RW Abbey: Bunk Room

When Harper and Flax talked about taking the long and scenic route to the abbey, they really meant it. How long have they been traveling? A month? Two? Three? To be honest, Harper has lost track. He wasn't too concerned about keeping score to begin with. However long it's been, the young buck has filled out and grown into himself over the course of their travel, looking fully his age and beyond it, to a certain extent. His clothing, consisting of a worn shirt and trousers, barely fit him any longer, looking stretched and strange on his form. It is this Harper who finds himself peering into the abbey bunk room with sleepily half-lidded eyes. He is not entering the room, but rather holds it open for someone else. He looks back into the hallway, whisperingly. "Darlin'?"

That someone comes up next to him, grins up, and goes through the door, her paw training along his a little bit. Then she stops, just inside, to survey the room, turning to look back to him. "We're really here, I guess." She whispers. Nervous moment. She looks pretty much as she did when they left the abbey, though her clothes are more travel worn by a lot. Except... she's got a confidence in the way she carries herself that was not there before.

They both have a quiet confidence that wasn't there, before. One only has to see the way Harp slips his paw into hers to know why, though. It's easier to be confident when you're two. He grins faintly. "... I'll let them know we're here, if you want to just go to sleep. It's been a long day," he concludes with a smile and a squeeze of her paw.

Flaxpaw nods, leaning her head to his shoulder slightly and returning the squeeze. "Alright, if you don't mind. It has been a long day....." She tilts her head slightly to look up at him. "I love you, Harp." Grin.

Harper turns his head to rest his forehead against hers, smiling softly. "I love you too." He places a brief kiss to the other doe's lips, then releases her and her paw, turning to head back out into the hallway. "... I'll be back in a few." He glances back when he reaches the door, grins tiredly, and heads out.
