What happens if I have to be gone for awhile?

When you know you're going to be gone for more than a few weeks (42 days is six weeks) please notify Chief (currently Otter) via page-mail with the list of characters you'd like to avoid the idle-purge and the date you'll be back.
The wizards will then protect those characters from the purge until that date.
Don't try to be clever and keep pushing out the protection period so you can play less. It will be noticed because of the record-keeping.
This is especially useful for our active duty military players -- deployments can keep them offline for months at a time.
So, when you'll be gone with no access, please let us know! We'll take care of your characters while you're gone so you can return to them.
