RW Abbey: Kitchen Yard

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Boasting a decent view of the Abbey's orchards and gardens, this

space is mostly a work area, displaying well trampled grass and the

occasonal bare spot.  An especaily worn spot is the path that leads

between the kitchen gardens and the vineyards.

From one end of the kitchen yard to the other, the space is nearly

filled by the tremendous gnarled trunk of an ancient apple tree,

roots and branches and boughs trimmed off and piled alongside for

later use.  A deep groove of mud-churned sod and torn grass leads

back to the orchard, from where the fallen tree must have come.

There are also a variety of workshops around the edge of the yard,

the wood-shop, the cooper for making barrels. The small smithy

where the abbey's tools are made, the potters kiln and the brewery.

Hudson stands looking at the yard where different stuff is, like the forge being one ..

Stormbreeze walks up to him and smirks "I have heard you have not been in a good mood dear, woodlanders bugging you?"

 Hudson shrugs "I dislike the one otter guard, he is annoying. It also seems unfair I can’t hurt anyone, well know what, Marek doesn’t have to know all of what’s going on and who would tell on me, most of the horde fears me as well and some would follow me instead."

Stormbreeze smirks "Of course they would dear, then some of the woodlanders fear you as well."

 Hudson grins "I know how to get some beasts to listen, and to break them, when it comes to certain things these fool beast do whatever you ask, place a life in danger or better yet end one"

 Stormbreeze listens as he speaks, "Well, thing is we can’t end any lives sadly"

 Hudson speaks, his voice uncaring "So what, besides wouldn’t have to be me or you did it, how would anyone find out."

 Stormbreeze says, "what do you have going through that head of yours Hudson, doesn’t sound nice whatever it is""

 Hudson chuckles "Well we need work done here and I know how to make it happen, maybe with an added bonus included if I am lucky, mix in some lies."

 Stormbreeze shrugs "If you say so, but your gonna just end up causing more trouble, sometimes making some beast angry is a bad thing "

 Hudson smirks "And sometimes it’s a fun thing, show them who is boss around here"

 Stormbreeze says, "I am sure most know the answer to that "

 Zork comes into the area of the forge, seeing the two wildcats he growls, "And what are you doing here , get away from me forge"

 Hudson grins as he turns to see the badger, "Your forge, how nice, how about you do some repairs of weapons and armor, like our weapons and armor like a good beast."

 Stormbreeze steps back a little bit as she simple watches, she is not getting to close to either of them for the moment.

 Zork narrows his eyes at both wildcats and growls again, "No, tis the one thing I won’t do and especially horde armor or weapons, ya out of luck."

 Hudson gets in his face, "Oh? You forget Marek is in charge and I happen to be his main beast to make sure all follow any orders given"

 Stormbreeze folds her arms behind her and simple watches, she is curious as to what will happen next.

 Zork goes to shove the wildcat away from him and narrows his eyes, “Stay out of my face scum, you and your great and mighty boss won’t have de abbey very long, trust me"

 Hudson about loses his balance and hisses drawing his blade and smirking “What to play then, we can play.."

 Lorimis was in the gardens when he sees what is about to happen and walks over," There will be no more fighting " He looks at Hudson "You can put the blade away, it’s bad enough you and your fellow horde beast carry them around in my abbey"

 Stormbreeze raises an eyebrow as the abbot show up and snickers some, "Yeah Hudson should ask nicely that the badger repair our weapons and armor, huh Hudson?"

 Zork says, "And I said clearly No"

 Hudson does put the blade away and looks at the abbot, "Your brave for an old mouse, but sadly Marek is in charge, Marek is your lord and master now what he says goes." He looks at the badger and grins slowly, he seems up to something, "No?..You sure?"

Lorimis sighs, he folds his arms in his sleeve," Marek shall not have this abbey for long, Martin will bring us aid soon."

 Zork narrows his eyes at Hudson, "Move and go elsewhere cat, I will repair the gates and that’s it, see the abbey needs its gates for when we kick you and the rest of the horde out and I will make sure they are stronger this time and withstand a lot more."

 Stormbreeze has stayed mainly quiet as she watches Hudson now.

 Hudson smirks, "I am sure your change your mind fairly quickly." He then moves quickly and goes to grab the abbot, no weapon is drawn as he seems to have a better idea in mind, choke him, he grins at the badger “Now your do as I say or...well someone dies today."

 Lorimis is a bit surprised as the wildcat grabs him by the throat and coughs, there isn’t too much he can do or right now say.

 Zork eyes go wide as he growls and starts to lunge at the wildcat and then thinks better of it and looks down at the ground "Fine, I will do whatever ya say." He allows himself to relax, yet there is still some tension there.

 Stormbreeze frowns, ok Hudson has lost it as she backs up from this, she is not getting blamed for something bad happening and leaves rather quickly.

 Stormbreeze departs for the kitchen garden.

 Hudson smirks, he does release Lorimis but not till he makes sure he holds him long enough to pass out and drops him to the ground, a bit gently oddly enough but still, he smiles coldly at the badger, "Good move..stripedog."

 Lorimis has passed out, he is alive but may have a sore neck for a couple days.

Zork rushes forward, "Lorimis!" He checks him and glares at the wildcat as he places Lorimis glasses in a pocket and picks up the abbot very gently as if he was china . The badger glares at Hudson again, "You know I remember another thing, Marek mentioned none of the leaders or elders were to be harmed, maybe I will have a little chat with Marek over this, oh and one more thing..be careful where you fall asleep." The last part id said in pure cold hate as he heads away from the cat, yes he will work in the forge on those weapons and armor but not till he calms down.

RW Abbey: Infirmary

Several beds are lined against the red sandstone walls of the Abbey's Infirmary. An examination table, separated from the rest of the room by hanging blankets, rests against the far wall.  Tucked into a small alcove is a sizeable workbench with various containers for mixing and preparing medicinal compounds.  Against another wall is a desk for use by the Infirmary Keeper.  A curtained off alcove behind the desk hides a locked door to the Infirmary's supplies and linens.

Zork places Lorimis gently on one of the cots and sits beside him, yes Zork-Bodyguard:)

 Lorimis coughs a couple times and opens his eyes.

 Zork gets up long enough to get him some water and holds it so he can drink it, "Lorimis...ya ok?" Deep worry and concern is in his voice.

 Lorimis takes a few sips, " I am fine Zork, just need to rest now." His neck is sore but otherwise he seems fine after what happen.

 Zork nods as he frowns "Marek is making me..repair his weapons and armor, he was..Hudson was gonna kill you if I didn’t agree"

 Lorimis listens to all that is said, "Take heart Zork, we will all get through this together, Martin will guild us and Marek and his forces will be defeated. Now I am going to get some rest my friend" With that he closes his eyes to get some needed sleep.

 Zork nods and stays guard over Lorimis, if someone so much as looks this way the badger will glare at them, it doesn’t take long for most to leave him be and all but the abbey healers are allowed near Lorimis, Zork is not leaving Lorimis side till he wakes up and then will escort the abbot personally to his room.
