Fish Fight! (finding the second piece of the map!)

Camp Willow: Fisher's Hut

The fisher's hut isn't anything fancy, rather plain and unattractive are what most beasts who visit think of the small building. Despite its appearance, it gets the purpose done with relative ease. The small space are enclosed by four walls of thick birch boards, each one containing a window that seems to be cracked open at all hours of the day to let fresh air drift into the somewhat cramped quarters. Dominating the hut's area space is a counter that divides the building in half mostly except the open space near the right paw end to let the head fisher to pass between the two proportions. The differing feature between the two halves are the modeled hinges that are latched onto a plank resting upon the floor. Matching that is a large handle that, when pulled up, reveals a small pool of water below. Ripples and splashes are sent up by the enraged fish who have been caught, dropped below to be preserved for another time. Overall this establishment deals only for business, and isn't built as a gathering place.

Exits: [Do]or to the Shoreline

Chud walks in and claps a paw to his nose, making his voice a bit nasally as he comments, "Ghwaw! I like fish as much's the next beast, but this's too much of a good thing, in too poorly ventilated space."

Courage follows close behind Chud and shivers at the smell, gaging as he does so, than suddenly his eyes glint with mischief. "You know, this place smells a lot like /you/!" He laughs heartily at his own joke, but quickly stops as the smell comes into his mouth. He coughs and look a bit ill.

Chud fist-pumps triumphantly. "You were snaying?"

Courage coughs again than grins ruefully at Chud. "I was saying.....This place really smells...." He waits a moment than finishes with a gleeful grin. "Like you."

"Nar, it's yer own stench, mate," Chud insists before grimacing and stepping forward to the nearest fish pile.

Courage nods. "After being in this place you are probably right." He also steps for a pile of fish.

"Ew." Chud picks up a fish and watches the slime trickle off of it, then there's a mischevous glint in his amber eyes and a fiendish grin.

Courage does not see Chud's grin for he has his back turned to him. He pokes at the fish and shivers. "This is...horrible." He continues to search, blissfully unaware of Chuds fiendish mind.

Chud nods. "Er, right, right..." He quietly creeps up behind Courage on tip-paw.

Courage is still completely oblivious. "Ewww, I mean, LOOK at all these? How could someone enjoy being here?" He mutters darkly as he continues to poke through the fish.

"Erm...maybe like.../THIS!/" SPLAP! Suddenly a huge fish smacks wetly against the back of Courage's head.

Courage was just about to throw a fish over his shoulder when Chud's fish hits him in the head. "GAAAAA!" Is the only word he yells and he falls face first into his pile of fish. Chud is going to pay dearly for this.

Chud laughs. "That's how!"

Courage picks himself up from his pile of fish, the slime slowly ozzing off his face. He turns slowly to face Chud, his eyes burning and he is slaping a fish menacingly in one paw. "Oh? Well I think it's time YOU know how enjoyable it is too! I could not hog the joy!" With that he leaps at Chud, flailing the fish at his young friend.

Chud yelps and ducks, swinging his own fish upward. "YA!"

Courage 'oofs' as the fish hits him in the stomach than he tries to swing his fish down at Chud. Revenge shall be his!

Chud quickly holds each end of his fish over his head, parrying.

Courage scowles and backs up. He seems to be giving up and he offers a paw to Chud. "Truce?" Drat his eyes! They give away clearly that Courage is not NEAR to being done.

Chud slaps Courage's paw with his fish. "Gotcher!"

Courage pulls his paw back quickly and puts on a look of mock pain. "Fine! If thats the way you want it..." He leaps behind his pile of fish and starts to throw fish at Chud a million miles a minute!

Chud laughs and ducks behind another pile of fish, and starts hurling them madly, map forgotten.

Courage throws fish back, not aiming at all. No laughter passes his lips and something fiendish smolders in his eyes as a gruesome smile twitches across his mouth.

Chud aims with deadly accuracy at Courage's face. "H-YAH!" A large mackerel spins through the air...

The fish hits Courage's face with a loud 'SPLAT'. He mutters somthing in a whisper then suddenly grabs an arm loud of fish, jumps up and starts to sprint toward Chud's pile, throwing fish the whole time.

The other otter returns fire desperately, but then he takes 3 cod to the face and is bowled over, throwing up one paw to defend himself.

Courage can't help but let out a laugh of glee and he starts to throw fish two at a time, then suddenly he stops running and gulps. He is out of fish and he is already half way to Chud's pile. He turns around and starts to sprint back to his pile.

Chud rises and yells, "REVENGE!", letting off a barrage of fishies.

Courage winces and then trips as the fish fly into his back! He starts to crawl as fast as he can toward his pile, throwing a quick glance over his shoulder.

Chud laughs and throws two more.

The fish go flying toward Courage and he is only able to dodge one. The other one hits him right in the back of the head and he falls flat, knocked out....Or so you think!

Chud steps forward, looking a bit remorseful. "Yer alright...right?

Courage does not move and he makes no sound other then his steady breathing.

Chud bends over and shakes his friend, pleading, "Wake up!"

Courage does not move then suddenly he rolls over and grabs Chud's foot-paws, pulling him down onto the rather dirty ground and trouncing his shoulders and arms in mock punches, not hitting hard enough to break anything, but bruises is very possible.

Chud yelps and holds up his paws. "Stop! Stop!"

Courage laughs victoriously and stops, standing up and offering a paw to Chud. "Truce, now?" This time his eyes do not shine with any sort of treachery.

Chud doesn't get up, but he points behind Courage, eyes wide.

Courage keeps his paw out and he turns his head to looks. "What is it?"

"I found it!" The map piece was buried beneath the fish in Courage's pile, but after the otter flung the fish, the scrap of material was uncovered.

Courage spots the map piece and hollers for joy. "That you did my friend!" He rushes over and picks up the piece, leaving Chud on the floor as he smiles down at the scrap of paper.

Chud turns the paper over a few times. "Hm...Don't recognize this bit...Trees look real scraggly, though. Maybe--" He pumps one fist victoriously. "Yes! I know this bit 'ere. 's that marsh over to the sou'eas'!"

Courage rubs his paws together and dashes for the door. "Why didn't you say so!?" He naturally assumes Chud will follow.
