I have no reason to have fun

Zinnia is quietly eating a late dinner at the far end of a table, a few others are here talking and one mouse is oddly sleeping in a chair, must have been a long day

Flicktail comes into the room to be with others and moves to be near the Sister badger "Evening Sister Zinnia”

Zinnia nods a hello as she nibbles on some brown bread, she dips it into her soup and eats some more. She sips some water she has and stays where she is.

Flicktail cocks his head and begins to nibble "everything ok? you’re very quiet”

Zinnia nods "Yes, all is fine." She answers him as she eats her soup, looks like potato soup maybe.

Flicktail says, "well I won't converse if you rather be quiet"

Zinnia shrugs, "That’s up to you sir, not me." She finishes her soup and drinks the rest of the water before scooting the cup and bowl away.

Flicktail says, "well I would disagree...have you ever wanted to pass time with a friend, but your friend gives 2 word answers and makes you come up with all the conversation?"

Zinnia sighs, "Maybe sometimes, I am sorry you’re having problems...tell them ok, not me"

Flicktail says, "I am not having problems, I just miss my friends sometimes"

Zinnia nods "Well, then visit and if you can't do that cause of...well whatever, I am sorry." She looks around the room, maybe seeing whom is here.

Flicktail answers “ I am visiting a friend, I am visiting you”

Zinnia just nods to this, a novice who was passing smiles and waves, Zinnia just looks at them, but doesn’t return the smile, the novice speaks "Ummm you want me to go ahead and take the....oh" The bowl and cup is given to them and they then take it to the kitchens with their own cup and bowl.

Flicktail says, "Everyone is saying your quiet"

Zinnia shrugs, she is being quit now it would seem.

Flicktail shrugs back "Just here if ya want”

Zinnia nods "Well..your just eating a late meal, like me...."

Flicktail says, "I am also interested in why you’re so quiet, and in hearing about your day, and in sharing mine with you"

Zinnia frowns, fine she will talk." Did inventory of harvest, will do more tomorrow..."

Flicktail nods "I got some of the wood in to dry so I can make some furniture”

Zinnia nods again,"Ok..busy day for both" she says simplify.

Flicktail says, "Not too bad though I like working wood, and helping beasts. I have a new adopted daughter, a wonderful Ermine gel"

Zinnia just nods to this, seems she is done talking for now, but she is listening it seems .

Flicktail asks, "I like pie, do we have any pie?"

Zinnia shrugs, seems she doesn't know if there is any or not, she had not had any just soup, bread and the water.

Flicktail shrugs back and pantomimes being quiet to those around

Zinnia shakes her head but says nothing.

Flicktail nod nods and twiddles his paw thumbs raising an eyebrow to the badger

Zinnia sighs, “What?" She asks, getting annoyed.

Flicktail says, "oh nothing....just wanted to have some fun is all"

Zinnia asks, "Fun? She shakes her head again.

Flicktail says, "aye you know something friends do of enjoyment so that we do not trudge from day to day with no joy in our hearts...Dibbuns have fun every day"

Zinnia says, "Yes dibbuns do, what your doing can't be fun your just sitting there"

Flicktail says, "aye because I want to have fun WITH some beast, it is always better WITH some beast, and that Some beast I would like is you"

Zinnia answers, "Well I am sorry, I do not want to have fun."

Flicktail says, "Aye That I figured, wot I can't figure is why"

Zinnia says, "I have no reason to have fun, that’s why"

Flicktail says, "Fun is a reason for itself Sister"

Zinnia shrugs.

Flicktail says, "whats more it is healthy"

Zinnia says, "One can be healthy other ways"

Flicktail shakes head "Everyone NEEDS fun now and then”

Zinnia says, "Well then go have fun then, never said you couldn't. Just won’t be finding fun with me is all."

Flicktail says, "Aye see that’s why I am wondering why not...am I not a good beast to have fun WITH?"

Zinnia asks, "I never said that , now did I? A dibbun could ask and I would still say no"

Flicktail says, "well that still leaves me curious, I am sorry if that annoys you Sister but it does....I am not trying to annoy it's just me heart aches for you"

Zinnia shakes her head as she stands, “I should go to bed, besides it's late shouldn’t you be sleeping too?"

Flicktail says, "I have to watch over the Beasts of the abbey. Sleep well Sister Zinnia"

Zinnia nods and heads off to her room, where she will lock her door nd sleep, she will answer the door to NO ONE!!! She will sleep till morning and then go to the library right after breakfast.
