Recently stumbled across [1] YouTube channel, and while the time frame is much later than the medieval setting adhered to by the Redwall universe, a lot of the cooking would likely transfer, with differences based on region and culture. It really helps add another layer to your character, whether they're a Redwall chef or just a wanderer making a breakfast at the campfire.

He does a lot of reenacting stuff, which is also cool, but [2] is a link to his playlist page, so you can go straight to all the cooking episodes. All eight seasons of them, plus some odds and ends.
