Aikuen is outside. Whoa. Yes. He is outside. He is sitting on top of the mound that is the entrance. After what happened yesterday, he told Fira that he would try to go outside and 'enjoy' himself. And it's. Not too bad, at least. Plus Fira wanted to get the twins also used to it. So, Ella is bundled up like a puff of cushy cloth. All that can really be seen, is her face and her rudder. The only thing not covered.

The ball slowly walks around Aik. "Snow snow snow... Snowy snow! " she sings.

Aik frowns deeply and sighs, cant help but chuckling at her.

William comes up the worn path from the kiln and waves at the otters. Puffs of steam punctuate his words as he calls out to them, "Hello. Come to play in the snow?" He squints at the moving bundle not sure which otterbabe it is. "Want t help me make a snow beast?" he asks it squatting down to see if he can figure out which twin she is based off her eye color as that's one of the easiest ways to tell them apart.

Aikuen watches will and he nods, "Hey... And you can say that, i guess..." he grumbles. Ella looks at Will, and she smiles, bouncing slightly "Will-Will!" she chuckles, "The snow... coldy..." she erms and tilts her head, "Snow beasties?" Aik smiles a bit, "Go ahead." Ain't gonna make him to much though.

William nods and starts to pile up some snow about half as high as his sister. "Pretend beasts made of snow. Like this. I'll show you." he takes her paws to help her shape the snow. "What beast do you want to make?" he asks.

Ella ooos at the snow, "Pretends? I likes pretends..." she hrms a bit as her cloth paw touches the snow, but once she realizes its not cold to paw, she giggles, "How abouts... Kenters! Or mommies..." Aik snorts, "Of course not me..." Ella looks back and bounces, "You is alreadies heres!" she points out. Aik laughs.

William grins, "You want to make a snow stoat or a snow otter first?"

Ella licks her lips, thinking, "Ummmm.... Stoaties..." She finally decides. She reaches down picks up a tiny pawful of snow and places it on the pile. Which precedes to fall off immediately.

William smiles and helps Ella scoop up more snow to add to the snow stoat and make it look more like a stoat and less like a random pile of snow.

Aikuen laughs quietly at them, going to sneak away from the mound. But he doesn't go far. Ella, with the help of Will, manages to stick some snow. She giggles and bounces, "Yay!" and she slips and falls on her butt, "Owie!..." she erms. She is okay. Aik head pops up over the snow, "What happened?" "My bumy!" Aik hides a snort.

William says, "You're ok. Just be careful the snow can be slippery. Ready to make a snow otter or does our snow stoat need more work first?"

Aikuen smiles and lets Will handle it. Going back to... whatever it is he is doing out of sight.

Ella gets up slowly and rubs her backside, "It still hurtes..." she erms and looks over the snow pile. She bounces a bit more, and picks up a small pawful of snow. Placing right on top of the 'stoats' head, "Dere..." Now its got messy hair. Like Kentar in the morning. Ella smiles, "Is Okies now!"

William chuckles and starts to make another pile of snow. "Now for the snow otter. This one might be hard. Think you can do it Ella?" he teases scruffing her head through the cloth.

Ella waddles over to the next pile, starting to... Pile the snow, as much as she can. She hmmms at the head scruff, "I cans does it..." she nods and starts to make certain adjustments to the pile. None of them look like an otter, nor do they stick very well.

Aikuen is still unseen, but can be heard huming just off to the north.

"You sure can," Will says helping to mold some snow behind it out to look like a rudder and give the pile a more ottery shape overall.

Ella nods and starts to build a funky looking head. Its all lopsided, "It's not..." she makes the motion of a circle with her paws. She wants some help with doing that, "Helpy... the thingy..." she points at it.

"Well otter heads aren't that round anyway. Yours might be but that's cause you're very little still. When you're bigger you'll look more like mum and her face isn't flat so our snow otter's shouldn't be either." Will explains as he helps her reshape the head for the snow otter.

Aikuen says from a distance, "Oh yeah? I heard that!" he chuckles.

Ella ohs and tilts her head as Will works on the head, "It's goings to looks likes that?" she points at it, and tilts her head the other way. Not sure of what to think of that.

William shrugs, "It'll look however you want it too look. If you don't want it like this we can change it to whatever you do like instead."

Ella shakes her head, "No'es... My heads..." And she pokes at the snowbeasts head, "Is goings to looks like thats? When I is olders?" she hrms.

William says, "Well probably not just like this. It'll look like Mum's an Pa's. You are an otter. You'll look like an otter just a bigger one."

Ella ohs and nods, "Oh'kays... Good" . The little otter waddles around the beast and looks it over, "Otterers!" she points at the rudder, and giggles. She continues to waddle around poking it at odd places. She makes a full circle, "Goods!" she hrms, and the cloth poof decides to fall over, and sit on the ground.

"Yep. It's an otter. It's got an otter tail like this one," he says wiggling her rudder. "Hmm I think this one might look better on the snow otter. You want t trade with him and have a snow rudder?" he jokes tickling the bundle of cloth and otter.

Ella giggles loudly, wiggling her rudder away from him, "No'es! Its my rudderer! The snow otters donts needs it. He not gonna swims!" Then he starts to tickle her. She rolls around in his paws, "Aaaaaa! Stops it! I is ticklish!"

William says, "That makes two of us. You sure you want to keep it. What about your paws. Surly you don't need both of them? Do you? You do? Well that's just selfish." He grins lifting her up and flipping her around so she's hanging upside down and nose to nose with him. "Are you done? Want t go in now? See if Mum an Garnet have something warm for us in th kitchens?"

Ella giggles, "I is needs thems both!" she pokes Will, wherever she can, "So i can does that!" She giggles and then whoa's as she is flipped, "Aaaaah!" she moves her paw about trying to hold on to something, "I is dones..." she nods a few times, "Is colds..."

William says, "You can try but for now I'm bigger than you. And while that wont last long I will use it against you when necessary." He returns the little otter to her usual upright position and sets her on her footpaws if she'll let him. "Ok now let's go in and warm up. Pa can stay out here if he's not done enjoying the snow." The rat adds nudging Ella toward the door.

Ella is a bit dizzy when she is put back on the ground. She whoa's and falls over to the snow, "Ooo..." after a bit she is set upright, "Aye! Warms..." she looks over where Aik was sitting. And she blinks heavily, "Daddies?"

"I'm Over here!" Aik's voice can be heard from the woods.

Ella blinks again and looks over toward the woods, "Daddies?"

"Right here. But stick with Will darling... I'm okay..." he chuckles. Unbeknownst to the others. Aik has built a fire, and he warms by it. Now he can really enjoy the snow!

Ella flicks her rudder from side to side, still watching the woods. Not sure if she wants to follow Will, or stick with pops.

William grabs Ella's paw firmly and starts to lead her inside, "Come on you pikefish. We'll get some soup or whatever's in th kitchens. Pa'll be fine. If you want we can get something t bring out from him." He pulls on the little otter ready to drag her inside if she wont go willingly.

Ella's paws it grabbed and she frowns slightly, "Daddies..." she hrms before being lead off into the tunnel. Still frowning, "Aye. Gets dads sometings..." she nods a few times, and then she feels better about it.

William and Ella go inside and are gone a long time. Maybe they forgot about the old otter they left in the snow?

Aikuen stays outside. And with the fire. He actually kinda enjoys it. Outside, and warm. After building a small bonfire. He goes about collecting small sticks and other wood materials. Carving javelins, and then burning them. He hums a song to himself as he does this. After a while the sun begins to turn darker. As it goes into the horizon. Aik sighs, "There... All day. Outside. It wasn't... too bad..." he leaves the fire to die out, as he goes back inside. He almost freezes from the fire to the entrance.

William and Ella hadn't really forgotten Aik but when the rat had gone to look for him he'd seen the fire from the distance and decided the otter was more then able to come back in on his own when he wanted to. It turned out he was right but he'd been suprised when the otter finally did show as he didn't think he'd stay out that long.

Ella was overjoyed to see her father again and wouldn't leave his side for anything the rest of the night.
