Scioto Learns the Truth(Marek's Revenge TP)

Scioto is by the pond, no one else is around. Then again no one wants around the feline woodlander or vermin.

Lee makes his way over from the main gate. "Good day, Scioto..."

Scioto eyes narrow and he turns around, "Good day? Good day...not been no good day for a very long time, what do you want?" He sounds grumpy and his tail goes back and forth.

Lee shrugs. "I suppose yer angry at me for defectin', still, hmm?"

Scioto growls, then folds his arms over his chest," Why? It was bad enough most of the ones I bring with me died or died later on! Then the ones still alive, you know what? They joined him! They joined Marek!" The name Marek is said with mush distaste.

Lee nods. "An' then so did I... Ye know, Lorimis was quite angry wi' me, too..."

Scioto ears go flat, "Well that’s good ta know. You’re the head guard and you join Marek...why? Don't you are for your friends, this..abbey?" His tail wags" Though I grow tired of being here, it is..annoying here now. I never liked visiting much tell the truth then I am stuck here"

Lee studies Scioto. "Do ye wanna know the truth, sir? The honest truth?"

Scioto eyes narrow, he looks ready to claw the otter, "You may as well speak, not like anyone will come near me. Abbey beasts or Marek's beast both have been growled at "

Lee frowns. "Scioto, I joined Marek's horde in order ta take 'em down... from the inside. Honestly, I'm 'urt that ev'rybeast thinks so poorly o' me ta think I'd just roll over ta Marek like that..."

Scioto arches an eyebrow, "To take him down from the inside?" The cat looks like he is starting to have just the smallest spark of hope now, "So you have plans then on just how to do this?"

Lee nods. "Yes! I do!" He lowers his voice as a couple guards head past toward the Fire Pit. "Oy, I know where all the weapons be 'idden... An' I got Martin's Sword back, too..."

Scioto blinks "You..you do?" His voice stays quiet, "This is not a trick is it?"

Lee shakes his head. "No, it ain't. The Sword I 'id under me bed, nobeast will think ta check there..."

Scioto looks Lee in the eyes as he speaks to him and studies him closely, he checks to make sure no one is around, "I have decided to believe you, unless you prove me otherwise. You said you know where the weapons are hidden? How...sheer luck? cause if so my blade is there"

Lee shakes his head. "Zork tol' me. Gave me the key, I think 'e stole it from a guard."

Scioto hmmms, "I did see him, over a week ago..Looked rather peeved off, it could have been then I do not know..he was talking to a guard I think he punched them out, no clue I don’t keep up to date with going ons at the abbey. So..one keep that sword under the bed till it’s time for a take back and let no other beats have it, just you..so the badger going to help with the take back?"

Lee shakes his head. "Afraid not. Zork's warrior days be behind 'im. Leon tol' me that any new fightin' would kill Zork..."

Scioto looks confused "Kill him?..Ok also you need to update me on what’s going on" He frowns "I admit I have avoided all beasts and stayed away from everyone, including Marek, expect when he demanded coins from me for Tax"

Lee nods. "I'll keep ye in the loop. I be plannin' a revolt 'ere in the Abbey... Very soon."

Scioto nods, he puts out his paw" Count me in, I am still a friend to the abbey..yes I grow tired of being here, but it doesn’t mean I hate the place, I do not want to see it stay in Marek’s control any longer"

Lee grasps Scioto's paw firmly and shakes. "Oy, I be glad for it, sir. Ev'ry bit 'elps."

Scioto grins and nods, "Just let me know when this begins. Any ones who can’t fight need somewhere safe..Lorimis for sure needs somewhere safe, And Oz..any Redwall higher up still here does, as we things start happening their lives will be the ones most in danger."
