The Lutenist Remerges
Characters: Aikuen, Amy, Robin

Moledeep: Mole Hall
Aikuen is in Mole Hall today. He is sitting in one of the big ole armchairs to the side of hall. He has got both otters right now. Aik is watching them, giving Fira time to nap. She needs it. Been up a lot lately. Aik grins and pokes each one on the nose, "Gotcha noses..." They are laying on their stomach next to him, blinking at him and grring quietly. Their rudders like flag poles. Still need to work on their motor skills.
Amethyst comes in from the sleeping hall. She's been keeping to herself a lot lately even after getting a new lute. She goes first to the table and feels around its edge to orient herself with the room and starts toward the kitchen seemingly unware of the otters in the room.
Aikuen does hear Amy come in, and he just remains quiet at the moment. Ella has another idea in mind though. When she see the new beast, she points her head and screeches then grrs. Venei, also looks toward Amy and grrs as well. Aik sighs and pinches both of their rudders, "Silly otters... Its just Amy..."
Amethyst's head turns toward the screeching babe. "... I thought only the Abbey had otterfoxes," she remarks.
Aikuen tilts his head, not getting what she meant at all. He shrugs and slowly pats the top of Ella's head, calming her a little bit, "You mean Flicky?" he asks, as he moves his paw to stroke Venei.
"I think she means Racky." Says a voice of an entering stoat. Its Robin. Robin hasn't met Racky but has been told all about him. Mostly.

Amethyst nods, "Yeah, little fox goldfish color I'm told very loud and rarely here." Amy had met Racky and her walking stick had met him a few times, though mostly unintentionally, so the dibbun quickly got into the habit of avoiding her.
Aikuen is still not getting it. Might as well give up, "Er... okay?" he shrugs, "Anyway... Heya Robin! 'Lo Amy" he hmms, and winces as Ella decided it was eating time of Aik claw.
Amethyst says, "There was a screeching thing that very likely is not the fox."
Aikuen nods, "Aye it was just Ella... being herself... She has never seen you before..." Ella grrs lightly and grips Aiks claw while biting the crud out of it. Venei blinks and looks up at Robin, and blinks her green green eyes.
Robin chuckles at the blinking eyes and smiles, nodding slowly to the little otter, giving a wave before making a really silly, stoaty face. "Heheh. Which one is which?" he asks. "Dad hasn't told me yet." he nods once.
Amy shrugs, "I hear they have different colored eyes, but th easier way is - Ella's the evil one."
Aikuen frowns at Amy, and his voice is slightly raised, "She is not evil! ... She just has a temper... Thats all!" he hmphs and takes a deep breath, going to hold Ella in his arms. His voice is normal now, though rushed, "This is Ella. She is the one with brown eyes... Venei" he rubs said little otters head with his free paw, "She is the one with green eyes... and my ears..." he scratches right behind them. She closes her eyes and grrs quietly
Robin chuckles quietly. "If anyone here is the evil one its me. I am after all the oldest vermin here." he smirks a little before reaching out to ruffle the little one's fur some. "Hehe. They seem so...so...little!" he laughs.
Amethyst smiles, "I wasn't insulting her. Any size difference between them now isn't necessarily going to remain the same and I can't help it if I can't see their eyes." Amy's moves her chair around so she can better face the others, looks like she won't be going to the kitchen after all. "Are you, how old /are/ you?" she asks the stoat.
Venei grrs quietly and moves her head into his paw. Ella has let go of Aiks claw going to hold onto his fur. Not pull it, just hold onto it. She has stopped grring, "They are little now..." Aikuen answers, "But they will be bigger... Though Venei wont be as tall as her sister..." He glance to Amy and almost scoffs, almost, "Sounded like it..." he hmms, and shrugs. Ella yawns quietly.
Robin chuckles a little. "Bale said, long ago before he died, that I grew so fast it was like going to sleep one night and waking up to find me to big for the crib he had made." he laughs a little before looking to Amy. "Almost nine seasons." he replies. "Dad's still older though." he seems to have settled with calling Kentar dad without feeling weird now.
Amethyst nods, "Ah. .... Who are you again?" She tends to get beasts confused unless they're the only one around with a certain accent. It makes it hard to keep track of who's talking in large groups.
Aikuen chuckles lightly at Robin, "Grow fast eh?" he picks up Venei in his other arm, and nods to each beast in the room, "I'm going to put these little babes to sleep... Tell Kentar thanks for the crib. I know i have said it like a million times... but still... See yah Robin..." he nods to the ratmaid, "Amy..." and he walks off for the sleeping hall. Ella is quiet, but Venei is still slightly grring.
The stoat laughs and scratches his ear. "I'm Robin. The lovable step son to Garnet?" he laughs before nodding. "Yeah. We all sound a like. Dad and me I mean." he chuckles
Amethst blinks, "Lovable? That wasn't my first impression. ... Oh, your Chris an Kluna's brother. One that help keep them in line. Don't really see you as much as your brothers."
Robin laughs. "Yeah. Well." he rubs the back of his head. "I'm still feeling bad about that first impression thing." he nods. "Anyways. No. I've been..." he thinks. "Away for a while." The stoat nods once.
You say, "Ok. Well if you hadn't heard, I'm Chris and Kluna's aunt Amy. And I am going to the kitchen now."
Robin laughs and nods. "We've met...a few times!" the stoat chuckles, shaking his head slowly. "I'm going to bed." he says, standing. "Long trip." he says as he heads for the sleeping hall. "Night Amy."
