Pond Otters
Characters: Aikuen, Robin, Fira, Will
Location: Moledeep
Moledeep: Mole Hall
Aikuen, after a bit, comes back from in the kitchen with Venei, and a bowl of a porridge. Spiked with honey of course. Venei is giggling loudly. She has a few splatters of the mixture on her. Aikuen's head fur, is just splattered with it. Seems like she was having fun with the creation of lunch. Aikuen eyes her as he goes to sit at the table.
"You're supposed eat your food, not wear it, Aikuen." Robin chuckles when he looks up from his book as he sees the otters come into the hall. "Although, it makes you look better." he laughs.
Fira is just coming in with Ella, carefully balancing the babe while she walks the door and at the same time has to keep bent over since Ella's got hold of her necklace. She's very quietly trying to tell Ella not to break it when she spots Aik, Venei and Robin. Aha! Distraction "Look Ella! It's your sister and everyone
The stoat chuckles and nods slowly. "Dad says its a good thing to make fun of you, Aik." Robin chuckles again before looking towards Fira and Ella, waving with a quiet chuckle at the tugging.
Fira continues to slouch over to the table till she can flop in a chair and put Ella on the table while she flops her head onto the table next to the babe "I'm being held hostage by my jewelry..." she looks Aik over and smirks faintly "You look like a mess. Was that Venei or Robin's doing? Just want to know who gets the praise"
Aikuen snorts to Robin, "Yah.. well... dont make a habit out of it..." he chuckles, and looks over to Fira, shoving her playfully, "It was Venei... decided it would look better on me, then to be eatin... And apparently Robin agrees..." he shoots him a glance.
Robin laughs and eyes the glancing otter. "But its true!" he laughs, setting back into his chair a little with a grin.
Fira rests her chin on the table, trying to be comfy before she sticks her tongue out at Aik for the shove "Well I'm with them and I'm sure Ella would agree too. It's four against one. You're outnumbered"
Aikuen frowns and eyes all of them in turn, "You are all so mean... Well... there is only one way i can think to resolve this... If I'm covered..." he reaches over to the bowl and scoops up a small amount with his paws, and plops it on Fira's head, "There... I think that's much better!" he laughs.
Robin looks up and watches Aik put some of that on Fira, the stoat bursting into laughter, dropping his book and almost falling out of his chair.
Ella kind of flops away, letting go of the necklace at last. After a blink or two she starts to giggle though and get her paws in it so now she's messy too. Fira scrunches her eyes shut and doesn't seem to respond for a moment before she finally calmly sits up and removes the bowl from her head, placing it on the table as she scarily calmly says "You have a five second head start. Use it wisely. Five."
Aikuen was laughing until her voice breaks through. His eyes go very wide like saucers and he almost hops up from his chair, "Oh crap!" he ergs and starts to scoot back from the table toward the entrance. Ready to run at a moments notice.
Robin grins and watches Aik, the stoat quietly slipping up to block off the door. "Get him Fira!" The stoat laughs and grins evilly. He does that evil grin quite well, actually.
"Four, three, two" Fira's up and stepping on her chair to climb onto the table. At "One" she strides over the table, jumps down on the other side, charges Aik and goes to leap and tackle him while he's trying to get away. Having kids has not slowed her down apparently.
Aikuen waits until she starts to charge him, before doing a full turn around and trying to head out to the outside. OH CRAP! There is a stoat in the way. He would normally just shove him out of the way. But he cant think correctly right now. He turns quickly to the right and tries to run toward the sleeping hall, " Oh crap! Oh Crap!... Ufff!" he gets tackled and is slammed to the ground, "Owie!" he is not hurt, just had the breath knocked out of him.
Robin falls over, laughing as hard as he can, the stoat not ever seeing Fira move like that before, rolling around, gripping his stomach, laughing. He seems to be quite entertained. "Where...where...where is dad when...hahahahaha...he's missing...this!"
Fira finally laughs but it's because she's started trying to rub her porridgey hair into Aik's face "You say you're sorry!" not that she'll see it but this is revenge!
Aikuen ergs and tries to get the porridge out of his face, so he can at least see, "ARGH! MY FACE, IS NOT A NAPKIN!" he chuckles, and ergs, "NO! I will not! You cant make me!"
Robin laughs a little bit. He stands up and sits down somewhere where there's porridge next to him. Just incase. The stoat laughs and slowly shakes his head, keeping an eye on the little otters but watching the big ones too.
Fira can't see what Aik's saying but she's not done torturing him yet and she just assumes he'd say no...so she continues to cover him in porridge, get it off of her anyway "Say it!" the mini-otters seem happy still and well, they've got porridge to play with as well.
Aikuen continues to erg, and eventually gets one paw around her wrist, "No! Heh! I will not. Its my right!" he laughs and starts to slowly push her off and to one side. Aiks face is covered in the sticky mixture. Like a funny looking snowotter.
Fira still doesn't give up when her wrist's grabbed and she's pushed. She actually hurries up her attack, get him as much as possible cause she knows she's not going to be able to reach in a minute.
Aikuen actually gets some of the porridge in his mouth, and he shakes it from him, "Argh!... Okay... That's it!" She is right, it wont last long. He grins and pushes her wrist back and places his leg over her own, pinning it to the ground and using it as a pivot point. He flips over and places his other leg over other leg, and holding her wrist above her head, successfully pining her to the ground, except for her other paw which is still free. The porridge mixture drops slowly from his face, "Hey..." he grins evilly, from inside the stickiness.
Fira eeps when he flips over and then she's the one pinned. She just sticks her tongue out at him "You started it"
Aikuen sticks his tongue right back at her, "Yah well... You made fun of me... Just sharing the fun..." he chuckles and shakes more of the porridge from him, though its still over him.
Robin smirks at them. "You know, I can watch the twins when you two aren't if you want." the stoat chuckles a little bit.
Fira goes to give him a shove, prompt him to let her up. She grins "Terrible influence for the kids you are" of course tackling is probably a worse one.
Aikuen snorts and shakes his head, "Just simple fun!" he chuckles at the shove, and leans down to kiss her. Nice, long... and very porridgey. He grins and noses her before getting up and holding a paw out to her, to help her up.
Robin chuckles at them before starting to play with the twins quietly.
Fira mmms quietly at the kiss and mmm for honey and porridge taste. She laughs quietly and shoos him away after she's back on her paws again "All in need of baths now"
Aikuen grins, snorts, and nods all at once "Righto Fi!" he wipes of bit of it, that got in his eye, "Heh..." he goes over and picks up Ella, who is covered in porridge and is loving it!, "Meet you out in the pond?" he asks. Ella giggle and grabs some of it that's in Aik's fur.
Robin chuckles at the otters and watches as Aik picks Ella up. "Heheh. Enjoy cleaning them up Aikuen." he smiles before leaning back in his chair, opening up his book again and starting to read.
Fira rolls her eyes and goes to pick up Venei, give her a little poke on the nose "All your fault this is" sounds rather happy and amused though "Care to help Robin? Or are you happy with your book?"
Aikuen scrunches his nose at Fira, "It is not! I was just being myself!" he pouts and laughs, "I will... Unless you want to come?"
Robin huhs and looks up, smiling a little bit. "Uhm. Sure!" he smiles, setting his book down before standing up. "I wouldn't mind helping." the stoat nods
Fira chuckles quietly at Aikuen as she walks off for the door "Yourself seems to make a lot of mess. Come one then Robin. Promise I won't be the one to knock you in the pond" she can just tell Aik to.
Aikuen smiles and walks on after her, Ella tugging on his fur. He laughs quietly, "Heh..." getting the feeling, he is going to be asked. He nudges playfully Fira before speeding up his pace, and he is GONE!
Moledeep: Dibbuns Garden
Will is laying on his back on the little hill that marks the middle of the Dibbun's Garden, his eye is closed and he doesn't see the others approaching though he can hear them
Aikuen cant help but smiling at Fira at her little chant. He leans over and plants a long one on her neck. Yes, he can walk, kiss, AND hold the little one... All at the same time! Ella grrs and pulls on his chest fur. He smirks at her, "Owie you little nutkin..." His eyes do catch Will in the corners, but he just ignores him for now. Maybe sleeping. He heads over to one of the shallows, and plops on the side, waiting for Fira to Join him.
William was napping but the otters aren't very quiet. "Going swimming?" he asks not bothering to open his eye or move if he doesn't have to.
Fira would be quieter if she knew Will was there and trying to sleep but no such luck yet. She waves Aik off after the kiss, going to bat him on the nose, blow a raspberry at him. She's just being childish for the kids and she's laughing again a second later
William says, "There's this wonderful invention called a wash tub you know. In fact there's one in th kitchen. It'll probably get more use when th pond freezes over."
Aikuen shrugs a little bit, "Well after we clean them... Why not play with them? This will be their first time in a water source..." he grins, "And we otters after all!" he winks at Fira. Who rolls her eyes and waits for Aik to wet Ella first.
William still hasn't moved much, even after Robin sits down by him. He did open his eye and turn his head to see what beast had sat down but then he lays back down.
Aikuen watches the other two before starting to hum a small song. He holds up Ella into the sky and smiles at her, "Ella Tazan... My little Darling..." he brings her back down and licks the top of her head. Dried porridge and all, and then rubs the top of her head against his. He holds her in one arm, while taking his other paw and scooping up a bit of water. He pours it slowly over her back. She screeches quietly and grrs as the water hit her back for the first time. Aik grins at this, "You are going to be some river otter one day!" he laughs, and pours a bit more.
Robin looks up to Will and gives a little bit of greeting nod. "Hey Will." he greets before looking to Ella and Aik, chuckling quietly. He leans back on his elbows and continues to read.
"Hi," the rat says yawning still not bothering to get up. He chuckles a little hearing Ella's screech. "Oh, you know you like th water silly. You're a pikefish and fish like water, Ella."
William opens his eye and sits up to see what mischief Ella's causing now. "Thought you were gonna do that at th river. Guess she couldn't wait," he laughs.
Aikuen picks her up and walks over to Fira. He smirks at Will, "Yah well... She needed to be cleaned... and well... I will still wet her in the river... just not today..." he nods, "But it seems like she took to it very well. For her first time." Fira smirks at him.
William nods, "I'm sure she did. How'd Venei do?"
Aikuen goes and plops down next to Fira, cradling Ella, who is starting to doze off, "We are about to find out..." he looks to Fira and nods. She takes a deep breath, and wades into the shallows, sitting where Aik was sitting. She holds up venei and says, "Venei Tazan... OUR darling..." she gives a glance to Aik, who said 'my'. She kisses the top of her head, before placing her in her other arm, and scoops up a bit of water, and pours it over Venei's back. Venei screeches a lot louder than Ella, but soon is grring like Ella
William folds his ears back a little but he's getting used to the screeching. He watches as Fira pours water on Venei and wait for her to let the littlest otter free in the pond.
Venei grrs quietly and hmms as she gets to the water. Fira doesn't hear the screeching, but can tell that she is. She hugs her tightly before looking over to Aik. Aik nods, "Its okay...." Fira takes another deep breath before placing her slowly in the water. And lets go. Venei blinks as she is let go, and struggles. But before Fira goes and picks her up, her otter skills soon kick in and she is away, grring and giggling just as hard as she can. Fira plucks her from the water, and heads back over to Aik, and frowns at him. Aik blinks, "She did swim... See... Everything is alright" She still frowns at him.
William blinks as well, "What's wrong?" It looked to have gone well from where he's sitting.
Aikuen sighs and looks back to Will, "Venei didn't take as well as Ella..." which he kinda expected, "But she did still swim... And she swam like a pike... isn't that right darling... " she smirks at him, before bouncing the little one in her arms. Aik sighs and nudges her lovingly, "Its over okay... She is a great swimmer..." She sighs and nudges him back.
William hmms, "But she was laughin' as much as Ella. I thought she was doing good."
Aikuen smiles and nods, "Aye... She loves swimming... just had to get the hang of it... just a little slower than her sister I guess... She is fine. And she loved it..." more to Fira than to Will. Fira smirks at him and sighs, as Venei begins to doze in her arms.
William says, "She's also not as bitey as her sister."
Aikuen nods a little bit, "That's also true... but she is still bitey... all the same. Even though they look the same... they are different... Which is good!" he grins and slowly strokes the head of Ella
William says, "Yeah. It'd be really boring if all otters were th same."
Aikuen chuckles, "Aye! Then where would all the fun be... This place would be such a snooze" he nudges Fira, and laughs. Aik grins, "TeeHee! Twins... but not identical..." he sighs.
Robin has long since wandered off with his book.
