Phase 3 Begins (Bolts of Choas TP)

This happen Tuesday Night Aug, 6th ICLY, as a couple involved couldn't be on and I will be OOCLY busy on Tuesday Night..anyways here's the log so enjoy=

FV:Town Center

The gravelly path through the village gets wider the further into the village it travels until at the center of the village it splits off into four around a large firepit just waiting for any excuse for a feast or celebration and still showing the bones and a few broken mugs from the last one around the edges. A large longhouse for meetings has been built on one side of the road, standing important, decorated with carved wood, shields, weapons, furs and a large skull over the door with the large similarly fearsomely decorated house of the chief sitting proudly beside it.

Meek in comparison across the road a smaller wooden building bares a misspelled sign over the door naming it the 'Infermery'. A few trees dot the edges of the clearing but buildings take over in most directions, only the north showing some vegetation within the village walls. To the west houses seem to spring up and take over the land while noise and masses of beasts take over the south around the market and shops. Down the eastern trail the village gates can just be seen with the tavern close by.

Scioto is walking along, it's been a couple days since he has taken something to regain his memory and he has decided to try some more tonight, some memories of before he came here surfaced, still they helped a little but he decided to not worry on trying too much tonight and so is slowly heading home and seems to have a bit of a headache.

Shadowfur watches Scioto from where he is off to the side of the path, he looks around as not many out tonight and he walks towards the Chieftain, "Ello Chieftain" He says softly, "Ya ok there?"

Scioto stops and glances over at Shadowfur and nods, "I am fine, just tried tonight, nothing to worry about"

Shadowfur offers a smile. "Well perhaps you should get home or, least get inside somewhere, no since in being out it is rather late, even for you correct?"

Scioto shrugs, "If I remember correctly, I would sometimes go out late for, patrol duties course tonight I feel rather tried, long story but I will be better after I go home, get a meal and sleep, tomorrow we can talk maybe if needed."

Shadowfur frowns," Do you need help to your home, I could even get one of the guards to help as well. What do you say?"

Scioto answers, "I should be fine just going to my house, I do not feel that bad tonight where I can't walk a short distance"

Shadowfur nods slowly, "If ya say so sir, but I am sure it be wise and I did hear the village defenses were to..be a bit more alert, I also need to discuss some issues of supplies at the Mill, a short list for you to look over tonight, please, then you can have the rest of the night to relax and be ready for tomorrow."

Scioto sighs, "Fine but it will need to be quick, let’s go, the sooner I get this done the sooner I get rid of my headache"

Shadowfur seems to agree and lets the Chieftain go first and then follows.

FV:Chieftain's Home:Main Room

The inside of the home is large, a door leads to the sleeping quarters and another to a kitchen area. This room has a large window looking outside with nice navy blue curtains on it. The floor is wooden and a large fireplace keeps the room warm in those cold months.Above the fireplace is a large painting of the Chieftain and his mate.In the room also is a table and a few chairs to sit in.A large bookcase is by a far wall with many books of all kinds on it.

Rafe wanders into the home, after being called over to -help out- he nods to Shadowfur and Scioto as they enter and waits quietly for now.

Scioto walks on in and goes to check on something in another room and returns shortly afterwards and nods, "Alright now, where is this supply list, is something needed or are we low on anything?"

Shadowfur nods to Rafe and looks at Scioto, "Oh we are fine on cornmeal and wheat, we even have barely and some rice, a little low on some oats but it will be ready by the time fall begins"

The guard, Rafe, stays where he is and snorts some "All talk of supply, this is boring, want unboring now"

Scioto raises an eyebrow at Rafe as he listens to Shadowfur and nods, "Seems all is in order, is that all you needed to let me know of tonight?"

Shadowfur smirks, "No there is one matter of importance to tell you of Chieftain Scioto, you seen it’s important to plans"

Rafe grins, "Yeah, plans that the boss has"

Scioto looks between them and now becomes a bit more alert, " What do you speak of, you will tell me and that’s not a request, it’s an order." His voice stays calm.

Shadowfur chuckles dryly, "Phase 3 of course my dear feline" He nods once and a couple rats show up behind Scioto.

Rafe grins, "You will enjoy phase 3, Marek will for sure"

Scioto doesn’t see the two rats and draws his sword now and glares at Rafe and Shadowfur. "You will leave my house and village right now, or be sorry you didn’t"

Shadowfur grins "You see I can't do that, well I can leave your home but not the village" He nods again to the rats.

Rafe growls "I only listen to the boss and you’re not my boss, Marek is"

One of the rats takes the flat of his sword and does a quick move to knock out the chieftain, while the other laughs "Phase 3 is fun" " Yes you will enjoy it" " Tons of fun"

Scioto starts to go toward Rafe when a weak groan escapes him and he falls unconscious to the floor, his sword slides across the floor and stays by the wall

Rafe kicks the sword out of the way and waits for orders from Shadowfur.

Shadowfur smiles coldly, "Take him to the cave Rafe, and just leave the sword it can stay we can't let him have that can we"

The rat, Hook makes sure no other weapons are on the feline, while Nails takes his coin purse and chuckles, "That was fun" "Yes very fun indeed" .They then head outside.

Rafe picks up the Chieftain and takes him out quickly and into the darkened night, the location is very close, very close indeed.

Scioto is still out cold and will most likely be this way long enough to be taken where he will be kept for a while.

Shadowfur takes a quick look around and quickly leaves also before anyone shows up or if anyone is here wakes up.

After about half an hour Scioto wakes up and rubs his head. Luckily this time he remembers and stands slowly looking around and his ears go flat.

Rafe chuckles, “Kitty is awake Shadowfur”

Shadowfur walks up towards them , “SO I see Rafe, ello Scioto remember me?”

Scioto growls low, “What is the meaning of this Shadowfur, and Rafe you are supposed to be a guard not helping this liar I see before me, I demand to know what is going on and where you have taken me right now.”

Rafe rolls his eyes, “Yeah I guard, but soon not for you.”

Shadowfur explains, “See..our boss, our REAL boss wants you keep out of the way, his name is Marek, me and Rafe are not the only ones, nor are those rat brothers that knocked you out, so glad to see you have seemed to regain some memories, not that,that’s important, what is important is soon this village will be under the control of Marek”

Scioto narrows his eyes, “Marek will pay for this, oh yes I remember him he destroyed the tavern and from reports killed a guard and injured another, I have guards and other beasts who will come after you, and stop you and Marek.”

Shadowfur “You are in the least likely spot to be found, and Marek’s beasts have been in your village a while now, slowly taking over from the inside and me and Rafe are trusted by that fool hare you keep around as a healer, oh don’t worry we may keep him around as we will need some healing after all, course a blade could still-accidently- end up in his back, but that will be his fault, not mine”

Rafe chuckles coldly” Silly Oakenpaw said he trust me, trust me with his mate and dibbuns, bunny is dumb bunny”

Scioto may not have his sword but he can still fight and goes to attack Shadowfur, claws out.

Shadowfur was expecting this and sidesteps, “Oh please..”

Rafe watches, “I can go now right sir?” He asks Shadowfur, ” I hunger”

Scioto moves and goes to claw Shadowfur’s face.

Shadowfur nods to Rafe and then hisses as a large claw mark, 3 long marks, go from just under his left eye to the right side of his chin, he growls in pain as blood goes down his face and he spits, he goes to trip Scioto and glares “Ya dare try that again, I don’t care what Marek says your be dead.”

Rafe stops and then heads on out as he knows Shadowfur can handle this and he is still a guard and still on duty so off he goes.

Scioto is tripped but manages to keep his balance and glares at the ferret. He still has his claws out also.

Shadowfur smiles coldly, “I know, simply get cozy, you won’t be harmed and your even get food and water, Marek wants you to stay in good shape oh and one more thing, …try that with the claws or anything else again, ya lose something else, more valuable to ya perhaps… your daughter”

Scioto eyes widen, he glares as he sits down, he looks around at the tall smooth walls of the cave, no other way out it seems, he glares at Shadowfur, “ Your going to pay and be sorry you came to my village, know this you may be able to trick most beasts, maybe all of them with your lies, wait take that back, not all of them, there is Nightbreath. Have you met him yet, I am guessing not.”

Shadowfur chuckles, “Who is Nightbreath, friend of yours? I can trick anyone, I tricked the hare and the guards, Rafe has tricked the guards mostly and we both have Raymond thinking we are just so helpful, I am a miller after all and that’s not totally a lie but I am also Marek's right paw beast and I am good at being cunning and tricky”

Scioto smiles, that’s odd and even laughs like he could care less, “I feel sorry for I really do, well I am sure your meet Nightbreath probably sooner that your like to and he is not able to be tricked” He decides to keep the seer part to himself, let the ferret find that out on his own, lot more fun that way.

Shadowfur shakes his head, “I am not concerned, see I came to see you, check over a list but you were gone oh dear…oh let me help you find the chieftain, and while your Head guard who, oh yeah will be tempary chieftain, takes guards and some others to find you, a fake path to a fake lair what will even have willing to die beast under Marek command meanwhile Marek does the last of what’s needed to gain control of the village, if Raymond doesn’t die outside the village he will once they learn they were tricked and returns hmmms,….Head guard Shadowfur and Chieftain Marek, nice ring to it huh?”

Scioto shakes his head, “Good luck with that, and if you do meet Nightbreath do say Hi, if you manage to get hi out that is.” He smiles.

Shadowfur snorts and says something as a long rope drops, he ties it to himself and it’s taken up with him, a faint door is closed and some noise is heard, the only possible way out is a good 50 feet above, the walls are very smooth and slippery on top of that, no way to climb and even get to the locked trapdoor, that’s hidden from sight above as well .

(couple hours later)

Rafe is guarding, but not the village as that’s a little later, he glances over as Scioto wakes up.

Shadowfur walks in from another direction as there is a back entry to the cave it would seem, "So how are you today, sleep well?" He smiles coldly.

Rafe stands “Need me to do anything?”

Scioto just watches the two.

Shadowfur smirks “Go do village guarding”

Rafe rolls his eyes, "Guard this, guard that..here and there, whatever"

Shadowfur shakes his head, "Then go elsewhere for a while"

Scioto asks, "You guys come here to argue with one another or tell me something?"

Marek steps out of the shadow. "Well actually I came here to tell you something" He clears his throat. "To tell everyone something, actually" He reaches into a pack and holds out a plate. "Scones?"

Rafe stands at attention now and watches the stoat

Shadowfur blinks as Marek enters, "Boss, hello and..scones?" He changes the subject "We have the chieftain now"

Scioto sees Marek and glares, "You..I remember you, you destroyed my tavern"

Marek nods. "Yes I can see that, but before we get to talking we should getting to eating. So....scone?" He turns to Scioto. "Yes I did...Scone? They are blueberry and they are quite good"

Shadowfur seems unsure "I, am fine boss, so what’s the plan?"

Rafe shrugs and gets a scone, ok he is hungry and one can’t listen that way can they?. "Yeah..plans, evil plans right?"

Scioto folds his arms over his chest, "I do not think I want a scone, and if you think your get away with whatever it is your wrong"

Marek seems to almost ignore the requests and gives both Shadowfur and Scioto a scone anyway. "Yes, plans. Phase 3 is undergoing. Shadowfur, you will help Raymond with the search party for Scioto, I do not expect them to suspect anyone in Ferravale, but just in case, keep it away from here. Not everyone is on your side, and some people can be very tricky" He takes a bite out of a scone. "Rafe and others, for I do not know how good you are at acting, you must not seem out of place, it is okay to be your vermin self in a village, but do not make yourself appear evil. Am I clear?"

Rafe nods "Course.." He frowns "I still have to like the hare, hate the hare hate it a lot but..fine" He eats his scone.

Shadowfur answers "Of course sir, I can report it tonight or tomorrow, he is missing and volunteer to help out, then we can see some real fun start soon"

Scioto glares, "You will fail at taking my village if that’s your plan, not all beasts can be tricked and there is more than one place to find help if needed"

Marek grins. "Oh, but I will. My plan is perfection" He takes another bite of scone. "And these scones are also perfection. I assure you, I did not poison them...I don't want you dead yet"

Rafe grins, "I should get back to village guarding, yeah that idea..hee heee no dead yet, good one" He then heads out slowly.

Shadowfur shakes his head and looks to Marek, " What if some get too curious of where the Chieftain is?"

Scioto has yet to eat, maybe later on, "And how long you planning on keeping me here Marek? And beasts will look for me and some will not give up till find me"

Marek frowns. "The wildcat is quite idiotic...don't you two think so? Ah well, I believe he understands his orders" He answers. "They won't think to look here, and by the time they do, you will live just long enough to have seen your village be crushed, and then I will crush you. You are nothing to me"

Shadowfur nods "And if anyone gets close, I will kill them and enjoy it"

Scioto says, "What do you want with this village and if you do manage to take it over, beasts in Mossflower will notice, the abbey, those..ranger beasts, and join together with others and stop you, a beast tried to take the village before and failed, and he have ravens and monitors..what do you have?"

Marek smiles. "I have the will, the way, and an organized plan. If I fail, which I won't. I will simply return and try again with a better plan" He finishes his Scone. "Your village will fall before me fool, for I am building an army, and when I take your village, it will be my base of operations. There will be no more peace, vermin will come far and wide and join my cause. Redwall will be overrun, and once I have Redwall, I will have Mossflower. And no one will stop me. Not you, not Redwall, not the pest of slaver group that has been plaguing this forest, not your precious allies to the west, and none will stand in my way. Do you hear me cat....the days of Mossflower are numbered" ,He leaves but before he does he turns to Shadowfur. "The cat is not be tortured or malnourished, and the hare is not to be eaten. Am I clear?...and make sure the tavern is rebuilt. When I am victorious, I want to celebrate with some ale. Good day"

Shadowfur bows ,"Yes boss and that was Rafe that wants to eat the hare.." He watches Marek go and waves to Scioto "Bye, will bring you food and drink later or someone will"

Scioto watches them all leave and he is alone, he glares at the path they took and decides to make the best of this, he is not planning on staying here long and when he is out he will be ready to fight, he starts to do some push-ups and sit ups, he plans to be ready both body and mind.
