The Inn

After a long day of getting Will's sword fixed, Kentar slowly makes his way to the inn. He walks into the inn and then down the hall before knocking on the rats' door.

Will and Amy had been busy packing up their things and cleaning up their room a little when the stoat knocked on the door. Will answered the door letting the stoat into the room. "Hello. What bring you over here again?" he asks.

Kentar smiles and steps in, pulling out the sword from behind his back. "This, actually." he smiles, spinning the sword slowly. "I thought why wait for the rats to come to me when I can go to the rats?!" he laughs.

Will nods and smiles, "Thank you. Good idea t come here since we don't know where you're staying."

Kentar nods and hands the sword over. "Your more then welcome. So...what are you two up to today, hrm?" he asks, looking around.

Will takes the sword and looks it over a little before putting in the sheath on his belt. "Thank you," he repeats then hmms and looks around at the stoat's question, "Oh, just cleaning th room up some. Were kinda thinking about joining you an th others at wherever you're staying if it's alright. That way we'll all be together and can all leave together and it's likely cheaper than staying here," he laughs.

Kentar nods then laughs a little, smiling nice and wide. "Yes...yes, of course its alright!" he smiles. "I offered you a few nights ago, didn't I?" he chuckles a little. "Need help with cleaning and packing or something?"

"Yeah you did but I didn't catch were you said you were staying somehow. You said you had a cabin I think but I didn't catch the where part," Will says. The room is clean and everything seems to have bee packed up already, the bed's even made perhaps they were planning this all along.

Kentar nods and thinks for a moment. "I didn't actually say, I don't think..." he shrugs. "Well. Doesn't matter. I'm here, ready to show you..." he laughs, looking around the room. "Hm. Already done..." he chuckles a bit.

Will grins, "Yeah. I think we're ready. Lead th way, Kentar."

Kentar chuckles a little and eyes them. "You've been planning haven't you?" he smirks before stepping out of the door, down the hall, then out to the streets, slowly walking along so that they can keep up. He also took some of their things for them. He's so nice.

Kentar's Cabin

Will walks along side the stoat since Amy had opted to move under her own power rather than being pushed. The maid hums to herself as they follow Kentar.

Kentar leads the rats up a path then down another before finally coming to a big black log cabin. He opens the door and lets the rats in. In the room to the right, there's the family of otters, around a fire again. They look over and wave before going back to mumbling to each other. "There's a room right down the hall to the left that should be good." he nods.

Amy had been humming a song to herself on the way and trying to do tricks with her wheeled chair much to Will's dismay thought after he threatened, first push her chair and when that didn't work out to carry her the rest of the way, did she stop fooling around. Will keeps his eye half on Amy and half on Kentar as they approach the cabin, he gives the strange otters a quick glance before nodding to the stoat and forcefully guiding Amy into their new room before she caused anymore trouble.

Kentar smiles and opens the room door. There's a bed, a dresser. That's about it really. "Sorry its not much but...the otters and us have the good rooms." he laughs a little

"It's fine," Will says going in pushing Amy's chair in front of him. "It's no worse then what was at th inn," he adds.

Kentar nods a little. "True enough. Besides. The bed is probably more comfy." he laughs, the stoat setting some of their things down before leaning against the wall.

Amethyst smirks a little at the stoat's comment while Will doesn't say anything.

Kentar grins then thinks for a few moments. "So. Either of you want something to drink or eat, or something?" he asks. "Maybe something to decorate the room with?"

Will looks to Amy who shrugs and shakes her head at the offer of food and drink and he turns back to the stoat and says, "Not right now. We'll get unpacked and stuff and be back out in a while," he adds after a moment.

Kentar nods slowly and chuckles. "Alright then. I'll be outside." he smiles, stepping out of the door and going outside for a while.

Will closes the door once the stoat leaves the rats being to unpack their stuff and settle in a bit.

The stoat yawns a little as Will and Amy close the door to their room. He steps outside the door of his cabin and sits down, looking to the sky.

After getting all their stuff unpacked and put away Amy, with Will's help, had started to familiarize herself with where things were in the cabin. On her wanderings she finds the door that leads outside and wheels chair out the door and a little to one side. She keeps track of where the door back in is so she can get back to her room later. "Sun set yet?" she asks having been already aware of the stoat when she'd first came outside

Kentar huhs and looks up to Amy, nodding a little and smiling some. "Yeah. Setting anyways." he nods, chuckling quietly. "Its really nice to see." he smiles a little more.

Amethyst nods some, "Felt like it was getting close to night. Wha- what's it look like? Th sun set that is."

"It's. Beautiful. The sky is orangish and pink. And only half of the sun is visible over the cliffs. But the reflection is on the water and. Its wow." There's a paw trying to take Amy's now while Kentar described the sunset

Amethyst lets her paw be taken reasoning if it's Kentar as she thinks it is it's find and if it's not she has her staff in her other paw. "Sounds nice," she says quietly closing her blind eyes to better 'see' the picture the stoat is describing for her.

Will had been exploring the cabin and seeing Amy had gone outside and Kentar was with her he allowed himself to relax a little more and had been volunteered to help Garnet in the kitchen

Kentar nods a little. "It is. The sun looks really nice behind the trees on the cliff. And the reflection looks like a painting on the water." he smiles a little more. "I'm sorry you can't see it Amy. I know what its like to be blind, and if it makes you feel better...I'd give my only eye for you to have sight again." he smiles a little, letting go of her paw finally. He really does feel bad for her.

Will steps outside as the sun sinks lower. He leans on the back of Amy's chair and smiles over at Kentar, "Garnet said t tell you that there's food inside if you're hungry." Not an exact quote but the rat figures it's the same idea. "Watching the sunset?" he asks more to Amy than Kentar now.

Amethyst lets go of Kentar's paw and retches up to run her paw across Will's face, "Something like that. You could have joined us." She quiet a moment then states, "I'll be dark soon." Turning to Kentar she adds, "Should head in before too long."

Kentar chuckles a little and then smiles at Will. "Food? Great!" The stoat stands up and brushes himself off. "I'm hungrier then a hare, and that's hard to be!" he laughs, turning to go inside. "Do you two want to join us?"

Will takes Amy's paw a squeezes it gently, "Going in?" he asks taking hold of her chair to guide her back inside, "Sun's nearly gone and it gets cold out at night this close t th sea."

Amethyst shrugs, "I guess so. There's food, that's always been a good enough reason before. ... What sort of food is it as if I couldn't guess."

Kentar isn't sure so he vanishes inside to find out. He doesn't bother going back out, figuring they'd be in in a few anyways

Will shrugs, "Th usual fare and some stuff I think Garnet just invented by mixing some leftovers together."

Amethyst makes a face at the mention of Kentar's wife getting creative with leftovers. She sighs tasting the cool salty air of the village before giving a small smile, "So same ol same, huh? Hasn't killed me yet. Lead the way!

Will grins a little as he opens the door and pushes the wheeled chair into the cabin. He moves Amy into position at the table and takes a seat next to her to wait for the others to join them though he's heard the otters had already retired to their room early with large helpings of everything.

Amethyst fills her plate as soon as she can taking pains to avoid Garnet's leftovers creation not realizing some beast had already dropped a sizable portion on her plate without her noticing it.

The two stoats are dishing the food up, plopping it on plates then the plates onto the tables. Garnet sits down while Kentar grabs the drinks. The otter family that was here when they got here, is sitting with them too, eating as best as they can without seeming like poor, hungry, otters. Kentar pours out some drinks and then sits down. "Ah. There we go!"

Will is too busy shoveling down his food to make conversation but at least he seems to like Garnet's cooking.

Amethyst is also enjoying the meal in silence though her ears keep tabs on any conversation going on around her.

Kentar is too busy talking with his wife to really enjoy the food, mentioning things about staying longer, and about this and that but eventually, he starts to chow down

Amethyst pushes her plate away now full and smiles toward the stoat's voices as she says, "That was really good. We'll have to have that again soon." She moves her chair away from the table and wanders off to her room.

Will nods his agreement, "It is good. There enough for thirds or would this be fourths. Either way is there more?"

Garnet laughs and nods slowly. "We'll see you tomorrow Amy." Then both stoats, and the otters, laugh. "Yes Will there's more." Garnet stands and starts to dish up some more for Will. And the otters, of course, want more too. So they get some more too

Will grins, "Thanks. Wasn't sure. I think Pa's stockpiled enough food in his an Mum's room for th rest of th season an all of next season."

Kentar chuckles and nods. "Yeah, that they did." he smirks a little before standing. "I'm going to go for a walk. I'll see everyone later." the stoat smiles, giving his wife a kiss, his brother's head a ruffle and then the otters a wave before vanishing
