Been thinking about that dusty old ruin lately, and methinks maybe it would be worth an effort to try and revitalize an unused part of the muck. The current idea flowing through my head would be to remake the group and city as the furthest colony of some distant Aclidian Empire or Kingdom, but as Aclidia (the city) is so isolated its laws and manner of governing have diverged greatly from the ideals of the original Empire/Kingdom. Governing of the city would be left to a council of nobles and lords, possibly oversaw by a governor of some sort. The main basis for Tiny Plots would most likely revolve around the amount of corruption and animosity that plagues the ruling council of nobles, with conflicts and perhaps all out war between the city and the lords and nobles that owe allegiance to the city. Aclidia would also have a dedicated slave trade and fighting arena, so other TPs could stem from slave uprisings, festivals, tournaments and so on.
The city would need a variety of characters to fulfill its needs. Everyday folks would be a must, along with beasts to fight in the arena, guards and soldiers, merchants, and so on and so forth. The trick would be filling the slots for nobles and lords. As they most likely wouldn't all be jammed into the same city at once (seeing as many would own their own lands and those lands could be spread out across muck), many of them would be away from the city for extended periods of time. This would require a level of commitment from their players, but perhaps a few entrepreneurial souls could find the time to create their own lands and continue their stories elsewhere.
If this idea were to take off I believe it would provide a good opportunity to repopulate a dead part of the muck, and provide a few unique RP opportunities along the way!
So...whatcha all think? Lol
