Oh. Well. If you put it that way, I'll just save your life. (Frosted Arrow Log)

FV:Zee's Home

This is the simple home owned by the elderly badger Zee. Well, owned is a strong word. More along the lines of Zee simply walked into the first vacant home he saw and shouted. "It's mine" before Scioto could argue. Clearly this badger is either brave, stubborn, stupid or all three to live in the middle of a vermin village without actually asking for permission to live there. Nevertheless, the fact that resides here in Ferravale in this hut has been more or less accepted by the community, as most expect the badger to fall over dead at any minute, and yet they are surprised that Zee wakes up every day, walks out of this hut and walks around the town like he owns the place. There is really nothing special about this hut, as only a chest of simple belongings such as food and clothes, and a hammock in the corner occupy the space.

Exits: [OUT]

Magus the ferret. Zinnia the badger. Blisa the cat, Ferdinand the ferret, and Basilisk 'Basil' the whiptail snake. Bandit the fox.

Magus sits in the chair and watches the badger, the falcon is gone but not Magus, he simply watches her closely.

Zinnia groans and opens her eyes and looks around, how did she get here and then she notices the ropes and tries to loosen them.

Magus smirks "You're awake, that is good...oh why the worry" He stands and walks over to her, dagger out, "I have sent a reply to my master, a little lie...for now, it won't stay a lie for very long" His voice is so creepy and his eyes are too.

Zinnia looks at the ferret and frowns, she notices the dagger and her mind remembers earlier, well somewhat as that's still a little fuzzy..."Your...earlier" She coughs and focuses on him better, "What do you want and where is my uncle?"

Magus answers "By now?...Dead maybe, I know not what Master Bora has planed...what do I want? Simple...death, your death...think of it as a way to clear your troubled mind..." He seems to stare at her as he speaks "Your mind is all messed up, troubled...lost...and you have thrown away its key...prehaps another key can unlock it but that's so very far away, time wise and travel wise...but your not wanting that are you." He holds the dagger out and tilted..."You need...sleeeppppppp"

Zinnia tries to look away from him but finds she can't, she gets a look of fear and tries to loosen the ropes on her paws and is failing, she tries to call for help also but her throat hurts from the knockout herbs and from a couple days of crying on top of it..."Noooo...." she whispers.

Blisa is worried. She heard that Zinnia was in town, but she kind find her. So what does the cat do at times such as this? She scours the town! And, just for the fun factor, she's dragging along Basilisk and Ferdinand along for the search. The vast majority of residents have gotten used to seeing the cat with her pet snake, so they don't stare openly as Basil slithers by, the feline perched at the base of his skull. Having searched everywhere else, she decides to try Zee's hut, figuring that the Abbey Recorder might have stayed there in the hopes that her uncle would appear. Ferdinand the ferret goes up to the door and knocks on it as his charge calls out, "Zinnia? Are you in there? It's me, Blisa. I wanna talk! And I can leave Basil outside if it makes you more comfortable."

Magus goes to lay the dagger at the badger's throat and frowns, "Interruptions yet again" He says softly..." No matter, any last words dear?"

Zinnia frowns, he really shouldn't of asked that, she may be depressed and all, maybe she even half wishes to just die...but not like this. "Help!!!!"

Oh. Well. If you put it that way. The trio hears the shout, and Ferdinand takes it upon himself to break the door down. He draws his sabre and goes to force the other ferret away from the badger. The Basil arrives on the scene...or at least, half of him. He is about the width of a mature elm tree and about as long, so not all of him will actually fit in here right now. As Blisa jumps off of his back, drawing her dirk and rushing over to the Recorder, the snake takes in the scene and goes to wrap multiple coils around Magus' body, legs, and arms.

Magus frowns and narrows his eyes "You're too loud dear...you need to sleep...." He goes to move the dagger, but stops as the door flies open and the snake appears, well he has a fear after all as the dagger falls from his paw and he goes to move backwards a little too late as the coils get his footpaws and legs and he falls flat on his face and tries to reach the dagger.

Zinnia closes her eyes as tears go down her face, when she hears all the noise she opens her eyes and sees who is there. She is tied up and her paws behind her back, she couldn't of defended herself if she had tried, she also can barely move.

Blisa goes to help the badger by severing the ropes that hold her. They should cut like hot butter under the cat's sharp dirk blade. Ferdinand kicks the dagger as far away from the other ferret as he can. Basil, meanwhile, prefers to have his food standing upright when he kills them, and so goes to force the ferret up on his paws as he goes to wrap the rest of his coils around Magus, from his feet to his neck. The snake has started to squeeze his latest victim when the feline looks up from her task. "Wait, Basil! Don't kill him just yet! ....I have some questions for our 'friend'." "D'aaaaww....." the snake whines, but he stops increasing the pressure. Unfortunately, he had just gotten to the part where the ferret should be in severe pain, but not quite to the part where bones would start breaking. So the ferret is most likely in an unbelievable amount of pain.

Magus narrows his eyes and seems to hold in the urge to scream out in pain, he can take a lot of pain it seems but this and a hard time breathing is a bit much, "You...will...payyyy...."

Zinnia scoots back and looks at Blisa, but she doesn't smile or say anything she just lays there and rubs her sore wrists a little and stares at the floor. She was tricked by this ferret and what's worse is what it said earlier.

"Ferdy, help her." Blisa stands and walks over to her pet, but pauses as Ferdinand whisper something in her ear. She scowls, but nods, then continues over to her snake. Her bodyguard sheathes his sabre and kneels beside the badger, going to gently take her paws in his own and examine them. "Are you alright, Mith Zinnia?" Basilisk holds the intruder still as the feline climbs his coils until she is eye level with Magus. She smiles cruelly into his face and says in a disquieting voice, "Do you know what happened to the last beast that tried to kill one of my friends?" She chuckles evilly as she pets Basil's nose. "My dear Basilisk ate him. So, yeah.....I suggest that you start talkin'. Who are you working for?" She did not see the blue arrow tattoo on his paw, and even if she had, it would have little meaning for her.

Magus narrows his eyes as he speaks, "You will not find out, you should leave its the badger I seek to speak with not...not you cat." His voice is calm and...well creepy.

Zinnia wrists are a little red and sore from the ropes and she is still dizzy from the drugged herbs, "I am...fine" Her voice is flat and emotionless right now and she frowns, this has made her day worse but she cries no tears, they just don't come.

Blisa laughs wickedly. "No, you don't seem to understand. My name is Blisa Wyrmtamer, future Chieftain of this village, and I am the only beast standing between you and the inside of a whiptail snake's gullet. /I/ have control of him, nobeast else. If I decide that you should be executed, or dragged out into the forest to be eaten by a golden eagle, /I/ can do it, and nobeast would ever know." Basil goes to squeeze the ferret in the hopes of breaking his arm. The cat glares at him and smacks his nose, which makes him holler. "I didn't give you permission to do that!!" The snake whimpers and loosens his hold back to where it was. Ferdinand goes to lay a gentle paw on the badger's arm, but for now says nothing.

Magus smirks, "You interrupted me...the badger maid was to be dead by now..no matter, I can tend to it, I have...time, my pet delivers a message which wont stay a small lie forever"

Zinnia frowns and looks at the ferret, this ferret is creepy, "He...somehow made his voice sound...different and knocked me out with...something" She sees the burned up herbs, well they are probably not able to be ID-ed...she sighs.

Ferdinand frowns and goes to examine the burnt herbs. "I'll take them to Valerie....the might be able to tell uth what they are." Blisa scowls and leaps down to the floor. "No, actually. Time is against you. Since you insist on deliberately defying me, I'll just let Basil eat you. Basil, Code 7." And she turns her back. The snake, who knows what that means (the cat's sneaky like that and actually developed a code to use with her pet), starts cackling madly and whispers, "I wonder how ferret tasssssstesssss with cheesssse......let'ssss find out, sssshall we?" he has not started squeezing yet, but since Blisa has been banned from torturing people, she's kind of running out of options.

Magus eyes widen, being eaten is not part of his plan and he does start to get a little afraid of the snake and tries to break loose from it" Releasse me...or ..." Well he isn't sure on an or...

Zinnia stands slowly and goes to sit in a chair and leans back on it and looks at the floor. She looks like she has had little sleep since her father died, she frowns as she closes her eyes trying to further block the memory of it playing over and over again, she could meditate but it would be for the wrong reason.

Ferdinand has bagged up the burnt plants, and now he goes over to the badger and holds out his canteen of water. Basil goes to lick the top of his victim's head, as a sort of taste test. Blisa looks over her shoulder at him, jade-green eyes narrowing. "Or you'll do what? Come back as a ghost and haunt me? Ha! I don't believe in ghosts." Except for the Spirit of Martin the Warrior, she refrains from saying. "Basil, if you'd like, I'll buy you a wheel of cheddar cheese to go along with him if you'd like." If the snake had hands, he would be clapping them joyfully. "A whole wheel????? That'sssssssssssssssssssssa wonderful idea, yesssssssssssss......."

Magus frowns, his nerves are failing him slowly as true panic sits in and it's worse than if his boss finds out he did lie about the badger's death and it looks like its a true lie, "Noo wait!!!" Some fear in that voice now, "I don't want...eaten I am not ready!!"

Zinnia takes the water and sips it, she coughs and wipes away a tear, she coughs again and frowns...those drugged herbs do have one bad effect, she throws up, luckily not on anyone and frowns as she curls up in the chair.

"No, you're not ready yet, but you will be after Basil cooks you in a pot with a whole wheel of cheddar cheese." Ah, macabre humor. Blisa is surprisingly good at that. She seems to be enjoying herself immensly. Ferdinand holds his canteen out to the badger again. "I with Valerie wath here..." he mutters, completely inept at all things healing related. Basil goes to see if Magus' head would fit whole in his mouth. Just to be sure.

Magus reels his head backwards "I will answer questions just do not let it send me to the unknown yet!!!!"

Zinnia frowns and just lays there, she feels ill now, not too ill but enough to where she doesn't want any other water right now. She also stays quiet for now.

Ferdinand sits beside the badger's chair, willing to just give her silent company for now. Smiling with satisfaction, Blisa turns to face him head on. "Back off, Basil." The snake makes a disappointed sound and rests his head on the floor, still managing to keep his victim completely immobilized. "Who are you working for, where are they, and where's Zee??" The cat is also pretty good at getting to the point.

Magus answers, but not completely, "I would for my Master, Chieftain of the Frosted Arrow.." On his paw is the blue arrow, if it's seen..."I know not if the old badger lives or not, he could be dead by now, as well as his friends...My Master seeks revenge on the Winters clan...."

Zinnia frowns, she does finally point to the water for a drink, she half listens to the ferret but only half, then she seems only half there as well.

Blisa narrows her eyes at him again as she sits down, criss-cross-applesauce, on the floor. "What's your /master's/ name? Why does he want revenge upon the Winter's clan? Is that Zork and Zinnia's last name?" Ferdinand quickly hands the badger the water, then goes to check her for a fever, which is basically his only skill in healing. Basil whines from the floor, "Can I eat him now??????" but he is ignored by the other 2 he came with.

Magus says, "For the death of the great Argo many seasons ago...my master's name is no concern of yours, besides if the old badger still lives I hope he likes the gift I sent to my Master, a lie that wont be a lie for long and maybe he will die at the edge of the sword the key unlocks." He starts to chuckle.

Zinnia is suddenly sitting up at the mention of the sword and snarls as her eyes narrow, is this still the quiet and cheerful Redwall Recorder?! She may feel like throwing up but she finds hidden strength and goes to try strangle the ferret, weather a snake has him or not and anger clearly shows "He best not DARE touch that sword!!"

Basilisk perks up at the sight of the enraged badger, and goes to help hold Magus still for her. Blisa goes from anger at the ferret's words to shock as the Abbey Recorder charges forward, and she just sits there with her mouth agape. Ferdinand, after a few seconds, hops up and unsheathes his sabre. Running forward, he goes to whack the snake on the nose with it, which causes him to hiss in anger and mutter something about bodyguards baked within bread. Ferdinand then drops his sword and goes to try and hold the badger back, growling, "Thith won't help you! Zinnia, pleathe, remember your vow! What ith the Abbey Charter??!"

Magus' eyes widen, he has seen angry badgers before, he has seen worse than this and pales, this could get bad very quickly.

Zinnia screams loudly as Ferdinand stops her and then sinks down to her knees and starts sobbing uncontrolledly, "He...He means Papa...papa's...s...sword....it's all I had left of him and now its gone too...and Uncle Zee could be dead..." Her body shivers with each sob and she just sobs loudly and it dies down slowly to some sniffs and a whimper as she lays there, she has cried herself to sleep on the floor of her Uncle Zee's hut, pain and suffering still very much inside her still and now it only seems worse. Well she won't be home today, they are probably getting worried about her.

Blisa gets over her shock and growls, "I should've let her kill you, you mangy little worthless flea-infested pile of pond scum." She stands and brushes stuff off the seat of her pants, her tail all poufy, showing how angry she is. "Let's take him to the holding cell so Dad can deal with him....that'll be fun to watch." Ferdinand nods and, after grabbing his sabre and sheathing it, writes a note and lays it beside the sleeping badger. Basil goes to drag his captive to the door so they can go.

To the holding cell! :D

FV:Town Hall:Holding Cell

This is a simple strongly made cell for holding a captive. There is a good size bed and enough room to walk back and forth in if one wants to pace a tiny bit. No windows and only one way out and that leads to the chieftain office.

Exits: [Out]

Magus lets them led him to the cell, he is quiet most of the trip and as they lock him inside, he narrows his eyes.

Basilisk has to hold Blisa up so she can see through the grating. She glares at the ferret, her green eyes seeming to glow like fire. "If you don't like the holding cell, I could take you to Basil's room. I'm sure he'd be more than willing to accommodate you." Ferdinand hands the key to the door to a guard and tells her that she needs to get a couple more guards to help her, because this prisoner is of even greater priority than Marek used to be.

Magus looks back at her and smirks, his creepy look back, if she was closer he would try to scare her..."The badger maid doesn't need me to hand her death, she may wish for it soon herself." He closes his eyes "Her mind is such a foggy clouded mess, she slowly locks up all feeling and throws away the key and only a rare key will open it back up again..she is lost in the storm, lost within herself and the storm will only get worse and worse...ever more lost will she become, a fate some say would welcome death with open paws..." He opens his eyes and smirks.

Oh, great. Blisa didn't realize that he is a Seer. Awesome. "You're a Seer, huh? Well, I can assure you that our mutual friend, DoraRose Strongheart, will do all in her power to prevent Zinnia from seeking death, believe you me. And you would not BELIEVE how grumpy Angela Quitefeet is.....she would drug Zinnia and tie her to a bed if she became suicidal. I kid you not." Ferdinand peeks in and growls deep in his throat. Basilisk hisses forlornly, "I wanted to eat him with cheessssse..."

Magus smirks and grins, "Help the badger maid...help her...that's funny, her soul is quickly getting lost, I would of done her a favor killing her today"

It takes all of Blisa's willpower to keep her from throwing the door open and personally giving Basil the ferret to eat. As it is, she grips the bars of the grating to the door with trembling paws, and even if he wasn't a Seer, he'd be able to tell that she wishes him dead. "I should come in there and teach you a lesson, you louse-ridden bag of bird droppings! Give me one reason why I shouldn't have you skinned and sold as a rug!!" She means it, too. Ferdinand shares similar feelings, he's just communicating them through a glare.

Magus shrugs "I know not the answer to that but a rug I will not become before death takes me away and that wont be soon"

"That is debatable." The voice comes from the doorways as the door opens. Bandit takes on a different loom when sober. Less joyous and more dignified...not terribly so but enough to show that he can walk into a room and people should listen to what he says. "Sorry for my lateness miss. I came as soon as the guards let me know you had a prisoner. Now who shall you be wanting me to make into a rug?"

Magus chuckles oddly "It's the fat fox from the tavern, I remember you"

Blisa is standing on Basilisk's back so she can see through the grating of the holding cell door. She turns to look at him, and even though she is angry, she can't help but smile a tiny bit at him. "We caught this stupid ferret trying to kill Zinnia. He won't give me all of his information, even though he came close to being Basil's lunch, so I'm threatening him. He doesn't seem to be taking me seriously. Oh and he's a Seer, so be careful." Ferdinand, who is standing beside his charge, is still glaring at the prisoner, wishing him dead. Or dying horribly. One of the 2.

Paws behind his back the obese fox cringes at the sight of the snake. In theory Blisa can take her pet where ever she wants it...but it gives the town such a fright, Bandit Included. "I...see." The fox twitches an ear, "Well, why don't we try a new approach. Let's start simple, what is your name Ferret, and why did you try to kill a badger?" Again Zin is attacked? thinks Bandit.

Magus looks at the fox and smirks, "4...6...MAYBE 4-6 seasons of life are within the fat fox, good days...bad days....some hate him and some do not hate him....a last meal one day will be your downfall, a downfall you can't escape from oh fat one." He then answers, "I am Magus...and you are Bandit...and Master told me to kill the daughter of Zork Winters but maybe...maybe deep down she will soon seek deaths kiss on her own."

Something snaps within Blisa, and she grabs the key from the guard who's standing by and starts trying to unlock the door, screaming with fury. "I HOPE YOU ROT, YOU LITTLE SCUM-COVERED SLIMY LITTLE POND TOAD!!!!!" Ferdinand grabs the irate little cat and gets his ear bit in the process. He hollers as blood pours down his jaw. Basil just watches in awe, surprised at the feline's ferocity.

Magus smirks at the blood, "You made his face red some...how delightful"

Fat one? Why does everyone poke fun at his weight? Bandit is not THAT fat, is he? He looks down at his gut, nope...he's fatter... The fox was just about to question the beast further when Blisa snaps. And this is why teenagers should NOT be in interrogations. "Restrain her!" he shouts to Ferd. "Both of you. Out. The snake can stay guard...but I am NOT going to have another incident like Longfang. Now. Get. Out." the fox snarls.

"AGREED!" Ferdinand shouts at the Head Guard as he drags the slightly calmed (but still very angry) cat out the door. Basil hisses happily, then jiggles the still-locked door with his tail. "I wonder if /I/ can unlock it, hisssssssssssssssss.....I've wanted cheesssssse covered ferret for /agesssssssssssssssssssss/......"

Magus backs away from the door and slips on something on the floor and slams his head onto the floor....gee he is a seer and didn't see himself knocked out, oh well...least he will be quiet a couple hours.

Bandit cringes at the snakes words and gulps. The ferrets words as well. 4 seasons huh? And after a last meal? Bandit always wondered how he would kick the bucket. He shakes his head, no sense in believing this 'seer' mumbo jumbo nonsense. "Don't worry...Basil will keep you company for the night Mr. Magus." he turns for the door, "And I trust your guard can tell you the finer points of not losing your cool, Blisa." the fox politely chastises the cat by hissing through his teeth before he storms off to his own devices. Last meal or no...he needs a drink...
