The Wedding of Kentar and Garnet

Characters: Kenter, Aikuen, Will, Amy, Fira, Garnet, Kluner, Racky

Location: Mossflower Woods, Moledeep

Mossflower Woods: Clearing

Its a nice sunny day, and everything has been setup in a nice private, yet beautiful clearing. Kentar has set up a little alter type thing in the middle and a few benches for the guests's to sit down on. Not that there are any guests. He is all dressed up for today, standing next to the big white thing he made. He's wearing his suit of armor, which he promised to get rid of in a few days, rapier at his side as usual. Garnet isn't here yet, she's waiting off somewhere, waiting for her cue to come to the alter type thing.

Aikuen runs up to Kentar, for somewhere in the woods. For this occasion, he is wearing his blue tunic, and he tugs at the sleeves as it is a little hot, and he is not used to it. He smiles as he bounces on his footpaws toward the stoat, "Sorry I'm late... But doesn't look like i missed it... at least i hope not..." he chuckles slightly as he goes to stand under the alter type thing. Giving a wink to Kentar, "Looks nice mate!

Fira makes her appearance right after Aikuen, though at a much more relaxed pace since she just walks into the clearing, looking around it with some approval as she heads for the benches. She softly smiles at Kentar "Really good" adding to the last bit of Aik's words since that's all she saw.

Will stops at the entrance to the clearing with Amethyst to describe the set up to her briefly before joining the others. He's not dressed very nicely, just in his usual tan trousers and a white shirt, but he's did make some effort to clean himself up for the occasion anyway.

Kluner has been here the whole time, he has just been hiding in a bush. As everybeast gets here, he finally decides to make his appearance. Stepping out of the bush in his clean shirt, he looks around at everything. He blinks a few times, and chew his tail, as he walks up to where Fira is sitting, and climbs up on the bench next to her, still a bit far away though. His fear of otters has been slowly ebbing away, and he doesn't want to sit alone.

Amethyst enters the clearing in her blue dress with staff in paw and slowly makes her way towards the talking voices. She finds a bench unexpectedly and clumsily climbs over it to continue walking toward the voices.

Kentar looks towards Aikuen as he runs up, the stoat laughing a little. "We were waiting for you." he smiles. "And thank you. I did my best on everything. You've got no idea how happy I am that today is here." the stoat looks over the area around him. Fira gets a smile and then he looks about for the best beast, Will, and maid of honor, Amy. He blinks a few times and then remembers Kluner should be here, looking around for him too. The stoat sees Amy and Will first, smiling widely at them and motioning them to the spot where they should be standing, hoping they have the rings he gave them earlier in the day. Kluner also gets a big smile and a motion over to him. He knows the standing is for those involved, but he knows Kluner doesn't like to be near the otters. Now Garnet is the only one that needs to join them.

Aikuen takes a deep breath, trying to remember his lines... There is not a lot of them, but still. He gives a small wink to Fira, and blinks at Kluner as the weasel sits next to her. He watches the two rats walk up to them, and hides a laugh as Amy comes in contact with the bench. He now bounces on his footpaws, waiting on the bride.

Will nods to Kentar and helps Amy find where she's to stand before he goes to take the spot the stoat has assigned to him. The ring he's in charge of is in his pocket. Amy has no pockets so she is holding the other ring tightly in her paw.

Fira settles herself on the bench and watches the others arrive, though Kluner she doesn't spot till she feels the bench move when he sits. She offers the little weasel a smile and a small wave, trying to be extra friendly before she glances round again, keeping an eye out for Garnet.

Kluner has been keeping one eye on the otter since he sat down. When she waves, he nervously waves back and smiles a bit. He then looks back to where the center of attention should be, and sees Kentar motioning him over. He just thinks its just wave, and he waves back happily. He laughs a little bit, and rubs his tail in his paws. Not knowing what exactly is supposed to be happening, but his father looks happy enough.

While the others watch for Garnet Amy listens for her arrival. She clutches the ring tightly so as not to lose it as she waits impatiently. Her next new dress will have pockets she decides as she tries not to fidget too much.

And finally, Garnet starts down the makeshift isle way. She's dressed in a pretty white dress, but its not really big or extravagant. Just something nice. She carries a thing of flowers in her paws as she makes her way to Kentar, smiling widely still. Kentar just watches and folds his paws in place, the stoat rocking back and forth a little on his footpaws, looking at Garnet with a nervous smile until she stands next to him, both turned towards Aikuen.

Aikuen smiles at them both, "All ready? Okay!" He clears his throat and looks to the sky for a moment. He then looks back at them. First at Kentar, then at Garnet... and begins, "We are gathered here on this summer day, to join these stoats... Kentar, and Garnet..." He looks and motions a paw at each in turn, "...In the bonds of matrimony..." he takes another deep breath.

Fira smiles wide as the ceremony finally begins. She's not in the best position to lip read but Aik she can follow and she's hardly going to complain. It's the stoats day and she's happy to watch quietly.

Kluner, as the ceremony begins, starts to rock his footpaws back and forth. He just watches, with head tilted... So this is what a wedding is like... hmmm!

And it's started. Will watches Garnet come up to met his brother and grins at the stoats as his father begin to talk. He listens and watches while waiting for his cue to give up the ring in his keeping.

Amethyst listens as the otter begins the ceremony and waits for her cue, trying to look happy for the stoats sakes even though she'd rather be sitting down then standing.

Kentar smiles and takes Garnet's paw in his gently as Aikuen starts to speak. He looks at his love for a few moments before looking back to Aikuen, waiting for the otter to continue.

Aikuen smiles to the both of them, and continues on, "If anybeast here... should think why... that these two should not be joined in marriage... speak now... or forever... hold your peace." He eyes each beast present. Aik has no reason... and hopefully no other beast does either.

Fira gives everyone else a little glance but she's not really expecting anything and certainly doesn't object herself.

Will certainly has no objections and can't think of any reason why anyone else would. He keeps quiet and waits for the next part.

Kluner becomes confused at this. Why do they have this part in the wedding? It doesn't make since. The little weasel has no objection, and looks to the others, wondering if it was just something they say, or do beasts actually object to it?

Amethyst is also quiet. She doesn't hear any other objections, things must be going well.

Kentar smiles as he looks around, no one objecting was a good sign to him. He nods back at Aikuen when no one objects, waiting now for the otter to say the two can go ahead with their vows.

Aikuen nods when nobeast objects, "Nobeast? Good!" He clears his throat one more time and looks to Kentar, "Okay Kentar, go ahead with the vows you have written..." he blinks a few times as that may not have come out right. He mentally wishes Kentar luck so he doesn't mess up, like he just did.

Kentar smiles softly then nods, turning towards Garnet. He takes a few deep breaths and then her paw in both of his. He looks into her eyes and starts to speak. "When I first met you, I pushed you away because I wasn't ready to love again. And I'm sorry for that. But after I was taken by the fox I realized something." he pauses. "I realized then that I loved you. Nothing will ever change that." the stoat speaks quietly. "When I came back, the first thing I said was that I loved you. Nothing has changed since then." he motions to Amy to give the ring over and when he has it, he looks at it with a great big smile. "I love you. I promise to always love you, and I promise to always put you ahead of myself or any beast else. I also promise to always protect you and be there for you, whenever, wherever, you need me." he slides the ring onto her finger.

Aikuen blinks a few times at Kentar and gives a small wink. He sighs, and looks to Garnet, "Alright... Garnet, now its your turn..." he smiles a little. Have to pat Kentar on the back after this is done

Garnet smiles back at him as they turn towards each other. Sure, his words weren't all that great but she knew that it came from his heart and that's all she ever wanted from him. The stoatmaid watches as he slides the ring onto her paw. "Kentar. From the moment I first saw you, I was in love. I didn't know you all that well, and it wasn't how you looked, but how you spoke to me, and how you saved my life." she says. "But when I got to know you, I found a sweet, kind stoat. But one who was also rather arrogant at times. I loved it all. Nothing ever changed that, and nothing will. And now that we're parents, of both Kluna, and soon, another stoat..." she gently pats her belly. "I love you Kentar, I always will." she goes to take the ring from Will. "With this ring, I too promise to be there for you, when and wherever you need me to be. I love you." she says, sliding his ring onto his finger before they both turn to Aikuen, nodding.

Amethyst had given Kentar Garnet's ring after some prompting from Will when she missed the non-verbal cue. She rolls her blind eyes at this over sight as the wedding continues and Kentar gets his ring without any problem.

Aikuen covers his mouth, as Garnet speaks, and coughs a little bit, trying to hide a laugh. When she finishes he clears his throat again and looks to them both... waiting a good long while... just for good measure. And then he goes to finish, "By the power given to me, by you two... I now pronounce you..." another good long while, "husband and ..." Once more! "...wife..." He grins and laughs, "Well... What are you two waiting for... Kiss each other already!" he steps back a bit, and continues to laugh.

Garnet doesn't need to be told twice. As soon as the two stoats are facing each other again, she throws her arms around Kentar's neck, giving him a great big kiss. Kentar was caught off guard for a moment before he returns the kiss, wrapping his arms around her. The kiss lasts a few moments before its broken. "There. All done with." He grins before looking to Kluner. "Well! Get over here Kluna!" he smiles wide.

Kluner hears his name being called. I guess its over now, It was nice! He jumps off the chair and runs to his father and mother, giving a hug to Garnets leg, and wrapping his tail around Kentar, "Hoorahs! Yahs! Is its overs? That was its?" he asks still locking his arms and tails around the stoats.

Aikuen smiles at the stoaty family, and says, "Congratulations to you both!" he keeps a grin on has he asks, and tugs at his sleeves "Its a little hot... Can i sit down now?" without waiting for an answer, he goes to sit next to Fira, giving her a small chuckle. Then back to Kentar, "Where is the cake? I heard there was cake!"

Will chuckles at the weasel, "Looks that way." He hears the otters mention cake. "Yeah, I remember you said there'd be cake."

Kentar laughs and then nods. "Go ahead Aik." he smiles before looking to the rats. "Thank you both for your parts." he smiles before placing his paw on the back of Kluner's head. "Yeah! I said there'd be cake." he smiles. "Come on you little devil." he goes to pick Kluner up onto his shoulders before taking Garnet's paw. "Its all set up at Moledeep!" he grins. "Leave everything here, the beasts who set it will return later for it." he nods, starting off home with Garnet, paw in paw.

Kluner yays, and wraps his tail around Kentar's neck, "Cakes? I likes cakes!" says as he is carried off. Just think, one season ago... he was a lowly pirate... now he has a family!

Amethyst nods at the stoats thanks, "Glad t do it." as she leans on her staff and lowers herself to the ground to sit a while before heading back.

Aikuen watches as the stoats, and weasel leave them. He takes Fira's paw and mouths something. Fira smirks at his words and lightly smacks him on the chest, going to get up and drag the older otter to follow her. Aik uffs has he is smacked, and shakes his head as he is forced to go with her. He cant eat the cake... and soon they are both in the woods, following the newly weds.

Moledeep: Mole Hall

After only ten minutes of walking, the group arrives in the moledeep hall. Inside is all set up. The table has a nice long table cloth, there's a big white cake with pink and white icing. Set on the table are goblets with strawberry cordial. All very cold, meaning it was set up recently. Kentar leads them in and motions around for them to take seats. "Find a seat everyone!" he smiles.

Will and Amy come in at last and take seats at the table. Will helps Amy to a seat before take the one beside her. He watches the otters but has no idea what they are doing so he doesn't join them in their odd behavior.

Kentar and Garnet get a plate, place their paws over each other's, then take the knife and cut the first piece of the cake, the stoats laughing and smiling. The first piece, goes to the best man, the plate being slid down the table towards Will. There's a second piece cut, one for Amy. Then one for Aik, Fira, Racky, and then their slices. Oh, and there's one for Kluner as well. "Now! Everyone. Sit down, enjoy the cake and the cordial, and. Thank you all." he smiles then sits with Garnet, the two starting to nibble on their respective pieces of cake.

Aikuen get his piece and sets it in front of him. It looks SO good... But he knows what will happened if he eats it. So instead he grabs his glass, stands up and raises it in the air, "To Kentar and Garnet! May there stoaty-ness live on forever!" he takes a fake sip of the drink, before sitting back down, and looking to Fira who is enjoying the cake greatly. He places the glass near the cake and just stares at her. The cake looks twice as good now... Fira can since she is being stared at, and she looks to Aik. She nudges Aiks cake a little bit... then goes back to her own. He wish he could eat it...

Kluner is sitting near the stoats, he was already at his glass even before they said we could. And when the cake arrives in front of him, he almost literarily dives right in. He takes huge hunks in his mouth as he enjoys the cake

Kentar pauses and looks up at Aikuen, smiling, chuckling quietly. "Thank you Aikuen." he smiles before finishing off his small piece of cake. He then peers over to Aik's piece and then chuckles. "Why are you not eating the cake, Aik? Am I not a good baker?" he asks, laughing.

Amethyst was nearly as quick as Kluna to dive into her share of the cake, though she did wait til the toasts were done first and took smaller bites. "This is really good cake," she says between bites, "Who made it?"

Will grins over at Kluna, "Don't choke yourself." He laughs as the weasel doesn't seem to have heard him at firs, "Kluna, slow down it isn't going anywhere."

Kentar also looks towards Amy. "I did." he chuckles with a smile. "Glad you like it."

Amethyst ahs, "Well aren't you full of surprises, Kentar. Thought maybe Garnet or Fira made it."

Will shakes his head at his nephew laughing, "I see that. You'll have t get a bath later t get that cake off. ... At least you waited a little and didn't steal th cake so ya could eat it all."

Kentar blinks. "It won't kill you Aikuen." he smiles. "Go on, dig in! I'm not that bad of baker." he laughs, then smiles at Amy again. "There's more for another piece if you would like." he then looks at Kluner. "Yeah. A bath. And sadly, I think I'll have to be the one to give it." he laughs.

Kluner claps his icing coated paws together, "Yah baffs! I like Baffs! I still likes Cakes more!" as he goes to finish his piece. He says, "Yums! Mores, please!" He holds his plate out.

Aikuen takes a deep breath, "I'm not saying your a bad baker... i just cant eat it... its hard to explain..." he sighs and looks to his piece longingly

Kentar frowns a little and sighs. "Go on Aikuen, please eat it. IT really won't hurt you." he doesn't understand the reason Aik is declining. And he just cuts another piece for Kluner, setting it on the plate. "A dibbun who likes baths...haha, I could never have picked a better son." he smiles and laughs, before looking evilly towards Aik, trying to get him to eat the cake.

Kentar gives the otter a great big smile. "Thanks! I do my best." he smiles. Garnet is just enjoying her pieces of cake and Kentar gets Amy another. He sits back down and downs the rest of his drink. "I enjoyed that cake. It was quite good."

Aikuen polishes off his piece, and says, "I have never tasted better..." Then there is noise, it sounds like glass and water being mixed in a bowl... coming from the otters stomach. Aik curses loudly and jumps up from his chair, causing it to fly backwards, as he makes for entrance, holding a paw over his mouth. Fira sighs and runs off toward the sleeping hall. She soon returns with Aiks flask, and runs after her husband.

Kentar smiles wide then blinks. "Aik? Aik! Are you..." he watches the otters vanish. One reappears then vanishing again. "My cake made him sick." he sits back and sags into his chair. Garnet pats his shoulder. "Don't worry love. Its still really good."

Moledeep: Outside

Aikuen runs out of Moledeep, and runs as far as he can from the entrance as he can before he has to stop and vomit. It has some traces of cake and water... buts its mostly blood. He continues to do this for a bit, clutching his stomach until Fira gets to him. She rubs his back while handing him the flask. Aik takes the flask, and in between vomiting takes a swig. He grunts and yells a bit as the medicine heals the damage the cake did to him. He stands there with his paws on his knees, until he knows that all the vomiting has stopped. Fira begins to give him a talking too... she has seen this happen to him before... and she hates it when he does it anyway.

Kentar stands up. He pats Garnet gently then goes outside, following the otters before stopping. "Are you alright Aikuen?" he asks. "What happened?"

Aikuen looks up, and he just looks like death, as he has gone much paler(if you could tell). He takes a few stuttered breaths and places a claw on Fira lips to stop her from talking, as she doesn't know that Kentar has arrived. Aik points at the stoat, and she crosses her arms. Aik takes another breath and starts, "Ugh... before let me just say... your cake was amazing..." he takes another breath, "Remember back on our trip... when i gave you that medicine... when you wouldn't eat... Remember i said, that that was only a supplement for real food... and eventually your stomach will just refused to digest food altogether..." He points at himself, "I know that... I have it..." He sighs and looks like he is gonna throw up again, so he turns back to his pile.

Kentar sighs and nods a little as the otter explains it. "Well. Thanks about the cake. And. I am so very sorry. I didn't know. I. I wouldn't have made you eat the cake if I knew." he scratches his ear and feels real bad now.

Aikuen shakes his head and looks back at the stoat, as it seemed to be a false alarm, "It was complexly my fault... and i should know better..." he holds a paw against the side of his face, so Fira cant read him, "It was totally worth it... it was absolutely amazing... OW!" he rubs his shoulder as Fira elbowed him in the shoulder hard, for hiding his words. Aik looks back at her and says, "I'm sorry..." She crosses her arms again.

Kentar smiles and laughs. "Well Aikuen, you can have more cake any time you want." he smiles, but then he sighs. "Still. I'm sorry."

Aikuen waves a paw at him, "Thanks, all the same... but don't fret... ill be fine..." he looks back to Fira and smiles a little bit, rubbing her shoulder, "Thanks you... you knew exactly what to do..." She frowns at it, but then she cant help it and smirks, but her arms are still crossed. Aik chuckles a little bit and looks back at Kentar, "Go back inside... i don't want the others should see me like this... tell them ill be fine, and will be back in later...Go have fun on your day... ill be fine..." He smiles a little bit, and then leans carefully back on his knees.

Kentar smiles softly and places his paw on the otter's shoulder. "I'll see you inside then." he smiles. "I bet the cake is gone. And if it is, I get to go give a little dibbun his bath." he laughs before turning to go back inside.

Aikuen smiles, "I should be back in soon..." He looks to Fira, "Soap in mouth again?" She smirks and nods and walks off toward the Well. Aik groans, as he hates having his mouth scrubbed. Only way Fira will let him kiss her again...

Kentar goes back inside to see where Kluner was. "Kluna...come out, come out, wherever you are...time for your bath!" he laughs a little.

Kluner has finished off his piece, and was going over to the bigger cake to dive in. He then hears Kentar coming to look for him. He epps and laughs jumping off the table, hiding under the chair his mother is sitting on. His tail slowly swishes behind him, as he licks the cake of his paws.

Garnet had fallen asleep in the time Kentar was gone and now he's left to deal with Kluner. He saw where he went, but pretends not to. "Kluna!? Where did you go? You were he a second ago."

Kluner laughs as he comes out from under the chair, "Im stills here! I wants my Baffs now! Its all stickys..." he places his paws together, and pulls them apart, and they are definitely sticky, "Kluna no likes... hards to climbs trees!" He is still pretty much covered in cake.

Kentar laughs and smiles, the stoat still in his armor, so he's not worried about picking up the weasel, which he tries to do. "Heheh." he smiles. "Maybe I should toss you into the pond for all your cake eating." he grins.

Kluner laughs as that sounds like fun, "Yay! Ina pond! Ina pond! But i is fulls of cakes..." he burbs, "Yeps... all fulls" he gets picked up and can see himself in the armor, "Heys, I can sees Klunas! I do's need a baffs!" he laughs.

Kentar laughs and smiles, setting the weasel carefully in his arm. "Then to the pond, you dirty rascal!" he chuckles, walking off for the pond. "So Kluna. You enjoyed the cake?" He smiles.

Kluner nods and says, "Yeses... I likes cakes... I nevers got any on da ships... I had to sneaks it, cause da never gave any to me... I likes cakes!" just for emphasis.

Kentar laughs. "Well Kluna. Once a week, I'll bake a cake and you can have the first piece." he smiles. And when they reach the pond, the stoat takes off the young weasel's vest, leaving him in just the shorts before tossing him into the pond with a loud laugh. "Swim around for a bit, I'll be back in a minute." he smiles before vanishing.

Kluner ecks, as he didn't expect to be tossed in. He swims around in the water for a bit, before breaching the surface and swims on the top. Then he goes to one of the sides and rubs the cake out of his fur. He is still sticky, but he is no longer a cakey mess anymore. He hears a little bit of grumbling coming from the well. He look over and sees the otters by the well, and one is foaming at the mouth spitting something. The weasel shrugs and goes back to swimming. Otters are now weird... and scary.

Kentar comes back, dressed in only a pair of swimming shorts. He dives into the water with a big splash then swims over to Kluna, holding out a bar of soap, and a washcloth. "Time to get clean!" he grins. "But...I know you don't want to so. Maybe, I'll just have to clean the water." he starts rubbing the soap over the surface of the water, then drying it with the cloth.

Kluner rolls his eyes and goes to grab the soap, "Your sillies fajer... gives me thats! I knows hows to clean myselfs!" he grumbles a little bit.

Kentar laughs and grins, giving the soap and wash cloth. "I know, I know." he laughs. "I'm just trying to have a little fun." he smiles but after a moment, he splashes the weasel, then pretends nothing happened.

Kluner has begun to wash his arms, and then he is splashed. He shakes his head viciously, and says, "Hey, don't do that!" he laughs and splashes him back.

Kentar acks as he is splashed then he grins. "Don't do what, Kluna?" he asks. "Don't do this?" he splashes the weasel again. "Or...this?" he splashes even harder. "You need to tell me what not to do!" he laughs.

Kluner spits water from his mouth, "Argh! Neithers!" he splashes him back, as hard as he can, "Kluna is tryings to gets the stickys off! No more Splashies!" he grumbles a little bit as he goes back to washing. He doesn't like to be bothered when he is washing. Wait till he is done... he will be willing to play after that.

Kentar laughs at the weasel. "Your the very first dibbun I've ever met to actually like to clean himself." he smiles but just floats around on his back, leaving the weasel to the cleaning.

Kluner gets up and stands in the shallows, so he can wash his tail, "It was the only's things that theys aloweds for me's to do on da ships... They didnts want to washes... so they gives the soaps to me's!" he yays, as he goes rinse his tail in the water

Kentar nods a little and smiles. "Ah. Well then. I'm glad. Saves me a bucket load of trouble." He smiles. "Just. Just until Christopher or Janet is born." he smiles to himself then closes his eyes, drifting around some more

Kluner washes his face, and head as the last thing. He places the soap and cloth on the side of the pond. He goes over to where Kentar is and says, "Chrisober? Janats?" he hmms as he wraps his tail around his fathers leg, "Hows longs till theys borns?" as he drifts along with the stoat.

Kluner blinks a few times, "Ok's... Fajer?" he hmms and lets go of the stoat with his tail. He swims to the side and sits on the side, to make sure the stoat doesn't drown or anything. But soon, he lays on the ground curled up in a ball, sleeping away the rest of the day.
