Long Patrol TP Reboot Date

This is a really long post. But please keep reading to the very end, it will be well worth it.

RIGHT! So, after a long discussion, and recent forum drama, I've decided to help get things together and bring cohesion to the MUCK by FINALLY announcing details of the reboot.

The TP is designed to include ALL players and characters who WISH to be apart. And if you don't want to create a new character, don't worry, this can involve Redwall Abbey as WELL as Ferravale should anyone want to take part from there.

This is not mandatory by any means, but is an open option for anyone who wants to play, to be able to.

There are a few rules though. Follow the rules of the LP group. Simple. The next one that's not so simple is that both styles of RPers will meet for really the first time. Pose limits? There wont be any. You pose what you're comfortable posing. Long paragraphs, short half lines. Whatever works best for YOU. This is made to get both subsets of players together for really the first time. But its made to be FUN too. No discrimination against pose lengths. That will be probably one of the BIGGEST things I'll be looking for. It wont get you ejected from the group right away, but I will point out to whomever does say anything that this is about everyone being together and having fun. Pose sizes DO NOT MATTER. General muck rules still apply of course :P But that's basic as they apply all the time.

Anyway, this is what's going to happen.

It will start out with a vermin horde, a large one, having taken over Salamandastron and driven the hares, as well as their resident badger, out of the mountain and into hiding along the shores, and surrounding areas. The TP will be about finding the hidden LP officers, contacting the Abbey for help, and plotting a large scale invasion to drive them free from the mountain again, which, if succeeds, can lead into the first Woodlander Vs. Vermin conflict for a LONG time.

Remember though, only Woodlanders will be trusted by the LP. Vermin? Aside from IC Flicktail, who the LP will still be distrustful of by nature, they will be considered an enemy so please keep that in mind. There MAY be some exceptions, depending on who you are and who the character is.

If you wish to be on both sides, that's perfectly okay too. But remember, this can generate some HUGE RP so just remember, the more characters you have, the less likely it is you'll be able to follow the action. Or at least for me anyway haha.

NOW. The biggest question is WHEN? Well, myself and a couple of others are plotting right now, so I say we wont be -ready- for the next week at LEAST. So NOW IS THE TIME TO VOICE YOUR THOUGHTS.

Pick from the various options below:

Monday to Sunday? Which day works best to START the TP? It will probably be in the evening EST to give everyone a chance to best attend and the time will be sorted out later.

Next, is date. What day? I'm aiming for between the 5th of April, and the 10th to be our start date. So pick a date that works best for you. Majority rules. Unless I'm working, but my work schedule looks hugely dead for this coming month.

Now, a last note on species.

I'm trying to keep this as book canon as possible. The LP in general which means only HARES can be enlisted officers of the Patrol. This being SAID, there are residents and other occupants of the mountain who are NOT -hares-. And they ARE welcome too, but can NOT hold officer rank or position, so keep that in mind!
