IC position in the Long Patrol: Sergeant.

Character history: It started with a shortsword. Forged far back in the past by an expert mouse weaponsmith in the Eastern land of Tuscani for a female hare who had sworn to protect those weaker that herself. This hare used her skills and her weapon for that purpose, then passed it on to her son when he came of age. He, too, used it only to protect the weak from those who would enslave and kill them. This went on for 3 more generations until another female hare inherited it, but instead of staying in the land of Tuscani, she followed an inexplicable calling she felt upon her heart and traveled towards the setting sun, only stopping once she reached the mountain fortress of Salamandastron. There she joined the Long Patrol, fell in love, married, and, eventually, passed on the sword to her daughter.

And so the sword was passed on through the family until it reached Rachelle Elizabeth Lakewood, a Fighter in the Patrol. Brave, loyal, with a heart as wide as the sky. She met Quickpaw David Rosinbloom, who was a Runner in the Patrol; they fell in love, got married, and, while still living in Salamandastron, had 3 wonderful children: David, Felicity, and the late coming surprise baby, Julia. They led a quiet (relatively, seeing as how they were in the Long Patrol), normal, happy life. David joined the Patrol as a Runner and quickly earned the rank of Corporal. Shortly after Felicity joined as a Recruit, David, with their parents' permission, went down to the beach at sunset to collect some seashells for his little sisters. But some searats had been waiting in ambush for some hare, and, seeing that David was alone, decided to attack him to punish the Patrol and the Mountain for some act of justice they had enacted upon the pirate galley the rats had been sailing on. David put up a valiant fight, but he was overcome and slain, his body found the next morning.

Overcome with grief, Rachelle and Quickpaw, with the Badger Lord's permission, led a contingent of hares out to hunt down the rats. They located them, and a bloody battle ensued. The searats were annihilated, but Quickpaw and Rachelle were felled. A family friend, knowing the history of the shortsword, retrieved it and gave it to Felicity, who chose it as her weapon. Pushing through her grief, the haremaid finished Basic Training with one of the highest scores in her class, quickly achieving the rank of Private and having the role of Runner. But the grief Felicity felt from these tremendous losses was so great that it isolated her, and it wasn't until a private training session with the Badger Lord Ciocan that she finally started opening up again.

Most of Felicity's 3-day-long patrols were solo missions, and when she was off duty, she spent most of her time caring for her sister Julia, who couldn't remember anything about their family who died. One day, Rachelle's brother, Flint, arrived at Salamandastron after being thought dead. Felicity was ecstatic, and for a few seasons the 3 of them lived at the Mountain as one happy family. But tragedy struck again with the murder of Flint, and this time Felicity hunted down his killer, a monitor lizard. But, alas, the lizard captured her, and her vermin informant, a vixen named Rioko, came to her rescue.

Felicity returned to her home and resumed her duties as Private, Runner, and big sister, and started training with her uncle's sabre. But the more serious she became with her job and her family, the more many of the other hares of the Mountain rejected her, even resorting to mocking her to her face. But when a contingent of Redwallers came, seeking aid against the invading army of Ormaz Redthorn, Felicity was promoted to Corporal, showing that her efforts were worth it.

Felicity still lives in Salamandastron, where she was born and raised. The thought of living somewhere else hasn't even crossed her mind, and she'd have to be stationed there, anyway. She tries to take good care of her baby sister, Julia, but sometimes struggles to keep her contained. The leveret is the Ringleader of the Mountain branch of the Dibbuns Against Bedtime, so keeping up with her is sometimes a struggle. But with all the loss Felicity has endured in her family and her life.....she thinks it's absolutely worth it.

Synopsis of her personality: While a bit hot-headed, Felicity strives to be in control of how she acts and reacts, no matter the circumstance or how she's feeling; however, if she is being provoked, all bets are off, even if the one doing the provoking is a fellow Long Patroller.

Utterly loyal, she will stay with her friends, even to death, and she will hunt down anyone who harms her family, even at the risk of enslavement and death on her part. She is dedicated to the protection of those who are weaker than she is, and she is willing to give vermin a chance to prove that they're good (or at least not wanting to kill her). This is a lesson that was deeply ingrained into her by her parents, who, despite the Long Patrol's hatred of vermin in general, believed that everyone should be given a chance. She hates anyone who would harm a Dibbun, and will go to great lengths to stop slavers. Felicity lives to make her parents, her brother, and now her uncle proud of her, and strives to make her baby sister's life as normal as possible.

She loves food, like any normal hare, and her favourites are salad and cookies. She journals and draws a lot to help her destress, and she sews to keep her little family in normal, non-uniform clothes for during their off hours. She secretly dreams of someday getting married and having a family of her own, and sees having to raise her little sister as good practice. But for now, she is trying to focus on her life as a Long Patrol member and as basically a mother to her sister. However, this dedication draws the mockery from some of her peers, and these rejections, combined with her ever-lingering sorrow over the deaths of her friends and family members, tends to make her sometimes withdrawn and quiet. But when someone is kind to her and earns her trust, she will open up and show her genuine, loving, and rather gentle spirit.

Known surviving family: Julia Rachelle Rosinbloom (younger sister).
