The Squirrels That Weren't

Characters: Aikuen, Fira, Garnet, Chris, Amy, Will, Kentar

Location: Moledeep

Moledeep: Outside

Its just morning, and Aikuen and Fira are outside, just walking and talking. They both seem very happy, as they pad along the outskirts of the forest, holding paws smirking and laughing. Its a good day. They woke up very early and left Garnet with Chris today, as she seemed to be wanting to be out and about, but Aik wont let her yet. No other beast was up when they woke, but that has probably changed by now, as they have been outside for a very long time. They get to the tree with the platform on it, and Aik tugs on one of the ropes. Fira just leans against the tree, as Aik explains what it is for. She smirks, and looks up at the platform. Aik takes this chance and goes over to her, and presses her against the tree, "Now, I owe you one..." he grins as he goes to nibble on her neck. She is not surprised at Aik's sudden attacks anymore, though she does laugh a little bit at the nibbling.

After a bit, Fira pushes Aik away and tells him that she will start on lunch, and they will have a picnic outside. She gives a small kiss before heading off toward Moledeep. Aik smiles and goes to sit down by the tree to wait for her. He hums to himself as he paws one of the ropes in the tree. Its a happy day.

Amethyst woke up in the infirmary some time after the otter had left and sent Will to the kitchen to fetch breakfast, while she showed off her ring to Garnet and played with the baby. She knew the ring shouldn't have cost as much as Will said it had but decided not to tell him that just yet. And maybe with some luck the others would keep quiet about it as well for a at least a little while.

Will had brought breakfast in as asked. Afterward he and Amy went to take a walk out in the rose garden.

Aikuen was about to take a little nap, when he hers the dirt being turned up. He blinks awake and looks to the Entrance Tunnel expecting to see his wife, but instead he can see the rats exiting, and heading off toward the garden. He tilts his head at them, wondering if they can see him, as basically he has yellow fur compared to the brown tree. They seem to go off in another direction. Guess they miss him. He hmms as he was about to go and doze again, when curiosity gets the best of him. He chuckles to himself as he goes prone and follows them to the rose garden.

Will sits down by the rose bushes and guides Amy to the spot on his right, neither are aware of the otter.

Aikuen is about 3 meters behind them, hiding in some tall grass, just in listening distance. He is too happy, and feels really silly, so he takes one of the many sticks and places it on his back. He covers his mouth to prevent from laughing as he thinks, 'be the bush'. He is going to listen and watch them for a minute, before raining down on their parade. If they ever had a parade.

Amethyst begins to tune her lute and asks Will, "You are aware that iron isn't /really/ expensive?"

Will shrugs, "Well, when I said expensive I meant for me. It took all th money I had."

Amethyst rolls her eyes, "And here I thought you'd got cheated. Which you probably did anyway, though not as bad as I first thought. You do know you are an idiot don't you?"

Aikuen tilts his head as they begin to talk. Iron? Did Will buy Amy a weapon? Don't know why you would buy Iron other than for weaponry or armor. He silently hmms, as he scratches his chin. And then has to place his paw over his mouth again, as Amy calls him an idiot.

"Yeah, I think I've heard that before. From /you/," Will grins.

Amethyst plays with her ring a little, "It /is/ pretty even if it isn't gold, like I asked for." She smiles at him and plays 'My Rose of Old Redwall' on her lute, very fitting being in a rose garden and all.

Will stretches out on the grass just listening to her play, "If you want gold you probably shouldn't be marring me then. I just told you I spent what money I had already."

Aikuen blinks a few times. An Iron Ring? He hmms aloud, which is good that Amy started playing her lute, or it might have been heard. Then Will said that next part, Now it becomes interesting.

The music stops briefly as Amy swings her staff at Will, she misses but returns back to her lute rather than trying to hit him again. "Don't do that anymore," she says picking up the song where she'd left off. "I wonder what the otters will think when they see it," she muses mischievously.

Will smiles a little, "And this is why I'm glad they were awake long before you were."

Aikuen shakes his head. The otters won't care anything about the ring... as they have both giving up on anything the rats do anymore. As for the money part... He hasn't thought much about it as he hates money in general. Aik thinks Fira might have gotten back by now. So he starts to crawl backwards, when the stick on his back falls to the ground and he steps on it with a loud snap! By instinct he drops to the ground looking ahead. If Will looked his way, he will still be hidden in the grass.

Amethyst's ears move toward the sound,"Hello?" she asks experimentally.

Will's ears had also moved toward the sound and he waits for a response, in case some beast is actually there. His paw moves to the hilt of his sword out of habit as he waits to see if it was just the wind or there is really a threat of some sort just out of sight.

Aikuen hears the 'Hello' but he remains quiet. If he can get away silently as he can, as the rats may not like it that he eavesdropped. Then through the blades of grass, he can see Will put a paw on his hilt. He snorts a little bit, and reaches for a small rock and toss it behind the rats. He launched it blindly and probably overshot it, but it should work as a distraction.

Amethyst blinks as her ear flicks now the new sound. "Was that a nut or something? Probably squirrels or something overhead," she shrugs and starts up another song not much caring what it was.

Will looks up at the trees at the mention of squirrels, "Maybe. .... or rocks. ..... stupid tree-rats."

Aikuen tilts his head and picks up another rock and chunks it at Wills chest, as he is not looking at him anymore. He is having too much fun, and will just take the heat from then later. He covers his mouth and directs his paw toward the trees to bounce of them, "HeeHee! Me no Tree-Rats! HeeHee stupid Rats! HeeHee!" he says high pitched, and chunks another rock.

Kentar happens to be in one of those pointed out trees. And he's hiding of course. At watching Aik toss rocks, he grins to himself and picks an acorn, throwing it down at Aikuen.

Will is a little conflicted on the one hand he would very much like to get the 'squirrel' that's throwing things at him but on the other he's not good at climbing. He mutters curses on the tree-rats under his breath and helps Amy to her feet. "Time t go in. Starting t /hail/ out here."

Amethyst doesn't have the same opinion of squirrels as Will and so is more inclined to head for the tunnel entrance.

Aikuen laughs silently at Will, and then he is hit with the acorn. He rubs the spot where it hit, and then becomes alarmed, as he thinks real squirrels are really here. Disregarding the rats he stands up and draws his serrated dagger, walking forward toward the trees, keeping a look out.

Will lags behind Amy trying to get a glimpse of the 'tree-rats' so he can finally put his hours of sling practice to good use.

Kentar looks at the rats then makes his voice come out high pitched. "Funnah ratta an' ottah! Tee-hee!" he chucks an acorn at Will, careful not to hit Amy, then also chucks one at Aikuen. "Tee-hee, nevah gonnah getta us tree-rattas!"

Aikuen gets a bearing where the 'tree-rat' is when he hears the high pitched voice. He cant see them yet, but he has a good estimate. He doesn't need a sling to hunt squirrels as he places the dagger in his teeth, and walks slowly forward toward that tree he thinks they're in.

Kentar giggles wildly. "Nevah gonna catcha tree-rattah, nope!" The stoat laughs and sees Aikuen climb his tree. He doesn't see the dagger though. He picks up another acorn and chucks it at the otter. "Norra come closer! Nope!"

Amethyst stands below the tree with the wooden platform now listening to the otter since the 'squirrel' seems to be mostly targeting him now and she somehow lost track of Will.

The stoat throws another acorn at Will, then turns around to see the otter flying towards him. "Aik!" he says before he takes a step back, falling right from the nice tall tree, the stoat screaming and then landing with a thud on the blind side of tree, the stoat out of view of both.

Will watches Aikuen climb the tree, he'll have to ask the otter to teach him how to climb like that. He's hit with another acorn and turns to go to get Amy, who isn't that far away, and go in when he hears the 'squirrel' call Aikuen's name with the stoat's voice. "That is not funny!" he calls out to Kentar as he moves toward the tree to better see what's going on.

Aikuen was in midair, when he notices the Stoat, "Kentar?" too late, and the stoat falls out of the tree. Aik manages to hold onto the branch, so he doesn't fall as well, But then he hears the loud thud. Good thing it wasn't that far off the ground. He slowly drops himself from branch to branch, until he is on the ground again. He walks around the tree until he espies Kentar. He drops the dagger and runs over to him, "Kentar!" and he drops to the ground to get a better view of the stoat.

Kentar is out like a light, his left shoulder looks dislocated, his nose is obviously broken, and he's not moving.

Amethyst only has a vague idea of what's going on and walks toward the otter's yelling. "What's going on?! .... What'd Kentar do?" she asks worriedly.

Will hears Amy and hurries back over to her walking with her to where the otter and stoat are. "Kentar was throwing stuff at us not a tr- squirrel an Pa went up th tree t get th tree-rat we thought was throwing stuff but I guess it turned out t be Kentar instead an then there was a crash. I think he must 'ave fell out of th tree," he explains to her as they walk over to join the otter.

Aikuen instantly goes to work on the stoat when he knows he is still alive, but completely out. It's not that bad, compared what could have actually happened. He places his paw on the shoulder and can tell its pooped from its socket. He moves Kentar over on his stomach, and place the paw on the back of his shoulder and pulling the arm back forcefully. He pops back in with a pop. He then flips Kentar over again, and props him against the tree, "Don't do that mate!... Geeze... You could have died... I could have killed you... Don't do that..." Yes, the hypocrisy. He places his thumbs against the stoats nose and pops it back into place. The pain from that should wake the stoat, or else he will need to get a splash of water on him.

Kentar yelps out as his nose resets. He woke up alright. "Ow." he groans a little. He looks at the otter, the stoat covered in blood from his nose. "You know Aik. I guess beasts really do fall for you." he chuckles quietly. "Ow." He blinks then shrugs. "Right. Yeah. Sorry. I saw you throwing rocks at Will, so I wanted to throw something." he grins a little but even that hurts.

Aikuen sighs with relief, and pats the stoat on his good shoulder, "Oh mate... I wasn't in a tree though..." He smiles back at the stoat, and pulls out a handkerchief, "Here mate... sorry I startled you... I really thought you were a squirrel... Are you alright?" and begins to clean up the blood.

Will sighs a little, the stoat is fine and it seems the otter had been spying on him /again/. "What is it that makes otters want to spy on us so much," he says smiling some before asking Kentar, "You ok?"

Kentar lets the otter clean him up then looks at Will. "I'm sorry Will for throwing the acorns. Just figured I'd get back at Aik for spying on you." he smiles then chuckles quietly. "I'm alright. Just. Sore."

Aikuen looks to Will, as he totally forgot about the little Rat. He blinks a few times and shrugs, "Yah... I was spying on you... cause I was bored... and then you guys started talking... and I got bored again, so I tossed rocks at you... didn't know the sneaky stoat was in the tree..." he plops down next to Kentar when he is done, he looks to him and nods, "Ah good..." and he shoves the bloody cloth into his pants, to be washed later.

Amethyst smirks, "Oh. So you were bored and heard us talking? Isn't that interesting. I was bored yesterday too and heard you and Fira talking. Funny how things work out like that, isn't it?"

Kentar chuckles a little then sighs as he looks down at his stained tunic. "I'm going to go change. Will. When I'm done, can we talk?" he asks.

Aikuen blinks a few times, and becomes alarmed again, "Er... How much did you hear?" He knew she was home, but thought she would stay away from them... guess not. He is not really embarrassed about anything that they were talking about... it was the other thing that alarmed him. He then looks to Kentar, good! He is trying to change the subject from Him and Fira.

Amethyst shrugs, "Not a great deal. Wasn't /that/ interesting. I mainly just sat with Kluna and talked with him while he drew more pictures. I'm told he's quite talented at it."

Will nods at the stoat, "Yeah. That's fine. I'll wait for ya t get back."

Kentar nods then looks at them before going off to go get a clean tunic.

Aikuen mentally sighs. Oh good, she didn't hear everything... Ah good..."Well we're both pretty boring otters... Yep.." Then once Kentar is off, he looks to Will, "What's wrong? Why does he want to talk to yah?" Hopefully it's nothing that will ruin his day... he is too happy right now... and he likes it.

Will chews on his lip thinking about what he will say to Kentar when he returns. He looks over to Aikuen and says, "It's nothing. ... Just a misunderstanding. It's not a big deal."

Aikuen tilts his head, "Well... As long if your sure it its not a big deal..." He is just letting it, whatever it is, just blow right over him. He probably doesn't need it... and doesn't want it. He looks to both rats before getting up and dusting the dirt from his rump. He is going to go check on Fira, she is probably back and wondering where he is. But before he is off he looks to Will, "If yah need me... I'll be by the tree with the platform..." he starts to walk off, "Hey Amy, Nice Ring..." and he walks off.

The stoat returns after a while before looking to Will. "The rose garden?" he asks, tilting his head a little. "I'd like to say something in private," he chuckles, smiling a little.

Will nods, "Ok. Just a second." He turns to Amy, "Why don't you go talk t Pa a while or something. You know where he is."

Amethyst smiles, "You are asking me to go bother otters now? I can do that." She walks off toward the tree with the platform where Aikuen had gone to earlier.

Will nods as Amy leaves then turns back to Kentar, "Ok. Anywhere's fine. Lead th way."

Kentar nods then walks towards the rose garden.

Moledeep: Rose Garden

Will follows the stoat to the rose garden and sits down on the grass. "What'd you want to talk about?" he asks.

Kentar sits next to Will. "What. What happened last night Will?" he asks. "When I gave Amy her necklace?"

The rat knew this was coming. "We ... we were surprised you could say. We never could have expected you or any beast t do something like that. I mean that amulet was gold an real valuable. I know ya said you got everyone something that nice, just we aren't used t beasts being able t spend money like that and on us. I guess. Sorry for acting th way we did. It was unexpected." Will smiles hoping the stoat will accept his answer and let it go at that.

Kentar thinks for a few moments. "Will. Is there anything else?" he asks. "I mean, no one just slams the door because they're surprised," he says.

Will isn't sure how to explain this part. He knows what he was feeling at the time was similar to what he'd felt at times when his Ma had had suitors over. He sighs and says, "I did get a little mad I guess when I saw what you'd got her. I know I didn't have a good reason for it but it just kinda happened. I even thought at first that she wouldn't like what I'd got her cause it wasn't as nice as what you got her." He doesn't know if Kentar's seen her ring yet or not.

Kentar nods a little and quietly sighs. "Will. I'm sorry I made you angry." he says. "Well. Jealous I guess." he knows now. "Can you afford things like that?" he asks, just wondering a little randomly.

Will looks at the stoat, "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have got mad at you or well not at you really but I shouldn't have acted like that. I don't mind that you got her something nice. And the short answer would be no. I have no money. I almost never have money. ..... didn't need much before when it was just me alone in th woods or later at th Abbey. And Pa always pays for everything most of th time when we go anywhere ... course th first time we mostly went t taverns. That was a long time ago, last Winter in fact ... not too long after I came t Mossflower and I think he might not have been here much longer himself either at that time."

Kentar chuckles a bit then nods. "It's fine Will, I shouldn't have overstepped." the stoat then nods a little. "Will. If you don't, why don't you think about a job or something?" he asks before grinning a little. "In fact, I have an idea. When I get the forge up and running, why don't you help me? I'll pay you for the help, then you can get what you want?" he offers. He is his brother after all.

Will chews on his lip some, "I won't mind helping you some if you want but I don't know. I got a trade already. Wouldn't hurt t know another one but it takes time t learn and I should work more on th first an second ones before I get too involved with a third one."

Kentar chuckles a little. "Will. All I will ask is for you to go on supply runs." he smiles then stands. "I won't get you to change your trade." he laughs before going off. "I'll see you back inside."

Moledeep: Outside

Aikuen and Fira are sitting underneath the tree. There is a blanket under them as they share scones and water, except the food is being ignored at the moment. Aik is holding Fira in his arms, as they are locking lips again. He chuckles at Fira as he looks into her eyes after a good period, "You have beautiful eyes... I can't keep mine off them..." he laughs as he gets his favorite smirk in the whole wide world. He is just about to go in again, but he sees the rat-maid off in the distance coming toward them. He chuckles as he says, "We're not alone... again..." and gives her another long one before letting her go, to wait to see what Amy wants, "Hiya Amy... What's going on?"

Amethyst smiles, "I have been asked to come talk to you so Kentar can talk to Will without me around, even though I know what they're talking about. I was there when it happened. Anyway, have you seen the what Will bought me yesterday?" She holds out her paw to show off her ring. It is a simple iron band with a molded image of a paw holding heart set onto the top. A closer look by a beast familiar with such rings would recognize this as one half of a gimmel ring. The other ring that makes up the other half has the mate to the first's paw and when joined together make a popular form of lady's wedding bands.

Aikuen takes Fira's paw then looks back to Amy, "Yah I saw... it's really nice." he has seen many rings like this, owned a few himself. Never had one in iron though. Actually never had any jewelry in Iron, but he guess it was okay. It's the gesture that counts, "I'm guessing Will has the other ring... Must have cost... er... alot..." He shrugs. Fira has gone to rest her head on Aik's shoulder just watching them both. Aik grins and then frowns, "Er what is Will and Kentar... umm... What is it? He said it was nothing... It better be nothing... or else he will be lying again, and I told him not to do that too his elders... But I trust him enough..." he shrugs one more time, and sighs.

Kentar comes from the gardens and runs his paw through his head fur slowly. He smiles at the otters. "I don't mean to interrupt you beasts, but Aik, Fira. I got you your vase yesterday. It's in the storage chamber. Oh and Fira and Aik, I also got you two something for later." He smiles then goes quiet, sitting down somewhere.

Aikuen can see Kentar coming toward him, so much for their privacy... That went flying out the window... He sighs and pokes Fira on the nose, pointing toward Kentar, "Ah so the stoat arrives..." he squeezes her paw, and then answers Kentar, "You did? You actually got me the Vase..." He chuckles and nods, "Thanks matey... We'll go and check it out later... then move it too our room!" he smiles, "Something more? Really, Ooo. matey What yah get! What yah get!" He chuckles like a Dibbun, and Fira smirks, bumping him in the ribs.

Kentar looks to the otters and nods. "oh Aik, it's no problem." he smiles. "I'll help you move it. It's huge." he chuckles then nods. "Well. Give me a sec so I can go get my pack." he says, going into moledeep for a few moments.

Aikuen nods, "Okay mate!" He looks To Fira and says, "Oh goody! A big One! Tee Hee!" Fira rolls her eyes, and smiles faintly. Aik would normally be lovey-dovey With Fira. But Amy is with them... Oh well... He gives Fira a small kiss, and he had to make sure he was quiet, But he doesn't care a lick anymore. Fira kisses him back and smirks before going to rest on his shoulder again.

Kentar goes and takes his pack before coming to the otter's and rat again. "Well. For Aikuen, I got this." he pulls out a long necklace. Its a long leather cord, tied together to go around the neck two or three times and hanging from it is a golden otter head. "For you." he smiles. "I thought it would look good." And in fact, it should.

Aikuen watches Kentar return, then he sees the necklace, "Wow..." he is speechless as he takes it, and places it around his neck, looping the leather in a way, so it doesn't clash with his War-tags. He then picks up the golden head and stares at it. He chuckles, "Thanks mate... Its wonderful..." He turns it over several times, and lets it flash in the sun, "Thanks matey! It looks great! Aww... I didn't get you anything..." he smiles, as he lets the golden head drop to his chest.

Kentar chuckles. "You're welcome. And you don't need to get me anything." The stoat then grins at Fira. He pulls out a lovely silver necklace, just plain silver but he also brings out for her two silver bracelets that match perfectly. He hands them over to her and smiles before meeping and pulling out a lovely gold tailring for her as well. "I'm not entirely sure what it is." he says. "But I've seen otters with these sorts of things on their tails lots of times."

Fira watches Kentar taking out the jewelry. She is not one to wearing a lot of it, but she does for the stoat. Plus it looks nice all the same. She grins as she starts to put them on, "Aww, Thanks Kentar... you're too kind!" She stands up after putting on the necklace, and bracelets. So she can put on the tailring, like how otters are supposed to. A little bit up the rudder, about three-quarters up the way to the root. After laying down the fur that stood up when it was disturbed, she gives the ring a twist so it stays on. She goes out and spins a little, like she has seen others do, "Well? How do i look?" she smirks at the others. Aik smiles, "You look terrific! The tailring suits you!" he chuckles

Kentar chuckles and smiles, nodding at Fira. "Oh, it quite suits you." he smiles, watching. "So. I bought everyone something. I got Will a necklace he wanted, I got you two those things, I got Kluna some paints since I know he likes to make pictures." he smiles. "I got Racky something as well. Amy got a nice gold necklace too. I got something as well so everyone got something from me." he smiles wide.

Fira smirks at Kentar, before she flops down next Aik again, letting her new jewelry loudly jangle. Aik grins a little bit as he reaches around and tweaks at Fira's new tailring. She eeps, and then lightly slaps Aik on the chest before laughing at him. Aik grins and looks back to Kentar, "Thanks mate! But all I wanted was the vase, Why are you so generous all of a sudden? I mean its not bad, just don't want you too lose all your money... because these must have cost a fortune" he rubs at the gold, on his new necklace.

Kentar chuckles. "Well. I do have a fair bit of money." he says. "I sort of. Stole some while I was away after that fox tossed me into the river." he says. "I got a lot after that. So, why not spend it on others?" He smiles. "I finally just got a time to use it. Instead of keeping it all hidden."

Amethyst had sat down shortly after joining the otters. She hadn't had a chance to respond to Aikuen's question before Kentar appeared and started passing out gifts to the otters. Naturally the rat-maid couldn't see the gifts but she assumed, like the amulet now in her bag, they were very nice gifts. And apparently Fira had been given among other things a tail ring and some other jewelry that clanged together. And the otters had gotten the vase they'd asked for as well.

Aikuen nods, "I can Understand that..." except for the stealing part, "And hey, if you ever need or want anything... At all. Just ask me! I wonder if the market has got anything... The one up north" he smiles a little, "Thanks again mate!" Fira knows why Aik is acting strange at this, but she keeps her mouth shut. Husband/Wife only secrets. Aik tweaks Fira's rudder again, as he likes the tailring on her.

Kentar nods then chuckles, grinning. "Oh you're more then welcome." he smiles before yawning a little. "Hm. Excuse me." he chuckles.

Will walks up to the group from the rose garden after some time. He waves a little at the others and sits down next to Amy. He doesn't say anything but seems to be in a good mood.

Aikuen tilts his head, "Tired Mate? Garnet is up an about, if you want to go see her. She is getting a little antsy, because she is still confined to the infirm. Bet she will be glad to have so more company, besides her son of course!" Aik smirks, as he is trying to rid himself of non-otters, so he can have more alone time with his Wife. Fira can sense that, and she leans into her husband resting her head on his shoulder. Not a great plan... but it might work. Unless Will comes and joins them... Well it was nice while it lasted, "Hiya Will!" he doesn't ask what happened, as both Kentar and his Son, both seem to be a in a good mood. Must not have been that bad.

Amethyst starts up a rousting shrew song unaware that the otters wish to be alone. She sings along with the lute's melody, "Pull, Boys, Pull! O we're the sons of the roarin' shews and a logboat is the home we choose. O, pull, me bullies, pull! Now we can stamp an' we can fight An' paddle logboats day and night. Pull, boys, pull! I was born in a stream on a stormy day, So I jump on a boat and paddled away. O, pull, me bullies, pull! A paddle's me son an' a boat's me wife, An' the open water is me life. Pull, boys, pull! O, I can scoff an' outfight you, I'm the paddlin' son of a roarin' shrew. O, pull, me bullies, pull!"

Kentar nods and stands. "Yeah. I think I'll go see her." he smiles. "Need to give her her gift." he chuckles before going off into moledeep. "Cya all."

"Hi. See Kentar gave ya th stuff he got ya," Will says. "Sorry about sending Amy over t bother you but couldn't just leave her standing in th middle of th gardens."

Aikuen waves at the stoat as he leaves, "C'yah Kentar, Tell Garnet I can cover for her tonight with Chris!" he smiles as he goes to settle back with Fira. Then Amy starts up her song, and he sighs, going to play a little claw wars with Fira. Something to do while he waits for the rats to bore themselves, "Eh it's okay Will, We enjoyed her company all the same!" he smirks, "Well you could have left her... But that would be mean!" he chuckles, "So... What did you guys get from Kentar?" he lets out without thinking. That's not they way to bore them... well it might be.

"Eh, Amy got some gold amulet necklace. It's in her bag," Will says. "And since he wanted t get me somethin so much I had him get me this," he pulls out part of the slim iron chain from under the collar of his shirt, "I kinda need it anyway but couldn't buy it myself by then so I let him buy it."

Amethyst finishes the song and starts up another loud song. She just listens to the sounds of th notes this time and doesn't sing along.

Aikuen nods, "Nice, goes well with Amy's ring." He sighs and takes one of the forgotten scones and nibbles on it. Fira takes one end of Aiks and rips off one side to eat for herself. Well, they might as well eat something while they wait. Aiks asks, "Have a good time in... wherever you went too?" As the name he couldn't read on the note, "And I heard you got me the vase... didn't think you would actually get it, Thanks mate!" he hmms, as he loses a round of claw wars, And Fira 'Ahas!' triumphantly.

Will smiles a little, "That's why I got it," he pulls the chain all the way out from under his shirt since the ring on it has become uncomfortable to wear against his fur. He's a little unsure what the otters probably think of the rings but while he'd like their approval he and Amy are determined to go through with the wedding weather any beast approves or not. He sighs a little not really wanting it to come to that and he nudges Amy a little, "I think we'll be heading in for a while. Want t see what Kluan thinks of his gift and stuff."

Amethyst shrugs and puts her lute away as Will helps her to her feet. "I guess we're going in then." She waves a little at where she thinks the otters are as they walk off toward the tunnel.

Aikuen says, as he waves, "See yah Amy! Will!" he chuckles a little bit, as he pulls Fira close to him, "Ah... Now we are finally alone!" It has gotten to a point about the rats that they both don't really care what they do anymore. Just stressing about it, is just not something their going to do anymore. And you never know, they may approve in time, besides it's the rats' choice anyway. Fira smirks at him as she goes to kiss him, scooting closer to him, placing her paws behind his neck. Aik laughs kissing her back, "Now... Where were we?!" he reaches around and tweaks her rudder again, before going to hold her in his arms. It's still a good day!
