Moledeep: Infirmary

Christopher has been kept out of the infirmary so that he wouldn't get what Ella had, even though he was older then her. The stoats worried too much. But now, having escaped their care, he wanders in and heads up to Robin, the sleeping stoat near the back not noticing, even though his cold was better now. Chris hmphs a little and looks around to see if anyone else is still here

William had eventually returned to Moledeep one night and since nearly everybeast had took to the infirmary for one reason or another he'd ended up curling with Amy on her cot near the otters. It had been very late when he'd come in and nobeast had said anything when he'd laid down so he assumed they'd all been asleep.

The otters are still here. That's for sure. Ella has made a miraculous recovery and is doing much better. She is up, snacking on an apple slice. Where she got the apple is still a question. But there it is. Fira holds up a slice near her, and Ella reaches out and grabs for it. Gnawing on it slowly. Her big ole brown eyes blinks slowly as she grrs and eats the apple.

Aik is sitting next to Fira, his head on her shoulder. Seemed to be watching his little one. And Venei is laying in his lap. But they both seem to be asleep. Fira just smirks and feeds Ella.

Chris peeks at Ella and Fira, watching the two otters for a bit before making his way over, smiling like his father... in other words...like an idiot! "Heya!" he greets the two with a bright smile.

"Ker-nuckle! Ker-nuckle!" Ella continues on when Chris sits on the bed and she moves over, closer to him. Fira smirks, "She thinks your name is this 'Ker-nuckle'..." she looks into Ella's eyes and heavily mouths and says, "Chris. Chris..." "Ker-nuckle-s!" Fira shakes her head and chuckles, "She is doing just wonderful..."

Aik slowly blinks. As it was quiet. Now loud with Ella, Chris, and Fira talking, "Hrm?" he yawns.

Chris watches Aik wake up, smiling a little bit. "Heya Aik!" he smiles, the stoat waving once or twice before looking back to Fira. "Good! Noes fun being sick." he shakes his head a few times.

Aikuen rubs his eyes with his free paw, "Hmmm.... Hey... Chris..." he yawns long before wrapping his arms around Fira and flopping against her, "Morning..." Fira smirks and places the apple core in front of his nose, "Hey Aik. Wake up time is here!" she chuckles before tuning back to Chris, "No... Being sick is no fun... It never really is..." she shakes her head and sighs.

Chris chuckles a little bit and watches the otters before tilting his head a little, shaking his head again. "Robin was sick." he nods. "But he's better now too!" he smiles again. He doesn't know why that mouse healer was here. Or is still here. Or whatever.

Aikuen blinks again and nudges the core, knocking it off and onto on the bed.

Fira smirks and takes his paw roughly but lovingly, "Making a mess, dear"

"Sorry... didn't see it!" he chuckles and looks over to Chris, "I'm glad he is... We owe him a lot..." he hrms and sneak attack kisses Fira. Who blinks and hmms lightly. Tillim is still here. Just been hanging around mostly, not being a bother. Seems like he doesn't want to go back to the abbey lickety split it seems.

Chris tilts his head a little the other way now. "Why do you owe him anything?" he asks, sounding a little confused, his tail flicking behind him in an odd way, though he doesn't seem to know.

Ella finishes off her slice and she looks around, barking at things. Like normal young otters do. At least Aik and Fira know that. After the slightly longer than meant to be kiss, Fira flops against him now. Aik smiles softly before looking back to Chris, "Robin went to go get Tillim. The mouse healer from Redwall. The mouse that has been around hanging. Robin, with the getting of the healer. Might have saved Ella's life..." Thought the stoats would have told Chris all this.

Christopher never really asked or cared that there was another beast around the place. "Mm...Okay." he nods a little, looking back to the otters after having turned away during the kiss.

Aikuen smiles and nods, "Aye then." he yawns once more before laying his head on top of Fira's. Ella is still barking at things. And she turns back to Fira, who watches back. Venei is still asleep. Out like a light it seems. So Ella decides to crawl over into Aiks lap, "Vee-nee..." she hrms softly and curls up next to Venei.

Chris watches the two littler otters, giggling a little bit. "Hehe." he tilts his head a little. "Were I ever like that?" he asks. He's older now then he was, but still pretty young, wondering if he looked that silly when he was THAT young.

Ella giggles quietly and whacks Venei lightly with her rudder, "Vee-nee!" Venei awakes slowly and looks up at her sister, "Ellers..." she grrs and whacks her back with her own rudder. All in good fun. So the parents allow it. Aik tilts his head at Chris, "Im not sure if you were that silly. We are otters. And they get their silliness from me!" Fira rolls her eyes and nudges him with her elbow. Aik grins, "Have to ask your parents for a full scoop!"

Chris oohs a little and nods a bit, looking at Venei and Ella again, giggling slightly before shaking his head at their sillyness. "Silly otters." he nods before standing, looking around and grinning at the sight of sleeping rats. He slowly goes over and pokes Will in the side before ducking under the bed.

William blinks at his sisters, "They know each other's names but probably still can't say ours," he chuckles sleepily he hasn't been awake very long it looks like. He ignores the poke and waits to see if the poking beast will reemerge.

Aikuen winks at Chris, "We cant help it!" before rubbing the top of each of his daughters head, "One for you... And one for you... And can't forget about you!" he chuckles and rubs the tops of Fira head. She precedes to elbow him with a smirk. Aik grins and goes in for another kiss. Yes. The odd and silly Tazan otter family.

Chris peeks out from under the bed, reaching out without showing himself, going to poke Amy's side this time.

That may prove difficult since Will has his arms looped around the maid's middle and he's keeping his eye out for any little nephews that may be poking at sleeping beasts.

Chris frowns a little and peeks up over the bed to see if he can find somewhere to poke Amy, and if he can't, he goes to poke Will's arm again.

William snuggles Amy's sleeping form as he keeps watch for sneaky dibbuns. When the little stoat pokes his arm he quickly tries to grab for Chris' paw or arm. Should his littlest nephew be too fast for him he'll try playing that he's sleeping for a while and see if he can catch the stoat later.

Christopher blinks and ahs a little as William grabs his arm. "No! No fair!" he frowns. "Your cheating!" but after a little bit of frowning and complaining, he starts laughing and giggling.

William grins and tugs on the stoat's arm lightly, "Get up here you little rouge. What's this business of poking at your poor ol uncle now?" he laughs trying to sound older than his seven seasons.

Chris stands and keeps trying to frown, not wanting to laugh or giggle. "I'm bored. Uncle has to play." he nods. He doesn't quite get why his uncle is a rat and not a stoat, but he's been around for just as long as Kentar has, and Garnet has, so he doesn't ask why.

William pretends to frown and gives an overly heavy sigh as if the idea of playing with the little stoat were so weighty an issue, "I do? ... What do you want to play, Chris."

Christopher hrms a little and thinks a little for a moment. He didn't think that would work. "Hide 'n seek...tag!" he nods once or twice, grinning now.

William asks, "Well which is it?"

Chris takes a little bit to decide before grinning. "Tag!" he nods. "Yes. Tag!" The little stoat backs off with a nod before tapping Will. "Your it!" and then he takes off.

William climbs down off the bed begrudgingly and walks over to the door and just stands there. "Hold it you," he calls after Chris, "Where's th boundaries at? Need t know that fore we start."

Chris pauses. "No...boundaries?" he calls out, not sure what a boundary is. But he shrugs and starts running again.

William frowns for real this time, "There has t be boundaries or you'll get in trouble again for wandering off." He chews on his lip a moment, "We need to figure out where we can play and where we can't. Cause you can't just run anywhere or you'll get in trouble. ... Can't really play tag inside too well but if we go outside we have t stay in th gardens and around there."

Chris chews his lip and frowns, stopping, hoping Will isn't trying to trick him into being it. "Gardens then." he nods. "Can we go there now?

William nods, "Sure but if you leave the gardens when we're playing the game'll be over understand?"

Christopher nods. "Alright." he says, running off towards the hall, heading for the gardens.

William follows the stoat out being sure to grab his cloak on the way as Chris tires to run through the snow. The rat shakes his head and chuckles softly following a bit slower til they reach the gardens.

Moledeep: Dibbuns Garden

Chris had ran out ahead of Will, gaining speed until he hits the snow, slowing down and shivering a little. Too cold really to be outside and play tag. But he doesn't care. He pauses only to pull on his jacket and the boots his dad got him before dashing into the snow.

William shakes his head again at the little stoat as he follows him off to the dibbuns garden. "If you get too cold we'll go in an sit by th fire, ok?" he calls over to Chris.

Christopher pulls a heavy and warm hat over his ears that was in his sleeve, and even the mitts that were there, to keep his paws warm. He's all bundled up, and all by himself. Though he has a little trouble with the zipper. But he manages to get it up after some trying. "Okay." he nods before starting to run, grinning. "Your it!" he nods.

"I know I'm it. Just remember if you leave the dibbuns garden the games over," Will grins over at his nephew before bounding through the snow toward him. The rat knows how to move through the snow quickly as this is his second winter in Mossflower.

Chris nods. "Yeah, yeah, just...ee!" he blinks as he dashes out of the way of the rat, grinning. "Hehe! Slow! You can't catch me." he starts to run in some random direction.

Chris may be right but Will is trying more to tire the stoat out then to catch him.

Chris grins and then dashes behind a tree that's in the garden, peeking out to see if the rat is going to come after him.

William jogs in a wide arch toward the tree arms out to grab his nephew should he not be fast enough to get away.

Chris hums and watches Will then eeps loudly, dropping down into the snow so that hopefully he'll trip William up and send him flying so that he can get away. If not. He's it.

Will slows down as the stoat seems to disappear. He kneels to scoop up a small amount of snow before continuing on to the tree and if the stoat is still there dropping the snow on his head

Chris huhs a little bit as the snow hits his head, quickly sitting up and shuddering. "Heeey! That's cheating!" he frowns and looks around, grabbing some snow and throwing it back at Will.

"Is it now? Hiding isn't part of the game either," Will grins letting the snow hit him as he reaches out to tap the stoat so he can be it.

The stoat frowns and grrs a little when he's tapped. He grabs another big pawful of snow and throws it. If he's not careful it could turn into a snowball fight. But then he jumps to his footpaws and reaches out to try and tap Will so that he'll be it again.

William throws more snow at the stoat and reaches up for a low tree branch to get out of stoat range for little while.

Chris eeks a little as he's hit again, hiding on the other side of the tree once more as he starts to make up snow balls. Some just crumble at his touch while others are almost perfect.

William watches Chris from overhead in the tree, his tail wrapped around the branch for support and to keep it out of reach of little paws that may try to pull on it. "I don't think we're playing tag anymore. We'll have t think of a new name for this game," he comment lazily.

Chris huhs and looks up at Will before grinning. "Snowball fight!" he grins, grabbing one of the nice snow balls he made before throwing it at William as hard as he can.

William takes it hard in the chest as he wasn't quite ready for it. He wobbles some but keep a firm grip on the tree branch. "Hey!"

Chris grins and laughs, launching another snowball at his uncle, before darting off to hide some place that he can throw snowballs.

William is hit again, it's hard for him to dodge without risking falling out of the tree. The rat scans the garden for the stoat but he can't see him. Thinking he's just not high enough to spot the stoat he climbs up higher in the tree and looks for Chris again.

As soon as Will gets high enough, three or four snowballs make their way towards the rat again, Chris launching them as fast as he's making them. Which is surprisingly fast. He's behind the next tree over, still in the garden.

William still can't see Chris, but judging from the direction of the snowballs coming at him the stoat hadn't gone far. Will's too high up to be hit and the snowballs brake apart when they hit the branches below the rat. However the branches Will is holding onto are quite thin and they sway whenever the tree is hit. The rat holds on tightly to his perch accidentally snapping off a few of the twigs he's clinging to.

Chris blinks when he hears the snap of the branches, looking up at Will and tilting his head. "Maybe...you should climb down." he calls out with a nod.

"I'm gonna get down," Will calls back down to the stoat, "But I need you to not throw anymore snowballs at me til I'm on the ground again, alright?"

Chris nods quickly and watches, dropping the snowball and tilting his head. "Alright!" he calls out, sitting down and watching

William nods a little, "Good. I'll ... I'll be down before too long." The rat begins to climb down very slowly. He's fairly good at climbing up it's the climbing down that's always given him the most trouble. He has to test the strength of each branch before putting weight on it as he makes his way down.

Christopher gasps a little every time Will checks the branches beneath him, closing his eyes at one point, almost sure the branch would break. But there was no screaming or plummeting to death, just slow climbing.

There is little reason for Will to think the same branches he climbed up are now significantly weaker just because he's climbing down but he'd rather be sure they'll hold him then trust to blind faith. He slumps down to sit on a thick low branch the only thing below him now is the snow covered garden. "You alright, Chris?" he calls over finally seeing the stoat.

Chris peeks out from under his eyelids and phews a little, rubbing his forehead with a nod. "Fine." he calls back. "You?"

"I'm fine. Need t get better at climbing so doesn't take me so long t get down though," Will says eying the ground below.

Chris nods somewhat and then stands, shuddering from sitting in the snow. "I'm bored." he nods. "Don't want to throw snowballs anymore." The stoat hrms a little before sitting right back down in the snow.

William doesn't see the shuddering as he's a little preoccupied at the moment. The rat grips the branch with his paws and while still holding on raises to his footpaws then he pushes off with his feet and swings around to hang by his paws before letting go and dropping down out of the tree in a crouch. This is all done in quick fluid motions too fast for most beasts to really catch just how he got down. "Do you want to go in?" Will asks Chris as he stands up and walks over toward him.

Chris nods a little bit. "Yeah." he stands up and brushes his rear of snow before turning and marching all royal like towards the hall. "Had fun." he smiles once at the rat with a nod.

William smiles, "Good. You hungry?" he asks following the stoat back to the tunnel.

Christopher tilts his head and hmms. "Yeah." He replies with a bright smile.

William grins, "Alright then let's head to the kitchen an see what your mum's been cooking today."
