Troubled Dibbun
RW Abbey: Pond
The abbey pond is practically the place to go for relaxation. The orchards that settle onto one side of the water hole provide decent shade for the more heated months to come. Various types of wild flowers grow about the edge of the ground that lightly overhangs into the pond. The pond seemingly invites one into its cool depths, which holds its fish life and multiple species of shrimp and other water dwellers.
Spring has come. Due to the rains, the abbey pond is just gently lapping at the edges of the ground. Soon to overflow lightly if the spring rains don't let up soon. Plant life seems to explode here in a variety of colors, sizes and aromas.

South Wallgate
Leon is sitting by the pond relaxing and watching the ripples that stones make as he throws one into the pond.
Flicktail is close so Leon would notices something white hanging over a long log, it is an incredibly thick and fluffy white foxtail...but, it is completely still...not a twitch, just the fur moving with the breeze. You see a fox ears the flickers a little as the fox hugs himself and rocks himself
Leon looks up and blinks, he goes over to the log to check on Flicktail and looks him over "Flicktail?"
Flicktail is red eyed but when he sees Leon his ears raise, "Oh LEON..Leon you..you have to help me" He sniffles he trembles as if terrified.
Leon blinks, "Help with what, are you ill? What’s wrong?" He frowns slightly" Maybe you should go inside."
Flicktail shakes his head, "Cera..will hate me” He looks Leon in the eye "I..I killed her pappa.. Maleficus.”
Leon listens and goes to help him sit up, "You..must of had a reason, tell me what happen and I do not see why she hate you?"
Flicktail says, "Because..She loves her pappa." He sniffles " Maleficus was..was in the Hall..and Jillian and her mate, came in..... Maleficus..pulled out daggers...an..and I told him to take me' off or leave...and he started threatening beasts...then..then I sent a Novice for martin's sword..I..I’m supposed to protect beasts...right? an..and Maleficus attacked me..an..and I had ta...."
Leon listens carefully as Flicktail speaks and answers "If he was..trying to do harm you did the right thing it sounds like"
Flicktail looks relieved at that "T..Thank you..I..I was worried...." He sniffles and looks at his foot paws ,"I..feel terrible...l..like a vermin...
Leon sighs, "Well, you’re a friend, you’re the champion of the abbey. as for Cera, not sure where she is right now"
Flicktail says, "I dunno..but wot do..wot do I tells her? She will look for her Pappa..."
Arturo walks over and stops as he listens to the beasts there and frowns, he starts to head back to the entry.
Leon says, "Well. don't lie...that’s a start"
Flicktail waves to Arturo...the hare has already been seen "I..I won't Leon”
Arturo groans, "Hey..I..thinks I know where..de lass be or..I did before she ummmm....never mind I see you two be bally well busy"
Leon nods "Good, lying is wrong, she needs to know what happen she may be upset at first but be worse if she is lied too and finds out later what happen, " He looks over at the hare.
Flicktail's ears perk "Arturo...where did ya sees her?”
Arturo frowns "Well..she..it was a day or..two and..I didn’t mean too, she followed me honestly and, then she ran off into the woods, I didn’t hurt her honest!"
Leon frowns, "Woods!?..How did she" He takes a deep breath and frowns more, “The other day, she said she wanted to run away...oh no"
Flicktail sighs "I know ya never hurt a dibbun, Arturo...I miss her”
Arturo says, "I..I can help find her, if I had known she followed me sooner I would of...and should of came sooner"
Flicktail says, "She won't wanna see me..."
Leon shakes his head, "Flicktail, we need to find her, she is only 5 seasons old, she doesn’t know how to fight..fight well anyways, she could get lost or hurt"
Flicktail nod nods "I wanna find her so badly" He nods
Arturo sniffs as a single tear goes down his face, "Sorry..I did try and..find her but she hid well guess, so came here to let others know, ok didn’t right away was afraid get blamed or bally well banned from de abbey"
Flicktail offers a hug to the hare "It be ok, and, we'd never ban you..your a GOOD hare....and..my friend, if ya will have me”
Leon nods, "Ok, so.." He looks at the hare “Yes this should of been told of sooner, but right now we have a lost dibbun to find."
Arturo is a bit unsure of the hug, he doesn’t return one as he errs, "F..Friend? I don't know. We will see chap, but where would she go?"
Flicktail says, "Probably in the woods”
Leon hmmms,"Woods fairly large, wonder if anyone in Ferravale would know, or maybe one of those rangers be willing to look for her or well help look for her?"
Arturo nods "Woods..yeah tis where she ran off, bit north of here"
Flicktail asks, "Do you think her Pappa were being mean ta her?"
Leon shrugs “I know someone named Jak was..a mouse think ,I don't know, I know from listening this.. Maleficus was gone a while"
Flicktail says, "Aye that is her Father"
Arturo frowns, "Should I..I am going ta start looking," He heads to the entry and out the gates.
Flicktail says, "thank you Arturo...thank you for your help" he says sincerely.
Leon nods, "Alright Flicktail" He watches the hare and back to Flicktail, "I can look for her as well, just in case a healer is needed, are..you going to look to Flicktail or..?"
Flicktail says, "Of course, no matter wot happens we have to keep her safe" Flicktail says, "I cares about her"
Leon says, "We need to let Benar know and Lorimis, also Oz...and I will need to let Dorarose know I went out and why"
Flicktail says, "Well we have Novices that will take messages....."
Leon nods "Good, please let them know and we should go soon as possible"
Flicktail says, "Well We will just tell the Gatehouse mouse on way out"
Flicktail says, "I'm not letting ya go alone, anything happened to you, I'd have to Face Dorarose, and I'm not that brave"
Leon nods, "Ok meet me by the gate, need to get some supplies for my healing bag and we need lanterns and never said would go alone"
Flicktail says, "ok"
RW Abbey: Main Gate
You are at the main entrance into Redwall Abbey. The gates are a massive, double-doored wooden affair, reinforced with iron, and with a heavy latch and crossbar on the inside to prevent would-be invaders. While the gates almost always stand open, you get the impression that the builder of this portal designed it to be nigh impregnable. The entrance arch is amazingly thick, denoting the strength and thickness of the ancient walls themselves, which, despite the upheavals of the past, and numerous cracks present in the rose colored stone, still stand tall and strong. Uncountable pawprints can be seen in the dirt, leading both in and out of the Abbey. Along the bottom of the wall on either side of the arch, weeds and wildflowers can be seen in plenty.
Shadows are lengthening, and you can see the sun falling over the western grasslands. Leon is by the gate, traveling cloak on, lanterns, healer bag with him as he looks down the road.
Flicktail is there with matrin's sword and ready to protect Leon with his life
Leon sighs, he looks to Flicktail, "Ok, where too, where do we start?"
Flicktail says, "I dunno, you’re the smart one"
Leon says, "Your smart also Flicktail, ok the hare said north of the abbey"
Flicktail nod nods "I am smart enough to know when ta listen, so I hope”
Leon nods "Ok then, let’s head north then first"
Mossflower - Dirt Road -------------------------
The sun's glow lights the road, and the warm air of summer envelopes
every beast like a gentle blanket, creating a slight haze around each
object. Stretching to the north and south, the road dominates the
landscape. Hard-packed dirt is laced with ruts and stray rocks scattered
upon the ground, as well as a few stray clumps of browned grass. To the
east, a building stands, simple in design but obviously a frequently
visited location. The path leading to the door of the structure is
often-trod, and countless footpaws have left their mark in the dirt.
Trees line either side of the road, though not as thickly as they do
farther north, and the road lies bare and open to the sunlight.

Leon walks carefully along the road, "Wish we had another with us also, but us two and the hare hopefully is good enough suppose"
Flicktail walks with him "I'll do wot ever it takes Leon...Martin be with us”
Leon keeps his ears open as the walk; he adjusts a strap on his bag.
Flicktail follows closely beside Leon
Leon stays close to the edge of the road, very alert for things left or right and even up lately, he sighs as its dark now.
Flicktail tests the wind with his nose, no beast has as sensitive a nose as a fox
Cera is in front of the Gull and frowns, she kicks a rock and starts to walk away.
Leon has yet to see the ferret, he tends to stay a little ways away from the Gull.
Flicktail catches her scent..and begins moving toward Cera "Leon..she..she's here now" He follows his nose
Cera looks up and frowns more seeing Redwallers and starts to go inside but the door beast seems to dislike that idea and yells loudly, she bolts away from the door and towards a tree close to the other beasts.
Leon blinks as he catches sight and hears the yelling, he backs up a little and scans the area and sees the ferret run towards the tree line.
Flicktail moves to follow Cera, once his nose is on a scent "Cera? Do you hate us? we..won't make ya come back if ya don't wants
Cera sees Flicktail and frowns,.."W..W..what?"
Leon walks slowly towards Cera “Are you ok, are you hurt?"
Flicktail says, "Why are you running away from us Cera..the beasts in the Infirmary miss ya.....You know I love you Cera..."
Cera sniffs,.."N..n..no one likes me...me..mean ta me, call me vermin..p..pick on me, not like..a..abbey"
Leon frowns, "Cera, you can..learn healing still" He still awaits an answer on weather hurt of not, he looks at Flicktail, “Don’t think she..knows anything else Flicktail.."
Cera sniffs, she is dirty and has a sore ankle, other than that not hurt really, hungry maybe.."k..k..know what?"
Flicktail says, "why How can you say that Cera..Would we come looking if WE didn't like ya? and benick, and Lina, miss their friend, and Zarok and Fourstones, Zork, Oz..and the Abbey healers"
Flicktail asks, "Wot Cera?"
Leon frowns and sighs," Her father, Flicktail.." He, if allowed, checks Cera over to see if she is ok.
Cera blinks, she allows the help and frowns, she tilts her head at the name,.."M..m.y daddy..w...w..why? Where d..d..daddy?"
Leon checks her ankle, he frowns at Flicktail as he gets some bandages, "She should know and the truth, if the truth is not told now..it could be worse..for both you and her later Flicktail"
Cera whimpers a little as her ankle is tended to and looks down, she is listening, somewhat, and is quiet as she picks dead leaves from her head fur.
Flicktail sighs and sits down "Cera...I..I have to tells ya somen...some..bad....will ya let me" the fox has tears running down his cheeks.
Cera blinks "w..w..what?" she sounds a little scared."w..w..why cry?"
Flicktail sniffles "you know..how when the rat attacked ya..you HAD to bite im.... and..when a beast scared ya..you bite?
Leon finishes with the ankle and leans back as not much else he can do right now, he does keep an eye and ear open for possible trouble.
Cera nods "r..r..rat was bad..bad rat try h..hurt me"
Flicktail nods "Cera...yer father tried to..kill me, and..I..I had to kills him..I..I'm sorry” He sobs now.
Cera backs up and yelps some, her ankle.."H...h..he...d..d....d..daddy..d...deads?" Tears flow as she looks at the fox.."w..why..wh..what he do, w..why kill daddy!"
Leon frowns, "He..was evil.." He decides to Let Flicktail go on if he can.
Flicktail says, "he used is knives on me...he tried to kills me..I’m sorry..I don't want ya to hates me..but..if..if ya do I understand"
Cera sniffs and kicks dirt at Flicktail and looks ready to bolt into the woods, tears down her face.
Leon gasps and goes to stand in front of her, "Wait..no don't do that and please don't run off, the woods could be dangerous, the road can be too, Flicktail was protecting the abbey"
Flicktail says, "And you too Cera'” He cries "I loves ya, and..yer pappa told me e..wanted to harm you....please don't go Cera..."
Cera screams and throws a rock at Leon’s foot paw and goes to run and falls onto her side and wails, she sobs loudly and hic ups and starts to shiver.
Flicktail doesn't know what to do.
Leon sidesteps as the rock passes him and frowns, he walks slowly over to Cera and sits by her, "Cera?..calm down, your ankle may be broken, you need to go somewhere"
Cera sniffs and shivers, she hiccups again as tears flow.."A..A..Ankle hurts.."
Flicktail doesn’t approach but looks quite miserable.
Leon checks the ankle again, he looks over at Flicktail and frowns more, "We need to go somewhere..Ferravale if needed or set up a campsite it’s very late Flicktail"
Flicktail says, "Wotever you need Leon....the Gull tavern be here, I have a tent in me backpack, or Ferraville is just a short distance"
Cera sniffs and whimpers, she cries herself to sleep in fact and twitches every so often.
Leon says, "Not the gull..maybe Ferravale, Oakenpaw is there, you could try and carry her"
Flicktail nod nods "I will carry her
Leon nods and stands "She is asleep..so Ferravale guess"
Flicktail puts his blade away and bends down to pick the sleeping Cera up and gently carry her to Ferravale.
Leon follows and keeps an eye and ear open still as they get on to the road and turn to Ferravale.
Flicktail moves slowly, depressed as he walks along and they stop at the gate.
Leon nods as they enter and heads to the Tavern, “Take her to the infirm, I will find Oakepaw, unless he is at the infirm..possible.
FV:Tavern
Outside a sign swings on a rusty creaking frame above the doorway of the tavern depicting a faded painting of what appears to be three rather rich looking skeletons slumped over a table around a black chalice, perhaps such a thing could be taken as a warning but it doesn't appear to work on the locals. The noise within on a normal day is usually heard before the door is even opened and only rises in volume when one actually steps inside.
There are the typical qualities of a tavern within, from the bar to the chairs and booths and the odd drunk who never seems to move it's the little details which encourage a patron to pay his tab if he likes his fingers. One look at some of the staff or customers might give the impression but the room is decorated to the fiercer tastes with bones, mostly skulls cropping up here and there to fill a gap on a shelf or decorating the walls above the doorways, fireplace and bar, a pair of axes joining the one over the fire with some signs that they've been yanked off to join in a fight a couple of times. Some of the comfier chairs are lined with fur and very rarely one might be found with a few pointed bits of bone to decorate the back. Despite the looks there is entertainment and fun to be had, some form of music usually played on a small stage in the corner and at least one bouncer usually tries to keep the peace while beasts gamble, drink and be merry.
A small door behind the bar leads out the back to the kitchen and cellars while one wall has been opened up in a wide arch to increase the space off into the next room where what seems to be a wooden fence with gates on either end has been set up as a fighting pit as further entertainment and something to bet over.

Leon enters the tavern and sits down.
Flicktail says as he enters, "I left Cera with Oakenpaw in the infirmary" he sighs and looks down "she will hate me"
Leon sighs as he is in the tavern, he nods as he heads Flicktail, "Guess we stay here till tomorrow, and I am unsure just, talk to her or maybe I can or Dorarose can try, she threw a rock at me so she may dislike me a little, she will need someone to care for her now..ideas?"
Flicktail says, "I dunno...but DoraRose be such a..gentle beast"
Leon says, "Well,..yes I know, look Flicktail you did nothing wrong if Maleifcus was going to slay beasts and do harm in the abbey, you did the right thing to kill him and if he attacked you also..right thing for self-defense, I mean weapons in the abbey...sounds like he meant to do a lot of harm"
Flicktail leans back and then heads to the Inn.
Leon sighs and stays in the Tavern awhile and finally after an hour gets up and heads to the infirm to check on Cera.
