Its just after dawn. Its very dark and cloudy outside, and its raining again. Nothing heavy, just enough to keep the beasts who would like to stay dry, inside their respective tents. Of course this is perfect otter weather, and a certain otter has gotten up early to enjoy it. Aikuen is standing on the beach, near the camp, just staring out to sea. He got up early, leaving his wife a kiss, before heading outside. The place is completely lack in the hustle and bustle, due to the rain. The otters arms are crossed in front of him, as he lets the water trickle down his whiskers. Thinking, when he stares over the water.

Fira has slept for longer and only just woken up, she's getting more tired again. She can smell the rain on the air, or at least the scent of everything damp anyway and when she sees Aik's not there...well she actually considers rolling over and falling asleep again cause she's still tired but then she wouldn't get wet and she wouldn't get food. It's still a few minutes until she actually gets round to getting up and a minute later she's wandering off outside, letting the rain wake her up.

Aikuen would have let her sleep on. In fact he was counting on it somehow. Give him time to enjoy the rain, before going to spear something to eat for them and her bump. The rain beats against the shoreline softly as the otter keeps his gaze over the ocean, missing everything behind him. He reaches into his pouch and plays with the rings that he got back from Kentar. Still forgot to give it back to her. But she doesn't know he has them. He sighs.

Fira has taken the ring to be lost by now. She's just regretting not pulling up the floor boards back at the room to check there and hoping Aik doesn't notice before she maybe gets a replacement...though she does have more things on her mind right now too. She stands just outside the tent for a moment, muzzle pointed up at the sky and getting wet. After a moment she snorts and shakes her head before finally looking round as she heads for the sea. It takes her another minute or two to spot Aik then and she slowly (and tiredly) smirks and sneaks up behind him.

Aikuen is still very unaware of his lovely otter, being behind him. Rain covers up the sound of footsteps very well. He yawns and blinks toward the sea. Giving his back and arch, popping it. Before going back to his crossed arms at the ocean. Thinking about getting ready to fish a bit.

Fira has to make the most of the few times she gets revenge for beasts sneaking up on her, anniversary or not this does not mean cuddles right away. No, it means she quietly scoops up a lump of wet sand, sneaks right up and goes to drop it on his head. Then look innocent of course.

Aikuen yawns again and then the sand is plopped on his head. At first he thinks its just a big ole rain drop. Rain doesn't feel like that though. He blinks again, and grabs for whatever is on his head. Sand?, "What the?..." he blinks and wipes it out of his head. Then he realizes... Sand doesn't fall from the sky... The otter goes wide eyed, and turns around quickly. He blinks, "Fi?" he gives a fake frown, "You little sand plopper!" he grins and reaches down for some wet sand himself.

Fira continues to look innocent while trying not to laugh and grin "What?" she vaguely points upwards "This big bird flew overhead. Really common round here, I'm surprised you didn't see it"

Aikuen tilts his head, "What? Really?" he looks genuinely surprised. Silly Aik, for believing such nonsense. He looks over head, and looks around in the sky, "What where? I don't see it? Where is the sand bird... thing!" he frowns.

Fira bites her lip a little so she won't smirk at him "Went up the beach somewhere, darn fast too" she moves to sit down next to him. It's just starting to get hard to work her way down onto the ground too but she kind of clumsily copes.

Aikuen looks up the beach, and strains to see the elusive bird. He grunts, "Darn thing..." he hmms and lets it go for now. When he sees her trying to sit, he somewhat tries to help her, "Careful darling. Don't hurt yourself." he grins when she finally does get settled next to him, and kisses her on the cheek, "Hey!" seems to be in order.

Fira flops against his side as soon as she's seated. Darn bump. She finally smirks at him too and aims a little kiss back at his nose "Hey there wet otter"

Aikuen chuckles, and gives her a little squeeze, bringing her closer to him. "Wet otter yourself!" he grins, and gives her a wet nuzzle. He then smiles warmly at her, "So... Fira the otter. My lovely and most beautiful of all the otters in the world. The otter that i call mine! Do you know what fantastic day... it is today?" Another wet nuzzle, like he likes too.

Fira chuckles quietly at the nuzzle and probably would settle against him further if she didn't have to lip read. No matter, she's comfy enough anyway "You really know how to talk a girl up...don't worry, I didn't go and forget" least she's fairly sure she knows what he's on about. If it just turns out he's forgotten which day of the week it is she's going to pretend otherwise.

Aikuen chuckles and eyes her, "I sure do! Or are you just making fun of me?!" he laughs and was going to poke her in the side, but the bump prevents him from doing so. He doesn't want to aggravate her too much. Which is probably a good thing for her at the moment. He grins at her instead and nods, "Ah good! Its a great day then! First thing first then!" he smiles and plants a very long kiss on her, bringing her toward him, with a paw on her shoulder. After he pulls away sadly, he reaches into his pouch and pulls out her ring, "Fira... Will you continue to be my loving wife, for the next season... and the seasons to come..." he smiles, and puts it on her claw.

Fira is in a fairly good mood for now but well, that can change at any time. For the first question she just gives him a smirk and a look that clearly says she's not telling. The kiss she leans into, as much as the bump allows without sending her off balance. Mmm. The ring gets a blink though. That looks like her ring! She brings her paw right up to her nose for a closer look..."That's my ring! Did you have it all along? Where did you find it?"

Aikuen nuzzle her cheek "Yep... That's your ring. And no, i didn't have it... well not really. Kentar had it, and gave it too me yesterday.... And before that. They were both stolen apparently..." he holds up his ring claw, where the ring is gone "See, i thought i lost mine too... It turns out is was just stolen... For evil purposes..." he sighs, "They were used on Kentar and Garnet, as a way to tell him that we were dead. And torture him with it..." he shakes his head.

Fira blinks and stares at him...before fixing on the smallest thing and hitting him on the arm "Why didn't you tell me you'd lost your ring?! If you'd said something we would have known something was up!" throw out the logic now, it's not going to help.

Aikuen ows "OWIE!" and rubs his arm, "Well why didn't you tell me then! I thought i lost mine at the pub... that one night. I thought i could find it before long... Before you found out... The ring means a lot to me..."

Fira aims another two punches at his arm for pointing out the obvious "You should have said something...At least we got them back"

Aikuen keeps from laughing and curls up at the punches, "OW! OW! Your so mean!" he grins, "Aye, we did get them back. I was starting to freak out. I would have told you eventually!" he laughs.

Fira doesn't hit him again, not yet anyway. She adjusts her ring a little, get it comfortable "I would have just waited till you noticed" smirky but honest"

Aikuen gets back up from the curl and tilts his head slightly, "I should have noticed earlier. But i was a little more preoccupied about this." he places a paw on her belly, "And this..." he places his other claw on her lips. He grins stupidly.

Fira smirks and leans forwards to give him a kiss "Trying to get off the hook with flattery?"

Aikuen chuckles, "Maybe... Maybe... What do you think?" he laughs and kisses her back, "Did it work?" he laughs.

Fira smirks back at him and aims to nose his nose "Where would be the fun in telling you?"

Aikuen sticks his tongue back at her, "Err... So mean! Leaving me in the dark!" he crosses his arms and pouts, "Tell me! Or else!" he grins evilly!

Fira crosses her arms right back at him "Or else what?"

Aikuen grins and leans over, getting really close, "Or else... I well have to be a monster. A Monstery, monster... ROAR!" he laughs to himself.

Fira chuckles quietly and goes to hold his nose in her fingers "I will steal your nose oh big monster"

Aikuen looks at her claws, so he goes cross-eyed, "Wat da?" he frowns, "How wude!" he makes nipping motions, "And ill eat yours! if you do!"

Fira moves her paw above his nose, away from the nipping but still holding the nose "Aww what a sweet monster"

Aikuen chuckles, and moves closer, "A Sweet Monster? I'm a terrifying monster! Roar! Who is gonna eat you all up for dinner! Roar! Roar!" he laughs, "NomNomNom!" still nipping at her claws.

Fira starts poking his nose for every nip, laughing at him as well "So far I'm not scared"

Aikuen ergs for every poke, "OH! You should be... You should be!" he makes a stupid face, "That could scare anyone!

Fira just laughs at him, she can't think of anything to say, she's too busy laughing.

Aikuen grins, reaching up for her paw on his face, with his own, "AH! The scary monster has got his first victim!" he laughs, "How shall she perish... Eatin raw? Baked? Boiled? With a side of chips? So many options... and so little time!"

Fira sticks her tongue out at him "Don't you start making me hungry, you'll remind the mini us I haven't eaten yet"

Aikuen laughs at her, "TeeHee! Fine Fine then!" he winks at her, "But I'm hungry as well! Cant forget little ole me!" he grins and kisses her, "Mmmm, just the way i like it! So what will you have? Today, of all days!" he grins.

Fira smirks "Yeah I guess you're important too...hmm, let me think...don't feel much like fish" she sticks her tongue out "Cheese maybe and...some shrimp...cheese on shrimp"

"Cheese. Shrimp. Cheese shrimp. No fish. Go it!" even though its so un-otter like, Aik understands pregnant ladies cravings are weird, "Anything else you crave, my dear wife?" he smirks.

Fira knows it sounds weird, she's not even sure if it's what she wants. She frowns slightly, thinking "I don't know...just get something"

Aikuen smiles, "Aye aye. El capi-tan Fira!" he plants another long one on her, and licks her from chin to nose, "Be back soon... You two. Just stay here, and remain pretty!" he is just about to go off, when he stops and looks around, "Unless you want to come of course?" always a thought, even though she should stay off her paws as much as she can.

Fira sticks her tongue out after the lick. Grr. Hasn't stopped him anyway. She opens her mouth to respond but stops and reconsiders "...No, I'll just wait here" not cause she should rest but because getting up off the ground would be embarrassingly clumsy.

Aikuen shakes off the rain that has collected on his whiskers and nods, "Righto... Be back soon!" and he runs off back toward camp. Hopefully they got what she ordered... if not, he will think of something else. And Aik would have helped her get up. Heck. We would have carried her if she asked!

Fira didn't want to ask. In fact she waits until he's out of sight before beginning the struggle to get back up again.

Aikuen, after a long bit of scouring the camp, even including stealing shrimp from the suspecting cooky. Aik returns with a basket, covered with a blanket. Its full of grilled shrimp and hunks of cheese. Mixed together to form a sort of soup like mixture. All in a sealed jar. He also just got regular grilled shrimp and cheese separated for himself, and just in case. Also stole some camp bread. And a canteen full of tea. Just for her. He will drink the rain. When the otter comes into view he goes wide eyed, "Eck Fira!" he runs over, basket in tow.

Fira alas doesn't know he's coming so she eeks when he's suddenly besides her "I'm fine! Really!"...awkward...and flop, she's managed to sit back down again.

Aikuen shouldn't chuckle. He really shouldn't. Its so mean. But he cant help it, and he does. Just a little bit though, as he begins to worry, "What a beautiful dismount darling... are you okay? Haven't broken anything right?" the unborn isn't harmed right? Is the bigger question.

Fira glares at him, she's embarrassed! "Of course I'm alright, I said I was...Not going to break anything just by getting up"

Aikuen sits down next to her, and gulps at the glare. ECK! ANGRY PREGNANT OTTER WIFE! He ties to remove her embarrassment, by kissing her softly, "I was just saying. You have to take it easy. Your carrying another life in you. I just don't want anything to happen... You know..." he nods slowly, "It was the falling down part..."

Fira's glare only intensifies "/You're/ going to lecture me about being careful? Oh I'm sorry! I should never, ever get up again! I should sit here forever and be surrounded by cushions because I'M TOO INCOMPETENT TO LOOK AFTER MYSELF!"

Aikuen drops his jaw slightly. He has never seen Fira like this before. And it... he cant really describe it. It feel like getting stabbed, over a hundred time. But not dying. He blinks and nods, "I'm sorry... I didn't mean it like that..." he blinks and puts the basket in front of her, and doesn't say anything else. )

Let it be known, Fira can be scary. She still glares but he hasn't given her much more to yell at yet so she just sorts and pulls over the basket "You should be sorry

Aikuen nods, "I am..." he mumbles before plunging his claw in the wet sand. He really doesn't know what to say. He knows why he want to protect her so much, from every little thing. He just cant help it. He pulls out his claw and wipes the sand on his leg, "I'm sorry for being over protective... I just don't want anything bad to happen to you... that's all... Sorry... But i cant help it. I have lived through so much. and. And i don't want anything more. Then you to be happy and safe..." he nods slowly, before going back to the sand.

Fira frowns at him but at least it's not a glare as she picks out things to eat without looking "Well you can stop all that worrying. I can look after myself and I can certainly get up without your help"

Aikuen nods slowly, "Okay... I will..." he nods again. He is not hungry anymore, so he lets her have it all, "I got the shrimp and cheese... there in that jar. All warm. And I got you some tea. The kind you like... And some camp bread. Don't know how good it is, but... yeah..." he tries to smile, but its really weak. He looks away and mumbles, "Happy Anniversary..." he says more to himself. He forgot he placed the stone in the bottom of the basket for her to find.

Fira looks back to the basket and sadly doesn't pay his instructions much attention, picking out the cheese shrimp anyway and the tea. The bread getting dipped in the tea and then oddly enough the cheese. Of course she doesn't hear his mumbles or she might not look so angry still. She does spot the rock after a minute or two though and frowns some more "You've gone and bought a rock, I can't eat...oh..." the oh is a lot softer as she's recognised the rock.

Aikuen takes a deep breath, and he remembers, "OH... yeah... Umm... I finished it a few days ago..." the rock has been polished to a sheen. The inscribed words of each otters vows is on each side. And at the bottom, small writing that Aik wrote, just for her can be seen, a poem of some sort 'I Love you more than anything. You make me happy all the time. I live to see you smile. And I'm glad that you are mine. You get me up in the morning. When things always seem down. You make life worth living. Even when you frown. I want you to be happy. And always never sad. And i don't mean to make you angry and mad. I wish for the happy things. To always go your way. I am your stone, and you keep me together' Its signed with all his love. Aik

Fira isn't smiling. Actually her lip's gone all quivery and despite her trying not to she's started crying. She yelled at him for no reason on their anniversary and he gives her a poem! She feels so very low.

Aikuen is not really looking at her. Until he hears her start to cry. He blinks and looks to her, "Fira... Whats..." he then glances to the rock. He could start to cry also. Sad pair aren't they. He goes over and hugs her as tight as he can, "I love you Fira...

Fira puts the rock on her lap so she has both paws free to hug him tightly "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell, you hate me now" to bad she can't hear him being contradictory huh? Little ball of hormonal drama. It's scary.

Aikuen smiles, as tears roll down his face, mixing in with the rain. When she is sad, he is sad, "I'm sorry for treating like a dibbun... You can take care of yourself. I know you can..." he chuckles at the last part, "I don't hate you..." he repeats, "I love you, more than ever..." he sniffs. )

Fira is still crying, sniffing, she's pretty much a bit of a mess but thankfully being soaking wet and rained on hides a bit. She gives him a big kiss before sniffing again "You were just trying to help, I'm so sorry I yelled and ruined our anniversary. I love you"

Aikuen smiles at her, and looks deep into her eyes, "Happy Anniversary Fira..."

Fira smiles faintly back, still crying though "Happy Anniversary Aik" and she leans forwards to give him a kiss.

Aikuen kisses her back, softly, and long, and a bit salty with both their tears. He mmms lightly and takes her paw, and gives it a squeeze. He loves her so much, and we will work on the over protective thing. He would do anything for her. He circles her nose with his, before resting his forehead against her, to look deeper into her eyes.

Fira smiles softly back at him and without a word moves, going to snuggle up to him nice and cozy...and subtly pulling the basket of food back over.

No words need to be said. Aikuen smiles softly at the snuggling. Nice, warm, and it definitely fells good. And he keeps both arms wrapped around her, but enough to let her pull the basket and eat. He grins and sighs happily, wiping the last of the tears away, "Nice weather were having!" he grins as its still raining.

Fira smirks just faintly and sniffles a final time, wiping away the tears and rain quickly "Yeah. Wet" she seems happier and a little more relaxed and once more she pulls stuff out of the basket.

Aikuen grins and kisses her softly, before she starts to eat, "I want you to remember that... I will always love you. Now and forever... No matter what...." he smiles, and kisses her on the nose, "I'm glad that you are mine... Pass the bread please!

Fira smiles back at him and picks the rock up off of her lap "I have a permanent reminder...Do you want the bread with or without the cheese?"

Aikuen smiles and says, "Ill take the one without cheese... Thanks" he grins and places his head on top of hers looking at her paw as she sorts through the basket, "Happy Anniversary Fira. I love you. And I'm glad that you are mine..." he smiles, as he knows she cant hear him. But he bet she will still understand. The two rained on otters, have their meal and rest on the muddy sand, cuddled up together to keep each other warm. Not much was said. But all was understood. They love each other
