Plague Update - Jan 12th

Jan 9th

- Death count: 19

- Darcy the healer and Colonel Zoe_Lang decide to send some beasts on a quest to find the herb Goldenwort, which is thought to be a possible cure. Major Darklett is put in charge of this quest and begins to select beasts to accompany him.

Jan 10th

- The healers choose to no longer let a death count be known, for reasons of morale. However, all the specifics of the plague are still being recorded.

- Major Darklett and his group leave on a quest to Southsward to search for Goldenwort.

- Beasts continue to get sick even in healthy zones. For the sake of Mossflower, the decision is made to quarantine the entire abbey. Anyone is still welcome to come in but those who are inside are not allowed to leave until the quarantine is lifted.

Jan 12th

- A play is performed in Great Hall in an attempt to increase the morale and general good cheer of Abbey beasts. It is written by Tameus, with the help of Sivaine, and called "Colonel Wameus and the Ridiculous, Revolting Pirates". It stars Tameus as Colonel Wameus, Novice Bradge as the doe Delilah, Sivaine as Nerdez the Foppish Fox, and Colonel Zoe as Kessy the One-Eyed Pirate. It is by all accounts a smashing success.
