In the cell...hopefully they'll get out soon...

Oz is awake and glanceing around the cell, not really much to do in here.

Blisa is sitting in a corner, dozing.  She had been daydreaming, but sleep demanded that she close her eyes, and so, from a lack of something better to do, she gave in to the demand.

Oz looks over at Blisa as she sleeps, he also checks on the others in the room and sighs a little, its been quiet today it seems.

Blisa starts to twitch as a dream enters her head...and it seems to be nightmare.  She whimpers and swings her good right arm in front of her a little, and her hackles begin to rise.

Oz hears the whimpering and speaks softly "Blisa..Blisa its ok, you're just having a bad dream."

Blisa begins to shake, then awakens with a sharp cry.  Looking fearfully around, she doesn't quite know where she is...then she remembers, and that makes her cry.  She stands up and makes her over to Oz as the tears fall down her cheeks and sobs rack her body.

Oz frowns, he still dislikes not being able to hug anyone, he tries to smile, at least a small one to help Blisa feel better.

Blisa crawls into the badgers' lap and weeps, wrapping her arm around his neck.  Whatever the dream was, it has really shaken her up.

Oz smiles a little, "Its ok, we will be out of here soon, don't worry."

Blisa's sobs quiet down a little after a while.  Looking up into Oz's face with tear-stained eyes, she manages to choke out, "Wh...when will Daddy get here?  LilyMoore said he...he'd get here s...soon.  Where is he?"

Oz frowns "I do not know, maybe he is on his way now."

Blisa buries her face in the badger father's shoulder, crying some more, although it is silent now.  Her grip on Oz's neck is strong, but it does convey how sad she really is, almost better than her tears.  Could she finally be losing hope?

Oz starts to hum softly, something he hasn't done in a while, a soft sort of huming to calm Blisa.

The humming does indeed calm Blisa, who's sobbing slows, then stops.  She just sits there for a while, listening...listening...turning her face up to Oz's again, she asks, "Was Martin ever in prison like us?"

Oz stops huming and nods "He was a slave, we are more just...locked up, they made him do work till he escaped one day with some help."

Blisa gazes into Oz's eyes with her own pleading pair.  "Would you please tell me that story?"

Oz nods "He was under the care of his grandma at the time and he had his fathers sword, now its not the same one he left at the abbey, that was made later, but some slavers took him and he became a slave and was one a few seasons."

Blisa settles down, listening to the story Oz is telling, sitting on his lap.  She looks like she has been crying.

Kiara is in the corner of the cell, sort of hugging her knees and not looking at anyone.

Oz goes on, "Well a mouse, later he found out to be Laterose, managed to save him from some sea gulls, she ended up getting him and a brother of hers out of the slave place, but they planed to return later and rescue others on the slave place as well."

Blisa looks across the room, not noticing that Kiara is awake.  "Did they?"

Kiara doesn't look at them, she just looks down at the floor, still hugging her knees.

Oz glaces at Kiara and sighs, he goes on "Yes, they did return and with help. With the added help they managed to fight off the evil Badrang , but saddly during the fight Laterose was killed, and Martin never did forget her, he ended up going south where he later helped free some in Mossflower and that's about the time he got his sword too, the one the champion has."

Blisa gazes up into Oz's face, asking, "And Flicky's the Champion now, right?"

Oz nods "That is correct."

Kiara frowns as she lays down now, yeah she is not doing so great right now.

Blisa gives a small smile, happy to be right.  Moving around a little, she suddenly notices that Kiara is awake.  Decideing that kindness costs nothing, she slips off of the badger's lap and heads over to the hare.  Smiling a little more, she says, rather perkily, "Hi!"

Oz watches from where he is, not like he can move right now.

Kiara looks at the kitten and frowns, she has been crying and she has some cuts on her face and some bruiseing, she doesn't smile and doesn't say anything back.

Blisa frowns a little and kneels down beside the hare, stroking her gently on the head, trying to be comforting.  "Why were you crying?"

Kiara does answer, "I..don't wanna stay here..don't know anything else..."

Blisa frowns and sits, still stroking the hare's head.  "Have you said so?"

Kiara nods slowly and sniffs a little.

Blisa frowns a little more.  "Maybe you could make up information?"  she's trying to be helpful, but it's probably not going to work...

Kiara whimpers and sighs "A..already said knew n...nothing else, then he left."

Blisa continues to stroke Kiara's head, thinking silently.  This goes on for a few minutes, then the kitten's eyes narrow, and a mischevious, almost wicked grin of delight creeps over her face as she comes up with a (hopefully) brilliant plan.

Kiara sighs sofly, not moving too much.

Blisa sits back, the smile of naughty joy brightening up her face considerably.  She stays by Kiara, keeping her company.

Kiara just stays frowning.

Oz has been quiet, mainly cause the story was done, he watches Kiara and Blisa quietly.

Blisa is sitting over by Kiara, a mischevious, almost wicked glaem in her smiling eyes.

Kiara manages to take a quick peek at the kitten, but is still hugging her knees to her chest.

"Alright, you maggots!  It's time for lunch, or breakfast, or whatever, I don't care as long as you don't shrivel up and die on me before I've gotten some use out of you."  The door is kicked open and Vladmir stomps in.

Kiara gasps and quickly goes to a corner and whimpers, like trying to press agaist a wall helps that much.

Oz looks at the door as Vladmir makes his entry.

Blisa hops up and glares defiantly at the fox.  "My name's not Maggot, it's Blisa.  And who cares about your stupid opinion?  I should shrivel up and die just to /spite/ you!"  OK, um...why is she taunting the big, evil fox that is holding her prisoner?

Kiara frowns and whimpers at this.

Vladmir laughs coldly.  "Fine.  There wasn't any food anyways.  In fact, I have some news that you may find...distressing."  Leaning closer to the kitten, the dark scar across his face distorts as he glares ominously at Blisa, hissing, "And be careful what you wish for, lest this fox take it upon himself to remove your innards and feed them to you as you bleed to death."  Straightening, he says, "Listen up, all of you scum of the woodlands! Your usefulness to me is rapidly dwindling.  I cannot tolerate this."

Oz growls a little, he listens to what Vladmir has to say.

Kiara frowns "L..Leave..just..just Leave and go away" she is stuttering right now.

Vladmir's slowly twinkling gaze scans each of the prisoners in turn.  "And why would I do that?"

Blisa hisses and spits in the foxes face, proving that, yes, indeed, she is a cat.  Laying her ears back and narrowing her eyes, she listens and watches Vladmir, wondering what he's getting at.

Kiara gulps, "Be...cause..." she is afriad of him and it shows deeply just how afriad she is.

Oz gets a look of surprise at what Blisa does.

Vladmir smirks and draws his sword, his eyes twinkling brighter, deftly sidestepping Blisa's saliva.  The wickedly angled tip of the blade roves slowly past each prisoner as he draws out the moment.  "All of you are ceasing to be of any use of me with disturbing swiftness.  Too many mouths to feed, in exchange for too little useful information recieved." It's almost as if he's ignoring the kitten...Then..."Oh, yes."  He turns towards the door, then in a blur of movement, whirls around and slaps Blisa in the face with the flat of the jagged sword.  "...And I would advise you not to do that again if you value your existence."

Kiara whimpers as the kitten is hit,.."You..you...." She starts to go check on Blisa carefully looking away from Vladmir.

Blisa screams and sits down, tears forming in her eyes from the pain.  She pushes Kiara's paws away and stands, despite her stinging face.  "I've got some information."

Vladmir shakes his head.  "I highly doubt it.  If there is a chance that you do, we will discuss this later.  /Now/, however..."  Suddenly he prods Kiara with the tip of his blade. "You.  Get up.  Now."

Kiara frowns and slowly stands, her ears droop but she does as she is told and she is standing, she gulps and keeps her attention on Vladmir.

"Good."  Vladmir nods slowly, then bares his teeth and snarls in a wordless, venomous roar, grabbing Kiara by the shoulder and storming towards the door.

Kiara gasps and struggles as she tries to get free.

To no avail.  Vladmir drags her from the room, and the door crashes shut behind them.

Blisa stares at the door, all the words she meant to say, all the things she planned to do to Vladmir, floating around in her head, undone.  She sits down and strokes her stinging cheek with her good paw, tears flowing down as dissapointment floods through her.
