Chance encounter in the woods part 2
Chud moves in to help Bandit, growling deep in his throat. He brandishes his dirk and feints twice before launching an uppercut at the hare, following it up with a quick stab towards the shoulder, not in the mood to kill anybeast.
The hare is caught completly off guard by the appearence of the otter. He takes a blow to the head and yelps in both shock and pain as the dirk pierces his shoulder. "GAH!" He shouts as he falls over, dropping his blade to clutch his shoulder. The weasel switches targets and swipes at the otter with his blade while the stoat goes after bandit. The fox doesn't want to kill any beast either but, he may not have the choice.
Chud quickly parries the blow, the hilt of his dirk locking against the hilt of the weasel's own blade. Chud snarls and puts all his weight into the locked blades, grappling for superiority.
Bandit slaps the paw of the stoat with the flat of his blade. He kicks the stoat in the gut and he goes stumbling towards the other fighters. The weasel curses as the otter locks blades with the otter. He tries to grabble with Chud as the stoat runs into them both!
Chud disengages, quickly sidestepping the flying stoat, before whirling back in to strike again at the weasel. "Think ye're bad. No. I'M bad," he snarls.
Jim the stoat goes flying between them. Taken off guard by the distration the weasel makes a gasp of pain as a gash appears on his chest. One paw clutching at his chest the weasel, stares at both the otter and approaching fox. "Dash it all!" The bounty hunter gets ready to pounce at them, then takes off into the tall grass. Meanwhile both the stoat and hare are trying to get to their feet...
Chud lets the bounty hunter go, and shoves the stoat, then the hare to the ground. "Oh no yer don't," the young otter growls fiercely. "Nuh uh." He takes a strip of cloth from his tunic and begins to bind their paws.
The stoat begins to protest until the fox levels his blade near his snout, "Oh light please don't kill us!" The stoat begs. Both beast remain still with little struggle to being tied up. Both have no wish to die today.
Chud raps the stoat on the snout with the flat of his blade. "Shut up. If we were gonna kill yez, we would've by now." He finishes a hefty knot on each strip of cloth and hauls the hare to his footpaws.
The fox chuckles as both beasties are tied up. He replies as he sheathes his blade, "It does beg the question as to what we are going to do with them though. I presume you are after the bounty on my hide?" The hare nods, "N-nothing personal sir. A-and I seem to still be bleeding from my shoulder..."
"Shut up, squirt," Chud says, not unkindly this time, and wraps the wound up tightly with another strip of cloth. "Thar 'ee go. I was thinkin' we haul 'em to Redwall. Would be murder to leave 'em out here in the middle of the woods in such times as dese."
The fox scratches his head, "Blazes, I suppose your right. You grab the stoat, I'll take the hare."
