Other characters do not know who you are unless you tell them. Since this MUCK is text-based, the way you describe things is the only view others have, both of items and of yourself.

Descriptions of yourself should be as detailed as possible to enhance RP. If someone's description reads: "A tall fox", then that doesn't help other RPers very much when it comes to interacting with that person. If a character's description goes into details like eye color, fur color, clothing, jewelry, scars, tattoos... you understand something more about that character before even RPing with them.

It is possible to discern someone's social standing, wealth, and even profession just by looking at them.

Think of interesting physical items to make your character different. Tattoos, scars, moles, discolored fur, etc. Make it as detailed as you can.

Things that should not be a part of character descriptions are thoughts, feelings, actions, history, etc. This is a physical description only. In real life, someone looking at you wouldn't know that your parents were killed. Therefore, don't put something like that in your description.

For good examples, try looking at some older players' descriptions. Most have updated their descriptions to the best of their ability. Good place to steal ideas from.
