Winter Feast! Part 2 (Feb 13th 2014)

Krystal looks at Lacota, "I should think of a good skill to learn, maybe sewing or help to cook"

Oz sips his tea and listens as a couple dibbuns start to get restless, he says a few calm words and they settle down again.

Lacota nods his head. "I would be happy to help you learn the fine art of cooking."

Zork is close enough he can speak to Lacota “Ya did get de list fer de cellars right Lacota?"

Benar looks around and then slides one of the large cakes on the table over toward him, "Zork did I hear you right? You sorted out the cellars?"

Krystal smiles "Ok..I could learn some and like said to sew as well."

Zork nods to Benar, "Well..not by me self, a couple novice helped me, and it were something ta do and..we do have a list now of whats down thar and most likely wot been brought up ere'...why?"

Thorn chuckles as Benar gets the cake, "Hope your sharing that dad.."

Oz gets some desert for the dibbuns, a novice nearby helps him as he nods his thanks, seems the dibbuns want some of a pudding and ..of course cookies.

The dibbuns cheer and then soon sit down quietly and have some juice as well.

Lacota nods to Zork. "I did, thank you. A full inventory was very helpful indeed."

Lorimis asks, "Did you find any Strawberry Fizz? I've not had any in seasons and I am not sure we have anyone who knows how to make it. It would be great if there was some." Benar meanwhile smiles at Thorn and starts to slice up the large sponge cake and hand it out to everyone"

Zork grins "Thar was some in de back of de cellar..hmms wonder if it’s still good"

Lorimis exclaims, "Well lets crack it open and see!"

Krystal blinks "Who would go and..get it, it might be heavy"

Zork chuckles and hmms "Sadly I can't go get it, maybe a couple of de otters could"

Thorn nods "Otters are strong beasts"

Lorimis nods and waves to a couple of our otter guests and asks them to head downstairs. Benar nibbles his cake and then grins softly, "Strawberry Fizz is good"

Zork says, "We should find another cellar beast and someone who knows how da make different ales and such"

Thorn says, "I think we have a cellar hog. I mean don’t we, who else would make the ale if we didn’t? And other stuff.."

Krystal listens as they all talk among themselves.

Zork says, "Think so, they just not keep stock of whats in de cellars and now with de list made we can keep track of that"

Soon enough the pair of otters Lorimis sent are back with a small firkin. Benar moves over to the Abbot's table to hammer in a tap and soon starts to pour out glasses of the bubbly strawberry fizz to everyone!

Lacota says, "If there is a cellar hog, he hasn't been keeping the cellar in order."

Krystal says, "well it seems in order now..guess find some beast to..keep it that way?"

Thorn sips some drink she had left over.

Zork hmms, "Can't think of anyone right off paw that knows bout ales and such and ta keep it all like..sorted out and such"

Lacota hmms. "Perhaps I'll keep an eye out for some beast."

Bek pokes his head into the large room, his hooded cloak has been hang up.

Krystal yawns as she is a little tried now.

Zork looks over as the otter enters and nods a hello.

Lorimis says, "I will look into fixing that before Spring. I'll talk to Benar see what he can suggest"

Benar grins and holds up his fizz "If you say so abbot and Bek hello! Come join us!"

Lacota looks to Krystal. "Tired?"

Krystal doesn’t answer as it seems she has fallen asleep.

Bek walks into the room and bows, "Hello to you..wot is being needed fixed?" He frowns "Sorry...none my concern"

Zork smiles, "Looks like a couple things will be fixed up come spring..and spring cleaning will start and think some has already started"

Lorimis says, "The cellar needs someone to look after it properly, also someone who can brew things"

Bek nods "Ahh..Brew like de ales and cordials, wine and all....need something called hops for that, it being type of herb and other such things."

Zork listens as the sea otter speaks "You sound like you know about brewing or least some of it."

Bek shrugs, "Is not important..was looking for someone who seems not here.." He frowns some now.

Lacota says, "Hedgehogs are masters of brewing, but we seem to have few hedgehogs currently."

Zork nods "They do seem rare lately"

Lorimis says, "Indeed that is indeed what we need for brewing ale at least."

Bek says, "May be hard to find in winter, unless Ferravale be having some"

Lacota nods. "Possibly. Though, brewing is out of my realm of experience."

Bek says, "Brewing can being easy..sometimes"

Lacota hmms. "Perhaps. I wouldn't know."

Bek shrugs again, "I should go then..if seeing Silverstorm tells her Bek was here."

Lorimis smiles and settles back in his chair, listening to everyone talk and be merry, the Abbot appears to be slowly nodding off
