Characters Involved: Novice Gero, Brother Miles (NPC Played by Astrid)

Location: RW Infirmary

After having been drunk most the the day...passed out, and waking up with a huge headache, Gero is quietly crying into his paws as he sits on the cot. Then finally, he stands, and starts searching about for Brother Miles. He needs...needs to get The brother to check his love once more...its...driving him insane.

Brother Miles is seated at the infirmary's workbench, and it is no surprise that he is... working!

Gero slowly...goes over and sighs as he goes over. "Brother?" he asks.

The mouse turns on his chair, arm resting on the back of it. "Hm?" On sight of Gero, his expression softens. "Yes, Novice?"

Gero Sighs. "I want you to Check Savannah again...Please..there's got to be something you've missed..." his voice is that tone to beg...he's begging, and Miles hasn't said anything else yet.

Brother Miles gives Gero a long, compassionate look, and nods. He stands and beckons for Gero to follow, leading the way into the recovery room.

Gero just about...Hugs the other mouse. Though, he would probably make the brother sick, since he smells like...lots...and lots of rum. He follows, hoping they find her alive.

The Brother has enough discretion that he pretends not to notice.

They come to as top at the curtained off cot where the body lies. Brother Miles pulls back the curtain, holding Gero back from entering. He closes the curtain behind him.

Gero sighs a bit, shaking, tears falling when he's not allowed to enter. "Just...Just..." stuttering...

There's no word for at least a minute. Perhaps Brother Miles hasn't found anything?

Gero sits down on a chair, shaking madly. There's no word. There's...nothing...which makes him just sob away. Is she really gone? Is the beast he loves so much, really, really gone? "I...want you back..." he sobs quietly into his paws.

There's a surprised little sound, and then... "She lives."

Gero looks up and...and stands up, throwing the curtain away, going over. "She's alive?"

Brother Miles is standing there. He just nods, stepping back from Gero. "She is, Novice. I will have one of the other healers come tend to her."

Gero gets into a huge smile...He's never in his life been so happy. He was sure he lost her forever. The novice then turns to Miles and gives him a huge hug.

Brother Miles is not one for overt affection! He makes a surprised sound and... pats Gero on the shoulder. "... There there." And he extracts himself from the embrace with a nod, going to disappear back into the main infirmary, to send in another healer after him.

As soon as the Brother left the hug, Gero quickly Drops to his love's side, tears of joy flowing down his cheeks. "I cant believe your alive" he whispers to her. "You've got to get better....please...oh please...." his words quiet, directed all at her.
