Hey, there seems to something fundamentally broken with this page where I can't edit it - is there a way to delete this? I made a new page (Friar Lacota) that works just fine - OlRandom

I tinkered with maintenance scripts and it seems to have resolved the issue with the page. It appears there were like 20 other pages with a similar problem, and hopefully they are all fixed now. Since the page is editable again, I created a redirect to the new page instead of deleting the old one, in case you want to merge the two. Let me know if you find anything else that went wonky with the db migration/update. -- Aeysin

Alright! I merged them. Unrelated to the update, the character box template is broken and I'm not sure how to even begin fixing it as I don't really know much about wiki templates in general. Is there anyway to fix that? - OlRandom

So the Template:CharacterBox was a very old project by somebody who no longer plays the MUCK / works on the wiki. Whether it can be fixed is kind of a "maybe". It has 2 parts: The character info (works), and then the bit below which was meant to pull up logs involving that character (broken). I replaced the extension used to build the log section with a working version, but the current code relies on a namespace that never really got put to use on the wiki. Back in 2016 we thought the wiki would be a primary place for log posting, and they'd go under a namespace like Log:Title of Log. It's kind of complicated... and most of that functionality can be achieved using Categories. While it would be very cool to see something like this working in the future, I have a few projects in queue and don't have time to tinker with it right now. So my recommendation is to delete the broken logs part of the template, but keep the character info part. The extension used to create the broken template section is DynamicPageList3 if you want to look at the documentation. Or if anybody wants to play with it in the future. -- Aeysin

Alright, good to know! I will take a look at the extension to try and understand it. Also, the character box looks much better; thank you! I did try (keyword try) to fix it a month or so back but gave up when it became clear i had no idea what to really do without breaking it further - OlRandom
