Day 2 - Archery
Day 2 - Archery
-------------------------------------------------
This event shall be held on the second day of the tournament on the Open Grounds
of the Redwall abbey. Targets shall be placed about 15 feet from any beast whom
wishes to test their luck with a bow and arrow. The winner shall be decided based
on score of whom wins the most points.
1) Preparation - OK, get the bows and arrows and set up the targets!
OOC - This part of the competition won't be long. RP would mostly consist of setting
up seats, targets, and getting competitors lined up and ready.
IC - Chairs and such shall be carried out to the Open Grounds of the abbey for
visitors to watch and all the targets shall be in place!
2) Begin - Aim, FIRE!
OOC - Archers shall begin to show off what they are made off! They'll aim at one
target across from them and let loose! The amount of points shall be decided on a
dice roll. 1 is a miss, 2-3 is worth 10 points, 4-5 is worth 20 points, and 6 is worth 30 points.
IC - One at a time now, one beast shall let one arrow fly and hope that his arrow
goes in the right direction! There shall be three rounds of everyone going once, then
scores shall be added up!
3) Awarding - I sure hope the arrow hitting that one beast doesn't count against me!
OOC - This part is where we tally up all the points and give everyone the amount
they scored. Then the winner is announced and is the one with the most points. What
is the prize? A very nice and detailed, hand crafted bow!
IC - Things will start to get wrapped up. The winner is... well... the beast whom did
the best! Let him have a nice bow and let's get this mess cleaned up!
