A meeting of old friends and of new ones....
Ferravale Tavern...
Leon is in the tavern, just sitting off to the side away from most of the tavern beasts here, he has yet to eat lunch and is just sitting and...thinking?
The door opens, and a couple of loudly laughing foxes enter, letting the door close behind them. It is about half-way closed when Ferdinand slams his paw into it and shoves it open, Blisa following him as he enters the building. They make their way to the bar, order something and sit down, the kitten lookign around curiously. Her gaze lits upon Leon and she lets out a happy cry and runs over to him, in the hopes of giving him a hug. Her guard sighs and follows at a slower pace, but making sure to keep his charge in sight.
Leon starts to close his eyes and opens them when he hears and sees the dibbun, he smiles a little "Hey there" He says softly.
"Leon! How are you? Are you OK? Why are you here in Ferravale? I'm so happy to see you!" Blisa chatters happily, hugging the mouse. Ferdinand really doesn't recognize this mouse, but if Blisa knows him, well, then maybe he can be trusted.
Leon smiles and returns the hug, "Long story..Flicktail is here..somewhere, not sure where"
Blisa jumps up and down excitedly, clapping her paws. "Really? Oh that's wonderful! Oh!" she stops and covers her mouth with her paws. "You two don't know each other! Leon, this is my bodyguard, Ferdinand. Ferdy, this is Leon;he's a healer from Redwall." The ferret smiles politly and holds out his paw. "Good to meet you, Thir."
Leon nods "Achally, Master Healer now, Brought a dibbun here day before yesterday real late she had a hurt ankle and some other issues came up also, she is hopfully still in the village as told her to stay put"
Ferdinand nods and sits down as Blisa asks yet more questions. "Who's the Dibbun? When did you become Master Healer? Is that very important? It sounds important. Will her ankle get better fast?"
Leon blinks at all the questions, "Ok..dibbun is Cera, and I became Master Healer around time of the spring winter or shortly after that feast believe it was. And Master Healer is in charge of other healers at the infirm and checks on supplies and keeps things stocked well, and the anke will get better when its better, faster if she stays off it"
Ferdinand nearly chokes with supressed laughter as Blisa keeps on going. "That sounds really important! I think I met Cera once. She seemed nice. Why is she here if she was with you at Redwall? She was with you there, right? Is she OK? Should I go say 'hi'? What do you think?"
Leon says, "She ran away"
Blisa looks shocked. "Why would /anybeast/ wanna run away from Redwall?!"
Leon shrugs, "She was being called Vermin and her and another dibbun, a mouse got into a small fight, he shoved her and she bite him and now she is upset and depressed as her father is dead and...its just confuseing to expalin right now, have yet to try and talk to her much"
Blisa's eyes go wide and she sits down, at a loss for words for once. Ferdinand looks grim, knowing first-hand (or would it be first-paw?) how horrible bullying can be.
Leon sighs"And..she is, right now has no parents, dont know..."A beast walks up to him "Umm..your a healer that Oakenpaw mentioned could you help in the infirm real quick" Leon sighs"Fine..excuse me" He heads off"Just this one thing, then resting rest of the day going back to the abbey tomorrow morning"..He heads on out of the tavern.
