Dangeon, Notch, Gage

Having managed, barely, to evade the mad king's forces, Queen Dangeon, prince Notch, and Gage, the captain, find themselves struggling aboard the Knothills' charred boat.

As the boat bobs along, Dangeon has, again, sporadically awakened, still drunk, and started singing some rather bawdy songs about a 'squid's wife' and a 'dashing hedgehog'. She's still laying in the floor of the boat, but every so often flails her limbs 'in time' to the tuneless yelling she's calling a 'song'.

Notch is clinging to the side of the boat, staring out over the side as he feels sick, "Bloody polecat, and Punch the fool! Who am I gonna kick around now?" Notch grumbles, grunting as the queen awakens and interrupts such thoughts, "Ah! Queeny ya awake, have a good nap eh did'cha?"

The polecat captain sits up near the charred bow of the little boat, surveying the damage and doing his best to stay away from his shipmates. The boat is in sorry shape, the sails are now merely blackened peices of cloth hanging from the scorched mast. There are spots of burnt wood all over the boat from where the archers' arrows found their marks. They're just lucky the craft still floats. Gage himself is not looking his best, his shirt ripped and charred in a few places, and most of his clothing still drying from wading out to the boat and subsequently trying to put out the fires. Speaking of which, there is a thin layer of water still in the boat, about and inch deep, swishing back and forth on the deck as the boat bobs in the waves.

This water is only -just- noticed by the 'queen' as she's about to reply to Notch. "AND THE SQUID WEN- AH?! Cor-course 'm bally 'wake! We're un-under a-bloomin 'tack y' liddle... little... what ar- OH MY HELLGATES THERE'S WATER IN THE BOAT WE'RE SINKING!" She starts to flail again. "SWIM F'R Y'R EYES!"

Notch laughs miserably, still clinging to the side of the boat, "Its just a little water ya highness, ain't gonna kill ya despite your well known avoidance of it."

Gage buries his face in his plam, rubbing his reddened eyes, "Oi, yer highness!" he calls, standing up, his boots splashing lightly as he walks over towards the panicing hare queen. "Calm down, calm down, yer majesty..." he says, attempting to grab her shoulder, "We're not gonna sink," he reassures her, though he mumbles, "At least no' yet."

Dangeon seems to calm just a little as she's comforted twice about the water, but has a hare's ears, unfortunately for Gage. "PLUG THE BOAT PLUG THE BOAT! ABANDON SHIP!" Her panic saves Notch any real retaliation, however the 'queen' is now trying to climb over the side.

"Bloody calm down long ears, we ain't gonna sink but ya is gonna go for a swim if ya go overboard!" Notch still clings firmly to the side of the boat, shaking his head but feeling too weak/ill to do much more than advise the queen against it.

Gage realizes that it hardly matters whether or not he calls the royalty by her title, considering the king already wants him dead. "Dangeon!" he yells, seeing her trying to climb overboard, "Get back in here you stupid hare!" he grabs at the collar of her dress, trying to pull her back into the craft.

Dangeon is pulled back into the boat and falls back into the water, splashing into a sit, with a hurt expression on her face. She jabs a paw, pointing at the both of them shakily. "Y-hic-you can't ordah me 'roun'! N'both 'f you can' ordah me 'roun'! 'M -hic- 'm the bally queen!" She holds the position for a full five seconds before she starts to tilt to the side, slowly falling over to her right.

"We know ya are, we just rather ya drown yourself in booze rather than the bloody sea queeny, " Notch grins, and is is sick and hurls over the side of the boat, "Feel free to go swimming in that why don't'cha, " The rat prince laughs.

Gage considers trying to get Dangeon to see the seriousness of all this, but he sighs, giving up, and strides back to the bow, putting one footpaw up on the side, looking out towards the coastline.

Dangeon looks like she's going to be sick herself, once Notch is. Unfortunately... she's been pulled into the boat and lacks the balance to reach the side. And lurches forward toward Notch as she heaves. She promptly passes out immediately afterward.

Notch escapes just barely from being heaved completely on, but the rolling of the boat sends chunks flying Notch's way and this all while the rat prince is facing outward so he groans and stares at the hare passed out on the floor of the boat, "Bloody hell, that's just great!"

Gage is luckily facing away from the sick hare, but he winces as a little hits his back. He does not turn around, but he face, looking the other way, is struggling to hide anger. He almost wishes he had been captured right about now.

"Oy, you're a great captain of a half sunken boat filled with sickness and us most worthy highnesses, " Notch laughs, sighs and clings to the side of the boat still, "I miss Punch." There, he said it.
