The First Row; "Abbey Heroes"

Near the grave, one can find the following notes:

Elbio
It reads:
Here lies Captain Elbio Hans Reed of the Long Patrol, who died in the line of duty serving the Badger Lord Ciocan as the Residential Long Patrol Hare of Redwall Abbey. A loving father and a promising young officer who suffered much in his life: may he be at peace forever now. Eulalia!
Near the grave, one can find the following note:
- Elbio H. Reed was promoted to the rank of captain posthumously following his death at the very end of the 29th Season of Lord Ciocan's reign, named the 'Summer of Fond Farewells' in Redwall & Mossflower Country. He is survived by an adopted daughter named Ciana. Though I only briefly served with him, he was a good and determined lieutenant and his lose has been felt deeply by not just the 67th Patrol in Mossflower but the Long Patrol as a whole. He will be missed. - Cpt. Lucia C. Barcid-Cadwallader, Current Acting Commander of the 67th Fur and Foot Fighting Patrol in Mossflower Woods as of the 30th Season of Lord Ciocan's Reign

Abbot Lorimis
It reads:
Here lies Lorimis, Abbot of Redwall Abbey: He was the best of us and led us through times both troublesome and full of peace. He shall be missed by all who knew him but never forgotten.
Near the grave, one can find the following note:
- Abbot Lorimis was a kindly old squirrel when I knew him. He was like a second father to me and many others in our fair Abbey. His presence will be gravely missed. He is seceded by Abbot Benar, the first of his name.
(OOC: Lorimis, a shared character, was Abbot from 2009-2015.)
Augustus
It reads:
Augusts, Brother and Friar of Redwall after the Great Quake. May he rest well.
(OOC: Augustus was presumably Abbot sometime after the Earthquake in 2002)
Brocmal

The Third Row; "Warriors"
Angelo
It reads:
We have also struck a Medal for the Ferret Angelo, who lost his life helping the Patrol and the Abby beasts in the battle of the Black Rose, it will be added to his tomb, in recognition of our appreciation. May Martin Guide him thru teh dark forrest.

- Heart changed, purpose fulfilled. The deaths he caused, overlooked. Forgiven by his actions, he is remembered by his actions. May not soul change that.

It reads:
Here lieth Turmal Fyrpels, who spent his last days high in the Abbey, and ended his life in service to it. May he rest in peace. b. 13 seasons prior to the Summer of the Exodus to Camp Willow - d. August of the Summer of the Exodus to Camp Willow.
Near the grave, one can find the following notes:
- From the brother of the Dear Departed: I was my brother's keeper, and I failed him. He reached out to me, his only hope for communicating his fears and insecurities about the world, and I abandoned him. It is said that he was killed not by who it was thought to be, but by an imposter and loyalist to the squirrelking Rayuwil Nidlorf. If such is truth, you may find me on my quest to avenge this tragedy. I will not return here, Turmal, until I have met success or have met my end in its attempt. -Mayeul Fyrpels, middle of the Season of Returning.
- From the healer and mascarera of the departed: I was told this was the gravesite of Athulus Z. Grayumn, who preferred I call him 'Z'Fingo'. It seems he has many names! I was honored to have the opportunity to try and bring some small measure of comfort to this mouse, whose face and paws were horribly disfigured by Drakon the owl, of whom I received many startling and detailed accounts from the dear deceased. If my small service allowed Z'Fingo, or 'Turmal', to walk about freely, I may one day rest in peace with him. -Gracia de Saricus, upon hearing of the death.

It reads:
R.I.P. a mouse. Found after the Battle of the Open Ground.
The Second Unmarked Grave
It reads:
R.I.P. a squirrel. Found after the Battle on the Open Ground.
Near the grave, one can find the following notes:
- This soldier was found with following letter to one 'Sordy'. -Tux, lieutenant, squirrel army of A--/va\=.
- 'My dear Sordy, we are stuck invariably in this mess of a place, and now making way for Redwall to protect the king. The food is good, but there is talk of a fox gathering the vermin in the area. I don't like it. I cannot wait to see you, and I hope that all is well with Trin and Boffie. Give them my love! -R/-/e' (name blotted out by water stain)
The Third Unmarked Grave
It reads:

The Fourth Unmarked Grave
It reads:
R.I.P. a squirrel. Found after the Battle of the Open Ground.
Near the grave, one can find the following note:
- Several pieces of paper were found with this unknown soldier, who, like many of the others, Nidlorf felt was too insignificant to identify. Paper shows wood-carved portrait of two young squirrelmaids and a mother. Family? -Tux, lieutenant, squirrel a/my of A//-v\le, overseer of lingering deceased.
The Fifth Unmarked Grave
It reads:

The Sixth Unmarked Grave
It reads:
R.I.P. a mouse. Found after the Battle of the Open Ground.
Near the grave, one can find the following note:
- Appears to have been a farmer. May he rest in peace for eternity in the gates of dark forest. -Oort, of Skipper Hallow's otter regiment.
The Seventh Unmarked Grave
It reads:
R.I.P. a squirrel. Found after the Battle on the Open Ground.
Near the grave, one can find the following note:
- This soldier was found with two toy soldier figurines in pocket, placed here next to the headstone. Initials underneath base of both read 'L.T.' -Tux, lieutenant, squirrel army of A-//v/-=, overseer of lingering deceased.
The Eighth Unmarked Grave
It reads:
R.I.P. a squirrel. Found after the Battle of the Open Ground.
Near the grave, one can find the following notes:
- This soldier found with following note from Rodigero, one of my own. Appears to have been a friend. Was seen in the battle lying beneath the king. -Tux, lieutenant, squirrel army of /rr-eva-=, overseer of lingering deceased.
- From Rodigero: Hey mate! I think the king is taking a special interest in me now, I'm with him hear at the abby - can't wait for you to get hear, but have a safe trip and well talk plenty about the good-lookin squirelmaids. Ha! They're right intelligin't too, but not so clever in the ways of ours back home. Anyhow, hope this finds you back at camp, with the food we thawt was good but stands up not to this stuff! -Rodigero, fancy new kingsman

The Tenth Unmarked Grave
It reads:
R.I.P. a squirrel. Found after the Battle of the Open Ground.
Near the grave, one can find the following note:
- This soldier found stripped of armor. Probably taken by a woodlander, after the battle. This one and a contingent of others was seen attacking the king's would-be assassin, under orders of Odilo. Still can't find the king's second in command. Met his end by the otters (never liked them). -Tux, lieutenant, squirrel army of A-r-/ale, overseer of lingering deceased.
The Eleventh Unmarked Grave
It reads:
R.I.P an otter. Found after the Battle of the Open Ground.
Near the grave, one can find the following note:
- Brave young soldier in my command, too young to have fate determine his end. Tux and his squirrelies didn't bother identifying him when they put him in, but I asked them for a description and turns out he was Barringer, survived by three great daughters, two stout sons, and a wife. Rest in peace, mate. -Oort, of Skipper Hallow's regiment.
The Twelfth Unmarked Grave
It reads:
R.I.P. a squirrel. Found after the Battle of the Open Ground.
Near the grave, one can find the following notes:
- Soldier was an unknown healer, picked up after the group had undertaken the journey to Redwall. The lad was trained by the other men, but he never gave a name or history. Found on top of the king, was wounded and died a fortnight later. -Tux, lieutenant, squirrel army of A-re-v//e, overseer of lingering deceased.
The Thirteenth Unmarked Grave
It reads:
R.I.P. a squirrel. Found after the Battle of the Open Ground.
Near the grave, one can find the following notes:
- This soldier was found with the following letter from a very young son named 'Ludwig'. Some of the men think this may be Meyerbeer the musician. Cannot confirm. -Tux, lieutenant, squirrel army of A\\-\/le.
- From Ludwig: 'Hi papa! Mommy sed tOO rite a ledder tOO U sO she and I cud gO tOO the messenger I dOnt nO if I spelld that rite she lyks tO gO see the messenger alOt and they hug alOt MOmmy tOOk us to see yOr music they playd gOOd and all the ppl clappd then mommy wuz sad becuz she cryd and sed she mist U. The Fourteenth Unmarked Grave
It reads:
R.I.P. a squirrel. Found after the Battle on the Open Ground.
Near the grave, one can find the following note: - This soldier was found outside the east wallgate. Had been stabbed by the foxes. Was able enough to tell us in which direction they had gone, then lost his senses and passed. -Tux, lieutenant, squirrel army of A/-/==le.
The Fifteenth Unmarked Grave
It reads:
R.I.P. a baby vole. Found after the Battle on the Open Ground.
Near the grave, one can find the following note: - Poor mate... we found you torn away from your mama, in the arms of a dead fox. Fox had decided to cut your little life a little shorter. Why? None of us knows, but we never got a chance to know ya. Wherever you are, we're all hoping you're able to experience the joy of growin up. -Oort, of Skipper Hallow's regiment.
The Eighth Row; simply called "Eight"

It reads:
Beloved lieutenant of the Second Clan. May he rest in peace. (scribbled in: wif his head, which I cut off!)
(OOC: This character was involved in the civil war which broke out between Hactor's and Anba Hor's forces in summer 2010, and was not beheaded - the scribbling on the gravestone mistakes this character for Ceabol Kao, the reptile-worshipping Fifth Clan leader.)

It reads:

(OOC: This character was killed by Skipper and Kevarr at the start of the intended civil war between Hactor and Anba Hor, summer of 2010)

(OOC: Ceabol Kao was the reptile-worshipping lieutenant of the 5th clan, first into the abbey building during the initial takeover, and beheaded by Skipper.)

(OOC: Qwufa Nxz was the bedreadlock'd leader of the third clan, first to be wounded during the breakout of civil war between Hactor and 'Anba Hor'. Was the most feral of the lieutenants, and a mute).
