Characters: Lorimis, Amethyst, Storm
Location: RW Abbey
Great Hall
Lorimis walks in just a humming to himself. his tail flicking as he moves over to consider some book or object on the table.
Amethyst is down in Great Hall sitting at the table having a snack. It not yet time for her to take her turn in the infirmary and Clenal should be up stairs napping. The rat's ears flick toward the humming. She doesn't greet the mouse because her mouth is full of pastry.
Lorimis smiles widely the sound of pleasure in his voice "Why Missy Amethyst, I am so very pleased to see you, I hope all is well for you" he pads over with a tea cup in his paws and moves to side beside his favorite female rat.
Amethyst chews and swallows a bit quickly upon realizing which mouse it is that's just sat down. "I'm well, Father Abbot. How are you?"
Lorimis says, "oh My word Gel, I am just fine, enjoying some of the cooks great pastries I see" he chuckles rocking back to clean his glasses with a cloths "Amethyst I have not thanked you lately for your wonderful healing skills, you have eased the suffering of many a beast"
Amethyst says, "I'm not as skilled as th brothers an sisters ere. Learned a few things from em since I've been ere, Father."
Lorimis says, "Skilled enough ta help Ame, and THAT is what counts." He pats her paw "the thanks still stands."
"Welcome," the rat mutters, unused to much praise.
Lorimis says, "what is it Ame...you do not look...comfortable"
Amethyst attempts to act nonchalant and says, "Nothin'. Everythin' real nice ere. Even with th cold comin' in."
Lorimis cocks his head "are you being completely honest with me Ame? I really do enjoy your company.”
"I said nothin' is wrong," Amy states again reaching for the remains of her pastry.
Lorimis says, "As you wish gel...you are very quiet tonight"
Storm enters the room and then realizes the Abbot is in the Great Hall. "Hello, Abbot. And hello Amy"
Lorimis looks up "Good say my fine otter, come in and join us, it must be quite cold outthere this time of year.”
Storm replies, "Thankye kind Abbot." He then proceeds to enter the abbey's great hall.
Lorimis smiles and takes out a pipe..and begins packing it with something "where do you hail from Sir Otter.”
Amethyst seems to ignore the other two as she finishes off her snack.
Storm thinks for a bit before repling,"I hail from the River Moss, Abbot but I donot now where exactly."
Lorimis says, "ahh a river dog, I see....and what brings you to The Abbey today?" he asks good nsutredly rocking back as he lights his pipe and puffs on it"
Storm says, "I've come here to visit my good freind, a dibbun named Koshi."
Lorimis says, "oh Aye I know of him, what a wraskle he is too I think he will be excited to see you."
Storm says "Aye Abbot, he and I are best buddies."
Lorimis says, "A fine lad, why do you not keep him with you, I shoudl think he woudl enjoy adventuring with you."
Amethyst swallows the last of her pastry and wipes her mouth on a cloth. "I hope if he and Clenal have found each other they aren't playing in the infirmary," she says. She nods in agreement when the abbot suggests pairing Koshi with the otter.
Storm says, "I would, but alas I belive the woods are a bit to to dangerous for such a young tyke."
Lorimis says, "oh i do not lknow, even the abbey can be dangerous, we just had to deal with a vermin infestation."
Storm says "I know about it, but the forest can be a place of ambush. In the abbey there will be someone to back you up always."
Lorimis chuckles "We will of course Watch and teach Koshu, but from what I have seen of you good Otter, he'd always have back up, and so would you.”
Amethyst says, "And he seems th type t wander off where he shouldn't. Better he was with yew than without."
Storm says "True, but lets wait a season or 2 to see how he is for adventure."

Storm says " Ok abbot, I will be more careful and wary of movement on my adventures."
Lorimis says, "You might even stay around the abbey, you rather do have a responsibility to th lad."
Storm says, "I might as well be a brother to the abbey if it means Koshi will be safe."
Lorimis says, "however you could just reside here WITH the lad, we have wonderful cottages."
Storm says, "ok then, I willl live here and maybe become a brother."
Lorimis chuckles "Follow you calling....do not feel obligated.”
Storm laughs softly and says " I feel like living here then."
Lorimis says, "well it looks like it as well.... I am sure Koshi will be thrilled, I would very much like you to oversee his lessons."
Lorimis says, "on and watch out for our champion, he think's he's an otter"
Storm says, "ok and i believed Flicktail was the champion, I could be mistaken though.
Lorimis says, "Flicktail it is, a very fine fox he is too."
Storm says, "Yes he is, have you seen his bundles of joy, yet?"
Lorimis says, "ohyes even with no arms the Champion can not help but show every beast.”
Amethyst says, "He only had one in a sling last I saw im. Fox has been walkin' round a lot."
Storm laughs and says, "Yeah, I’d bet he would show the stars if he could.”
Lorimis says, "oh e already has, had em out omn the walls when the stars were out."
Storm says, " Wow, he must be proud."
Lorimis asks, "you woudl think so yes wouldn't you" he smiels puffing on his pipe "so you been after any vermins lately?"
Storm says, " Not really, just adventuring."
Lorimis asks, "and what adventures have you had?"
Storm laughs and replies, "I found the abbey didn't I?"
Lorimis says, "well yes you did that IS quite an adventure."
Storm says, "other than that I was looking for Noonville to see if the legends are true."
Lorimis asks, "What is a Noonville? and what legends might those be?"
Storm replies, "Noonville is a place only spoken in legends about Laterose and Martin the warrior."
Lorimis says, "well Martin is here..perhaps you could ask him...."
