"Oh, just the minor problems that Chieftains have to make headache-inducing decisions about multiple times a day. I think it's resolved now." (Marek's Revenge TP...a wittle bitty bit, maybe)

FV:Tavern

Outside a sign swings on a rusty creaking frame above the doorway of the tavern depicting a faded painting of what appears to be three rather rich looking skeletons slumped over a table around a black chalice, perhaps such a thing could be taken as a warning but it doesn't appear to work on the locals. The noise within on a normal day is usually heard before the door is even opened and only rises in volume when one actually steps inside.

There are the typical qualities of a tavern within, from the bar to the chairs and booths and the odd drunk who never seems to move it's the little details which encourage a patron to pay his tab if he likes his fingers. One look at some of the staff or customers might give the impression but the room is decorated to the fiercer tastes with bones, mostly skulls cropping up here and there to fill a gap on a shelf or decorating the walls above the doorways, fireplace and bar, a pair of axes joining the one over the fire with some signs that they've been yanked off to join in a fight a couple of times. Some of the comfier chairs are lined with fur and very rarely one might be found with a few pointed bits of bone to decorate the back. Despite the looks there is entertainment and fun to be had, some form of music usually played on a small stage in the corner and at least one bouncer usually tries to keep the peace while beasts gamble, drink and be merry.

A small door behind the bar leads out the back to the kitchen and cellars while one wall has been opened up in a wide arch to increase the space off into the next room where what seems to be a wooden fence with gates on either end has been set up as a fighting pit as further entertainment and something to bet over.

Pipkin the rat. Blisa the cat, Ferdinand the ferret, 4 longsword-wielding ermine and 1 scimitar-wielding male rat. Sykes the polecat.

Pipkin is seen speaking with one of the bartenders, a ferret who laughs at what ever he just said, the rat goes on "It was funny...yeah sure what ever get me something..heeheheh so I do and don't tell him wot it is and he ate half of it before he found out it was woodpigeon it was the funniest thing he almost threw up!"

The door to the tavern opens and the temporary leader of the village, Blisa, who is trying to establish the last name of Wyrmtamer for herself, comes in, flanked by Ferdinand the ferret, her scimitar-wielding rat and....4 ermine, who are all wielding longswords. Where did her other guards go? And where's the snake? The group comes over to the bar and take seats, the ermine dragging a small table over and sitting behind the kitten. She smiles and waves at the little rat. "Hello!"

Pipkin looks over and rolls his eyes, he goes on "Anyways so he dresses as a rat to avoid Hudson..he made a very bad rat, hee hee haha...someone wanted to fight him and he backs off I SO SO wanted the other beast to drag him into the fighting pit, been entertaining..." The ferret sighs "Really Pipkin..ya need ta be nice ta order beasts" Pipkin pouts now.

Blisa is now staring at the rat with her bright green eyes. "Order beasts? Who are you talking about?" Ferdinand inturrupts her and starts a whispered conversation, in which the kitten seems to get more and more irritated. The rat rolls his eyes, says something to the ermine, and the five of them laugh roughly. The cat and the ferret simply ignore them.

Pipkin frowns, "What he was always telling me wots ta do.." The ferret shrugs "'Cause he wanted ta protect ya...and speaking of that how did ya repay him?" Pipkin glares and then frowns as what happen does dawn on him and he sighs laying his head on his paws.

Blisa shoves the ferret, which of course does nothing since Ferdinand is stronger than she is. Turning back to the little rat, her forehead furrows as she sees his now sad-looking position. "Hey, what's the matter? Are you alright?" Having completely missed the conversation because of the lecture her bodyguard was giving her, she's a bit miffed to be in the dark about the whole thing.

Pipkin frowns, the ferret bartender walks off leaving the rat who is still a dibbun to think this over, what he did and he starts crying now.

Blisa is now very concerned about the rat, and so she scoots around her guards and sits by him. The guards immediately surround the duo, Ferdinand standing the closest to them. The kitten looks at Pipkin in a concerned manner and asks, "Hey, what's the matter? You can tell me....and I'll make my guards keep it a secret, if need be."

Pipkin frowns "He...trusted me and...and I was mad, I didn't mean too. I told Hudson where the dibbuns and them were and then he got them and almost killed the badger and...and now they are probally far, far away and.." He is in full tears now, "And now that abbey brother is all like...sad and its my fault and he doesn't know what ta tell Dora and its my fault...its mine"

Blisa goes to gently place a paw on the rat's shoulder. "Oh, I'm sorry. We can try to get the Dibbuns and maybe bring them here, where they'll be safe. I'm sure Leon" (she's assuming it's Leon...) "will forgive you. And why would he not know what to tell DoraRose? We really haven't gotten any news from Redwall except that we're to pay taxes..." Oh, yeah, and they have the tax collector in the holding cell. She needs to go talk to him again...

Pipkin frowns "Nooo....Oz..yeah him had the dibbuns in this church and...they were ok and then Hudson came and...and made them all slaves!..Including Brother Leon's dibbuns....Hudson took them all away and...and almost killed Oz and Oz got taken inside the abbey and I was the one who told Hudson where...where to go!"

Ferdinand groans and facepalms. Blisa gasps, and the rest of the guards roll their eyes at the little rat. "You didn't!" The kitten exclaims, covering her mouth with a paw. "Then you'd better /not/ tell DoraRose. Oh my goodness, this is terrible!" She starts making agitated little movements, shifting glasses around with shaking paws. "Um...uh....erm...um....uh, Ferdy, where would be a safe place for him to stay where DoraRose couldn't find him?!" The ferret spreads his paws wide. "I have no idea! The holding cell ith in uthe at the moment! And Bathilithk would probably eat him if we put him in the thellar!" Blisa fidgets and looks about ready to start crying herself.

Pipkin eyes go large, he frowns "Ummm...huh...she would feed me to a snake!!" This idea freaks him out and he looks ready to bolt, "Maybe you can mention it just...wasn't my fault?"

Blisa shakes her head, still on the verge of freaking out. "No, DoraRose would probably go Bloodwrath and try to chop your head off." Ferdinand nods and starts pacing a little, still very close to the 2 Dibbuns. The other 5 guards are starting to look uncomfortable, wishing that they could help in some way...

Sykes comes down from staying in the room tavern, dressed but in a scruffy disarray.

Pipkin frowns and then faints from this bity of news.

Blisa looks up and sees the polecat coming down the stairs and forces herself to calm down. Then, suddenly, a light comes on in her mind. "Nightbreath! He can hide in Nightbreath's house!" Ferdinand nearly laughs. "Why didn't I think of that!" Smiling in relief, the kitten waves to the polecat in a friendly manner.

Sykes waves as he comes down and orders himself a breakfast of two large pieces of savoury bread with butter and a glass of cold water and sits down near Blisa and Ferdinand, "What's going on?"

Blisa grins. "Oh, just the minor problems that Chieftains have to make headache-inducing decisions about multiple times a day. I think it's resolved now." Forget that she needs to talk to Nightbreath and Pipkin and Leon about the whole thing still...Ferdinand nods and leans against the bar, looking nonchalant and relaxed with his paw on his sabre hilt, his golden eyes watching everyone and everything in the room. The other 5 guards are doing the same, except they've now started to 'play' a card game, very loudly, at the closest table.
