Aik and Fira
Characters: Aikuen, Fira
Location: Kentar's Cabin: The otters Room
Its morning now and the older otter is curled up on the floor, by the bed. He did manage to get to sleep after a bit of talking to himself. He still feels really badly for what he did. But more so, to the repercussions he is about to receive. He stirs lightly as he turns, falling asleep quickly again. He has no sign that he was ever drunk or tipsy. His breath as gone back to its old ottery self, and there is no visible things wrong with him. His mouth has stopped bleeding. And more so, he doesn't even have a hangover. He just wishes that yesterday would go away, and no beast would know about it. Good thing he doesn't realize his wedding ring is gone. That might send him over. But for right now the otter is asleep on the floor, against the bed. Hoping that she will wake soon.
Fira is awake. She had wondered why he was on the floor but didn't really have the time to think about it much or give him a proper going over since morning sickness has had her more concerned with sneaking out quietly without waking him. She returns just as quietly as she left though. Tiptoeing back into the room and to her bag just to get a drink and wash out her mouth. Bleh. Mornings.
Aikuen rolls over again and comes in contact with the bed, really hard. He grunts awake and rubs where his head come in contact with the post. He grumbles to himself and tries to fall asleep again when, he notices that Fira is standing up. Well he assumes it Fira. Its more a sleepy blurry mass. But who else could it be. He sits up against the bed, and he starts getting an odd feeling in the bottom of his stomach. Placing his paw to his eyes to wipe out the sleep, and blurriness, he then smiles weakly at her, "Morning Love..." he hmms.
Fira only just spots the movement when he's sitting up and so glances over that way. Her smile's a little tired really but it's a rough morning "Hey...sorry if I woke you up"
Aikuen shakes his head, "Nah, i bonked my head on the bed... that woke me up..." he goes to sit on the bed now, and he says again, "Morning Love... How are my two favorite otters today? Do you need anything? Anything at all? Ill get it? Just say the word!" he says the last parts really quickly. But he didn't chuckle at it.
Fira smirks faintly at him "Well that's what you get for sleeping on the floor. I'm fine, we're fine. Starting to get used to it I guess. Just want to lay about and rest for a bit" flopping down as she speaks to just sit on the edge of the bed.
Aikuen smiles and nods, "And you can rest and lay about all day if you want too. Ill get you everything, that you need... or ever want!" he grins faintly and when she sits on the bed, he hesitantly gives her a hug, and a kiss on the cheek. He smiles and says, "I love you so much... and i want you to be fully happy with everything, all the time... but..." he sighs, "There was a reason why i couldn't lay with you last night... i... couldn't... My conscious was telling me..." he sighs, "I just couldn't... that's why i slept on the floor..." he looks away for a sec, "I did something stupid last night..."
Fira does put an arm round him spending the morning reliving her dinner and generally feeling blah and sore doesn't make her very cuddly, still "Love you too dear and I really am fine" she raises a brow at the last bit. She knew she should have gone with them. She can't help it, there's a bit of a sigh as her shoulders sag "Aik, what happened?"
Aikuen feels like crud again at the sigh, but he has to tell her. Or else he will never feel better, "After i left. Kentar and i, went to a few places. His barracks... then... the pub." he sighs, "I told you guys, that i don't drink anymore. I warned you guys. I barely had... a flagon of Ale, and a couple shots of rum. And..." he takes a deep breath, "A mouse bumped into me. It was a total accident... and I... Slammed by empty glass on his head... Knocked him out instantly and he required stitches..." the takes another deep breath, "Then the bartender was just about to bounce me to jail... He sent two big rats to get me. I fought and knocked them both out... I left... Kentar started yelling at me... i punched him in the gut. He is fine. I went back to the pub, apologized, and try to make everything better again. I even took the mouse to a healer. And made sure he came around again. None of them are going to take me to the guards... And all said it was alright. But... I still feel bad for what i did... I tried to make everything better." now he feels like Fira in the morning.
Fira stares at him. Her mind's skipped a few words in the surprise but really she has to wonder if she should be surprised. There's another sigh and she runs a paw through her hair. Just thinking for a minute "...I'm glad you sorted it all out again...and yeah, maybe drinking wasn't a good idea...you wouldn't do it sober" she doesn't really know what to feel right now.
Aikuen nods slowly, "No... i wouldn't... that's why i was so adamant about not drinking again. But after what happened yesterday. I will never drink again. No matter what. No matter what Kentar says. Or what you say. Or anybody else. I'm done... I... hate when I'm like that... I cant deal with it anymore..." he sighs and looks down, to rub his eyes for a second before looking at her again, "When i came back... and i saw you... i was afraid. I never want you to be mad, or scared or concerned for me... but when i saw you... my conscious was telling me something its says every time i do something stupid... its says, 'You don't deserve her'... that's why i curled up on the floor..." he looks away again.
Well that sorts out Fira's feelings and she looks a little sorry for him, going to give him a tight hug "It's not entirely your fault. We should have listened and not said it was alright. Everything was fixed again in the end so there's no problem...You do deserve me and whether you believe it or not I'm still not going anywhere"
Aikuen grins slightly and hugs her back. YAY! He doesn't feel like crud anymore! And that voice, flies out the windows... hopefully never to come back again. He chuckles and squeezes her tightly, "Thank you... That means lot to me... Don't know where i would be, without you..." he then kisses her softly, before going back to hugging her, "I had to tell you... And I'm glad everything is alright again. I just had to make sure it was... okay, enough by you... or else i would never be the same... I love you more than anything, and i want to make you happy..." he grins and starts to softly nuzzle her, with a paw on her belly.
Fira does still hug him back and this time he gets a kiss too, this is not to say he's off the hook though! She waggles a paw at his nose just before he can nuzzle "Now, hang on. The rats and mouse will be fine and not looking to lock you up right? And Kentar doesn't need talking to in order to forgive you? /And/ you give your word you'll never drink again?"
Aikuen holds his head back, and hides a small grin, as she talks to him that way. He nods to each in turn, "The rats will be fine. I made sure they would heal properly and gave them each there own bottle of Rum, and a few gold coins. They seemed more surprised that i came back to do so. And they said it was alright, as it happens many times before. The mouse as well. I took him to the healer. Payed for the stitches, and stayed until he came around. He said it was alright, as it was an accident. Though i doubt he wants to see me anytime. Both said that they will not tell the guards about this. And unless somebeast saw and wants to be mean. I should not be locked up... As for Kentar. He was apologizing to me by the end of the night. As he realized that i told him that i shouldn't drink. He got first paw experience in that. But i should apologize for punching him..." he holds up his good paw, "And i swear, that i will never touch the stuff again. I don't think i could if i wanted too. Its hurts me too much. No alcohol shall ever pass my lips again..." he puts it down and sighs. He will do anything she wants him to. As she makes him a better beast. Now can he nuzzle her? Please!
No. Because she's already giving his nose a nuzzle first "Good then you've already fixed it all, taken care of the mistake and it's in the past" she gives him a little kiss before finally relaxing again with a small smirk "Now, go fetch me a fish or something and if you see Kentar apologise too"
Aikuen grins and feels so much better. Now what to do about Fira and her morning sickness? There is not much he can do about that, but he will try to make it as comfortable as he possibly can for her, while she is with child. He mmms at the nuzzle and even more so at the kiss. When she pulls away to relax again, he grins stupidly at her before going to kiss her belly, "Righto! One big Fish for the mother-to-be... and lots of other foods for you. Ill bring some hot tea also. A few biscuits, like my hardtack..." he gets up and starts for the door, but he is continuing to look at her, "How about a few veggies... and fruits... Bye Fira! and maybe some sort of sauce, Bye little one!" he grins and pops out the door.
