***** This started out at the cliffs by the path to the village and then they walked to the shore line and at the end back to the badger mountain *****

Leon is out and about today and just as a safety thing a hare has come along with him. It is a slightly windy day and it looks like there may be some storm clouds off on the far sea line, maybe by night fall it will get there. For now its early afternoon.

Xander skips along as he has his pet hermit crab on his shoulder, he goes to look at the ocean, maybe even a better look at a cliff side overlooking some of the water, “Neat o view from here..gotta look"

 Kenwei is below the cliffs as some rather strong waves bump her around. She tries to better get to the small area of beach but her flipper is hurt from getting too close to a passing ship, one that decided it wasn't wise to get too close to the shoreline and passed out to who knows where. But she is still hurt and the waves do not help as she is slammed into some jagged rocks and hurts her flipper more, as well as scrapes her side and frowns. She barely gets to the line of beach and looks back out to the sea and then around area.

 Thunderwing has been hunting fish, he has noticed other creatures below his flight but pays them hardly any attention right now. The wind also is not bothering him as he is a strong flyer after all.

 Leon frown "Careful Xander, I would not get too close if you got her your mother would be very upset with me." The hare nods to that and keeps alert for any trouble...gee he is not very talkative it seems.

 " I is careful" The badger states and blinks as he catches movement below and peeks over the edge, he tilts his head when he sees the seal "Wot that?" he asks and points to the seal, upon seeing it hit the rocks and possible injuries he frowns "It needs help." He decides he can help or try to and studies the cliff noticing small bits of stone pointing out and ledges, holes in the cliff side and proceeds to climb down. His claws getting into small little holes , he almost slips once but regains his footing and the last few feet, maybe 3-4 feet, he rolls and shakes sand from his fur and gets a closer look at the off creature.

 Kenwei meanwhile gets some kelp and tries to place it on one of the scrapes and gasps when the badger is beside her and backs up a little.

 Leon sighs "Just..." His mouth drops open when he starts to head to the shore below and he rushes over and tenses up a couple times, he is GLAD no one else is here to see this, they may or may not freak worse than he has. The hare looks unsure what to do when Leon quickly looks around and happens to spot the bird and his eyes widen, he can only hope it’s who he thinks it is as he gets out a small whistle and blows on it, the hare frowns "Sounds broke lad,wot"...Leon shakes his head "No it isn’t trust me"

 Thunderwing looks around s as he can hear the whistle sound and circles around to land carefully by the mouse and hare, "vhy call Thunderwing, vhat vant of him?"

 Xander smiles at the seal "I am friend and I will help you or maybe help come soon, please no run away, you is hurt"

 Kenwei listens and it's unclear if she understands or not, but smiles can go a long way and they do help to calm one as she edges a little closer again, remains silent as she looks to her torn flipper and scarped up side.

 Leon frowns and looks down where Xander and the seal is and gulps and then back to the eagle as he takes a calming breath, just trust and relax,"I..I need down there..please" He will hold on to the foot above the talons, wrap his arms as well as legs and tail around the one leg to hold on tight.

 Thunderwing puffs out slightly and then nods as he waits to make sure the mouse is on ok, or not. Normally he would shake a mouse off, but today he helps and he does know the mouse from another time. He circles and finds a good place to land by the seal and eagle.

 Xander nods, he gets a little worried when he sees the eagle, but then smiles when he sees Leon"Leon...Leon..it be hurt, see" He points to seal

Kenwei has a dislike for birds, but if this one keeps his distance then no real need to panic, she is already nervous of all these strangers as it is.

 Leon first has his eyes shut and then he opens them to take a peek, well the view is not too bad, he still hates heights though but has told very few that. Once on the ground he is a lot happier and walks over to the seal. He has his surcoat of herbs on and even some in his pouch he had promised to get for infirm at the mountain, yep the walking infirm is here.

 Xander sits close to the seal, "Leon is healer, he is a nice mouse and will helps"

 Thunderwing looks up and down the line of sand "Not stay long, tide come..so elsewhere should go ya?"

 Kenwei stays still, she has a torn flipper with cuts and bruises and some scrapes along her side. Her skin is thick under that thin layer of fur and she has sea water on her. but seems to be ok with that as she is a seal. She will let the mouse tend to her, she will let the badger stay close, but the bird she is leary of and keeps an eye on it.

 Leon nods to eagle and examines the seal quietly and gets out any needed herbs. Frist he cleans the wounds and gets off any sand and then the herbs are applied in a paste like glop as he hmmms" My guess is she has to stay lest somewhat..wet, I think. Some sort of creature of the sea maybe.."

 Thunderwing nods "Is seal...live in big vaters they do ya"

 Xander just listens and watches as the seal is tended to, he watches the tide go in and out some and back and forth on the line of sand, looks up to the cliff and frowns "How we get back?"

 Kenwei makes a small grunting noise as one cut hurts fairly bad and her flipper was badly hurt, but she lets the healer help her.

 Leon hmms "I am unsure, walk along the beach maybe? We can't really go back the same way we came I am not a good climber. We can get her to a better location and then from there not sure" So much for be back soon

 Thunderwing bops his head "Along beach ya, soon ya as tide come soon, not good area here is not, mousey and badger go that a way" He points and looks at the seal "Seal move slow like and go."

 Xander listens to Thunderwing, he has an idea what tide is as his birth parents always mentioned it.

 Kenwei keeps a close eye on the large bird, she dislikes birds it seems, yeah she will move slowly towards a better area of beach not so thin, that’s for sure but not so close to the large bird.

 Leon nods"Yeah" He checks the seal again" Umm...can you move ok?" He not sure she understands as he goes to slowly head down shore, but staying close to her as he speaks to Thunderwing"Thunderwing, maybe you can go. We should be fine..ok?"

 Thunderwing nods "Ya I go..go off maybe tell others you is okay like" He flaps and is off into the air and heading...well he is heading somewhere hopefully off to tell someone Leon and them is ok.

 Xander watches the eagle fly off "Think he really let someone know we ok?" He will help the seal if needed, he frowns at the cliffs, yeah maybe was bad thinking to climb down that, even if someone found a way down to him...still...bad idea all together.

 Kenwei follows close, she rather not stay to close to cliffs either and she likes more open areas of the sea and beach area. She can move at a fair pace on land, maybe a little better than at sea right now due to the injured flipper.

 Leon sighs as they walk along the thin bit of beach, the pace could be faster but he is fine with the pace right now as possible tide issues don't worry him as he can swim if needed. “Come on not too far now"

 Xander watches the water come in and go out and even collects a couple shells. He checks on his friend Mr. Dot on his shoulder or better known as a hermit crab he found some weeks ago.

 Kenwei waters the water closely and the beasts she has yet to call friends, they helped her but they are still strangers yet.

 Leon walks along "Ok we have to just get over a small bit of rocks and then on to the main beach, should be fine." Yep fine, like up a small little path and down how hard is that as he makes it the few feet up and starts to get down when one of the waves hit the little rock bridge and knocks him off and into the deeper water, yep the one with the stronger currents.

 Xander does a cartwheel, bridges are fun, well fun till he sees Leon get knocked off and then frowns. He gets to where the large sand beach is, "Uh ohhhh"

 Kenwei is not going on a rock bridge she can take the water route, she dives under and gets the mouse or she hopes she does and goes to resurface close to the beach and way from those annoying rocks.

 Leon at first doesn't panic, he is use to water but not water with strong currents like this and he does panic a little when he has a hard time getting above the water, he feels the seal and grabs a hold of her around the neck a little as they get to the shoreline and he looks around, now a soaking wet mouse, he coughs a little and frowns, “Well let’s not do...that again" He nods to the seal "thanks"

 Xander frowns as he watches and walks over "You okies Leon?"

 Kenwei nods to them and speaks, "You..umm what word...welcome?"

Leon nods "I am fine" Dripping wet but fine as he looks at the seal "So...you can speak common"

 Kenwei nods" Is....yeah?" It’s very clearly broken common. She frowns at her flipper some of the bandage slipped down.

 DoraRose has decided to go on a walk. Partly because she's been trying to find Leon and has discovered that she can't find him in Salamandastron. But that may just be because she got lost. Twice. Carrying her axe easily, she comes down the shore. She can't see the others yet.

Xander looks between them as they speak.

 Kenwei nods and frowns as she does happen to see the mouse and backs off a little into the water.

 Leon nods and frowns, well least this surcoat and  pouch is waterproof, he looks around and shivers some"Ok we can't stay here too long without a fire, and not sure should have..umm...our friend here go anywhere, unlike us she might need to be wet somewhat"

 DoraRose spots the seal and stops. She has never actually seen a seal before, so she doesn't actually know how to address one. She raises her empty paw and calls, "Hello, there! I come in peace." That's a good greeting, right?

 Xander smiles "Its DORA!!!!!!" He seems happy to see a familiar face, “We helping the seal and I climbed down cliff and the eagle gots Leon down...then we walk here on thin sand area and there was rock bridge and he falls but she help..that’s all"He adds a smile.

 Kenwei tilts her head, and just watches them as she lies out on the sand. She is tried still and sore.

 Leon still drips water, "Not from the cliff..." He rebandages the flipper and checks on the other scrapes" Should try and...well somehow keep the bandage on. And keep sand from the wounds that will make healing take longer"

 Kenwei nods as she drifts off to sleep, she is use to sleeping on the beach.

DoraRose raises her eyebrows but smiles as the little badger pummels her with some information as she walks over to them.  "Well.....that sounds like an adventure, huh?"  She goes to rest a loving, motherly paw on the badger's head and turns to her husband.  "You okay?  I got your note, but I was concerned that you might've gotten hurt."

Leon shakes his head "I am fine, just....well Xander saw the wounded seal from that cliff area by the village path and..he sort of climbed down but don't tell Zinnia she probably freak out about it...and the only way back here was along this small sand walkway and a little bridge of rocks that I would not say go on, when the tide is coming in no way at all. I got down with the help of...Thunderwing, had hoped he went to tell you I was ok, guess he didn’t"

Xander frowns "I likes climbing, I good at it"

DoraRose bites her lip.  "He must not've seen me.  I can understand liking to climb, honey," she adds, bending down so she can look into his eyes.  "But it's good to be careful and ask the adult who's with you if the way you want to climb is safe, okay?  We don't want you to get hurt."  She's pretty sure that Leon doesn't want the little badger to get hurt.  "We should probably get out of here, then....I don't know when the tides are supposed to change."

Leon nods and looks to the seal "I..could come down with a couple hares tomorrow and check on her, I didn't get a name sadly but she is most likely better off near the water."

Xander frowns, "But I not fall, no where climb elsewhere.”

DoraRose sighs.  "I know you didn't this time, Xander, sweetie, but it might happen next time you try to climb something.  Sorry."  She stands back up and looks at the seal.  "Yeah....she probably needs to be by the water all the time.  Do you.....happen to know, uh....I've never seen one before," is her pathetic attempt to kindly ask what in the world Kenwei is.

You say, "Thunderwing called her a seal and it’s the first I have seen one as well. I don't know if she is full grown but she is not like a dibbun either..teenage maybe. And yeah good to get back before its dark, not sure how this area is at night"

Xander nods "Okay..I ..I will be careful next time.'" He looks at the seal "She doesn't hardly have fur does she?"

DoraRose 'ohs' and nods.  "So she's a seal.  Okay.  She's a lot prettier than I thought seals were."  she goes to take the badger's paw.  "Thank you.  And no, she doesn't have very much fur, but that's okay.  I'm sure she was born with just what she needs to survive out here."  She goes to lead the way back to the mountain.

Leon nods "Yes and lets head back, sides may be dinner time soon"

Xander smiles and stays beside Dorarose "Not worry..badger lord will make hares sit in corner if not save DoraRose does her best to not laugh at the little badger's statement.  "Y'think so?  I hope so, 'cause I'm hungry!"  Who knows?  Perhaps, indeed, Ciocan might get upset at the hares for not saving the Abbey Ambassadors any food....

Leon smiles at that idea, that would be funny, he walks along  with them as they head back to the mountain.

Xander smiles "Yeah he make them save some cause...yeah and they not he say sit in corner and they would have to " He smiles and even skips ahead when they get closer.

DoraRose keeps the badger in sight as she laughs.  "Oh, Leon, don't you just love this age?"  Once they get to the Mountain, she'll put her sword away and rejoin their little group.

Leon smiles "Yeah, still remember when Caleb and Lilymoore were younger, I wonder how they been doing" He shrugs and heads inside, and then the friends will go to dinner where, yep some food was saved for them and that’s good as he would hate to see any hares in corners.
