The Clouds Look Like Food Today, So Let's Raid The Kitchens!!
RW Abbey: Pond
The abbey pond is practically the place to go for relaxation. The orchards that settle onto one side of the water hole provide decent shade for the more heated months to come. Various types of wild flowers grow about the edge of the ground that lightly overhangs into the pond. The pond seemingly invites one into its cool depths, which holds its fish life and multiple species of shrimp and other water dwellers.
Like small boats trailing down a stream, the leaves of autumn float across the chilled pond. Rippling it with the movement from them. The vegetation has begun to fade, to shrink back towards the earth as autumn takes hold of this small serene area.

Caleb decides to take a walk by the pond today, its a nice day after all.
Cynthia is sitting by the pond watching some sparrows argue over worms, she makes a face and shakes her head "Of all the things to argue over, gross"
Caleb walks up beside her and smiles "Guess sparrows like to argue over worms, a lot of their speech includes the word worm after all" He grins a little.
Cynthia looks behind her and smiles "Hey Caleb, you’re not in the kitchens for a change taking a day off?"
Caleb nods "Yeah, as I have done a lot in the kitchens lately and I was able to make the veggie pastries for supper later." He sits down beside her "So how is your day been?"
Cynthia says, "A quiet day, an early music lesson and then not much the rest of the day. Spring is soon or least I think it is, never know with some weather"
Caleb says, "Weather is just adjusting maybe to being warm soon and staying warm is all"
Cynthia says, "I guess, I heard your parents are back. Everything ok with them, no like troubles or anything?"
Caleb shakes his head "No, not that I heard of anyways. mentioned a boat and I might get to go see it. Him and some hedgehog was going to go check on it before it went back where ever it’s from. Guess checking to make sure nothing was left on the boat."
Cynthia looks at a lone leaf still around as she nods "Yeah that wouldn’t be good to leave anything behind as most likely would be something missed easily or just seriously needed"
Caleb says, "I wouldn't want to leave anything behind"
Cynthia says, "I wouldn't either. Gee I do hope nothing was left on the boat and if it was it will be found and returned to whoever it needs retuned to"
Caleb nods "Guess that’s what they are making sure of..ya know, so it doesn’t like happen or something"
Cynthia lays down and looks at the clouds,"I have noticed it is slowly starting to be a little less cold, just a little and today clouds are nice looking, like puffy white not an ugly grey color."
Caleb smiles looking at the clouds "Yeah nice clouds today, look one shaped like a flower. Maybe a sign flowers will be around soon or least start going soon."
Cynthia tilts her head trying to figure out a shape “I think one looks like a rock or maybe some bit of mashed potatoes even"
Caleb blinks "What?...Clouds can't look like food. I think one looks like....ummmm, a bunny ear maybe or maybe it’s a paw waving to use" He chuckles.
Cynthia smirks "They can tooo...like one looks like a carrot, ya know for that paw, or maybe cause it's close to dinner time and I didn’t eat much lunch." she watches some clouds break apart, "One looks like an apple now"
Caleb laughs a little, "Guess every cloud is food to you, I don't see an apple, not sure what it is but not an apple..rock or seeds maybe. Yeah seeds for ping season that’s soon also"
Cynthia grins, "Hey I see food ok and you see whatever. Wait seeds can be food or later become food so there" She sticks out her tongue at Caleb.
Xander is exploring, exploring the abbey when he spies the two other beasts and walks over to them. He stops close by and stays quiet for now.
Caleb rolls his eyes "Whatever." He does not notice the badger yet as he watches the clouds "Well maybe that one is a pear...or apple, great now I see food clouds"
Cynthia laughs and points to another one" A mushroom, a bowl of..cherries and maybe cake, hee heee cake cloud" She senses movement and the badger is spotted, "Oh...hi there"
Xander looks confused "They are clouds, why would they look like other things, that would be odd and strange and...Hello" He smiles "I am Xander, I is new here, who you?"
Caleb sits up "Just something fun to do, see of the clouds make shapes and what the shapes look like."
Cynthia nods"Yeah like food cause I am hungry and need a snack." She frowns "Ok..cookie clouds mock me" She smiles at Caleb “Think we can get some pie?"
Xander smiles "Cookies! I can climb up and get the cookies. I like to climb. You get a chair and then get to coiner top, open cabinet and push things to back and use to climb up higher to the cookies and then you get carefully down"
Caleb frowns "I don't know on climbing, that could cause injuries or a very angry friar Lacota."
Cynthia grins "I like this badger and he said he be careful. Besides we only want a couple each or one each and then pie of course. I think he made an apple one"
Xander chuckles and heads off. He is not gone to long before he comes back with cookies. He has clearly ate some of them and got maybe 3 each for his new friends. “Cookies"
Caleb frowns and sighs "Lacota won't like this, he will get upset"
Cynthia smiles, she sighs "It will be fine, you can make replacement cookies for him. Now I think we need some greensap milk and still that apple pie" She gets up "Race ya to the kitchens!"
Xander giggles and heads after Cynthia when she stats to rush off.
Caleb sighs as he goes to follow them. Ok replacements and replacement pie, right....oh well this could be fun and he does like some fun and soon goes to join them in this..kitchen crime?
