Setting Sail: On the Sea Again

Aboard the Golden Pike
Its been a day now since Seb passed out on the cliff top. The group have returned to the ship and Sebastian is lying in the infirmary right now, still out like a light, and it looks like he'll be that way for a little while. Kentar is alone right now. Alone at the front of the ship, looking out at the water, looking almost sad.
And Aik has been doing his captainly duties. Waiting for the boat to get underway once more on the briny sea. So he walks around the deck. Pointing things out to one or two crew members. Before he sees the stoat. He waves off the others before walking over to Kentar, "Hey Mate. Why the long face?" Trying to cheer him up a bit.
Kentar hums a little and ohs, looking towards Aik for a few moments before back to the sea. "Sebastian saved my life." he nods. "If he hadn't have thrown me off the bridge and onto the other side...I'd not have realized to grab the bridge...I'd be dead..." he sighs. "And now he's lying in the infirmary unconscious. I feel horrible."
Aikuen hums and nods a bit. Patting the stoat on the shoulder before going to stands next to him. Going to look at the sea as well, "I know. I was there..." he sighs, "So aye. But when he gets up. How about..." he rubs at his chin, "Why don't you make him something. As, you know. A thank you. For saving ye." he smiles and nods, "And Seb will be just fine. And he is only in the infirm cause he is too stubborn to listen to me. Hes gotta take it east till he gets his blood back..."
In a room page-pose, Kentar randomly appears again!
The stoat nods a little and looks to the sea again. "Yeah..." he nods a little bit. "But still. I feel horrible." he sighs. "I feel bad about Mort too. He was a nice hedgehog...just...a little loopy."
Aikuen ahs nods nods, patting him once more, "Well. Think about it this way... We just... Put an end to his suffering... I was thinking about rescuing the poor fellow... Off this island... But he was dangerous... This was of course before we... Well" he hums a bit.
Kentar nods slowly and hums a little to himself. "Yeah." the stoat thinks. "At least when Seb collided with him, I'm pretty sure that every bone in his body was shattered...so maybe he died instantly...that would have been nice." he nods.
Aikuen kinds creases his face. Remembering the sound it make, "Ehhh... Yeah. I think so mate. It was clean kill." he nods a bit more, "It sure sounded like ti anyway..." he cringes a bit before sighing, "We did a good thing mate..."
Kentar nods slowly a little and sighs, leaning over the railing. "Yeah.' he hums a little bit as he shrugs a little. "I still feel bad for him." before he chuckles a little. "But the good news is...at least we know Seb's on our side after all." he chuckles.
Aikuen nods slowly, "Aye. Me too. But this too shall pass soon enough..." he chuckles a bit and then laughs, "Too true mate. He risked his life to save your. That's a one-hundred percent in my book. Even if he doesn't listen to what i say..." he frowns a bit before snorting.
Kentar hums a little and laughs, tilting his head. "What do you mean even if he doesn't listen? What did he ignore?" he asks, tilting his head.
Aikuen laughs, "The Only reason why the old lump is in the infirm. Cause he wont listen to me about taking it easy. Or else he would be out and about... the lug."
Kentar huhs and blinks. "How can he listen to you if he's out like a light?" he asks, tilting his head before shrugging and chuckling. "Ah...well. I'm sure he'll be fine there..."
Aikuen chuckles and shakes his head, "Do you know WHY he is out like a light? Cause he thinks he is invincible and can do all the things he used too. Not until he gets back his blood im afraid." The badger did walk to the ship. No amount of beasts could just carry him.
Kentar hums a little and nods. "Yeah...but he had to walk...there was no way we could have gotten him here otherwise..." he hums a little and frowns.
Aikuen nods, "Aye. And i was okay with that. Had no choice... Its when he decided to help carry on the water barrels that kinda... Well. Lets just say we are a negative a barrel at the momment." he laughs.
Kentar frowns at Aik and just nods. "He's a badger you know." he nods. "You really should give him more credit." he nods. "If it had have been you or I who hit our head like that, we'd probably have died..." he nods.
Aikuen hums and frowns back, "Aye. I know he is a badger Kentar. AND Aye. I know if it was me or you. It would have killed us. I know. But if i had a similar injury. I would take it easy... Probably have you guys do all my chores! Not lift a claw unless had too."
Kentar arches an eyebrow. "You do that anyways." he nods with a laugh as he sits down, leaning against the rail. "But still. He, in his eyes, can do everything he wants to injured or not..." he nods. "Its a badger thing."
Aikuen was about to say something in rebuttal. But how can he, to the truth. So he smirks as he pats the stoat, "I learned from the beast eh?" he grins as he nods at the next thing, "So ive heard. But maybe the confinement to the infirm well get him all better before we send him back in the world again..." he looks around a bit, "I haven't heard much from boomer lately. See him once in a while... And i know he sleeps in the hold..." he hums.
Kentar hums a little and nods with a smirk. "Yeah." he hums then. "Well...since Seb is out...we should break out our spare badger until Seb is better." he chuckles.
Aikuen chuckles as he takes out his dagger and runs it underneath his claw, "Perhaps. Though i don't know how to get a badger up here." he smirks, "Do you use food? Money? Women? Your guess is as good as mine mate." he chuckles.
Kentar hums a bit and laughs loudly at the women. "Where are you going to find any badger females?" He asks with a smirk. "You can dress Fira up if you want, but I prefer Garnet not dead..." he nods.
Aikuen laughs as well, "I dont Think Fira is Boomers type. Garnet on the other hand..." he chuckles as he shakes his head, "I wonder how DO you get a badger from out of a... Well. Im gonna call it a badger Funk." he hums as he looks at the deck now.
Kentar hums a little bit and shrugs. "Not sure really." he hums. "The women idea would work for me if I were a badger...and not married..." he hums with a chuckle, standing up with a yawn.
Aikuen snorts and laugh, "Well Aye. Me too mate" winky wink, "But where can we get a fembadger. Im sure they just don't sell them down at the local market place... In the middle of the ocean." he laughs.
Kentar chuckles a little bit and hums a bit. "Heh...the only one who still could...would be Robin! He's not married yet..." he hums a little bit with a nod. "And Chris...but Chris is not old enough yet..." he chuckles with a hum.
Aikuen chuckles, "Well. Maybe we get lucky. The next island we hit is supposed to be a port island. So there will be stuff. And hey. Badgery goodness... Maybe." he chuckles.
Kentar hums a little and then laughs. "I'm not betting this time about Seb or Boomer finding someone to fall for...I lost out big time last time." he frowns.
Aikuen laughs and stick out his tongue, "TeeHee... Thats what you get. See. You are MAGICAL!" he snorts and laughs, "But yeah. We will see... If not. Maybe i can persuade him to at least play some cards with us or something."
Kentar hums a little bit. "Boomer? Haha, I doubt it." he smirks a bit. "Sebastian...you'd have to...pry him away from his own room." he laughs.
Aikuen laughs, "Badgers are like that i guess... Well. Maybe i can... Or.. Well. Ill try something. Mark my words i will." he snorts as he replaces his dagger, "So... Ready to move on then?" he asks.
Kentar hums a little bit and tilts his head slightly. "Yeah...probably." he hums. "So...what will you try?" he chuckles a bit before nodding. "Yeah. I'm ready...I want to get as far away from Mort as I can...dead or otherwise." he nods.
Aikuen shrugs, "I dont know... Somehting. Even if i have to... Be a ghost or something." he laughs. He then nods as he motions to head for the stern, "Alright then... come on me First mate. Lets get this show on the road... Er... Sea." he snorts
Kentar chuckles quietly and nods as he follows. "Sounds good to me, captain!" he chuckles with a smile, nodding to himself, quite happy again. Sort of.
Aikuen winks at the stoat, "Good Good. Get the sail in bloom. And ill get the ship turned around..." as the otter starts to yell out orders to other crews. As he starts the climb the stern deck. Awaiting for the ship to dislodge itself from the sandy beaches.
