LOL, I laughed when Flea and Minsc stole the pie xD *applauds*
SCENE: Redwall Abbey entryway
CHARACTERS: Ferro, a male monitor lizard. DoraRose, a female mouse.
LOG:
Ferro disliked the cool wind, it wasn't deathly cold yet but a couple times a cold wind did blow as he mutters to himself. He has on an extra thick cloak, under that a couple layers of clothing. He vows to himself after today he stays in his shop till spring.
DoraRose opens the gate to the lizard, bundled up in a similar fashion. "Ferro! Good to see you; you're brave to be out in this weather." Or crazy, but she will NEVER mention that to anyone, and /especially/ not to his face. "I have no idea why Benar thought having the wedding outside would be a good idea."
Ferro speaks as he walks in "He hassssssssssssssss fur, mossssssssssssst of you do" He leaves it at that, normally he be inside, but today is important so, here he is.
DoraRose closes the gate behind him. "Aye, but I hate the cold. It's only okay to be out here in this weather if you're having a funeral, in my opinion....and maybe not even then." She goes over to a fire that they have burning in a metal thingy beside the door of the gatehouse. "Come stand by this. I've been beside it because I'm technically on duty for a while and so I can't go inside.....but I'm adverse to being up on the wall when it's even a tiny bit breezy in this temperature."
Ferro says, "SSSSSSStill time to be....ssssssssssome sssssslightly warm daysssssssss....no ssssssssnow....yet"
DoraRose shrugs. "I think if it's gonna be cold, then it should be freezing so there can be snow. Or warm. None of this stupid in-between stuff." She may be furry, but that doesn't mean she enjoys the cold by any means.
Ferro listens as he speaks "I am here for Krisha, then I leave for my ssssssssssssshop"
DoraRose listens and nods. "Fair enough. I'm surprised that you were able to make it, honestly. Will you want somebeast to walk you back, just in case the temperature drops?"
Ferro is quiet before speaking once more "I can make it my sssssssssssssself, not many would want to walk with a monitor"
DoraRose shrugs. "I don't mind. All the monitors I feared are long dead, so I feel that there's nothing to worry about." She glances at him, then bends down to get more wood for the fire. "I was volunteering myself, of course; I hope to be able to track down that turncoat Brookshire and teach her a lesson or 2....with my hammer, of course."
Ferro asks, "She wassssssssss the one whom helped take the bassssssse yesssss?"
DoraRose nods as she sticks the wood into the metal thingy. "Aye, she was. We thought we could trust her, but apparently she's more than willing to betray her friends for a few coins." The mouse carefully shoves the logs into the fire with a poker. Sparks fly into the air a little.
Ferro says, "I am sssssssssure ssssssssssshe will be found and punished"
DoraRose stares into the flames. "Oh, she will be. She will be." The firelight makes her look kinda creepy. There's no doubt that she's in the mood to kill a dastardly traitor of a ferret....
Ferro nods "I may not be able to help asssssssssssssss much asssssssss could, do ssssssstab the ferret good for me, sssssssssshe upset Krisha greatly"
DoraRose smiles. "I sure will do. Speaking of Krisha, shall we head over to the Rose Garden for the wedding? It should be here soon." She points to where the garden is....
Ferro nods "Yesssssss.....letssssssss go" He follows the mousemaid

CHARACTERS: Benar, a male squirrel. DoraRose, a female mouse. Emyuil, a male mouse. Various spoofs.
LOG:
Benar is standing in the Entry, the abbot is wrapped up in his thickest habit, scarf, a woolly hat and gloves and is standing next to one of the hand carts that are going up to the spice market. it is laden down with various food stuffs. It is all surplus food really vegetables and wheat and other materials for bartering with the traders at the market. There are several abbey guards around, novices to pull the carts and a couple of abbey beasts attending to the abbot on this trip.
DoraRose is at the gate, looking longingly at the cart. She really, really wants to go; she's felt cooped up in the Abbey for so long, she wants to escape for a time! But she's not so sure the Abbot would be up for her doing that, so she's still debating about asking him. Her sword is at her side because she's on guard duty. Leaning back against the gate, she pulls the edges of her thick, mottled green-brown-grey cloak around her and rubs her bemittened paws together. Her hat looks bumpy because it's covering her ears.
Benar's thick grey tail dances back and forth behind him as he chatters with Sister Sylvie and Brother Albie about what they intend to buy. The three of them pouring over the contents of a list provided by the groundskeeper and friar. Looking up Benar checks around to see how the crowd are doing, most things seem ready he is just waiting for the badgers now it seems. He does spot his gatekeeper though and gives her a long look then smiles and moves sedately towards her, "DoraRose, good morning."
DoraRose jumps, startled. "Oh! Benar, hi. I was just, uh, watching the whole cavalcade y'got there. Looks like an exciting outing." Well, maybe exciting isn't the best choice of word, since her idea of excitement usually involves somebody dying. "Do y'all have enough guards?" She tugs her hat down and flips her hood up over it. She forgot her scarf.
Benar chuckles softly, "I am sure I have more then enough guards, Magramba has been quite indepth in selecting my escort,." he steps to the side then loops his arm around one of hers, "What I don't have is enough friends, so what say you join me in the capacity as Abbotly friend and we leave all the guarding and scouting to Magramba's beasts."
DoraRose smiles a little as the Abbot loops his arm through hers. "Wellll.....okay, yeah, sure. That'd be great!" She sighs. "I've felt cooped up in here for months, especially with the battle a few weeks ago. And now that....." she trails off. She's sad about her son and his wife going to travel with the circus (they literally ran away with the circus), although she's still not as sad as the Bellringer, who has wept every day since she found out. Lily's taking this hard, which is probably why she's nowhere around here anywhere to wish the travelers farewell. Sighing, the Warrior continues, saying, "Since Caleb and Cynthia left, I've been....feeling the need to do something, y'know? I wish my babies hadn't grown up..."
Emyuil walks slowly out to the entry, having seen DoraRose and the Abbot preparing to leave. He's retrieved his sword, just in case, and seems intent on accompanying them. "Room for one more?" he asks casually, his relatively at-ease demeanor partially concealing the same cooped up feelings that DoraRose already expressed.
Benar guides Dora back towards the carts which are now all lined up and ready to depart, "Sadly that ... is one of the facts of life. We all wish someone in our lives hadn't grown up. I wish Cynthia was still the young charming lady she was who wanted to learn how to sing and dance... or my other adoptive son. He's a giant monitor lizard now, I can't exactly hold him in my lap and read him stories anymore." he pats Dora's arm and smiles at her, "But we can enjoy the fact they are happy and I do think they will be very glad and no doubt stay in touch." he looks up at Emyuil and smiles, "Of course I always have room for more friends and we are about ready to leave."
DoraRose covers her face with a paw. "Oooh, Zarok! Why'd you have to go off and mention him? I miss him as a Dibbun, too. Phooey." She smiles at her brother, eyes twinkling. "Well, I dunno," she teases, "what if the Abbey gets attacked by rabid carrots? Who will protect everybeast?"
Emyuil laughs. "I'm sure the Abbeybeasts can handle it if there're not too many of 'em," he says, winking. "But cabbages may be an issue...Ever seen a cabbage on the hunt?"
Benar exclaims, "It's ok we harvested them all already! Now then," he starts for the gates and heads out onto the road and turns north as the carts start to follow. The guards run past to fan out and scout as the abbot heads up towards the woods, "It's quite nice to be out and about for once, it always seems I rarely get to leave the abbey. it is nice to walk through the woods sometimes"
DoraRose giggles, then goes to shove her brother. Running away, she slides to a stop beside the Abbot and pretends to be mature. "Aye, it is nice....I do like being able to come out here and not having to worry about invading lunatics or whatever." She snuggles the neck of her cloak up higher. "Er, does anybeast have a spare scarf I can borrow? I forgot to grab mine." She'll blame her brother if asked.
Emyuil runs out next to his sister after almost falling over, not from the shove, but from laughter. "Yeah, you left it in the gatehouse. When I went to see if you were in, you'd left it there." He tosses it to her.
Benar shakes his head, "Sorry Dora, I only brought one, I'd say you could borrow mine but it seems your brother has saved the day," he looks forwards at the trees as we approach them, "It does make a change to be outside shopping for once instead of fighting off evil beasts intent on murdering me."
DoraRose grabs her pretty orange scarf and wraps it around her throat by folding it in half, draping the double layer around her neck, and stuffing the tail through the loop. "Thanks, you're a lifesaver." She seems genuinely happy, and she goes to link arms with the Abbot and her brother. "Well, if you weren't such an important, special beast, you wouldn't have this problem!" Taking a deep breath of Autumn air, she adds, "But in all seriousness, it is wonderful to not have to worry about making sure that neither you nor anybeast dies."
Emyuil nods in agreement, linking arms with his sister dutifully. "Yeah......it's nice." He inhales the Autumn air as well, enjoying the crisp feeling of it in his lungs, exhaling slowly. "It's beautiful out here."
Benar laughs, "Me, special? Important? you are mistaking me for someone else Dora, I am just myself, Benar," he shakes his head as we walk through the carpet of thick golden and brown and red and yellow leaves of late autumn, Mossflower is just carpeted in the leaves as the little convoy from the abbey winds its way through the woods towards the spice market, "It is so nice to be out here... I miss the days when I had the run of Mossflower."
DoraRose laughs lightly. "Well, the crazies think you're important. And you're important to your friends." Letting the 2 go, she skips forward a few paces and, without slowing down, does a pair of very LilyMoore-like cartwheels. Landing on her feet, she grabs her hat from where it fell on the ground, twirls around, and smiles at her brother and friend. "Run of Mossflower? Whatever do you mean?" Was he in charge of the woodlands?
Emyuil snorts at DoraRose's burst of agility. "Haven't seen you do that in a while," he notes, mirth lighting up his eyes briefly. He listens intently to Benar, curious as to his explanation.
Benar claps Dora's antics as he walks along, kicking up leaves as he strolls along, "When i was young, I was a pretty wild squirrel. Mother let me roam free around mossflower, from camp willow to the abbey to the market place... from tree to tree I wandered and scampered and explored every place there was to see in Mossflower."
DoraRose smiles as she listens, still walking backwards and managing to not run into anything. "Wow....Mossflower was really safe back then, huh? No wonder you get so upset every time some lunatic comes to try and take over the area." She looks at her brother. "I wish Tuscani was that safe; if we had gone wandering, we could've been captured and sold into slavery."
"Aye," Emyuil says grimly, nodding slightly. "Surprised we both made it to Mossflower honestly, when we came here. I mean, we weren't exactly helpless then, but the odds were certainly against us..." Shaking off the thoughts of those days, he continues. "Anyways, I wonder how things are back there now."
Benar smiles "Mossflower was quiet, and peaceful, the north was the real dangerous place, Ruingate, city of slavery and vermin was a thing back then before it imploded on itself," he shakes his head, "But Mossflower itself was quiet, peaceful, few would dare the wrath of the abbey or its protectors."
DoraRose sighs. "Tuscani is probably like it always was, if not worse....I wish the freaks that keep coming knew about our wrath." Sighing, she yelps and ducks as a Sparra flies close to her head and crashes into a big pile of leaves. "Butterclaw?" A mumble comes from within the leaf pile.
"We should visit someda--" Emyuil is interrupted when he nearly takes a sparrow to the head, throwing himself aside when DoraRose yelps. Standing up again, he glances at the leaf pile. "Eh?"
Benar watches the sudden sparra with amusement and turns off the main path, heading down the winding, small path toward the spice market, the convoy following them, "Well at least we made it here with all these trade goods unmolested. What say we get to trading I have quite the list."
Butterclaw appears from the leaves! "Lilyfriend asked for specialrope. I gofly findsome!" And off he flutters. "Hey, wait, I didn't--UNGH, come back!" Dora chases after the sparrow because obviously. She'll head back to Redwall with the rest of everyone.
Benar laughs as Dora races off and shakes his head, "Well i guess she is busy," he holds up his list, "So Emyuil, shall we head out and see what we can find? herbs, spices, nothing that exciting."
Emyuil heads off after his sister. "Y'whatnow?" he calls out as he sprints off in her wake, figuring Benar has enough company what with the rest of the convoy being there.

And so that all happened xD Looks like Benar is gonna hafta wait for the mice to come back if he wants his friends to help him pick out the perfect thingies.
Thanks for reading!
This is gonna be a fun TP!
I'm sending LilyMoore, and I will have decided by next week if I'm sending Angela....but they'll both come back ![]()
Thanks for posting this little backstory! ![]()
DoraRose (or LilyMoore) would be more than willing to help hem the dress ![]()
And Dora would insist on teaching Krisha how to sew if she doesn't know how to.
We can say that that happened ICly....that Dora and Lily hemmed the skirt, and D.R. gave Krisha a lesson if she wanted it ![]()
Ooh, oh, I could have Lily play the bells, maybe!
I should pmail Xander and Krisha about that....

SCENE: Halyard docks
CHARACTERS: Rioko (a.k.a. 'Rio'....and no, she's not Brazilian), a vixen. Felicity (a.k.a. 'Lissie' and 'Fel'), a female hare. Various spoofs.
LOG:
The docks were in full swing, evenin the fall months. Ships come and go, cargo is unloaded as beasts board outbound ships.
"What do you mean this isn't enough?!" Rioko hisses.
"Sorry ma'am, but this isn't enough money for passage as even a stowaway. Unless of course, you want us to toss you off halfway..." The weasel smirks. Rioko just sighs.
Not too long ago she could have easily paid for passage out of this Light forsaken town. However almost all of that money recovered from the gambling den went right to creature comforts. The pot bellied vixen dressed in cloth wrappings pulled at her ears. "Please! You got to let me on this ship!" The weasel only laughs at the fox's plight, turning to leave...
Felicity has been searching for the vixen ever since her uncle was found dead on the beach. She's now in the docks of the village, ignoring the glares aimed in her direction. Her facial expression is that of anger and deep sorrow; to say that she has a haunted look in her eyes would be an understatement. She has yet to see the fox she is hunting, but she is close....
"You don't understand!" The vixen throws herself at the weasel, practically falling to her knees as she clings to his arm, "I'm going to die if you leave me here!"
"Get off me you crazy fox!" The weasel pries himself from the vixen's grasp, he turns, pointing at Felicity, "Hey! You! Cotton tail! Ain't it your job to deal with beasts like this?"
Rioko eyes widen, a silent scream forms at the back of her throat before she scrambles to get away!
Felicity's gaze snaps to look at the duo, then her face hardens into a furious glare as she takes off at a run to catch vixen. "Thankyoubravecitizen!" she manages to say as she passes the weasel, easily catching up to her quarry. She is a Long Patrol Runner, after all. Growling, she tries to tackle the vixen, but their weight difference may impede that....
The fox yelps as she goes down face first onto ground. They really need to stop meeting like this, "It's not my fault! I swear!" the vixen shouts, because that is what innocent beasts always shout when confronted by the law.
Felicity sits on the fox. "Oh, /really/? Whot's not your fault? The fact that m'uncle is /dead/? Or somthin' else?" She is keeping her sword sheathed....for now. Instead, she goes to cuff the vixen's ear. To say that she's angry is an understatement, just as saying that she's sad would be.
The fox whimpers, trying to wriggle her way out from under the hare. "Well /I/ didn't kill him! But if you don't let me go, I'm a dead fox!"
Felicity goes to grab the vixen by her ear and twist it. "Aye, well, you'll be an even deadah fox ifns y'don't answer m'questions, wot! I 'eard that y'abandoned 'im aftah 'e saved y'from those lizards, so ye're m'first suspect."
The fox yelps as her ear is twisted. "I didn't ABANDON him!" She says, remembering how she actually did abandon him. But Flint wasn't around to refute her claims, not any more. "He sacrificed himself to save me. Once I got away from the lizards I ran like he told me to. Forgive me if I didn't go back to check on him once they put a bleedin bounty on me hide! It's not like I have had pleasent experiences with them, wot?" Says the fox tackled by the hare.
"But I know who killed him, and I would be happy to tell you if you would kindly get yer fat cotton tail off of me!"
"Liahr!" Lissie growls, standing, but keeping a hold of the vixen's ear. "'E told me only a few days aftah that time that you 'ad /walked/ off an' left 'im. Y'should be glad that m'Lord Ciocan found Uncle F....Fl.....found 'im, wot!" She goes to mercilessly drag the vixen to a nearby abandoned shack. By her ear. She definitely has a firm hold on the fox's ear.
Despite the many stares they receive, no one aids the whining vixen as she is dragged away. "I didn't know he was yer uncle! Please! You got to believe me! Why would /I/ kill Flint after he saved my life?" she whines again as her ear is twisted, "Blast it you fuz headed dolt! A pair of monitor lizards killed him! They were BRAGGING about it in the tavern I work at!"
Felicity kicks the door open to the shack and goes to shove the vixen inside. If she doesn't succeed, the vixen had better run in there or else find out just how pointy the short sword this Long Patroller carries is. After they're both inside, the haremaid closes the door as best as she can, then rests her forehead on the doorjam, struggling to fight back tears.
The fox stands away from the hare. Rioko is probibly the last beast she wants to even try to comfort her. Rubbing her sore ear, the fox growls, "Attor. His name was at-tore... or something like that. He called his friend Snadjaw. They were both big, mean and gnarly beasts. They... killed one of the patrons in a fight."
The fox's shoulders slump. "Felicity. They have your uncle's sword. They keep it as a trophy."
Felicity sniffles as the vixen talks, and rubs her snotty nose on her sleeve. The haremaid then tenses. Okay, first, the fox just used her FULL name, not some weird nickname or insult. Secondly..... "M'uncle's sword?" Trembling, the Long Patrol Private stands up straight.... and punches a hole straight through the rickety door that probably was gonna fall apart here soon, anyway. The hare brings her paw back through the hole, then holds it and dances around a little, making noises that sound peculiarly like stifled profanity. Which is also the first time the fox will have heard that kind of language from the hare.
~*TO BE CONTINUED.....*~
LilyMoore is sad, as is DoraRose. But they'll enjoy each letter as it arrives.
Thank you for not killing them. <3

SCENE: Redwall Abbey Infirmary.
CHARACTERS: Xander, a male badger. DoraRose and Angela, female mice. Krisha, a female badger.
LOG:
Xander has only been back a short while, sometime in the middle of the night or was it a couple hours before sunrise, he wasn't sure. What he was sure of was being sore and able to move a lot better than before. Where he has the talon marks on the left side of his face, well it's bandaged up right now and some sort of ointment on bruises as he slowly opens his eyes, also noting soft sheets and a blanket finally.
Angela is beside the bed. She just got here and is trying to check his pulse. "Ah, good, ye're awake. Quite an ordeal y' 'ad there, son. Can y'tell me 'ow ye're feelin'?" There is a huge kettle heating over the fireplace, and the smell of scones fills the air. It looks like the Herbalist may be baking in here.
Xander groans..."Sore....Angela?" He does focus on her with the uncovered eye, his other eye should be fine, but a slash barely missed it, but its still swollen shut for now under the bandages. "Abbey....how?"
Angela goes to feel his forehead for a fever. "That monitor lizard, Krisha's father, 'e carried ya 'ere. Seems they rescued ya. Where are y'sore?" The door opens and DoraRose comes walking in, scowling, her arms crossed. There is flour all over the front of her black outfit. She walks over to the fireplace and stands there staring at the flames, fuming.
Xander would nod but he is sore and has bruises on his arms and legs and just listens "Arms...legs hurt from chains on them...and she took talons to my face..." He remembers, he isn't sure how bad it is yet though.
DoraRose is now listening to what's being said. Angela nods and heads over to the fire. "Aye, those look awful. 'Twas a good thing that y'were rescued when y'were, else those would've gotten very infected and we may 'ave lost ya." She gets the kettle and pours it into a teapot, then starts filling a metal mesh ball with leaves.
Xander frowns, he would try and get up but soreness stops him, he lays there but there is one concern, more than whether he still can see on his left side or not, more concern than the base....yes he cares about the base "Krisha...where is she?" He remembered the bird threaten to harm her and he WILL find a way to get up if he needs to.
DoraRose finally turns and looks at the badger. She still looks mad, but her voice is calm and reassuring as she tells him, "I helped to let her in the gates, so unless she left without my knowledge, she's here in the Abbey somewhere. Don't worry." Angela has dropped the leaves in their mesh ball into the teapot, and now the room is starting to smell like mint and other, harder-to-identify things. The Herbalist pulls a small cookie sheet out from a little shelf on the side of the fireplace. It has scones on it.
Xander nods "I...was worried that insane raven said...."
DoraRose walks over and sits on the side of the badger's cot. "I understand. Insane beasts will say lots of things. But Krisha's safe now, and so are you. And there's a feast this weekend, so you got back just in time." The Warrior managed a small smile.
Krisha peeks in from the doorway but doesn't come all the way into the room, not yet she doesn't.
Xander nods, he frowns as he remembers some of what the raven did as he just goes quiet. He glances at the door and as he sees Krisha he goes to sit up only to gasp in pain, ok that hurt, moving is bad right now so he lays down again, not that he was really sitting up hardly at all. He reaches a paw towards Krisha "Krisha..."
DoraRose sees the badgermaid and smiles a little bit more. Standing, she gestures that the badgermaid come over. Angela pours 4 cups of tea and adds a powder to Xander's cup. Placing them on a tray, she comes over to his bedside and sets it down on the table. "Aye, don't try to sit up, son. Ye'll be in a world o' 'urt for a while, but it should pass."
Krisha slowly makes her way over to him and looks very concerned, she then lets a tear go down her face. "Got hurt cause of me...maybe shouldn't of, sorry walked off...just..." She isn't sure what she was, it's not like she had to think of a reply she was just nervous at the question so had to walk off before she fainted or cried and then he had left and was....She goes to gently hug him "Yes" She just leaves it at that, yes to what?...
Xander sighs "Yeah..."He then listens to Krisha and as she hugs him he goes to...least try and hug her back if he wasn't so sore, and he has had a bad week and blinks at the yes, yeah yes to what that it's her fault he was hurt..."Not...not your fault...Brookshire's fault."
DoraRose clenches her jaw at the name of the TRAITOR and walks back over to the fireplace, her paws clenched into fists. Angela waits to pass out the tea.
Krisha knows he is sore, she speaks after what seems like forever "Your....question before...." She stops and goes on "You...asked me...to marry you, so I was answering that"
Xander does remember, even a bad week wouldn't let him forget that question, also a good way to make him forget his bad week as he takes her paw and smiles.
DoraRose is too lost in her thoughts to notice. Angela, however, smiles and goes to check on the scones. "Well, well, what wonderful news. Now you 2 need t'plan the weddin'. 'Opefully the group on Ferravale will be able to defeat the enemy and we won't 'ave any more trouble for the rest of our lives..."
Krisha smiles back and kisses him on the cheek "I am glad you're...home safe" She nods to Angela "Yeah...not fun to...have to worry"
Xander smiles, he is happy "Yeah plan a wedding, better than having to plan how to...to get..." He frowns, "I hope the others are ok, I am not there to help them"
DoraRose grabs a poker and starts viciously attacking a log in the fire with it. "Me, too. If Benar hadn't forced me to stay here...." it's obvious that she's FURIOUS. Angela brings over 2 cooled scones. "Try these; they're an experiment." She hands one to each of the badgers; it will taste like berries and roses and honey. She hands them each a cup of tea, too, making sure that the male badger gets the one with the special pain-killing powder in it.
Krisha takes a scone "For...what, the feast?" She does taste one and sips a little tea as she stays by Xander's side. She looks over at Dorarose frowning slightly, should she tell her sorry for slipping out or wait on that.
Xander sips a little tea and does nibble at the scone, he manages a smile "It's...different and good also"
DoraRose continues to murder the burning log. Angela shakes her head. "No, 'oney. They're a tonic I've come up with for Dibbuns who are scared o' the liquid stuff. M'glad it tastes good."
Krisha frowns, tonic? She lays the scone down as she looks at Dorarose and sighs "I...I am sorry if some of your anger...is at me..."
Xander blinks but he does eat a little more and sips some tea, hey he is hungry and it does taste good, he frowns a little as some pain goes through his arm some, he also does have a little bit of a fever, but he sipped some tea with the painkillers, or was it in the scone, either way it should help some.
The painkiller is in his tea. The scones just have things that will help the immune system. Angela goes to check on a couple of other patients. Dora looks up at the badgermaid, then sighs. "No...no, Sweetheart, it's not you. I'm just mad because that Loosefang tried to kill my husband, and Brookshire betrayed us all, and Abbot Benar has ordered me to stay in here. And so I was kneading some bread for the feast, but I over did it and I was ordered to leave the kitchens." The poor bread dough is now having to sit around in a cool place so the gluten can relax so the bread isn't all chewy.
Krisha nods "Oh...guess was worried you would be...hurt" She looks at the scone again and nibbles a little of it, she speaks again "The feast should be nice....maybe I can help somehow?"
Xander does eat his and drinks his tea, but somewhat sleepy and somewhat the fever, luckily not high, makes him slip into some much needed sleep. He will respond some if shaken awake gently, but just to show he isn't in some deep faint or anything dangerous.
Krisha notices Xander feel asleep, though worry still comes "Is..is he ok?"
DoraRose shrugs. "Most of the skilled Warriors here in the Abbey are in the Defenders, so the Abbot told me to stay because he needs somebeast here to help keep us all safe. Plus, I'm the Gatekeeper, so I needed to stay." Sighing, she stands and puts the poker away. "Aye, you can help. If you volunteer but don't ask for any specific job, you'll be given something to do." She tries to smile. Angela checks the male badger and nods. "Aye, 'e's fine, don't worry. Just asleep; 'e needs it, too."
Krisha nods as she relaxes a little, she then speaks again "I...I don't really...cook. I did...learn to cook fish but rarely ate it s...since father doesn't eat meat. A lot thinks he does...a lot fear him...then guess monitors can be...scary" She frowns at a memory "The..tribe was...scary."
DoraRose listens as the old Healer goes around checking on other patients some more. The Warrior goes to put a paw on the badgermaid's shoulder. "I'm sorry that you had to go through that, Krisha. And yes, many fear monitors, but some of use are willing to give them a chance." She chuckles. "I even have an adoptive nephew who is a monitor lizard. Many beasts will fear your father, but many will also learn to trust him, as I have." She smiles. "And you don't have to help cook; you can help decorate and make the Great Hall festive and beautiful. Or help move the cheeses and barrels up from the cellars. There are plenty of things you can do to help that don't involve cooking."
Krisha smiles at the idea of decorating, she could help with that "Ok...sounds nice. Maybe something with fall leaves, they are...pretty right now"
DoraRose grins. "Oh, that would be nice. Come on; let's go find whoever is in charge of that!" She goes to take the badgermaid's paw and lead her downstairs to find, well, whoever is in charge of decorating. She'll help when she can, too, since she's been temporarily banned from the kitchens....
Krisha looks at Xander before heading off, helping find things to decorate with will get her mind off her worry about Xander.

SCENE: Ferravale Chieftain's house, Blisa's bedroom (she doesn't use her father's room; it makes her sad).
LOG:
Blisa is in her room, asleep. It's been a long, rough past few weeks for her, and she is exhausted. Her window is closed because the nights are getting cold. There are 2 cots in here, but they're empty; Valerie and Clarissa are in the main room, talking with the other bodyguards. They were finally able to get the Chieftain to go to bed early. Basilisk, the cat's pet whiptail snake, is also in the main room, dozing.
Loosefang has a job or well his idea of one and has walked around the house a couple times and grins when he pulls out a long silver dagger and goes to wiggle it under the window, he noticed it just a hairline off and he is able to open it just enough to slip in and walks over to the chieftain and grins "I shall impress the boss...she will forgive me for messing up." He says quietly and makes his way to her bedside as he twirls the dagger in his paw, "Sleeping oh so soundly....you need sleep and Loosefang shall make sure you get lots of sleep...permit sleep." As he prepares to...well stab her, he has yet to bring it down but if he manages, it would be a fatal wound.
Blisa stirs in her sleep as the cool breeze blows across her face. Meanwhile, in the main room, Basil thinks he hears something. Slithering through the door of the room in which Scioto used to sleep, the huge reptile peers into the room the current Chieftain uses....
Loosefang is here oh right, he is about to stab her in the chest, he just moves the blanekt slowly and smirks"Bye bye..." He says softly and raises the dagger, then moves it towards her chest!
Like lightning, Basil darts forward and goes to wrap himself around the weasel with surprising grace for something so huge. He can wrap multiple coils around the weasel and still have plenty of length left over. "Hissssss, Blisssssa, wake up!" The young cat stirs and mumbles out a "Whu...?"
Loosefang eyes go large as the dagger is droped, luckly it lands beside the cat and he screams loudly as he tries to get loose and fails badly. And its a very VERY loud scream too.
Blisa jerks up, sees the would-be assasin, and screams. All the bodyguards are up and headed towards her room, weapons drawn, in a flash (although most of them tripped over stuff because they're not perfect...and they're tired, too). Ferdinand is the first one ot reach the bedroom, and he just stops, sabre in paw, and stares at the scene in front of him. "Oh, my...."
Basilisk smiles and goes to peer into his captive's face. "Ssssss, bad food, you woke up Blisssssa! Now I won't cover you in cheessssse because you're a naughty weasssssel, ssss...."
Loosefang is in the snake's coils and struggles, as if that will help, he is starting to have some trouble breathing now too... "c...c...chees------" He makes a weak whimper sound.
Blisa pulls on a dark blue robe over her white nightgown and crawls past her pet onto the floor. "Yeth, cheethe," Ferdinand manages to say. "He, uh, liketh it." Basil sniffs. "Excussssse me, I mussst attend to my dinner." He then slithers out and goes to drag his prey down into the basement (he has a kiln down there to keep him warm because the guards sometimes do pottery), where he shall kill the weasel...AND THEN EAT HIM!
Loosefang gives them a help me look before he is dragged away and screams again, nothing like being dinner for a snake, never in his thoughts did he think that would happen....snake 1...Loosefang...0.
Blisa watches as her pet takes his dinner away. "...I don't think I can get back to sleep." Ferdinand and the other guards sheath their weapons, and the ferret goes to pick the Chieftain up and carry her into the main room. They all settle down and let the reptile have a, uh, nice dinner. And this is why nobody breaks in here anymore...

IDEA!!!
I had the idea that maybe the Defenders go to WillowBark Abbey to get its bell for Ferravale...but then they have to decide whether or not to take it back when they discover the survivors at the Abbey.
Just a thought...
I'll think about Angela maybe tagging along ![]()
That sounds like fun! It'll be nice to have a plot thing that doesn't involve fights ![]()
Just FYI, I won't be here on the 19th or 21st.
Thanks for doing fun plots! ![]()
Marek's not at all paranoid ![]()
Also: "Why does Karth do anything?" That made me laugh xD
I love pears....your rabbit sounds funny xD
I may be able to spoof some survivors ![]()
The thing I was hoping to be able to do isn't happening this time (maybe in January or April), so I'm planning on being here most Thursdays.
OH MY GOODNESS THAT'S A SATURDAY I THINK I CAN MAKE IT HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!
*is not at all thrilled about this* ![]()
BECAUSE THEY'RE AMAZING AND DELICIOUS AND I'LL EAT YOUR SERVINGS. ![]()
I have pictures I've drawn; I'll post them as soon as I can! But it'd be cool to see how everyone else imagines their chars ![]()
And you can look here: http://rwmuck.limitless.org/rwmuck/forum/4 for pictures and fanfics that people have posted ![]()
Blisa was thrilled at this news! ![]()
She fully supports tanning Mile's hide (but is sorry that it can't be a rug right now), and she asked about ballistas. And whatever else Bandit needed to talk about. She is not thrilled.....especially since it's getting too cold for reptiles to be out and about, so she can't ride Basilisk into war ![]()
Cool log xD
