Joining the Patrol!
There are some steps that you should go through when deciding to join the Patrol.
- First, you should page Jinora or Riley. Express your wish to join!
- Consider - what position would you like for your character to hold within the group? A green recruit? A seasoned sergeant? A runner, a fighter, or a healer? Perhaps a valiant cook to feed the army of hungry hares? Delve further into the group pages to learn more about them.

A brief character history (4-6 sentences), including such items as where they were born, family history, and major life events that may have shaped the character into who and what they are.
An brief synopsis of your character's personality, including ticks, pet peeves, hobbies, and so on. Whatever you think is relevant.
These two separate sections are both separate and required. Together you should have at least 8-12 sentences (more is preferred).

Hopefully, you've read the rules and policies page on the website - are there any issues that may keep you from meeting the requirements? If so, explain. With special circumstances, special allowances may be made.
Roleplay
Below, you will see one standard role play scenario and one battle scenario, to which you will respond with one pose each.
Scenario: You are already a Long Patrol member. Your character has been assigned some sort of task, or chore (ex: sweeping, polishing weaponry, sewing uniforms, etc.) and now they must complete said task. The setting can be a nondescript hallway, if you like. Pose as your character would behave in such a situation. Include speech, if possible.
Battle Scenario: You are on the shores of Salamandastron, walking amongst the dunes. All of a sudden, a searat pops out from behind one and charges at you, his blade slicing down at your shoulder. Pose as your character would behave in such a situation. Speech is not necessary, but if you wish to include it, feel free.

What is a twink?
Once you are approved and you are accepted into the Patrol, you will want to do a few things:
- Join the skills group (+skills apply L-Patrol).
- Join +groups (+help +groups) and list your rank.
- Inquire about the rules and policies of the Long Patrol, or simply check them out on our page!
