Our misc. post for the Redwall group has gotten very long, so I'm making a new one just for RP planning Here's the old one to use for discussing other Redwall IC things: http://forum.rwmuck.org/viewtopic.php?id=1756

Oz and I were talking, and we've come up with some RP ideas:

1) Some adventure, either on the Abbey grounds or out exploring Mossflower (or both!).
2) Snow shenanigans!
3) Ice topples an old, dead tree and it falls on something they then have to fix.
4) DAB (see here: http://forum.rwmuck.org/viewtopic.php?id=2149 )

Do you guys have any other ideas? Also, when should we do these things? I'd like to do all of them, if possible, within the next 2 to 3 months.

Also, this is now the thread to discuss Redwall RPs just to try and make it a little more organized.

I might have idea on the tree that falls, but not one in the abbey or really close to the abbey

Okay! What ideas do you have for this tree? Or it could be found by some adventurous Redwallers, led by the restless DoraRose, who go on a little exploration of the woodlands! But I want to hear what you have in mind first

I mean....
Yeah they could find the tree. This old tree, been around a while clearly....but clearly someone lived in it.

Who:

1. The Gawtribe
2. A now rather grumpy owl who just wants to be a hermit and then his tree just HAD to fall down and HAD to attract all these annoying creatures and no he will not eat them, that's discussing I mean where have those creatures been...he rather eat bugs,worms,fish (hee fish is in water so it's clean ...)

3. No one lived there so lets use it for woodwork and firewood (Or maybe one of the first 2 and still use for firewood.)

I do plan on the Gawtribe ending up at the abbey for some reason.... whether it's the tree or they just having a raher bad bad winter or maybe they were almost wiped out(not that there was ever that many of them... couple dozen at most) and the slaver that shows up in ferravale to try and sale slaves has the survivors as slaves and the need rescued!

I think we can have the tree become firewood, whatever little plot we decide to use.

Having the Gawtrybe return would be fun

Concerning the Gawtrybe, the last time they were really around was back when Anomen was chieftain, right? It would be interesting to explore what they've been up to since his death (because he did die, his grave is in the abbey graveyard ;-; John considered him a friend)

Also, I believe John is the only character left in the Redwall area who has really dealt with the Gawtrybe, having helped Anomen depose Alvar back in the day during Marek's Revenge in 2014 (here's the log on the wiki). It's actually a very important character moment for John because its when he really committed to helping Redwall and anyone else, plus the last time he talked to Trillis, which also super important.
Either way, I feel like having Gawtrybe around could be a good way to explore those past events

Cotasong is son to Anomen and Treesong,Cotasong was a small dibbun.

Now I do have a plan as I did run the Gawtribe before and they did leave Mossflower for a few seasons, but they are coming back. I am just working on the coming back part. They very easly could of quietly came back and just picked an old tree that was hollowed out and thought...great home, and then just bad luck happens to the tree. One old....two they made a few dens under the tree....and the dens, the ice if we g with storm here soon, the fact it was an old tree that could of well been slowly dying anyways. And yes this tree is not near the abbey wall but maybe could been seen from the abbey wall and no one really thought much of it

Anyways plan is a Gawtribe Squirrel comes to the abbey gates,falls unconscious and ends up in the infirm.When they wake they explain where the others are and what happen.

The Gawtribe is not gonna have too many members, maybe half a dozen. I spoke with the player that played Zoltar and it was mentioned Zoltar attacked small groups of beasts in his way so I am thinking maybe he ran into the Gawtribe and took some of the squirrels out before the others escaped.

I will work on details of where the Gawtribe been ect.

I am always up for new and interesting things happening in and around the abbey.

I was going to plan some sort of excursion out into the wilds around Mossflower in spring when the weather warms up again with the Abbot and friends.

Ok upcoming roleplay

A group of beasts head into the woods to check on the files tree in the woods and collect the wood for future wooden building needs, also maybe some firewood as well.
All goes well, no attacks....sunny day, walk in woods....but
They may well just meet a rather odd owl...
Wait and see! No date yet for this roleplay just sometime in next couple weeks.
