An Out Of Character Long Patrol Log. Because WHY NOT?? :D
This is an OOC RP. Nothing in this log should be taken as IC, canon events. Thank you ;)
Rioko the vixen. Felicity the hare.
The fox travels alone down this dusty road along the shore. She travels armed with a glave for she knows bandits roam freely, attacking beasts for their money, supplies and sometimes to even devour poor travelers. Rioko knows this, because she is the bandit who does this. The grey fox walks in a slow content walk, her belly swollen and plump from robbing a bread merchant down the road. She picks her teeth clean as she walks.
Felicity is traveling up the shoreline, on patrol. She has her short sword at her side and a small haversack on her back. She spots the vixen and smiles at her, but keeps going up the shore. She has no idea that the fox is a bandit, but she's prepared for whatever anyway. Because Long Patrol members are always prepared.
The fox spots the hare and grins delightfully. Moving to block the creatures path, "Well good day miss!" The fox takes a bow that loses it grandure with how her belly reaches her knees. "Perhaps you would like to play a little game? It's easy to play. You hand over enough coin and you win the chance to return to the village. Don't hand over enough money...and well, you get the idea." The smug vixen replies.
Felicity stops stock still, staring suspiciously at the vixen as she steps into her way. Eyes narrowing ta the little speech, the haremaid draws her sword and retorts, "'Ow 'bout this little game: You move outta my way, or I use your face to make a pothole in the road." She then lunges forward, hoping to catch the fox off guard so she can escape!
The fox gives the hare a smug smile under her straw hat. A bold one this is. Their fight shall put Rio in about as much a good mood as cooking her for supper! The fox springs forward, her glave making a whirling noise as she spins it over her head before bring it down to meet the hare head on!
Felicity gasps and ducks, then reaches up with her empty left paw. Grabbing the shaft of the pole weapon, she pops up within inches of the vixen and pulls back her sword for the killing blow. She is not dying today! She is not leaving her baby sister to be alone in the world! No! Not today! Not ever! Never! "Eulaaaliiiaaaaaaaaaaaa!!"
The fox's eyes widen as her weapon comes to an abrupt halt. She sees the blade gleaming in the light as it comes toward her. She tries to lean back but its too late. She feels the cold metal enter her belly, cutting through the vixens fat stomach like a knife to hot butter. Rioko doubles over as she is impaled deep to the gut. A wave of terror over comes the fox, "This...this isn't happening..."
Felicity pulls her weapon out and steps back, a sad look entering her eyes. "I'm afraid it is..." she says softly as she kneels and goes to cradle the vixen's head. "Even though you may have led a life of evil, I forgive you. I hope you rest in peace."
Forgive her? FORGIVE /HER/? The fox is the one with her belly spilling into the sand. She looks down at the hole in her gut and whimpers. In the end...she is rather glad to be comforted before the end. Slowly her life spills out into a pool around her until the vixen finally just...stops. A glazed, sorrowfull look on her eyes as she stares out at the sea one last time...
Felicity strokes the vixen's head, then sighs. She hates killing, but she understands that it is sometimes necessary. But that doesn't mean that she has to like it. She takes the time to bury the fox's body, using a piece of what looks like a long-lost ship board cum driftwood as a shovel, then continues on her way, leaving a warped driftwood log as the vixen's headstone. As the shadows lengthen, she sighs and looks back. Indeed, may the fox rest in peace.
No vixens were actually harmed in the making of this log. Thank you for reading. ;)
