A Lot Has Happen, For Both Sides (Frosted Arrow)

Flare was ready to pounce on any guard that came to the door, “So this stills a good plan?”

Hyde just nodded as he didn’t have much to say and they needed to escape and escape soon and hopefully find Zee as well.

The door opened and Bora was there with a smirk, “I thought I release you today, but the only way I would release you is to release you from life, see your becoming an annoyance to me and I need to further get the one badger to suffer and see that I mean business, so who dies first?” He draws out his own blade and grins.

Flare narrows his eyes and then goes to charge the fox “How about you chap!”

Hyde knows some paw to paw and is ready to defend his friend if need be.

Bora is a bit surprised, he has not expected the captives to try and attack him and so he is knocked down, but he does swing forwards and try to slice at the hare.

Flare ducks, but the slice crosses into his ear and thought the other side, leaving him with just half his left ear, he quickly holds his bleeding ear, and sends a swift kick to the fox and then goes to roll and bolt.

Hyde growls and then rushes forwards to send a punch to the fox’s jaw, if it connects he will follow Flare and make sure the hare gets to safety, if it doesn’t he will kick the fox in hopes of knocking him backwards.

Bora starts to attack the hare and then gasps in shock as the hare’s kick goes into his chest, winded he barely gets out “Gu..guards!”Any further alerts are stopped as the badgers fist slams into his snout and he is knocked out cold. But three guards were alerted and go after the badger and hare.

The hare gets to a hallway and looks back and forth before seeing a door on the fare end, “I bet that’s where Zee is!”

Hyde catches up and nods, he then frowns as he sees the guards coming. “We have trouble” he says mono-tone voice as ever.

The guards try to surround them and more block the way to Zee’s cell, the only way out is an open window in the hallway, looks like someone may get into trouble today.

Flare frowns and lays a paw on his forehead, blood loss has gotten to him even if his ear has temporary stopped bleeding, he passes out.

Hyde catches him and goes to jump out the window, he barely fits and then bolts on down a path, he knocks out the two guards blocking a path and then disappears down a trail and towards the camp of the Flowing Stream.

A weasel, Steel watches them from a tree and jumps down, he heads to report to Bora and the other Frosted Arrow.

An hour later Bora is being tended to by a healer, “Who..WHO! Left the window open!”

A younger fox steps forwards , “s..Sir..it..it was stuffy and the other guards needed fresh air and so did I , I saw no harm in it as the captives were locked in the cell at the time and I also figured the others would stop them before they got to the window and out of it sir, I promise it won’t happen again sir.”

Bora nods at the fox “I know..I know you won’t fail me again.” He nods to Steel, “Kill him.” He says flatly and deadly calm in his voice.

Steel nods “Of course my Master..” He draws out his blade and without a warning he goes to slice at the fox’s neck, enough to most likely behead the fox or least leave a serious gash in his neck.

The young fox backs up “No…..” And that is his last word as he falls forwards, dead and beheaded.

About this time a falcon flies in with a pouch and drops it at Bora’s footpaws, it tilts his head, “From..Magus bringum gifts and note”

Bora watches, no emotion in his face as the younger fox dies and then looks at the pouch the falcon brings him and goes to open it slowly.

The pouch has a smaller coin like pouch with an odd key in it, and a torn, stained with blood of some sort, green cloak with a couple pins of some sort on it, and the note and reads it. “Master Bora, I have the key and proof the badger maid is no longer a problem. Magus.” Little does he know this note is a lie, for now he believes it to be true.

Steel stays close by and watches.

Bora smiles coldly and looks over at the chest or iron and then goes to try the key, he grins as it clicks open and he opens the chest and draws forth a well-made, very unique blade, “A little..heavy but I should get use to it…The Blade Of The Northwinds Storm is mine!!!” He chuckles and lays it down in the chest locking it for now. “But I shall deliver this news another day, first…” He picks up the cloak “I need to visit our guest who is still in a cell, he will want to know of his niece’s fate” Least it would seem, and he trusts his seer, that the badger maid is dead, the seer has no reason to lie as that would cost the seer his life and Magus wouldn’t dare lie and trick and if the chieftain of the Frosted Arrow ever found out he was lied to, that would be a dark day indeed…for the one who lied to him. He then goes to speak to Zee.

• • • • Half an Hour Later *****

Bora checked on Zee and smirks, “How is my captive? Pitiful I do hope, I got word back and a gift from my seer beast, Magus. Couse he had a falcon bring it to me, falcons fly fairly quickly.

Dropped at the badger’s footpaws is a torn, dirty, and what appears like blood stained green traveler’s cloak with a quill pen and acorn pin on it.

Zee’s eyes go wide as he looks at what is on the floor, he then growls at the fox and narrows his eyes, “If this holds any truth to it, I will make sure you suffer for this Bora, and suffer painfully.”

Bora chuckles coldly, “You are in no shape to do much of anything stripe dog, but maybe beg for death which will only come will I decide it to come, your friends may of gotten away but I still have you and they will come for you most likely.”

Zee stares at the torn cloak and looks away from the artic fox and stares at the wall, he can only hope Hyde and Flare are ok, he stays quiet and keeps the thin blanket he has held around him

Bora smirks and leaves, locking the door behind him, no parting words as he feels he has done enough harm for one day.

Zee waits till he leaves and fights back threatening tears, but the past week he has been keeping some secrets from the fool fox as he drops the blanket it’s clear he has been working out some as he does some push-ups and sit ups, two pawed and one pawed. He also practices some kicks.

The badger is interrupted by a weasel, one that has strangely brought him extra food and seems to have befriended him, “I bring news..badger.”

Zee stops his exercise, he been doing the past 3 hours and walks over, “Steel..you shouldn’t be here, you’re going to get caught one day, what news?” He gets the food and eats it.

Steel answers, “The hare and other badger made it to the wolf clan, I saw them but didn’t tell Bora and I won’t..they were injured but should be ok.”

Zee nods, “Keep me updated and when I get out of here I would give you advice, in fact I give it now. Leave while you can, this won’t be a good place to stay either way soon , Bora has done hardly anything the past couple weeks, he is surely up to something.”

Steel nods and exits, he says before he leaves “I will think on your words but not yet as Bora would just be curious of my suddenly departure.” He seems to debate on mentioning the new sword Bora has, but decides to not do that just yet, it would be better it he found that out from Bora, which he most likely will, and so Steel leaves after locking the cell door.

Zee watches him leave and does some more exercises before he goes to sleep for the night. His plan is to keep in shape and maybe even get into better shape, but at the same time hide this fact best he can from Bora, He needs to scape and get to the Flowing Stream Tribe before it’s too late, and to stop Bora and The Frosted Arrow before its’s too late and to make them pay for all the pain both mental and physical that the artic fox has caused him, his family, and his friends.
