One Otter Army
Continuation from I shot the sheriff. Derrin quickly finds out that he has just bitten off more than he can chew.
The horde beast camp seems to come to a pause. Did that otter really just kick Byron in the teeth! A half a dozen vermin are near by, unarmored but as horde beasts, always armed, "Hey you! Hault!
You room-page, "gah! not my best intro sorry"
Derrin bares his teeth in a growl, raising his paws as fists to defend himself. "Try an' stop me," He snaps back, his eyes narrowed as he faces the vermin beasts. Looks like he's in for a fight after all that trouble to avoid one.
The beasts look ready to tear the otter limb from limb. The longer they wait the more beasts that come pouring into this section of the camp to see what is wrong. Drakki is one of them. He spots the otter being slowly surrounded by his, correction, Kanezzer's rats, but ever since he had to take off on that campain well, he considers them /his/ rats. "Someone mind telling me what is going on?" The portly red fox says with a sigh.
Derrin continues to watch the horde beasts around him, the thought just now beginning to dawn on him that this might not have been the best way to go about doing this. "Poor old Byron passed out on me, and the next thing I know, all yer beasts are surroundin' me!" He suddenly exclaims. Hey, at least he's trying to work for his life.
The red furred vulpine cracks a smile. "You're a good warrior otter, but not a good lier." The fox gestures to his rats, "Kill him." The horde beasts don't hesitate at the order and charge as one towards the otter. The leading rat raises his axe in an over powered swing towards the otter's head. Something flashes by them however, heading towards the fire pit. The flames explode, burring blue for a brief moment before returning to normal and spouting out thick black smoke. The horde beasts step away from the flames, and some shriek in panic as a cloakced figure wearing a tribal woodan mask rushes forward, hitting the nearest rat with a quarter staff. "Derrin! Can't you and your brother go five seconds with out having me come rescue you!" Elise the otter snarls.
