various stalls and stands of various things.Fruits and veggies,even a stall with some rather questing fish and shrimp. Another stall had cloths and there was the forge beast and of course a spice merchant.Also some various other stalls of things one may find at the market.

Kage recogized the teen badger and chuckled as he got closer,following at a safe distance and alert,always alert.

Oz sighed and looked around but stayed close to his mother ."Alright mother I unserstand."

Krisha shaked her head.She then got the group of novices and a couple order beasts with her together.She passed out lists of things each group would get and the prices things should be, she would deal with the spice merchant and she trusted Brother Rick to handle the forge beast since the old squirrel knew the forge beast for like seasons now.

Kage leaned on a nearby post,he waited till Oz passed as he spoke"Parents can be strict at times am I right?" He smirks a little.

Oz gasps and then nods"Oh hello Mr. Kage.I remember you. You helped me back to the abbey after that umm" He frowns as he looks down"The weasel or..ferret.."He forgot just what creture it was.

Krisha meanwhile found the pice merchant as she looked over her list "No..only the amont I said."She sighs "Ok then I want some of your claming tea, and some of the fruity tea as well added  to the deal."A smile as the merchant agrees with this and he gets a few more coins from the deal.Krisha then turned to.."Oz?.."She looked around and blinked"Oz!"She then laid eys on the wildcat and quickly walked over towards them.

Kage chuckles and then,.."Oh boy..."He mutters as he strightens up and nods"Hello miss....ummmm?"

Oz frowned as he seen his mom "Mom, it's ok...he helped me a couple weeks ago...when I...ummm..."Oh yeah he never told her he kind of sliped off,after all the abbey was a bit busy with a lot going on and the Ferravale issue and other things.

Krisha narrows her eyes, a glace at the Wildcat and then Oz"Helped with what?" She keeps her calm and studies Kage and it's crystal clear she don't trust the cat.

Kage backs up a little "Greetings I am Kage,traveling Healer. No harm is coming to the lad here. In fact he is right  I helped him with a bit of a ferret problem and lead him back to the safety of the abbey."

Oz looks down"He saved my life mom.....and got me back home.I" He looks up "I overheard the Defender's base was burned down too and wanted to  see for myself  and I didn't get very far on the road...well almost to that Black Gull...anmd I had father's blade on my back..."Oh boy he didn't mention that either.

Krisha has a claming breath "Tell Lactoa your helping him for the net...the net week" She then looks at Kage.."Well thank you but he shouldn't og been in a spot to need help and..."Looks at Oz "Why did you have your father's blade with you,,,,where is it now...."

Kage just, yeah he is backing away from this and maybe heading off somewhere, somewhwre far from this.

Oz frowns "I put it back in the chest...I'm..s..sorry mom,I just ...I figued no one woyuld brother me if they seen a badger with a weapon..."

Krisha just looks ready to scream, but luckly she doesn't.She looks at Kage as if he is up to something.She is a little grumpy"Where do you think your going?"

Kage gulps "I....hmmm"Think quickly brain please.."I can help carry things back or pull a cart.Be a back guard as I used to be a body guard to a mayor of a small town..."He doesn't gop into detail,it's not really needed but he is telling the truth.

Oz is smart,he just stays put and quiet.

Krisha studies the wildcat closely,lsitening to him and and nods"Ok...fine..let's go" She meets up with Jaison and the others, tells Matilda the wildcat is helping and it's a quiet walk back to the abbey.

At the abbey:

Jaison walks quietly,very so often looking back at a wildcat who seems to have helped carry in some supplies and other things from a trip to the market.The hamster speaks up"I..suppose you could help around here maybe, your have to ask de abbot or one of the other elders about it sir"   

Benar is watching the Foremoleand his team and a group of squirrels working on the scaffolding that is now rising up the side of the abbey. it isn't quite finished yet and the Abbot and Foremole as well as Tabitha the squirrel in charge have forbidden anyone from climbing it yet if they are not part of the construction team. But it is very nearly to the roof now.   

Krisha stays close as she had volenteered to go to market to get some things needed.She speaks with some novices and then heads over to where the abbot is,a glace at the others before heading over to the abbot"Everything going ok Benar?"   

Jaison takes some supplies into the infirm,the wildcat stays in the open ground and looks around.He had been at the abbey a week before but only stayed the night.   

Benar turns to look at the others and smiles, "Oh hello Krisha, yes all is well," he gestures up, "The scaffolding is nearly complete, soon we will be able to get up and survey the roof in full."   
   
Krisha glces up and nods "Well it seems you have enough helpers.I hope it doesn't take too long.I got some things we needed at the market by the way, and a group of novices even got some river clay"   

Benar asks, "Oh? What had we run out of?" he turns away from the construction to look up at the badger, "And more Clay is always good, I am always running out."

Kage tilts his head as he clears his throat"So this is the Abbot of Redwall, hello good sir I am Kage..traveling healer.I had intrest in staying a little while but I would not do so without asking the one in charge of course."He offers a smile"I know some are unsure of vermin species in the abbey"   

Benar smiles at Kage, "As long as you live here in peace then you are welcome and have nothing to fear from any abbeybeast, we welcome all here to our home."   

Krisha speaks "There was some spices from teh spice dealer at the market, the one that usually comes downn this way decides to stay at the market this season, also got some other needed itrems on the list and we do still have some clay but I had a feeling it was needed soon." She keeps an eye on Kage when he speaks,maybe herself still slightly unsure of him."The abbot is right."she states.   

Kage nods"Of course, of course."He did let the guards have his weapons at the gate after all."I dont plan to harm any beast,just be helpful if I can.Maybe even help with your roof project even, somehow"
   
Benar says, "Of course Kage," he looks up, "Our Sparrow friends tell us there are holes in the roof and and Tabitha have been up to look and it is quite bad, looks like a storm we had blew some tiles off, a roofing joist rotted and fell in taking the tiles in, so we never saw anything on the ground."
   
Krisha lets the abbot speak and adds "We should have enough help for those that want to venture up top, but maybe you can help with carring things to the open ground that need to be up on the roof so it can be fied in time for winter"
   
Kage chuckles some"Oh trust me I don't plan on going up on your rooftops,one could easyly fall. But yes maybe help carry items or help elsewhere even. I likely won't stay too long,never was one to stay in one area too long"   

Krisha stays nearby , only leaveing when Sister Anna walks over and mutters something to her,which makes her sigh but she does head off, slowly at first and then shakes her head deciding it's best to check on something else that demands her attention more.   

Kage watches the badger go and hmms softly "Your Badger Mother seems to not trust wildcats too much."
   
Benar says, "Well wildcats are a rarity and she has some... ancient history with a bad wildcat," he shakes his head, "I am sure in time she will warm up to you Kage and thank you for offering to help even if it is down here onthe ground"

Kage nods"Well, prehaps not all wildcats are trustworthy beasts"   

Benar says, "Well the same is true for all beasts, not everyone can be trusted, I have met villanous woodlanders and those people would call vermin who are saints."

Kage seems curious of this "Vermious woodlanders? Odd I have not meet a woodlander who thought them selfs evil, yes a lot of woodlanders are uncertain of me but I am used to it. I harm no one unless hey proove they need harmed. I am a simple healer . I used to be a body guard at one time,saddly that was the past and in the northlands. A lot less cold here in your Mossflower"   

Benar says, "Being a healer is a great calling," he smiled softly, "And I know the nortlands quite well I grew up there it was... long ago for me now though. And every beast can walk their own path, what species we are does not define if we are good or evil"
   
Kage hmmms"Wise words you are full of much wisdom.And few like the northlands there is not much there"

Benar says, "Well for now I need to head inside," he smiled at the wild-cat, "But I will no doubt see you around Kage"
   
Kage nods"Good eve then Abbot."He too heads inside after a short while.

Oz had been restless the past couple of weeks. Ever since Saro gave him the idea that he likely could be just fine on his own. So after some thought, it was decided, by him, to slip outside or at least try to while most were busy or at lunch. He even had a small knapsack on his back.

However, the badger hadn't gone entirely unnoticed. Dochas had spotted his empty seat at the table and managed to slip out of Great Hall before the food was served. The young squirrel trotted along the paths, looking around for him. She soon spotted him by the main gate, and broke into a run. She leaps into the air and tries to pounce on him and wrap her arms around his shoulders, above the knapsack. "Ozzie!"   

Oz looks at the gate, a slight frown as he didn't think on the just how to leave part once at the gate,a look at a guard who seems tired and bored.He then jumps slightly and looks behind him to see Dochas and frowns more"What....I just...ummm" He adjusted his knapsack.   

Dochas puts her paws on her hips and stares accusingly into the badger's face. "What are you doing? Are you trying to sneak out?" She's done her fair share of escape attempts, so the squirrel knows what they look like. "Why on Earth would you do that?"
   
Oz shrugs,he then speaks "I can...explore on own."He says this slowly, He is basically a teen...the squirrel is older than him.   

Dochas scowls and crosses her arms. "Just because we /can/ do something doesn't mean we /should/. How would your mom feel if she found out you had run away from home? Where would you even go, anyway?"   

Oz sighs, he then tilts his head "No run ways....just.."He thinks on this a moment and then sits down "Not like other dibbuns like me.."And a couple don't like him, and then there is "Unless they wants ta reach something like cookies or what ever"
   
"And this is the gate," a mouse, a novice says loud enough for everyone to hear. "Jerome," Spruce dryly responds, "I think he knows that."   

"No, no- very good to have comprehensive refresher." The other mouse speaks quickly, barely older than his two guides, "Thank you, novice Jerome." The trio are slowly making their way over to the the dibbuns. There's a moment or so when Spruce sees the DAB leader that he falters in his step, but she's older now and hopefully more mature - plus she seems occupied by the badger.   

"Heyo, Ozzy! Dochas! Whatcha up to?" Jerome waves, smiling broadly. He was counted a dibbun up until only a few seasons ago.   

Dochas suddenly droops and goes to hug the badger. "*I* like you! Gracie likes you! A bunch of us like you, just the way you are, just because you're our friend! Besides, I'm the best climber in the Abbey," (not really, but she thinks she is) "I don't need help getting cookies or whatever. Have any of the other Dibbuns been being mean to you?" The squirrel starts to secretly plot how to punish them -- bullying is the biggest thing she refuses to tolerate. She suddenly jerks upright when her name is called, and waves at the approaching group. "Hi. We're just talkin'." She won't tattle and get him in trouble, that's for sure.   

Oz frowns "A...couple dislike me."He whispers the names and then spots Spuce and gives a short wave.   

"Good day for it," Spruce grunts, not bothering to introduce the guest. With a sideways glance Jerome picks up the slack: "Dochas, Oz, this," he gestures to his fellow mouse, "Is Urtas. He came here from far away a few days ago and me n' Spruce've been showing him 'round the abbey. Urtas, friend, this here's Oz - the son of the badgermother, and that there's Dochas. She can speak for herself, eh?" Jerome grins. "I hope you two aren't getting up to any trouble!"   

Urtas for his part bows at the waist to the two dibbuns. "Pleasant to meet you. You're lucky to live here, I'd say- it's wondeful."   

Dochas stares defiantly up into Urtas' eyes, kicking at the badger slightly to try and get him to stand up when the newcomer bows to them. She files the names of the bullies in her mind so she can mete out punishment on them later. After he's done speaking, the squirrel informs him, "I'm the Ringleader of the Dibbuns Against Bedtime. We call ourselves the DAB, and we don't like grownups." She is suspicious, and for good reason -- she still remembers the kidnapping and enslavement they experienced, and how a newcomer hare was to blame for it. She's not a fan of strangers from far away lands.   

Oz doesnt remember much of the kidnapping, least the ones who took all the dibbuns.He does remember the wildcat though."Also...not like...bedtime"   

Urtas is slightly taken aback at the squirrel's expression, his smiling failing. He opens his mouth to say something, stuttering, "I-I'm sorry?" But Spruce cuts in - "Dochas." He speaks firmly, "The mouse's barely older than me or Jerome. I doubt Mother Krisha would be happy to hear you be so impolite to a guest... but luckily," he adds, looking at Jerome, "None of us are planning on telling her about this, right?" He nudges the novice with his elbow. "Right?"   

"Uh, right Spruce." Jerome mutters, his lips set in a thin line. "Honestly, Dochas, I'd say Urtas is friendly enough. Doesn't my time in the D.A.B. mean anything?"   

"Excuse me," Urtas speaks up finally, "But," he smiles, raising his paws and stepping between Spruce and Dochas in a pacifying gesture, "But peace, peace - I mean no harm, and you seem a rather feisty beast, no? And I would wager being against bed time is a rather noble cause!" He laughs.   

Oz steps back a little as he watches the newcomer,he then looks at gate again as if still debateing going outside the abbey or not. He sighs a little.   

Dochas raises an eyebrow at the 2 young Redwallers. "That hare who drugged all of us so we could be kidnapped and taken to that stupid island to live in slavery seemed pretty friendly, too." However, when the newcomer interrupts the rant, the Ringleader smiles. "Yeah, bedtime is boring, and baths are stupid 'cause the adults get soap up your nose an' in your ears. An' school is boring. An' stealing pies is fun." School would be more fun for the squirrel if she could just figure out this whole reading thing.
   
Spruce raises a brow, ignoring Urtas' attempts to calm things down - "Dochas," he asks, quietly, "Do you intend to become a novice like Jerome?"   

"Please don't drag me into this more than you have, mate." Jerome squeaks. Throwing up his paws, Urtas gives a dramatic sigh. "Alas! Spruce, please, leave it be. But," he turns, "I have stolen my share of pastries before. Truly, I never really have had a pie before I come here. Nor sweet things as a whole, excepting on high feasts of course. Though I suspect the cooks let me, of course..." Looking at the ground and recalling those days for a moment, he sighs again. "Sadly I believe I have always been allowed much, and rarely struggled for pies like you, looking back."   

Oz decides that while they are arguing, he will slip ever ,ever closer to the abbey gates. And the one guard is..yeah he should be fine  s he just kind of looks at the ones inside and back to the road, sort of, he is bored.   

Before Urtas starts trying to calm them down, Dochas very calmly answers Spruce's question with a "No." Then the newcomer is talking, and the Ringleader is listening, although her gaze wanders around to look at various and sundry things as she rocks back and forth on her feet. "Why would you be allowed to get away with a lot? That kind of sounds boring....and rules are rules for a reason, even if you don't like them and break them a lot."   

Krisha has headed out of the abbey building and over to the entry, mainly to see what was going on. She notices the mouse,he does look familiar to her and a closer look shows why."Is all alright here?"   

Spruce nods, replying nonchalantly, "I figured as much, considering your respect of the charter..." Jerome takes the moment when Krisha appears to nudge the squirrel with is elbow back. "Spruce, stop it..." He whispers, before slapping on a bright expression. "Mother! No problems, really. Just introducing our guest to the dibbuns and discussing pies - /not snatched,/ of course!"Rubbing the back of his neck with a paw, he laughs. Urtas gives the badger mother a polite bow. "Hello."   

Urtas turns back to the younger squirrel, "As to answer your question - I like to think it was because I was the only babe around when I was young, and the soft hearts of the staff."
   
Oz sighs,he manages to slip away before the Badger Mother comes into view. He is a bit stronger than the other dibbuns and so slipping out could be easy,that and a random order beast is returning from, it appears to be a walk to the market up the road as they don't have much, just a small bag of some sort of candy nuts. Oz takes his chance and....towards the road he goes while everyone is busy.   

Dochas frowns at the newcomer's answer. "I'm sorry...you were the only Dibbun? That would be lonely." She hears the Order member come through the gate and greet the guard, and the squirrel can't help but look back at them....and see that Oz isn't behind her anymore! "Ozzie!" The Ringleader darts out the gate, desperately looking around. "Ozzie!!" She takes off after him, forgetting that she's now breaking the rules, too.   

Krisha nods a hello and then catches sight of Dochas as she zooms off"Dochas get back here right now young lady!" She looked at the others and then the path leading to the road.A grumble is heard.   

"It was not as bad as one would think," Urtas says in the moments before Dochas runs off, "But then again I do not have much reference-"   

"WAIT OZ, DOCHAS!" Spruce shouts as well, rushing after the other squirrel and badgers too. Jerome blinks, looking from Urtas to others running. "Uh, what?"   

"Come on," Urtas gestures to the other mouse as he begins following all the others out of the gate, "I believe we should help!"   

Oz only speeds up once he is more out in the open and gets to the road.He stops a morment as he tries to figure out weather to go north or south on the road. It's clear he doesn't have a real plan om just where to go yet.
   
Dochas is pretty fast for someone her age and size! She zooms to Oz's side. "Ozzie, stop! You can't go!" She tries to grab his arm so she can lead him back into the Abbey. Ignoring the shouts from the adults, the Ringleader adds, "Your mom will miss you! She's the only family you have! Why would you leave her?? I would never do this to my parents, if only I had them back!"   

Krisha takes a deep breath and exhales as she steps out of the abbey and towards the others, he focus on the two young ones Oz and Dochas.sHE DOESN'T LOOK TOO HAPPY EITHER.   

Spruce seems to rethink the idea of running ahead of an enraged badger, and slows down to simply follow Krisha. A little way behind him Urtas is with Jerome, moving at a slower pace.
   
Oz frowns as Dochas catches up now.He shrugs off her paw and backs up a little.He listens to them and shakes his head"My...fault..."He mutters about family.He just stands there, for now and repeats "My fault.."He glaces towards the Badger Mother when he sees her.This can't be good.
   
Dochas looks confused. "What's your fault? Your family loves you. I don't understand." She stays focused on Oz, confused and maybe a tiny bit hurt.   

Krisha makes her way over to the two young beasts "Ok what in the seasons is going on..."She looks at Oz and then Dochas"What is who's fault now? What happen now?" It didnt seem like the DAB had done anything lately,they been fairly good for weeks but something was likely due sooner rather than later."lso I would like very much if we went back inside, all of us."   

Slowing to a stop, Spruce says something to the two mice when the catch up to him. "Come on, we should probably move to the other side of badger cub, just in case he makes another bolt for it. Or Dochas, but I'm not sure /that's/ a danger." The others nod and they, as inconspicuous and casually as they can, pass by the badger mother and dibbuns.   

Oz just sits down and hugs his knees to his chest"Dad...gone cause of me. I wanted ta visit the rabbit family...but....but the cat was there ...and" What he saw was the rabbit family they knew was dead...the dibbun and the parents and he was grabbed by that wildcat,that horrible wildcat. He whimpers "Alla my fault, me should go ways....notta be, not be here."   

Dochas flinches when Krisha arrives and starts grumbling at them. She opens her mouth to answer, but Oz already is. She listens, her heart filling with compassion. The Ringleader sits beside Oz and goes to hug him. "I don't believe that. It /can't/ be your fault. It was that /stupid wildcat's/ fault. /He/ made that choice, not you. I'm sorry that happened....I saw my parents and grandparents die, too, and it's the scariest thing /ever/. I'm sorry."   

Krisha listens as Oz speaks,she wasn't there when all of the stuff happen.She remembered finding the aftermath the following morning.A deep breath as now was not the time for bad memories to pop up."We all need to go inside...please." She had planed to send them to the abbot,but not now.She stepped closer to them.   

Oz sniffs and allows the hug,then scooots away from them looking ready to bolt again, but luckly for them he bolts back inside the abbey,his knapsack drooped and he goes to hide somewhere for a while he hopes he isn't easyly found right away.   

Contrary to the compassion Dochas (and himself, moments ago) shares with the young badger, Spruce can't help but roll his eyes when he hears Oz fully, but father like son, maybe. Thankfully he's far enough away from the two dibbuns (and Oz's mother) for them to see - but Urtas does, the mouse narrowing his eyes and filling the moment away in his head. Jerome is oblivious, watching the the scene in front of him anxiously.   
The two mice breath a sigh of relief when Oz heads back.   

"Ozzie!" Dochas cries as she stands to chase after him again, only to pause when he heads back inside the Abbey. The squirrel looks around, gulps, then looks at the ground, kicking a pebble away from her. "I'm sorry, Mother Krisha. I didn't mean t' leave the Abbey without a grown up. I just was trying to keep Ozzie from running away." Spruce is lucky the Ringleader didn't see his eyeroll -- if she had, she probably would've bitten him by now.   

Krisha is silent and then speaks "What...happen?" She looks at all the beasts outside the gates"Lets get inside, ok?"She watched Oz speed inside with a frown, she would try to find him later.She goes to lead them all inisde, and once inside will have the door closed.   

Now that the dibbuns and badger mother are heading back, Spruce and the two mice follow as well - especially at Krisha's urging. The three are quiet as they do so, none daring to speak until they're back inside the gates. Once inside, though, the squirrel simply states, "He's a bit like his father, so it seems."   

Dochas obediently follows the badger as she tells her side of the story. "I didn't see Ozzie at lunch, so I left to find 'im, an' he was at the gate, so I was talking to him, an' he said some of the other Dibbuns were being mean to him, then I was talking to Urtas and Spruce an' Jerome, then Oz ran out the gate an' I followed him." The squirrel is struggling to hold back tears. "I'm sorry, Mother Krisha! I should've watched him better...I...I..." she angrily wipes away her tears. "I'm gonna go eat lunch, then I'm gonna try to find him." (Forget the fact that that means skipping reading class, which is one of the classes she's doing the most poorly in.) The Ringleader dashes off inside to get some food since lunch is still being served.   

Krisha starts to speak a couple times and then just frowns,her attention to Spruce "Like his father? How so?" She gives her attention to the beasts that are left. She has calmed down, it is true her son is even looking almost like Xander,excpet for his eyes, he is like a young version of his father.   

"Well," Jerome awkwardly interjects before the squirrel can answer, "Er, if it's alright with you, Mother Krisha, I think I'm gonna take Urtas inside for lunch."   

Spruce folds his arms, stepping back slightly. "Never mind me, ma'am." He manages, "Just... I seem to remember hearing him do something similar.... That's all. I mean no offence."   

Krisha nods, "Anyways let's go inside and finish lunch."She speaks quietly and heads  on inside with the others.

LOG:

The Abbot is standing by the fire warming his tail on the flames as he looks up at the rest of the abbey. Seems he is just enjoying the fire and some quiet time alone.

Teku is watching the abbot from a tree before she slips closer over to him. A couple of other squirrels with her, by the outfit it is Gawtribe squirrels. She says nothing yet as she is just sort of watching him for now.   

Benar is humming softly to himself as he loads another log into the fire, "Life is Strange and vast, filled with wonders and joys," he seems unconcerned by the approaching Gawtribe squirrels.
   
Teku blinks, she edges closer and then speaks "You are the leader of abbey?" She seems to be sort of in charge of the Gawtribe for now since Micco lost a paw-to-paw fight with John but at the same time...she sounds angry. Micco had started to go back into the treehouse but sliped and fell after passing out and was taken to the infirm by John...but it seems Teku and the others view it a bit differently as being helpful and more thier chief is captive somehow.   

Benar turns to regard Teku, "I am Abbot Benar yes," he regards her over his glasses, "Your chief Micco is safe and well in our Infirmary, have you decdied to vacate the tree-house yet? It is the property of our children and there are much more comfortable places you can stay whilst visiting with us."   

Teku listens but at first is silent. She looks back to the other couple with her and back to the abbot."Micco said tree is ours now. Gawtribe have no other home and travel much. Find home in old hollowed tree but the tree fell during storm . We seeked new home...ran into couple bad beasts and then was led here." The other two now come forwards as Teku talks "If notta stay in tree home, then where stay?"
   
Benar settles down on a log by the fire, idly stirring it with a stick to keep the flames going, "We have plenty of rooms inside the abbey," he nods toward the towering red sandstone edifice, "But I understand that might not be for the Gawtribe. We built the tree-house, we can also help you build another one but our children aren't going to let you just steal their treehouse."   

Teku pouts now."Notta steal..no one inside at time, if thiers should stay in not leave all empty like did." The other two nod"And up to Micco if leave or stay"   

Benar shakes his head, "It was not being used at the time, but that does not make it empty or free for you to move in," he continues to stir his fire, "It is the children's and the inside of the abbey is a lot more comfortable."   

Teku takes a deep breath and mutters something,the abbot is lucky they have no weapons,the weapons are in the weapons area. She does have the other couple get closer to the abbot now."Why make go in...maybe you have chief captive and want us captive too....maybe we take you and then get chief back."   

Benar looks down at Teku, "I suggest you think again before trying to harm me, it will go very badly for the lot of you and you'll end up thrown outside our walls with the Hospitality of Redwall rescinded and that is not something I do lightly." He stands up and shakes out his habit, "Do enjoy the fire, it should last for a few hours and keep you warm and if you want to see your chief do feel free to come inside and see him, the Infirmary staff will let him go once he is well enough."
   
"Back off" comes a voice and it's soon to be seen it's the Badger Mother and she doesn't look too happy with the tribe squirrels."For sure think carefully your next move or words."   

Teku narrows her eyes and starts to go closer, then the squirrels are backing away rather quickly as Teku frowns,her ears go back as she tries to think of a response."Wasnt gonna harm...we wanna chief back"   

Benar says, "Your chief is in our infirmary and he is safe," He shakes his head, "If you want to see him and don't want to come inside you can climb the outside of the building and look through the windows." he folds his arms into his sleeves, "It's ok Krisha, our unexpected squirrel guests won't do anything that might have me eject them from the abbey I am sure."

Krisha keeps an eye on the squirrels and speaks "I am going to have a little chat with your chieftain. This takeover of the treehouse had better end soon." She then looks to Benar" It may also be wise to keep John away from the Gawtribe for now."A glace at Teku"You're in charge for now I am guessing?"   

Teku pouts again then a nod"Yeah....but Micco have the final say so."Her tail swings back and forth"Talk to chief and talk to alla Gawtribe....no tricks"   

Benar says, "I don't do tricks," Benar said softly, "I am the Abbot of Redwall Abbey," he looked down at Teku, "I suggest you sit down as a tribe and discuss your stories of Redwall Abbey and then come inside for dinner one night, you may be surprised."

Krisha stays close to Benar and watches the squirrels for a reaction.She manages to stay calm for the time being,it all depends on how the Gawtribe handle this.   

Teku tail puffs up and then she looks to the other two tribe squirrels and quietly speaks to them a few feet away,she glances back at the badger and the abbot quietly before finally speaking "I Teku...and say...we accept offer to come inside and....discuss." Its clear they are not gonna just totally leave the treehouse, least yet anyway.   

Benar smiles and turns toward the abbey, "Very well, you are guests until I say otherwise," he looks at Teku, "But if anyone else attacks another member of my community there will be words delivered by an angry badger. No more fighting with anyone understand?" He then starts back toward the main building.   

Krisha gives a look to Teku that she best listen to the abbot's words "You can let me know when you wish to visit your chieftain...perhaps even come inside or stay outside,your choice."   

Teku frowns ears back and then a nod"Ok, ok...understands." The idea of going inside makes her unsure,she looks to her fellow tribe squirrels and back to the abbot and badger mother"Teku will pass on your words"   

Benar says, "Very well Teku," he nods, "Your chief is free to leave as soon as he is well again, I will speak to you inside, until then enjoy the fire."
   
Krisha keeps an eye on the tribe as she waits for any reply,she nods to Benar "I can handle them Benar,not to worry"   

Benar says, "No Krisha," he says as he starts up the path toward the entrance, "They do not need handling, don't make this worse by getting belligerent on me, we will deal with this calmly as a team. But for now I am going to my office."
   
Teku sits down,the other two squirrels sit down as well,the fire is nice and even though.She keeps an eye on the badger as she sits very quiet and still.   

Krisha sighs, "Fine Benar..."She watches Benar walk off and glaces at the squirrels " You....discuss with the rest of the tribe . But be warned IF I hear of trouble or one of the dibbuns in my care....or any beast for that matter is hurt cause of one of you squirrels. I will personially -THOROW- you out of the abbey myself."She lets that sink in before following Benar inside.   

Teku listens to all that is said, a glace at the badger who now looks very scary indeed.A small short slow nod and the squirrel maid speaks to one squirrel "Tella others meet here...we chat by nice fire."A nod and most of the tribe come to the firepit, two warriors stay in the treehouse,one on top and the other inside keeping an eye out and still , for now, claiming the tree as thier own.
