Hello, everyone!
Alright, something has been set up over at Camp Willow, something which I think everyone will enjoy but will take just a tiny bit of participation on your part. ^^
I know it's sort of hard to find some lighthearted RP these days and, if you're like me, conversation RP can only go so far, as can fighting with everyone you come across (not that I don't mind a good fight...)
Enter The Amazing Race: Redwall Edition!
Hidden in and around Camp Willow are ten map pieces with RP prompts on them. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to find these map pieces and RP their recovery, following the instructions on the piece. The prompts vary from digging through a storage area to crossing a flooded river. I've even thrown some eels in for the brave of heart! These RPs shouldn't take all that long to accomplish and can be done with anyone you can find!
The requirements are simple:
1. Your char should preferably be an otter (because we are, after all, RPing in Camp Willow). For this first one I won't be all that picky because, hey, we need the help. But absolutely no vermin species are allowed within the camp.
2. A minimum of two characters must be involved in each RP. Preferably you aren't RPing with your own alt. ^^
3. Please log your RP as proof that you have found the map piece. In case of two people RPing the discovery of the same map piece, the team to post their RP first will be the winner.
4. It is preferred that you not discover more than two map pieces per day as I would like to allow for as many people as possible to participate in this little game and if you discover everything then what fun is it really?
When you find a puzzle piece, don't pick it up! Look at the piece and decide if that's the RP you want to do right then. If you aren't in the mood for sifting through a ton of junk, don't do that one! If you don't think your char would be able to handle dibbuns, don't do that! Once you've RP'd recovering the piece then you may pick it up and let me know you have it. This way no one else will accidentally do the same RP.
That's it! I'll be keeping track of who discovered which pieces and as soon as all of the pieces are recovered, the individuals who discovered the most map pieces (there will be two winners) will be given the fully completed map to follow. Their reward will be a treasure chest full of valuable IC items (a dagger, a gold ring, heavy cloak, etc) which your char can use however they would like.
The goal of this game is to allow for lighthearted RP that can be done at any point in time during the day with whatever people are logged on. No pressure and no waiting for anyone else to log on and still something to work towards!
Since Camp Willow can be a little bit difficult to find, here are some easy directions to follow: Portal > PEM > N > N > HP > TCW Then just follow the path in towards the main grounds. ^^
Everything is ready to go and you can start at any time!
