Aqua sits as she watches the abbey beasts and the stares and the mumbling, she shrugs so what she looks ready for summer, doe it matter.

Jarvis walks over and sits down beside her "So...why did we come visit again?I mean I guess its standing...maybe we can leave now. Unless you want to wait till morning, it is getting dark now."

Aqua nods "It..might be best"Yes the dark scares her a little and maybe it always will as she leans agaist Jarvis, "Is it wrong to be afraid of the dark?"

Benar makes his way to the steps talking with an elder "I am fine....just need fresh air"He over hears the otters and smiles"Nothing wrong with it at all my dear"He has mostly recovered from the pond but they will make him get checked up on a few times over the next couple days, least he can sleep in his own room and not the infirm.

Jarvis sighs and then turns as he sees the squirrel, remembering him from earlier, he nods "Sir...you seem to be doing well"

Aqua jumps a little, then seeing its the squirrel she gives a small wave. And yes she, well now, knows whom he is "Ello Father Abbot. I am glad your ok, but you likely should rest...least tonight and maybe tomorrow"He smiles a little, yes healer advice.

Benar smiles "I am doing well thank you, also thank you earlier as well"He looks between them "It is good to know some otters have returned to Camp. I will have to try and visit, once the weather is warmer of course and Camp Willow is always welcome to the Spring feast"

Jarvis listens and blinks "Wait..your the?" He looks at Aqua,"He's the one that....the...so we saved the Abbot of Redwall's...life earlier" Ok...well, and a small smile "And made sure the bat, whom the champion said is gonna be questioned for..thief of..stuff or other...was placed somewhere, cellar think, the champion is taking care of that...sir"

Aqua nods "Yes." She listens quietly "I will let Skipper know of the feast, we will head back in the morning and we did let a guard know we were gonna take a quick visit at the abbey." She looks at the abbot now "I guess we had good timing for when we arrived"

Benar chuckles as he goes to sit down"It is alright. It's possible....I will need to have Gorvenalus look in the records, may of been Lorimis last season as Abbot when the viking attack happen on Camp Willlow. So returning ones would likely remember him more"

Jarvis says, "No worries"He says quietly."Change happens weather beasts want it to or not, a lot has changed for me and Aqua over the last seasons."He smiles"But I am still gonna marry her.""

Aqua blushes and smiles "Well..one day"She sighs a little "Not that I need any big fancy...wedding .I just need you"

Benar smiles "Well if you decide to wed I could always do a wedding here one day in the future"

Jarvis nods, he looks to Aqua "No..wedding?" He seems almost sad but just smiles at her as he takes her paw "Ya know what I think be nice, ta marry you...here and now."

Aqua chuckles a little as she smiles"That would be nice, your  the..best part of my day. Through all the seasons, rain or shine...and I would marry you"She smiles "Here and..now if possible"

Benar smiles"It is possible, I am the abbot after all."

Jarvis smiles as he hugs Aqua" Love you also and yes I do want to marry you."

Aqua smiles and rests her head on his shoulder, she is happy.

Benar smiles as he slowly stands"Well then..I suppose a congrats is in order. After all I am the abbot and"He looks around and chuckles as some were standing nearby "We have witness."He nods,"Jarvis..Aqua, congrats you are now married from this moment on"He smiles again "Now if you excuse me, I best get some rest before the healers get moody with me, I will make sure you have a room for the night and a meal before you head off in the morning" He then quiet leaves for his own room.

Aqua smiles, she nods "Thank you sir"

Jarvis blinks, wait..married? He smiles..married as he holds Aqua close. He nods his thanks as well.

Rudolfo looks around, he stays calm and alert as he looks for sources of light”A couple but up high, one bit of good news that water went down a little bit but not too much, maybe something else is blocked?”

Ewan shrugs as he stays close by “There is a ..dead end, and one other tunnel that ..goes into water...or least the small like chamber has a like..pool of water.”

Reva just been following them”So..finding anything of use, of interest?” She grins, still in a fairly good mood”You know we could still find treasure in this place, some old pirates like left it here and forgot about it”

Rudolfo shakes his head “First order of business, get outta here not look for treasure. This is not a fun thing right now, it's serious. Yeah we have barely any rations, we run out and then what? One can only go so long without water or food.”

Ping and Pong are close by and frown”Yeah and I rather we not resort to...ummm yeah let's not go there “Yep no eating friends, no way.

Ewan sighs”Also..mental state can slow in times like this.”He leads the way to the pool of water and frowns “It's just a large chamber.”He gets a paw of water and sniffs it..”Salt water.”

Reva looks around and smiles as she walks over to a wall “Look sparklely rocks..pretty”

Rudolfo sighs as he looks around and sits down, “Ok everyone...ideas?”

Ping and Pong just look at the ground, Pong seems smart..maybe..”Not..die?”

Ewan looks at the water and frowns “I am unsure, seems no way out....small holes for air and light so not like no air, but also no way out , other ways are dead ends,  thar is the cave in and maybe an old one too..we are...traped. I am unsure...wot to...”He just takes a deep breath, he will not panic and he will not faint. He sits down and hums to himself to calm down and seems to help him to relax.

A creature seems to poke their head above water and then quickly go under the water gain, this done several times before they get to where they stay on the patch of dry rock in the cave.

Rudolfo watches the creature closely, paw on his dirk and studies it “What is..is that?”

Ping frowns “Our doom”

Pong slaps his brother Ping and rolls his eyes “It's clearly some...ummm....well it's something that's hopefully nit here to eat us”

Reva keeps her distance but then is curious “Oh....my..GOODNESS!!” And now she is excited “I have seen something like this from a distance..”She looks at the creature “Hello...wait how did they, are they trapped as well?”

Ewan just studies her “It's a seal..there is like one book on them in Salamandastron library. They are usually friendly and live in a colony out at sea.” He hmmms “But usually don't go too far from water for too long.”

Seafoam just watches, listens and backs up a little. She then speaks “You are..longears and Landbeasts”

Rudolfo nods and ohs “You can..speak normally. Hallo and yes we are hares and sort of traped here with no way out”

Reva sits beside Rudolfo and listens as he and the seal speak.

Ewan hmms “Curious.”He says “Then not much is know of seals....another creature sort of like them is a sea lion but sea lions are bigger and less fur and large...teeth”

Pong decides right then and there “Then I clearly don't want a sea lion to say hi”

Seafoam blinks “I..listen to speakwords and..learn talk others.”She giggles “There is a tunnel under the water that goes a short distance and you get to a little area of dry rock and then dive into waters and go little ways and get out and then to the surface.”By like 20-25 feet.

Rudolfo smiles “A way out..”He then frowns, the others, and the whole swimming.”How..long is the tunnel?”

Reva folds her paws into her lap”I can swim, mom made sure I knew ...mom died, and no she didn't drown...no some fox killed her and dad was dead in some tavern fight...I am alone with”She frowns “Posy..she must be so worried”

Ping frowns “ Like..we have to go into the water...it will lower right?”

Ewan seems to pale “I..I..I..I..c..c....can't..s...s...s....s..swim”And the stuttering and the worry, the concern. He hums a tune and calms a little as his eyes go to the water and gulps “No nO ...nI..O..O...other way..other way......go.... be...other way”

Seafoam frowns “Is...longears landbeast okies?” She then rethinks “OH..landbeasts can't underwater be long...but it only way outta here” She swims back and forth and then “I get help?”

Rudolfo right away is trying to calm Ewan, but he is worried himself”Ok..its ok Ewan...ok Reva can swim...I can...Ewan can't....Ping?Pong?”

Ping and Pong nod as they can swim. Yes.

Reva frowns “Yeah but if it's like too long a tunnel...gee how long can ya hold ya breath?”

Ewan just whimpers but slowly , sort of..calm a bit. “Air is needed...hold breath...cant too long...I want to go  home”Home?

Seafoam frowns “First is..longish...and not long at all.”She can stay under a long time “I will get help or tell where you are at least, I shall back be..promise”And she is under the water and gone. Will she return? They sure hope so that's for sure.

Rudolfo sighs as he stays beside Ewan, he looks to where the seal left wondering...

Rudolfo looked around and frowned, least they found some moss and was about to have a small bit of light.

Ping frowned “We are slowly dying, no air...it's horrible my last moments with annoying beasts”

“Shut up your annoying”Pong said and went to punch Ping only to get punched back.

Reva frowned”Shouldn't they like, not fight and how are we alive or is time different in a closed in space”

Ewan frowns “Thar has to be air coming from somewhere or we would like be totally dead now” He looks around, there was a faint light up a little, now its dark “Maybe up there but elsewhere too..maybe,.”

Rudolfo sighs “I have walked a little ways down a tunnel, it goes down but went back and it had water in it,”

“Water, its filling with water!” Pong yells and Ping just whimpers

Reva is a little worried now “That is not good, do we panic?”

Ewan frowns “Maybe its the tide, it's possible I been on top of the cliffs..once and looked down the eater goes into like openings when the tide comes in and it likely goes away again when tide is gone, like there is some rocks to sit on at times and at other times they are under water, depends on what time of day it is, I remember”

Rudolfo smiles “You remember a lot Ewan, that's good but wot's it haf ta do with this?” He frowns, and worse he is hungry”How long has it been?”

Pong just stares at the wall.

Ping answers “Days..weeks..seasons maybe”

Reva just glares at them “Oh shut up, its been maybe like a day or so, I think”

“A little over a day”Ewan states quietly “I am pretty sure of that, we are likely seen as missing now so they will look for us, and worry some, least I think they would worry”

Rudolfo nods “They are I am sure. So ideas on how to get attention to us? Or maybe we look at more tunnels, I can see if the water goes down or not on the one tunnel later or if it's going up, which would be bad yes. Also lets try and not make too much noise, since these tunnels are a little...not so stable. As Ewan said clearly air is coming in from somewhere or we likely be dead or be having breathing issues and no one clearly is. We have no food and not sure ya all want salt water to drink”

Reva smiles “I have a couple pouches of water we can ration, and a pouch of rice cakes it's...not much I know but its something”

Ping has decided to sleep, hopefully that's not a bad thing to do

Pong just sighs”And what if seasons later like the dibbuns of the patrol find us or ..their dibbuns, our bones are found so far off into the seasons that cities have taken over the beaches”

Rudolfo frowns, he then smiles “Rations are rations lass...I am Private Rudolfo, the mostly quiet one is Private Ewan....the twins are recruits..Ping and Pong”

Ewan just nods quietly as he frowns “Rations...are good but we still need out of here.”

Reva smiles “Reva...nice to meet you, I have heard a lot of the Long Patrol and the Badger Lord. Heard he be almost 9 foot tall in fact.”

Rudolfo chuckles “8.5....so close and he is a great leader, and wants the Long Patrol to be a family. He likely has a search party out as we speak” He looks around “We need to find small openings come daylight where light comes in and like stick things in a couple holes, just enough to draw attention but not like block air. If we stay calm and keep hope we will be just fine”Or so he hopes, even a hopeful beast can lose hope but for now he has it....for now.

Xander decided to just start walking, leaving some others to do things, he needed a break and wanted to check on his friend, that and Keldorn and Silverwing had been away too long to suit him, so he was concerned.

Jaxson tagged along “I am sure they are alright, not heard anything on dangers after all my friend”

Xander frowns “Yeah and Sinway and Ewan could of walked into danger, I didn't think of it at the time...ok I was busy but one shouldn't be so busy they don't think on their friends”

Unseen, unless one is lucky, is a fox who happens to have Mossflower Defenders uniform on him. Laying by the river, clearly dead.

High above the sky was an eagle as he looked down and tilted his head and cawed softly “Hang onna me shrewfriend”She then dived down and landed, semi- good...on a small fallen log.”Seen....Defenders color...lookie see”

Keldorn slides off and frowns, “It is our friend..Rigel, what has happen to him?” He looks around “A great evil must have done this, none other could of as Rigel was a threat to no one”

Jaxson seen the bird, yep he is ever alert as he stops “That was a very large bird Xander.”And then “Let's see what it's up too!!” And he heads towards the possible unknown.

Xander frowns “Jaxson..wait what if it's danger...” He sighs and follows, he smiles “Keldorn..Silverwing......”Then a gasp as he rushes forwards “Rigel?!”

Silverwing puffs out and only relaxes when she sees who it is “You should notta startle Silverwing, good way get pecked plenty good”

Keldorn lays a paw on his blade, ready to fight then sees it is Xander and frowns “My friend..Sir Xander. A great sorrowfull thing this is, I know not what happen by trust me if I find out they will not live to see another day.” He he curious though “What are you this far from the abbey Sir Xander?”

Jaxson checks Rigel, it's clear he is dead as he looks at the eagle and shrew “He were worried, and see..a reason to worry and what we are only like what?....4-5 days from the abbey, not too far. We were also looking for you and de bird, looks like we found you and sadly”He frowns at Rigel, the fox was annoying..slow...but still a friend.

Xander frowns “We..we need to..give him a proper funeral”He glaces at Keldorn “Please say all is well, no one else I know is dead...are they?”

Silverwing speaks “Issa seeing Sinway friendotter and the bunny Ewan, is...ok, is alive ya, oh and Blackrose beasties all be deads, alla gone be around never mores again”

Keldorn nods “That is correct Sir Xander, The Blackrose was defeated 100%, even the leader, slaves freed and the base ashes, the hares did suffer some loses.”Which reminds him, he looks at a sealed scroll with the Badger Lord's Seal on it.

Jaxson listens and frowns “Evil doers are..annoying fools.”

Xander  finds a place to bury Rigel, saying a few simple words, a simple grave..not too deep but deep enough and where the river wont get to him and no one will brother him,he sees the scroll out of the corner of his eye and goes to yank it from the shrews pouch..paw..of course he could fail but if he has it in paw he will rip it open and start reading it, maybe fearing even worse news...

Silverwing  stays close, she then caws softly “Need fishes.....”

Keldorn had started to get it from his pouch and frowns, lucky it did have Xander's name on it. He sighs and stays where he is.

Dear Xander,

First I assure you as you likely fear the worse, your friend Zolomon is not dead, he lives. Though he may feel like he is dead. I do not know how well you knew Sargent Tarsa but her and Zolomon had grown closer, a lot closer since last you saw him. She was killed by the Blackrose, this has left Zolomon in a depressed state, at first he was a bit reckless, though he did follow orders and stayed at the mountain but I could tell he wanted to go find her killer, her killer was found and slain and the whole Blackrose defeated to the every last one, the base burnt down...no vermin survived. Zolomon still morns Tarsa and is far from himself. I am unsure what to do to help, Brother Sinway and Private Ewan seem to have maybe started a spark, but I fear that spark may be trying to go out. He almost got himself killed in a bar fight, lucky a couple beasts helped him and he got back to the mountain safely. I know you had wanted to come see him, perhaps you should come, in fact please come you may be able to help him, I do not know. I would send him to the abbey but maybe this is an option as well of you coming here. You could stay in Halyard or maybe a guest room in the mountain, your choice.

Xander scans the letter, a 2nd and 3nd time and frowns, “Keldorn...can you and Silverwing let the Abbey know I will be at Salamandastron area, it's like a couple weeks now from here.”He glaces at Jaxson “Interested?”

Jaxson hmmms and shakes his head “I shall head back to the abbey but safe travels to you sir and stay safe, but I trust you will”

Silverwing perns a wing and caws “I can get Jaxson and Keldorn to abbey safe and sound ya...you go to badgerhome, you be safe...visit wioth..harefriend.”

Keldorn lays a paw on his arm and nods “Do be careful Sir Xander and I do now know as much as I would like, I am sorry...me and Silverwing mainly stayed in Halyard.”

Xander nods “A summary is in the letter, and not many bother a traveling badger and I can travel faster on my own” 2 weeks may well turn to a week and a half, well maybe add a day but still under two weeks, then he just heads on down a path, he walks fast an hour and slows, walking a good 3 more before he rests a couple, walks a couple, and rests a couple, walks another hour and decides to rest a good half day but he does tend to make very very good time, his friend needs him and he wants to double cheek on Sinway and Ewan as well.

Jaxson sighs and frowns as Silverwing and Keldorn just head off “Hey you better wait on me, I..hey wait up!!!”

Rudolfo walks along the path and finally sighs "Ya know, tis doesn't have to be a quiet walk, we can chat...sing...something"He grinned some.

Zolomon looks at the other hare and shakes his head but he speaks "Quiet is good at times, as is being alert"Not that an issue had come up, the day was good so far and not a cloud in the sky even. a couple sea gulls but they were leaving the hares alone.

Rudolfo sighs, yes he was alert of course he was "Ya know...you use to like a song or trying to cheer someone up, wot happen ta that?" He looks around "The day is sunny...we are alive....yes it's a little cold but still a clear day"

Zolomon rolls his eyes"Yeah..clear and it's gonna be a little cold for a few more weeks tis winter, its colder further north and east is cold too"

Rudolfo says, "Well....yeah" , the quietly sighed as he looked ahead "We are close, we can rest a little while if you want to"

Zolomon nods "A rest is good."

Rudolfo is fine with rest as he looks around"So gonna be all quiet on the way back as well?"

Zolomon speaks "Maybe...why does it matter? We are to escort them to the mountain and then a dinner..wot ever ok, I will likely not be thar..might be at the archery range or ya know what...Old Pete gonna need someone on watch duty..I think I will be thar."

Sinway makes his way onto the beach turning around and waiting for Ewan to catch up "Well, twas a borin' trip, but I guess that be a good thing." Since he is facing away from them he has not yet noticed Zolomon or Rudolfo

Ewan says, "yes, uneventful is good...maybe wot ever problem is not a problem now...I think"

Rudolfo sighs "Wot ever, guess someone does need to still be on sentry duty.."He does notice the otter and Ewan and grins as he goes to greet them."Hallo!!"

Zolomon looks up as Sinway and Ewan appear in view but only stands slowly and stays where he is adjusting his longbow, he doesn't speak yet.

Sinway ears twitch in the direction of the sound first before he turns around "Looks like the Badger Lord sent us a escort mate." He gives a wave to Rudolfo before noticing Zolomon "'Ello there, tis good to be greeted by friendly faces."

Ewan smiles "He is...good with that yeah..always safe to have an escort"But curious "No....threats around I ...hope"

Rudolfo shakes his head"No threats..Thar was but the issue was taken care of and yes an escort ta the mountain, even a nice dinner should be waiting as well..some fun times hopefully"He smiles.

Zolomon walks forwards and nods "Private Ewan....Brother Sinway. Good to see you have made it safely 'ere. Tis about 1/2 day...maybe an hour or so more to the mountain from here."He keeps it simple"And..yes a sort of welcome dinner."

Sinway hmms a little looking at Zolomon "Every thin' all right Zolomon.......i don' think i have ever heard ye use me full name before......I wasn' even sure ye knew me full name." He gives a soft chuckle before turning to Rudolfo "Aww ye didn' have t' do that, but tis nice that ye have."

Ewan tilts his head and stares at Zolomon quietly but decides to ask later,for now he will be quiet.

Rudolfo frowns, then smiles as he nods "Its good..though the Blackrose was an issue..not not all the way wiped out and any other issue...well was taken care of as well."

Zolomon nods "I am fine"The tone sort of says otherwise,"Yes...other issues."He hmmms but asks "Didn't run into a cat or...well anyone else did ya?"

Sinway frowns and shakes his head "Fine ye don't have to tell me." And he leaves it at that before turning to Rudolfo "Aye Patch was tellin' me the Blackrose was makin' trouble, as fer a cat and any other beast, no we didn' run into a cat or any other beast, twas a rather peaceful trip, gave me time to think and come t' terms with some stuff."

Ewan nods in agreement "Safe traveling, no trouble which is good"

Rudolfo nods, he will let Zolomon mention anything but he does speak some "Yeah the blooming Blackrose cause us some trouble, but they are gone now so no worries and its some cat that if she left...then good ridence"He doesn't mention the other beast, least yet"Anyways we should start back and any news from Mossflower we hope is good but guessing tis like updates or wot ever"

Zolomon frowns "It's...I am well Sinway and safe travels are good Ewan"He manages a..faint smile"They can give any updates to his Lordship when we get thar, I am sure a couple guest rooms been made up for them for their stay how ever long it is"

Sinway looks over at Zolomon "I don' believe yer completely well mate, but i wont press." He looks to Rudolfo "Ewan can give the updates, I'm in the western shores fer personal reasons, needed to get away from Mossflower fer a while." He looks at Ewan before turning back to face the direction of the mountain taking a few steps forward, bringing his arms up in front of him and tucking his paws into the sleeves of his habit "I be lucky Ewan wanted t' make a report so I have somebeast to travel wit and not worry Father Benar."

Ewan nods "Yes some updates...couple other things."He looks at Sinway...well Sinway can share later, but otheriwse"No danger at the abbey..other updates and such, can wait"

Rudolfo says, "Well it's good no danger is around and none here now"He decides to lead the way back"It is good to have guests though"

Zolomon shrugs "We can..talk later maybe. I will be on sentry duty during the welcome dinner then may go to Halyard, the tavern thar is nice"

Sinway just follows Rudolfo, he goes quiet staring at the sea as they walk and if any beast looks at him they will notice the cheerful look in his face he had when he greeted the two hares is gone now

Ewan doesn't say anything as he knows the otter has been quiet a lot and the reason why, but he will not share thats up to Sinway, not himself as he follows them and says "I...never liked the tavern much"

Rudolfo says, "The tavern is fun."He looks at Sinway "Something wrong mate? If ya worried bout any storms...none around right now and not much happens on de sea at all.""

Zolomon stays alert as they walk and ever so often looks back to the others, he is quiet, least for now.

Sinway looks over to Rudolfo "no mate.....I ain't be worryin' about storms.......tis just." He looks back at the sea "There was another suppose to be another beast here today."

Ewan nods but doesn't say who "Ended up being me and Sinway, not sure how long we will stay...not yet anyways"

Rudolfo nods "Well I guess thats ok..trip like this can be long fer some beasts after all"

Zolomon sighs"Yeah...others"He says after a while but clears his throat "So would else was gonna tag along on the trip?" He has an idea but he isn't sure, could of been a couple beasts he knows after all.

Sinway doesn't answer that question or really respond deciding to keep quiet for now

Ewan decides to not share as it's not his place to share as he looks up as they near the mountain "Wonder...if anyone missed me ..."

Rudolfo smiles "I be sure ya were missed and beasts be happy ta see ya again,been some changes though...and thats to be expected after de...well Mossflower fight thing and a couple other promotions happen after that"

Zolomon nods and decides fine and shrugs "Promotions happen sometimes you know"

Sinway keeps walking in silence turning to look at the mountain now before looking over to Ewan and after staying quiet for a long while finally speaks again "Be sure t' tell the Badger Lord to send the sparra back and let the abbot know we made it here safely."

Ewan nods "Of course sur..."He frowns a little staying close to the otter" Zolomon isn't being...Zolomon..it's strange and he could likely cheer you up but seems he isn't''cheery, wonder why?"

Rudolfo is closer to Zolomon than the other beasts so he doesn't hear any speaking, he glaces at them and back to Zolomon."Are you really gonna volunteer for sentry duty during a special dinner?"

Zolomon nods "Someone has ta bally well do it...why not me and I get along with grumpy old Pete better than others"

Sinway frowns and looks at Zolomon before replying to Ewan "I....don' know......I'm sure we will find out once we get to Salamandastron."

Ewan frowns and just sighs as he looks at the other hare and nods to Sinway "Yeah..ya right, maybe he is just tried if they like just recently had that...battle maybe with Blackrose, could just be that"

Rudolfo sighs and mutters before going forwards a little "We are....almost thar by the way"To which he is glad, they been walking a while but made very good time.

Zolomon says, "Yeah almost thar...good"

Sinway watches as the mountain gets bigger the closer they get to it, they are now close enough that even halyard is within view "Goin' to be nice sleepin' in a bed again, the deck of a boat really ain't comfortable......but then maybe livin' at the abbey again has spoiled me a little."

Rudolfo sighs, he slips back to Ewan and Sinway and smiles "We do have soft beds and can't say slept on a boat before"

Felicity goes Away From Keyboard.

Zolomon glaces at the mountain and looks back to the others"So,,any idea how long ya gonna stay and visit?"

Sinway shrugs "I'm not sure about Ewan, but I plan on stayin' till at least summer....like  I told the abbot I  don' think it be the right summer fer a Hullabaloo so there be no reason fer me to stay fer the summer as well."

Rudolfo nods "A ..Hulla.....what now?" Ok he has never heard of one of those before and gives the otter a what the look now.

Zolomon speaks after being quiet a while "Don't bally well ask me Rudolfo I have no clue either...wot is it?"Well least he is talking more now, but hey he is curious so he asked.

Sinway smiles a little "Tis a otter party mates, Hullabaloo is a big ol' otter party that takes place every fourth summer." He smiles and looks at the sea again "Every otter that can follows the rivers and streams to the sea and has a season long party on the beach." He seems to cheer up more while talking about this "There we swim in the sea, play games in the sand, have friendly combat matches, we eat and drink, and every night the beach is lit up with bonfires."

Zolomon nods "Sounds...nice Brother Sinway, I have no idea if there been any otters around, well one I know of but thats one"

Rudolfo says, "Oh...interesting, if it's happen must be more up shore from de mountain as I never seen anything like that, nor has my family spoke of it and ....well my family been in the Long Patrol fer seasons""

Sinway nods his head "If it was to happen, ye wouldn' see otters showin' up till mid spring at the earliest." He then he looks to Rudolfo "Aye must, I'm not sure where they hold it here, the one I have been to was on Green Isle, sadly thinks to a head injury I got, I can't remember how many summers ago that was, guess I should just be glad I can remember the party it self."

Zolomon nods, normally he might chuckle but he only nods "Well still...visiting for Spring is good"He looks up as they are just about at the mountain now "Well...guess we will be inside soon enough, not sure who be on sentry duty"

Rudolfo shrugs "Not sure, not like I ask...and I don't volunteer...now if I am told to, yeah I will do so"

Sinway looks out to the sea before looking back at the two hares "I'm just glad t' be away from Mossflower fer right now.....and it be nice t' see the mountain again, though I don' think any of the hares I  knew the last time i was here, but tis still nice t' see the mountain again."

Zolomon shrugs "Unless you talked to any before they left Mossflower....then again not sure whom all that is not like I carry a list"

Rudolfo shakes his head as he looks to Ewan and Sinway "Don't mind him, he's moody but I am sure he'll be better....later"

Sinway shakes his head looking a Zolomon "I didn't get a chance t' talk to many, was stuck in the infermary after the battle, no the hares I knew, I knew many seasons ago, back when the mountain didn' have a Badger Lord." He seems to remember something and gives Zolomon a little playful shove "Also, I was a little upset I didn' get t' say by to ye when ye left on yer mission."

Zolomon frowns "Well..they needed info here as quick as possible so choose me...didn't get ta say goodbye to anyway really,was in a wee bit of a hurry, was resting in de infirm a good like 3-4 days afterwards."

Rudolfo just listens quietly as they are basically by the mountain now and he looks around, no one outside right now doing any drills.

Sinway nods "i understand mate, still, could of left a note." he looks up at the mountain "still as impressive as ever."

Zolomon mutters a sorry and looks at the mountain "Yeah...big, large...lot of room inside. Base of the Long Patrol as we keep de shores safe from harm."He sits down on one of the rocks quietly."Shores are safe now in fact"

Rudolfo stands quietly off to the side, he nods to another hare and they chat briefly before the other hare heads inside.

Felicity comes walking from the direction of the Mountain, for once without a Recruit or Private in tow. How nice, a day to herself. The cut above her eyebrow has no bandages, so the fact that it's about 2 inches long is visible for all to see. When she spots the 4 other beasts, she waves to them.

Zolomon waves to Felicity "Hallo Corporal" A salute "Our guests are here..Brother Sinway and Private Ewan"

Rudolfo salutes also and stands quietly where he is, I mean Zolomon did update her after all

Felicity quickly salutes them back so they can go back to being 'at ease'. "Jolly good, wot! I 'ope y'all 'ad a good trip, an' welcome back, Ewan. I 'ope the Abbey life 'as been treatin' y'well. An' 'ow are you?" She asks the otter as she offers the 2 visitors a bright, genuine smile and a paw shake.

Sinway shakes the offer paw "I've been better marm, tis not been a easy month fer me....and is the reason why I am here, I needed t' get away from Mossflower fer a while." But he does return the smile "But thankfully the trip here was peaceful, and we made great time."

Zolomon stays seated where he is quietly watching the beach and some sea gulls while the others talk, he got the beasts here safe and sound now he likely will take a nap soon.

Rudolfo says, "Hope nothing too bad happen, it seems thing are good as I am guessing if was trouble again news would of been brought besides hey guests soon""

Felicity's smiles fades just slightly. "Oh, 'M sorry t' 'ear that. I 'ope this trip 'elps?" Turning to Rudolfo, she nods. "Aye, we don't need any more evil vermin things 'appenin' 'round 'ere any time soon. I'm sure we'd've been told much soonah if there was trouble in Mossflowah." At least, she hopes so, anyway....

Sinway nods "Aye." He turns to Zolomon and Rudolfo before back to felicity "I might as well tell ye all no good keepin it in." He sighs and sits down not to far from zolomon looking at him "Kenya is gone." Is all he says at first taking a deep breath "This trip was suppose to be to take her to see the sea, she never saw it before, and a sea otter who never seen the sea is like a river otter who never got to feel runnin' water on his back." He shakes his head "Now I'm here just to get away from everything."

Zolomon looks over"Gone?" He asks quietly and frowns, maybe he has an idea what gone means, but it's unclear and he looks back to the sea quietly.

Rudolfo blinks "Wot ya mean gone...."He stops and looks down"Oh..as in...sorry ta hear that sur...and from wot heard all otters like de sea"

Felicity's smile vanishes. "Gone? Did....oh, my, 'M sorry." She stands there a little awkwardly, but some awkwardness is necessary sometimes, especially in times like this. Can't always have the right answer, y'know? "Do....d'y'need t'talk about it?"

Sinway sighs turning to Rudolfo then looking towards Felicity "Kenya was me adopted daughter...she lost her parents to the Blackrose." He looks back out at the sea "It was a accident.....her and Brother Rick went t' visit Atvi and his grandmother, invite them to stay at the abbey because it was turnin' out to be a bad winter, Atvi grandmother had passed during the night and he ran off upset.....ended up on a creek and the ice broke.....Kenya jumped in to try and save him..Atvi is alive but Kenya didn't make it."

Zolomon frowns deeply as he listens and speaks quietly" I..I hope ya not sad..too long Brother Sinway."He sighs a little "Death can be hard to deal with...and..."He stands as he looks at the mountain "I will inform his Lordship your here...so....yeah"He walks on inside.

Rudolfo frowns and starts to lay a paw on Zolomon's shoulder and then then backs off as he watches him go inside "Well..I be sure Lord Ciocan will be...glad ya two got here safe then"

Felicity sits on a rock near the otter. "I'm sorry. She sounds like a brave and 'ounerable little lass." Zolomon can go inside, it's no big deal. She then turns and adds, "M'name is Felicity, by the way. I've lost most o' m'fam'ly. 'Tis terribly 'ard."

Sinway nods "She was novice age, she was goin' to be a healer when she made sister of the order." He watches Zolomon leave "As fer what been happenin' at the abbey....I don' really know......I  kinda been stayin' in me room only recently started talkin' to beast again....and then we left to come here, so if ye want updates on the goin' ons at the abbey yer gonna need to talk to Ewan."

Rudolfo nods "We had some..issues with the Blackrose..a couple fights, some injuries....."He frowns but then adds "But..tis all peaceful now ."

Felicity looks at the sand at the base of her rock. "Losin' fam'ly is 'ard," she whispers, then looks up at the other hare. "Aye, 'opefully we won't 'ave any issues with th'Blackrose for a while, although with 'Anzi goin' off with that cat....I dunno what's gonna 'appen." She stretches a little. "'M glad you're talkin' to more beasts, an' that y'came t'visit with us. May'ap y' 'll find some solace 'ere by the sea. I know it 'elps me, 'specially when, like Rudolfo said, 'tis peaceful."

Sinway frowns "What happen with Hanzi.....he was the hare who wanted t' join the long patrol, I met him at Redwall.......whats this about him goin' off with some cat" He then looks towards the mountain "well I  mostly came to just get away from Mossflower, see the mountain again, tis been many many seasons since I  last came to visit." He looks towards Halyard "Maybe go visit the tavern fer a drink......been wantin' something a little stronger the October Ale as of late."

Rudolfo frowns, "Hanzi...got banished.....and the cat was called Kalypso if remember right, daughter of Melantha , well , Kalypso sort of got flying lesson so she may be..dead but someone saw her leaving the shore"

Felicity scowls darkly. "Aye, 'Anzi joined up with th'daughtah of a slavah. I dunno why. I only tried t'be 'is friend. I almost nevah pulled rank or anythin' on 'im. 'E just went on and on about bein' tired of bein' ordahed around. From what a couple o' Privates who were there when it 'appened, m'Lord Ciocan 'ad to banish 'im from the Western shores. Didn't get all the details, but that's whot 'appened."

Sinway frowns and shakes his head "That be horrible, after losin' his family t' those slavers and even being a slave.....t' join up with the daughter of the cat who had his family killed. I mean, tis not like I haven' ever seen woodlanders who acted like vermin, but I didn' think I hear about Hanzi actin' this way."

Rudolfo frowns"Yeah....he killed a hare in the tavern and Didn't seem..concerned he just walked away and on the beach...me and another was thar...Lord Ciocan almost...almost killed Hanzi, then told Hanzi to get off his shore and Hanzi left, but...that hammer was like inches from his neck."

Felicity scowls darkly. "Didn't 'ear 'bout 'im killin' that othah 'are. 'Tis a sad and disturbin' business all 'round." Stands up stretches slightly. "Lord Ciocan may 'ave more t'say 'bout it, too. Wanna go try t'find 'im?"

Sinway shakes his head "I wont bother Ciocan right now, I imagine if he could he would of already come greeted us.......so he must be busy." He turns to walk into the mountain "I think I'll just get some rest, like I told Rudolfo and Zolomon sleepin' on the deck of a boat ain't to comfortable."

Rudolfo shrugs "I..don't know he is..somewhere?" He nods "I think I will get some rest as well. Long walk there and back to the sea and river moss place"

Felicity nods. "Sounds good, wot! I'll show y'where y'can sleep." Turning to her fellow hare, she adds, "Aye, I think y'and Zolomon deserved it, wot! Ye'll probably get the rest o' the day off. We can double check t'be sure." She goes to lead the otter to where he'll be bunking for the duration of his stay, then reports to whoever it needs to be reported to that the guests have arrived fully and safely at Salamandastron.

Rudolfo nods "Always good idea ta double check ya be right" He goes inside last and after checking on things he will either take a short nap or a long nap.
