Bracelets and flower chains (This ICly Happened 8 20 2015)
This ICly happened on Thursday, August 20th, 2015
Zork's room at the Abbey :)
Zork the badger. LilyMoore the mouse.
Zork is sitting in his room, in fact trying to finish something he has been working on for the past 3 weeks, not that it's that hard to work on it, but well...maybe a little as there is detail to what he is making and he has used his paws a lot to work on it. He had asked Silverstorm for the long metal pieces and talked another into getting them colored green and red and there is a few still the normal metally color.
LilyMoore comes up to the door and knocks on it. "Zork? You in there?" She has a basket of flowers under her arm and a smile on her face. She waits patiently for him to answer.
Zork lays what he is working on down , "You can enter Lilymoore" He says, his voice a little more quiet today.
Opening the door, Lily enters, a concerned look on her face. "Are you okay?" The flowers make the whole room smell nice as she sets the basket on the floor.
Zork smiles "Course I be ok...just resting so I can help in de orchards in a couple days." His voice sounds tried but he is smiling like he usually does, "Well me paws are sore but thar a reason fer that, I was trying ta finish something"
LilyMoore smiles in relief, trusting him. She comes forward and goes to lean on his arm as she tries to see what he was working on. "Whatcha making? Do you need help with it?"
Zork smiles, he has been feeling better today so its not a lie that he is ok right now, he feels fine. He smiles and shows her the bracelet "I just finished it in fact, tis for you Lilymoore." He holds it out for her and grins.
LilyMoore gasps with delight as she goes to take it. "It's so beautiful!! You made it for ME?? I love it! But..." she quickly looks up at him, a concerned look flooding her face. "...how did you make it without hurting yourself? Are you sure you're okay?"
Zork smiles "With me paws, course Silverstorm helped get de long bits of metal, it took like 3 weeks ta...ta make" He coughs a little bit and shakes his head.
LilyMoore slips it on and admires it. "I love it. I will treasure it forever." she goes to lay a paw on his arm as he coughs. "Do you need something to drink, maybe? I brought some strawberry fizz to drink while we make flower chains." She pulls out 2 canteens full of the drink (where she got the canteens is a mystery) and hands one to the badger.
Zork smiles "A drink be fine...just a small cough, Leon can check on me later if it makes ya feel better." He takes the canteen and smiles at her. "Making flower chains will be fun."
LilyMoore grins, then grabs about half of the flowers and goes to dump it on the badger's lap. "Let's get started!" she then suddenly goes to hug him tightly. "Thank you so much for the bracelet! I'll keep it forever."
Zork smiles and hugs her, he has been doing a lot of hugging lately "Ya welcome Lilymoore. Ya be one of me good friends." He gets a couple flowers and starts to weave them together and gets a chain of about 3 of them, he chuckles deeply, he stops once but still smiles, yes smile and just pay the stupid breathing spell no mind, he takes a deep breath and exhales... "This...is fun, ya right"
LilyMoore sits down on the edge of the bed. "You're one of my best friends!" She grins and rapidly makes her chain about 6 flowers long. "Doing stuff with friends is almost always fun!" She pauses sometimes and admires her new bracelet, a slightly awed smiles flooding her face like a ray of sunshine.
Zork smiles, he adds a couple more flowers. He has enjoyed time with the younger beasts, and the DAB, hee hee...maybe he can plan a steal some cake next, after helping in the orchards."Ya know...I have a fun idea for later in de day I help with getting some fruits in de orchards, ya friends can even help maybe"
LilyMoore looks up from her flower chain. "Oh? What fun would that be? And are you helping pick the fruit this Saturday? Momma said that maybe I could help carry the fruit into the kitchens."
Zork nods "Yes, de apples and plums be ready then, I won't do much but hold de basket or two...might meditate, that sort of thing.." He grins and his eyes sparkle with mischief, "Maybe we can see if thar is any cake or fresh pie in de kitchens afterwards, hee hee...maybe." He then hmmms, remembering the speech the dibbuns got, or least the DAB ones did a couple days ago, "Or not...maybe we can see if de Friar can let ya and ya friends help make a pie?"
LilyMoore claps her paws excitedly, accidentally squishing a flower. "I won't steal a cake, but I would totally be okay with making a pie! That's a wonderful idea, Zork!! I love it! I've never made a pie before." But Marek won't be there to help her make it....she sighs, then goes back to her bright-eyed, happy, smiling face as she remembers that Butterclaw would totally be willing to take him a piece of pie with a letter.
Zork tilts his head "Wot? Why de sigh...pie making may be fun, maybe we can get Ozzy to watch too, that way Lacota may be more ok with it...yeah he supposed ta be getting berries or something..." Zork says, "Ozzy should be back by de time we be done in de orchards"
Zork weaves some more flowers onto his chain and smiles, it's fairly long after a little while and he makes a circle with them and folds it over to make a double circle type necklace and grins going to, if allowed, place it on Lilymoore's neck and smiles, if he is not allowed she can do it as well as he will just hand it to her.
LilyMoore allows him to put the necklace around her neck, her face seeming to blaze with joy. "Thank you!!" She then sighs again and goes to put her flower crown on his head. "Oh, 1 of my friends can't be here in Redwall, and it makes me sad. Maybe I'll be able to visit him in Ferravale soon...."
Zork nods "I won't ask why, but do let someone go with ya, do not go alone ok Lilymoore? I wouldn't want ta hear something happen ta ya"
LilyMoore nods. "Oh, I won't. I think I'd go with Momma....she's said that she might take me." She starts weaving flowers again. "Do you think that Friar Lacota will let us make pies?"
Zork smiles, he shrugs "If ya ask Lacota nicely maybe he will...this was good fun Lilymoore ya made me day cheery and bright.Ya be good at cheering up beasts lass"
LilyMoore blushes slightly. "I try. I just do what I think would be fun so I can spend time with them." She will stay until it's time to eat, and then she'll do her best to help him go to wherever. Or she'll leave when he's tired. Whichever.
Zork keeps the flower circle on his head and smiles, he puts a couple loose flowers on his nightstand. "Ya brighten anyone's day lass..." He keeps a small smile, he is feeling tried but he keeps just how tried he is from his friend, well for the most part he yawns and lays down on his bed after a short while, but before he does he goes to hug her if allowed. He will go to sleep soon and get some needed rest.
LilyMoore allows the hug, and goes to hug him back. She then silently leaves, leaving the unused flowers on his nightstand and his canteen of strawberry fizz on the floor. She then goes to eagerly show her mother her new bracelet.
