Swithin is sitting by the fire and just watching the crackle of the logs, a cup of mint tea in paw. He's been cleaned up a bit and looks like a normal abbey beast, except for the clothing and the wild eyes.

Krisha walks down the steps into the Great Hall, seeing the otter she speaks"Hello Swithin"

Swithin looks over and smiles"Hello Krishabadger1 How are?"He holds up the cup of tea.'Mint tea! Neverhad, tastes good!"

Krisha nods,"I am...doing well, had a bit of a bad scare yesterday but things turned out surprisely well."

Swithin tilts his head"Badscare? But good now?: The otter smiles again"Want tea?"

Krisha nods as she sits."Good now yes. Very good as some foxes are no longer a threat now."

Swithin stands up to geta second cup and pour Krisha some tea. Though it may look a little silly how careful the otter is with the cups and teapot."Good less foxes to harm goodbeasts."

Krisha nods again"Yes the GUOSIM helped"

Swithin offers Krisha the cup and sits back down."Swithin hear of goodbeasts GUOSIM."

Krisha take the cup"Yes they are good beasts.  The new leader I think will do very well."She sips the tea"I may also be able to get you a new outfit in a couple days."

Swithin perks up at that secound part "Swithin never had new clothing before."He sips his own tea again and his rutter gives a swish "Abbey nice, full of nicebeasts like Krisha.Nice food too!"

Krisha chuckles."Thanks, you will get to see one of our feasts if you stay here.We have one in spring and Xavier said maybe have it at his GUOSIM camp"

Swithin tilts his head"Swithin not know what feast is, is it fun?"

Krisha says "A feast is a lot of different foods and drinks, music and games, sometimes danceing.We also name each season at the feasts."
Swithin ohhs"Swithin can't dance but Swithin will try all the foods and drinks!" He reaches behind him and pulls out a small flute"Swithin had this on shipEvilbeasts liked music, so Swithin  was allowed to play when wind was strong and rowing not needed."

Krisha hmms, "Guess all like music and not everyone dances. I...well use to dance, even when wasn't a feast"

Swithin nods,"Music good because all beasts enjoy."He smiles at Krisha again"Swithin bets Krisha good dancer!"

Krisha smiles "Yeah" She then briefly frowns"Maybe will dance at the Spring feast, we will see"

Swithin nods,"Swithin will play if Krisha will dance yes?"

Krisha smiles a little,"Alright..it could be enjoyable"She does like dancing and decides she should do it again..sometime.

Swithin checks his flute and plays a quick little ditty meant to check each note, his large paws surprisingly nimble as he plays.He plays a slow tune as he would when beasts were relaxing.

Krisha listens as he plays and smiles at the music.

Swithin finishes the soft tune and pics up a more spirited one. A tune made for seabeasts to dance along to on a swaying ship with probably too much grog in them. His left foot paw taps along to the beat and he hardly pauses for breath as he plays.

Krisha chuckles and smiles a bit more. She even starts to dance but stops before she even really starts, sits down slowly, and frowns as if thinking back on something.

Swithin perks up a moment when Krisha stands up but finishes the tune when she sits back down"No dance now?" He checks the flute again" Swithin is glad flute survived with him"

Krisha doesn't answer right away, then shrugs with a small smile."It is very good music, and I enjoyed it. I was just thinking back to when I...I last danced. is all."

Swithin dips his head"Thank you" The otter stows the flute away" Sorry if Swithin bring up bad memory"He then gives Krisha another smile, "Best way to deal with bad memories is make good memories Or remember good in the bad.Swithin's mum used to say that, Rember the good in the bad"

Krisha listens to his words and smiles"True..I.."She sighs"I last danced with my mate Xander,the afternoon before he..."She doesn't finish the sentence but still manages a small smile"Xander would want me to remember the good also"

Swithin nods,"Best thing we can do is remember the good. Friends and mates would want that.Swithin remember  his friends on ship of slaves, new ones would know jokes and songs.Nice beasts Swithin never would of meet before"

Krisha nods "And your making friends here at Redwall also"

Swithin gives a big smile"New friends at abbey!Swithin learns new foods and Swithin might learn to read if not too hard!"

Krisha smiles "I can be your friend and help you learn to read or maybe Sister Anna can help also."

Swithin says "Swithin would like that and Swithin think Krisha is already friend!"

Krisha nods and smiles "Yes I am a friend"

Swithin smiles and stands"For now, Swithin go to bed. Have good night, Krisha!"

Krisha waves "Goodnight to you as well"

Krisha made sure the dibbuns were in bed.She had felt better after a rest in the library and went to sit in the Great Hall and have some cucumber mint tea.

Xavier woke from the infirmary and slipped quietly out,luckily not caught and went into the Great Hall as well. A sigh as he guessed his raspier was elsewhere. He got lucky with a wild crazy filled attack on the two main foxes, he also had help of his GUOSIM.

Krisha looked up." Shouldn't you rest more? Unlike me you don't have anything to do ."

Xavier shrugged and then looked wide eyed at the badger.He rushed over to suddenly hug her." Mother Krisha..your..your ok. You're alive."

Krisha was in a bit of shock from the hug." Yes...I am.." She then remembers,"I had a book and stuffed toy in my front pocket..the arrow went into that.Very thick book that Brother Gorvenalus is gonna fix."

Xavier nods and backs up. A smile shows. " I..thought. " He just shakes his head." Never mind,  your ok and that is what matters and the abbey and..my camp is ok as well, where are the others?"

Krisha replies." Not sure, somewhere in the abbey,  probably asleep. They are fine."

Xavier finally sits down." Yeah..your right." A smile again. It felt good to smile.

Krisha stands."Want a midnight snack ?"

Xavier nods." Sure.." He then quietly speaks." Sorry by the way."

Krisha looks confused. " On what?"

Xavier speaks." Just being a rude, not always listening teen. I..still am a little scared of leadership."

Krisha gets more tea and some cucumber sandwiches. " It's ok and your learn.I think your doing good.You show you care,  you made sure all was safe and you might have a temper but it can be worked on. " She frowns." Xander was young too when he was leader of Mossflower Defenders at first. He got help and asked for advice.He had good and bad times. He also didn't always get along with members."

Xavier chuckles." Shrews don't always get along either. The GUOSIM will argue over pie or cake, once argued over weather to fish in the morning or at dusk."

Krisha smiles some." Interesting." She sipped tea and got a scone.

Xavier eats also and drinks a little tea." When is your Spring Feast?"

Krisha shrugs." I don't,  Benar will usually bring it up.we might be waiting till our hare, Elbio returns. He is to be back in Spring."

Xavier asks " De other hare, Velm...he heading back?"

Krisha nods." Most likely yeah with who ever tags along with Elbio...probably stay till Spring Feast if we haven't had it yet."

Xavier says." You think….de abbot would have the feast at my camp?"

Krisha hmms." Your need to ask him. But be wise to ask soon,so he can plan."

Xavier nods." It's an idea..just an idea for now."

Krisha nods again." Ask in the morning...goodnight for now."

Xavier waves. "Night…"

Krisha leads a group of dibbuns back in after they had some snow time outside "Inside..inside, come on you can have another fun day outside later"

Gorvenalus watches from the doorway and chuckles "I never could understand why they like the snow so much, makes me cold thinking about it"   

Krisha shrugs "I mean it's...a little fun" She makes sure they are all inside before sighing a little.   

Gorvenalus offers the badger a smile"Things will get better Krisha, it will take time but things will get better"   

Velm pokes his head out" why are you two outside, then again fresh air is good wot" He grins." So how is every beast today, fine I hope"   

Krisha nods, she then looks at Velm "Today? I am...fine so far Velm and yes fresh air is good and it's sunny today" Just a few clouds it seems."Not as cold today as has been either, maybe it's a sign as an early spring would be very welcoming"   

Gorvenalus says, "Indeed but we still have at least 3 or 4 weeks of winter left, but less would be good. I cou;d write in my jornal outside,I have yet to update on the feast we had few days ago"

Velm hmmms. " Snow not that bally well bad. And good for snowball fights much better than real fights and lot safer."   

Krisha frowns at Velm but says nothing."Well maybe tomorrow a snowball fight but not sure I want to join in or not,maybe Sister Anna can."   

Gorvenalus pats Krisha on the shoulder, he nods to Velm "Perhaps I can help if needed, it might be and interesting time but in a couple days.Also Velm, there is gonna be a date set soon to get the weather vane back on the roof, Benar got permission to go int the lofts with a couple others."   

Velm speaks " Sounds good, those sparrows are odd beasts. "
   
Sinway walks through the open gates, his pack on his back and his fiddle case in paw, stoping to take a deep breath finally making it back home. He first notices Krisha  then Gorrvenalus, and a hare he does not know "Well, afternoon to ye lot, tis been a long time." He smiles and waves walking towards the main abbey building "hope ye didn't miss me to much."
   
Krisha turns as she hears, then sees Sinway and actually smiles"Sinway, your ok..your home."She will, if can, hug him. The badger is happy to see a friend.   

Gorvenalus waves "It has been a while yes, welcome back Brother Sinway.."He smiles as he sees Krisha happy, that's good as the badger needs cheered up."And you were missed of course."   

Velm waves " Greetings I am Lt Velm. Healer..good ta meet you chap." The hare bows.   

Sinway gives Krisha a quick hug smiling at her "Tis good to see you too marm, hope the dibbuns haven't been giving ye to much trouble." He then turns to velm and smiles folding his arms in his sleeves and returning the bow "And I am Brother Sinway, caretaker of the abbey's pond, tis a pleasure to meet you as well."
   
Krisha nods "They...haven't no"She sounds a little sad "You missed a lot Sinway ."
   
Gorvenalus says, "A lot has happen, good and bad , things are fair right now"Or least not bad he decides,there is a couple concerns but nothing that's not being handled."   

Velm says, "He missed a blizzard...annoying it was got stuck in it, one reason we have ta jolly well get the weather vane back on the roof soon, and fix the dibbuns treehouse....probably both soonish"   

Sinway looks over to Krisha "what's wrong marm, ye seem sad." Though his attention is then drawn to Velm and Gorrvenalus "Seems like I have a lot of catching up to do.  I didn't expect to be trapped on the green isles for so long, but weather was horrible around the time I wanted to leave, and figured with winter coming up I would just hang about till it got close to being over." He rubs the back of his head with one paw "I didn't want to come back to a full season of winter after all."   

Krisha nods"That would of been bad yes, least winter is about over."She sighs "Yeah you, missed some things...in late
spring/early Summer this group of slaves took almost all the dibbuns, one a goose escaped and they even had my son. Matilda and some others tracked them down and got them back...we even had some long patrol hares and Lord Ciocan here for a week. In fact this spring we are to have an abbey hare again, his name is Elbio"   

Gorvenalus lets Krisha explain some of what happen, he frowns a little knowing  that's not  all the news the otter has missed "Yes all the dibbuns were gotten back and things were good...."He sighs"Till about a month ago, there was some trouble...not on that scale but still...not good"   

Velm knows most things from hearing of it. the more recent he does know." A missing dibbun, just one lucky...John is on the hunt. I think..two cats, one is dead, and Zolar still bally well out thar somewhere.The chap needs beheaded if ask me"   

Sinway frowns as he listens to all this "That is horrible news, but I am glad all of them are safe, can't abide slavers." He looks around for a second "But it looks like you have more to tell, but let's get inside and by the fire for the rest." He walks to the doors to the great hall "I for one have been traveling for a good while and would like to sit down."   

Krisha frowns and lead them inside to where the fireplace is and sits in her chair , quiet for now till they all get inside.   

Gorvenalus frowns and heads inside with the others, he gets some hot tea and scones made for them before coming inside the Great Hall himself, scones and tea,with mugs, ready as he places them on the table beside them.   

Velm just sits. He is not being super excited about food right now and he is a hare, he knows whatever is said next won't be good news.He sits by Krisha.   

Sinway makes his way in and finds his normal spot before turning to accept the tea from Gorvenalus "Hmm, been a bit since I have had tea, me clan doesn't normally drink something so light, well outside of water." He takes a sip from the mug and eats a scone before turning to Krisha "Ye okay marm, ye seem a bit off, did I miss something else?"   

Krisha sips her tea and manages a weak smile"Well you can still drink..ale, your need to get used to tea again..suppose"She sips more tea before speaking."Your caught up on most news."She sighs "A little over a month ago this cat, named Esmeray showed up..claiming to need help for her and some..friend...but it was a trick and this Wildcat named Zoltar whom had tried to start some issues at Brockhall..came back, he is who knows where now" She stops for now.   

Gorvenalus is unsure of weather to explain too much or let Krisha"We did try and find him since we have a missing dibbun, whom we did get proof is alive"
   
Velm nods as he gets a scone
   
Sinway gives a soft chuckle "Aye, there was a lot of ale, bunch of otters together, well there can be a lot of drinking and fights, well more like friendly spars. been rather peaceful over there it seems, not a lot of pirating in the area, which is good." He frowns and listens to Krisha talk then looking over at Gorvenalus "I imagine we got beast out there looking for them, sadly that isn't something i can take part in now, being of the order, father benar would have me tail like a naughty dibbun if i tried."   

Krisha says, "I think...John is looking I am..unsure" She takes a deep breath"My son..is the missing dibbun...me and..."She frowns more, clears her throat"Me and Xander named him after Oz"She was unsure or maybe just not
remembering if Sinway knew or not, he likely did know the cubs name.She seems to be having a hard time going on and finally does "The...the wildcat killed...he killed Xander."No need to go into details of how she went with Dora and Velm to look and found him.
   
Gorvenalus speaks quietly himself "Yes, Oz is missing and no clue where. Xnder fought Zoltar ...likely when the wildcat grabbed or threatened to hurt the cub..we don't know everything, just there was 2 ferrets but those ferrets are dead"
   
Velm says, "Yes...very dead ferrets. wot for from Esmeray was not much but Zoltar Zoltar does have a rather nasty scar on his face now."
   
Sinway frowns looking over to krisha "Im sorry Krisha." He frowns not knowing what to say. he frowns and stands up walking in front of Krisha and kneeling down offering the badger a warm strong smile "They will find yer son Krisha, I know it."He reaches and grabs her paw if she allows Ii know it is hard, believe me I do.....the pain, it will ease and then over time vanish, and then you will remember all of the good memories."   

Krisha frowns, she isn't looking at him till he holds her paw and looks at him, she nods "I..I know, it's just hard smf..I miss Xander and worry that Oz is just gonna end up.."She takes a deep breath again"But I know...have hope."
   
Gorvenalus watches and listens"He will be found, even if it takes a while.John is good at tracking and we have Silverwing an eagle looking also now"
   
Sinway continues to give her that warm smile "that's right, I have only known John for a short while, but  I can tell he is one of the best." He gives her paw a soft rub then a pat before letting it go "I  know it is hard Krisha, but ya got to be strong for the dibbuns that you take care of, and you need to be strong for your cub when he is found and returned."He  turns and picks up his fiddle case that he had set down "I need to put my things away, and then I need to pay my respects to Xander.....is his grave here?"

Krisha nods, some tears now,"Yes..in the graveyard"She says quietly   

Gorvenalus nods "Benar is likely in his room if you wanted to let him know your back Brother Sinway"   

Velm says, "Yes likely figuring out when be best ta get the weather vane issue started,....hmms that's gonna be interesting little adventure wot"
   
Sinway smiles and nods to Krisha "I'll go visit him, I need to visit the graveyard anyways." He turns to Gorvenalus nodding to him "I'll  do just that after  I drop my stuff off at my room." He then stands and gives Krisha a soft pat on the shoulder Ii am sorry Krisha, but I promise it does get easier with time." And with that he walks up the stairs, off to inform the abbot of his return then down to the graveyard he goes.

Krisha is in her chair, right now asleep, for the moment anyways.
   
Caleb would be passing through, cleaning the hall a bit. He notices his mom and smiles as he heads over towards her, tugging a bit on her dress.
   
Krisha mutters something and yawns as she opens her eyes and offers a small smile" Hey."   

Caleb nods and writes a bit for his mom, setting his broom and such down as he hands it to her. "Hello mom. If you need to sleep I can leave you be."   

Krisha shakes her head, " I am fine just didn't sleep well last night and then the dibbuns had a snowball fight."
   
"Oh... I wish I could have joined in. But at least the feast and such went well." He climbs up a bit onto her lap and sits down, smiling up towards her.
   
Krisha nods, a small sigh. " I missed part of it. But...well its ok"   

Jasmine makes her way into the Great Hall, she looks around and finds a chair by the fireplace.She doesn't speak to anyone yet she just stays by the fireplace.
   
"It's okay. It was pretty boring anyways. And I'll make sure to learn all the good food so I can make it for you." He sets his notepad down and looks towards Jasmine, raising an eyebrow.   

Krisha smiles, she then glaces over at Jasmine and clears her voice" Hello there."   

Jasmine jumps slightly and glaces over "Oh..hi"Shesays in a quiet voice "I..didn't mean to, interrupt I was just getting warm, it's cold outside."She decides to sit near them to be polite.
   
Caleb would nod and write out some more, handing the note towards Jasmine. "It's alright, you're not interrupting anything. My name is Caleb... what's yours?"
   
Krisha leans back in her chair and smiles a little." You're new to the abbey aren't you?"   
Jasmine blinks and reads the note looking a little confused at the other mouse, she nods to Krisha "Yes..I am, been here a couple days..my name is Jasmine"   

Caleb giggles somewhat and writes some more, handing her another note. "I can't speak. I was born mute. It's nice to meet you Jasmine."   

Krisha nods." Mother Krisha, I care for the dibbuns here and even some novices. " She smiles a little" Welcome to Redwall Jasmine, your welcome to stay a few days if needed."   

Jasmine smiles at Caleb, she then speaks "I..don't really have a place I stay, I use to be part of a travelling show but ..well I left"   
Caleb for now would snuggle against his mom, watching Jasmine with a smile himself.   

Krisha says, "hmmm a traveling show sounds interesting.Would've been nice for the feast, maybe for a future one." She hmms" You can live here at the abbey Jasmine. I will ask Abbot Benar about it""   
"I'm sure Abbot Benar would be more than welcoming for newcomers. He was very welcoming of me when I arrived." Caleb takes a moment to put his things away before looking towards his mom with a note. "I have to clean some more things. I'll be around, mother."
   
Jasmine nods "That would be nice, thank you. I do need a place to live, and friends would be nice too."She smiles "I can help around here if needed, I even know some healer skills, and how to use a staff."   

Krisha says, "healer skills are always useful, and a lot here can use a staff. The abbey is a peaceful place so not many warriors. There is the abbey champion and like a couple others know some fighting skills. self defense skills a good deal do know, just in case."
   
Jasmine smiles "My..."She frowns "My mother was a healer.She died during a bad snow storm not too long ago and I got separated from the others from the traveling group. My father is with the show, and a brother. I just wish I could..know everyone is ok"   

Krisha says, "Maybe..I could see if a friend can look,let them know your here and maybe they can even do a show. but why did you leave. you mentioned leaving. My guess before the storm or...after"
   
Jasmine frowns "It was..after.''She sighs "I started to run away and..got lost, some shrews mentioned Redwall, so I came here but I was so tired I just went to sleep in a guest room. I know I missed a feast but, well everyone here is...strangers to me, and I was not invited so I was unsure of coming or staying long"
   
Krisha goes over to the mouse and ." Of course you could have come, all are welcome and friends at Redwall. I will see if Silverwing is still around and get a message to your family and friends. "   
Jasmine hugs the badger "Thank you, thank you very much" She sounds happy.   
Krisha smiles and returns the hug." Your welcome."

The Badger Mother even has a novice give the mouse maid a tour, while the mouse gets a tour  the badger gets back to the dibbuns.

Ciana sneaked out with a couple other dibbuns, math was totally boring and so they slipped off to the orchids only to be disappointed " It fell down,now whata we do?" One mouse seems to have an answer" Vermin make it go downs?" The other dibbun, an otter just shakes her head." No..umms..the tree did it?"   

Krisha has started to go out of her room more now, she has not fully returned to dibbun duties,its sort of part time for now. She is walking around the grounds once she heard a trio of dibbuns were missing.Some areas still need paths made, this area one of them.   

Benar is in the orchard with Elmef, talking quietly with the groundskeeper and chief farmer about the upcoming spring and any work that needs to be done on the orchard before then. The fieldmouse points toward the tree house and the abbot nods and makes his way over to look at it. "Hmm that is going to be a pain to put back up in that oak tree.... oh Krisha hello what brings you out here?" Seems he has not seen the wayward little ones yet.   
   
Ciana frowns " oh no...we need ta hide" The mouse is already hiding behind the broken treehouse roof. The otter just rolls her eyes." How shoulds I know."
   
Krisha waves" Just...a walk, also 3 dibbuns are not in the playroom or in class." She is not too worried, well yet she is getting there as last time she got word of a missing dibbun it wasn't good news later on.   

Benar says, "Oh... well  I am sure we can help you track them down if they have come outside," He moved over to the treehouse and looks up at it and sighs, "We may have to build a whole new platform and salvage what we can."

Ciana backs up and goes to move to another area of the orchards when she finds ice and trips, she ends up scraping her ear on a bit of a tree branch that fell,a small branch that likely fell in some strong wind.The mouse dibbun sneezes.The otter groans, " I gives up..we so busted for skipping class"
   
Krisha nods, a glance at the treehouse." Will have to wait till..spring." She goes silent when she hears small voices and shakes her head to head that direction.   
Benar says, "Yes it would be best to wait for the ice and snow to clear," He starts to walk around the treehouse, examining it and Elmef goes the other way, the Abbot and field mouse circling the treehouse. The dibbuns will be in view any moment now.

Ciana starts to cry and stands up slowly holding her now scraped ear, the mouse whimpers and goes to run cause that's the best way to avoid trouble in their eyes.
The otter just folds her arms over her chest and walks into view." I didn't do it.I did nothing."   

Krisha looks down at the mouse dibbun and picks them up, she walks over to Ciana and checks on her ear." What happened?" She sighs" And why are you dibbuns out here?"   

Ciana just starts to cry. one her ear hurts and two she doesn't want in trouble.Also " Treehouse...wanted to p..play..I fell on ice and that made my ear oucie." She points to the tree branch.   

Benar folds his arms into his sleeves and watches the little ones, but he lets Krisha handle them, this is what she is good at after all.
   
The mouse sniffs" Tree is bad, it broke the house..." And tears, the otter mutters " Crybabies "   

Krisha first makes sure Ciana's ear is ok," We can get a herbal paste for this.." She still holds the mouse and sighs , " Still you dont skip class...yeah the treehouse is ..broken needs fixed. " A deep breath, she does not feel like dealing with the troubleing otter right now."Over here..now" It be wise to listen.   

Ciana frowns, " I..sorry. Is it gonnabe fixed?" The mouse just wiggles to be let down.But the otter, nope she just stays where she is, "No." She starts to walk off, the other two dibbuns gasp at this,thr mouse whimpers now.
   
Krisha takes a deep breath and sits the mouse down,she points to the place beside the mouse." Sit please Ciana." And she marches after the otter cub to grab them by the back of their cloak.
   
Ciana quickly sits,the small mouse eyes widen as they watch.The otter cub, none other than Tanya, is suddenly lifted up and none too happy about it ." Let go let go of me." She kicks at the badger." I said Idid nothing, the two crybabies did!"
   
Krisha narrows her eyes at Tanya, the kicking is felt but she doesn't say anything right away. She then speaks." Tanya...your going to help clean dishes for the next 3 days and during that time I will decide if you get to go to the winter feast or if your be sitting in the dibbun sleeping quarters, your get dinner that night but not be st the feast, a simple plate and drink would be brought to you.You are also to dry the dishes. "   

Tanya's mouth drops open, she hummphs and crosses her arms over her chest. Ciana and the mouse dibbun sit where they are quietly and just watch.   

Krisha sits the otter down." Go to the kitchens and I -will- ask the friar and others if you did what you or told to do, if I hear you didnt, you for sure won't be at the feast." She will make sure she heads that direction before attention is focused on the other two dibbuns.   

Ciana frowns, she looks at the Badger Mother worried,as does the mouse dibbun.But they wait to see if they have to do anything or not yet.
   
Benar has been watching all of this from the side, being quiet and letting the Badger Mother take care of the little ones, just lending his silent support by being here.   
Krisha looks at the other 2 dibbuns and speaks. " Do not sneak off like this, beasts worry and we...we don't need more worrying beasts." She sighs as she rubs her forehead," Ciana get an herbal paste for your ear and then both of you are gonna help with some sweeping and dusting today. " They got off a little easier as they didn't talk back and Tanya did. She then frowns and sits down under one of the trees.   

Ciana nods, the two together say " Yes mother Krisha" And head off for chores, but Ciana gives the badger a quick hug before she heads off to help dust.
   
Benar walks over to Krisha and smiles, "You handled that well," He murmured, then looked at Elmef as the field mouse walks over, "So we can repair the platform but we will have to rebuild the whole house. But we can salvage a lot of things."   
Krisha nods as she listens "I need to get back to full time duties again, I just been.." She shrugs, she is also eating better the past few days as well.   

Velm has made his way to the orchards, " The grounds are bigger then one thinks..hallo." He will not interrupt if something important is being discussed.   
Krisha glaces at the hare and gives a small nod to the hare." Hello Velm" She replies quietly.   

Benar says, "Hello Velm," He smiles at them, "We were just discussing the treehouse,"Tthe abbot nods to Elmef who heads off to continue his rounds of the farm. "And yes Krisha it would help I think for you to keep busy."
   
Velm says, "I see, your bally well need to figure out how ta get it back together even better and in the tree again fer whomever. " He smiles at Krisha, smiles help right." tis a nice day lass..right?"
   
   
Benar smiles at Velm, "We have beasts who are good at that, Elmef has a plan, sounds like we have to rebuild it though," He pulled out a piece of broken wood, "We....can't just lift this back up into the trees."   

Krisha manages a weak smile but then loses it, " Could be nicer...I am sure a treehouse can be rebuilt, maybe a more sturdy floor..I don't know, then guess not all of them will be in the treehouse." She looks at the pieces of wood around her."Yeah..this can be fixed at least."   

Velm nods " Perhaps, if tis spring ya can get Elbio ta jolly well help or least think thats when he supposed ta get here..then I will head back about same time."
   
Benar says, "Well I am sure Elbio will be a help when he is back," he shakes his head and sighs, "But at least we know what we did wrong this time, I still need to get the weathervane back to the roof of the building as well."
   
Krisha nods" That will likely be..first to fix.." She frowns
   
Velm listens. " How do you think be...best ta get on de roof?" He looks at Krisha and frowns a little, he is not good at any cheering up really " I am sure things will get better lass. Or least...bally well hope so"   

Benar says, "Well we could go up inside the main hall, but it is a hell of a climb, I think I'm the only one who still does that, btu we'd need sparra permission to go up through their loft. Once I arrange that I will make arrangements to go up with a team."

Krisha frowns, " Maybe, maybe not..I know I should have hope, its just hard." She listens and speaks." I can...help speak to the Sparra too, the queen is named Chestnut." She sighs thinking over the last few days." But yeah...Benar is only one that can get up to lofts, I can speak to the queen if she is around the grounds but thatsnot very often."
   
Velm hmmms. " Those sparrow seem to call everything worm, odd language"   
Krisha speaks, " easy enough to learn, you want hard..mole speech I still mess up sometimes but least the foremole is helping me get better at it."   

Benar holds upa hand, "Krisha I can also speak to the Queen, you don't become abbot without learning the dialects of everyone who lives here, hare, mole, sparra, I need to be able to speak to all. But if you could arrange a meeting I would speak with her myself on the matter."   
Velm shrugs." If ya say so lass. " He steps back so they can talk   

Krisha nods," I know Benar and yes, I will if see her or maybe if see her son, he can get her for you." She goes back to thinking and actually smiles a little, " I did find out something a couple days ago Benar you might find interesting and has even helped me..a little anyways, feel..better."
   
Benar turns to look at Krishna, "What is that Krisha dear? Anything that helps you feel better is good," he then glances at Velm, motioning them back, not wanting to exlude them, "Sparras are often contrary in what they call worm, anything that walks on the ground is a worm to them. I might need your help though Velm, if you are here, I can't carry that weathervane on my own."   

Velm says, " I can help carry it yes sur...just let me know when"
   
Krisha smiles still s little. " I learned Squirrelbabe's name, she told me when I was..." she frowns,she had a breakdown and didn't know the dibbun was there at first, she finally speaks ." Dochas....she said it means..hope"   

Velm ears perk a little as he also listens, "Hope....interesting, maybe tis a sign then lass. "   

Benar says, "Will do Velm," He frowns, and turns to Krisha, "I am not sure you should have told us that Krisha.... she has always been so very protective about her name. I ... don't think any of us should use it until she gives us permission to do so" .He nods toward Velm, "Once I speak to the sparra and get permission we'll need a team, mostly to carry ropes and equipments so we can build a hoist in the rafters and pull it up then we'll need ot carry it through the loft."   

Krisha nods, " Maybe, you could always ask or...I could. For now we can just keep it to ourselves as I..don't know if she told anyone else or not, Angela knows as she was there when she told me her name."   
Velm nods. " Alright...least heights don't bother me. Just would say we be careful, clear some snow. "   

Benar says, "I will speak to her soon," he frowns, "I have been creating a bond with her, but I am glad she is opening up to you too Krisha," He nods to Velm, "And I am glad, it is avery long way up to those rafters. I am used to the climb but it can take some people by surprise. For now though I need to get going."

Krisha says, "Maybe you could adopt her Benar." She stands." I may go in too, its getting cold." She starts to go, then goes to hug Benar before heading off to check on the dibbuns."
   
Benar says, "We did talk about that, introducing her to the idea but I am not rushing her on that topic, it would not be the first time I adopted someone. But for now I must go to my office," He nods to the pair and heads off   

Velm says, "Well I have climbed before, the secret is don't look down. " He follows the badger and abbot on inside." I say how close ta dinner time?"   

Krisha sits in her chair and manages a soft chuckle, " An hour"
   
Velm frowns and looks like he lost his best friend." That's forever lass...I may not last that long."   

Krisha nods " Your live" She will make sure he waits, a hare in the kitchens would be bad.
