As you may have heard, there is a new Badger Lord coming to Salamandastron, and the rumors are all true. His name is Ciocan. He'll be arriving shortly (the exact time escapes me) to the Mountain to take over, and we would like for anyone who wants to participate to join in. To do that, you just need to ask yourself a few questions:
1. Is my character currently near Salamandastron? If yes, go to 2. If no, go to 3.
2. Do I want to participate? If yes, then great! Stay posted for a time. If no, then repeat.
3. Is there a good reason I don't have an LP character? If yes, then repeat. If no, then you should create an LP character. Information on the group here.
Besides the introduction of a new Badger Lord, I wanted to post some details to let people know about the status of the LP and how to get in on the action. OOCly, there has been very little activity, so the IC reality has to mirror that to some extent.
As the old Badger Lord, Sebastian has been holding down the fort, so to speak, but little else. The Long Patrol fell on hard times a few seasons back, losing many of its members. The village of Halyard, once a thriving hub of trade, has dwindled to very small population as well, mostly creatures who couldn't afford to leave or refused to go through sheer stubbornness. A skeleton crew at the Mountain still kept on, preserving the organization and doing what they could to protect the coast, but have been largely unable to provide assistance to other areas because of their small size. It is into this situation that Ciocan will walk, a young badger drawn by fate to the Fire Mountain, destined to restore the Long Patrol to its former glory.
If this sounds interesting to you, again, we would love to have you look into the LP. The link to the group page is here, or you can scroll all the way to the bottom of the group list.
